ESKK: Here we are the event you've all been waiting for the first battle against a Dark Falz. Yeap its UQ time people so now let's mobilize!
(Start ARK's ship meeting Room)
The ARKs/Republic combo fleet were back at the staging area this time with both Obi-Wan and Mace Windu's fleets as well. In the meeting area of the command deck Arthur, Morgan, Anakin, Mace, Obi-Wan, and Cham were gathered with the holographic images of Palpatine, Yoda, Cham Syndulla, and Senator Taa. "This is bad this is real bad." Morgan said as she rubbed her eyes in frustration.
"It would have been beneficial for us to know a Dark Falz could do what we just saw." Mace said as he was not happy about being kept in the dark about this.
"We were hoping to defeat it before it used that." Arthur said as he was aware of it but had hoped to avoid taking it on if it can be helped.
"But what of our people?" Taa asked with concern for those on Ryloth.
"We've already had evacuation ships on the ground, we've already gotten them off world and into an ARK's Ship for safety, if worse comes to worse we may need to relocate them." Arthur said being blunt about this.
"Relocate?!" Cham asked in shock over this.
"Cham please understand, if we don't defeat this Dark Falz there may not be a Ryloth for your people to return to, I'd much rather your people survived over letting them die with Ryloth." Arthur said and thus Cham sighed and steeled his emotions. Arthur made a good point if the planet cannot be saved from Elder then at least her people can be saved.
"Now then I think we need to acknowledge the Rancor in the room." Obi-Wan said and thus Palpatine nodded.
"Of course, Councilman Arthur if you'd be so, kind as to tell us what your plan is to combat Elder?" Palpatine asked as he looked to Arthur.
"Despite wanting to avoid this we did plan for such a contingency." Arthur said and thus began to draw up the information. "From what we understand Elder is normally protected by his arms which he can detach and send into combat." Arthur began showing a hologram of Elder's massive form. "With this in mind our plan is to eliminate those arms and in turn giving us a direct path to battle Elder." Arthur said crossing the arms off from Elder's image.
"Can't we just draw the arms away to hit this thing directly?" Anakin asked to which Morgan spoke up on this.
"If only it was that easy, with the arms detached Elder produces a barrier, we can't get through them until we eliminate those arms." Morgan said as she showed the images of Elders arms. "The arms are capable of splitting up into more Falspawn so taking them out is top priority." Morgan said to which everyone understood. "We'll need to split our resources to tackle each arm that way Elder can't assist one arm and his focus will be divided." Morgan said as she looked to those actually here.
"I can have Ahsoka lead one group while I lead up another." Anakin offered to which seeing where they were going with this.
"Good, each of us here will lead a group into battle and once each arm is eliminated we go for Elder Directly but beyond that it's tricky." Arthur said and thus showed Elder's primary image with his arms.
"More there is?" Yoda asked as he looked to Arthur.
"The main body is hard to get through, we need to go after its core where it's weakest but the problem there is getting close while the core is revealed and that's not even factoring in getting the core revealed." Morgan said as she looked to the group.
"So how do we get Elder to reveal his core?" Obi-Wan asked to which Arthur sighed to this.
"We attack the glowing parts of his body in these locations." Arthur said as the joints of Elder's body as well as other parts were highlighted for their plan of attack. "The 'irritation,' on those parts with sufficient enough force will force Elder to reveal his core as to regain himself." Arthur said as he was mainly using what he learned from playing PSO2 for so long to handle this battle.
"But even with this strategy Elder will get smart about it and then the battle gets harder for all of us." Arthur said as he looked to the gathered allies.
"Take this risk we must. Allow Elder to rampage we must not." Yoda said knowing full well that if Elder is allowed to continue then Ryloth was doomed to destruction.
"I agree Master Jedi, Sir Arthur I will try to provide your people with as much aid as I can but I fear it may not arrive in time for your assault to begin." Palpatine said as he looked to Arthur with concern over this.
"We will make do with what we have for now if your reinforcements arrive all the better." Arthur said and thus they were all in agreement on this plan of attack. "Now then we must gather what we can to begin this attack, each of us will take an arm and tackle it head on." Arthur said as he looked to the group gathered here with him who nodded in agreement.
Arthur then turned to one of the bridge crew with his next order. "Send an Alert to all ARK's ships and the Fleet of Dark Falz Elders sighting over Ryloth. We will begin the operation to neutralize Dark Falz Elder." Arthur said and thus the Bridge tech nodded to her Commanding officer.
"Yes sir!" She called out and got to work on sending the alert to all ARK's Operatives.
"Now gather your forces Jedi, we must do everything in our power to defeat Dark Falz Elder." Arthur said and thus they were all in agreement on this.
"Right!" They all said just before the holograms vanished. But as they took their leave Cham wanted to voice an objection on this.
"And what of me?" Cham asked to which Arthur sighed to this.
"Be with your people if we fail they will need someone to guide them." Arthur said and thus Cham understood what Arthur meant.
"But you won't fail I can promise that." Cham said as he knew ARK's will NOT fail against Elder's assault.
"Pray that you are correct." Arthur said and thus he began to take his leave with the others to prepare their forces to attack Elder.
(Scene Break Yuvel ARK's Ship)
ARK's Operatives were scrambling to get ready for the fight to come. First they had to liberate Ryloth from the Separatists and now they had to save Ryloth from Dark Falz Elder. It was like the Urgent Quest for it back in Phantasy Star Online 2 only it was real. Which meant if they died that was it game over no respawns and no revives. This meant they had to do everything in their power to win this or else billions of people will die.
"ATTENTION ALL ARKS OPERATIVES DARK FALZ [ELDER] HAS BEEN SIGHTED OVER RYLOTH! WE ARE PREPARING TO INITIATE A COUNTER OFFENSIVE AGAINST ELDER!" The bridge crew announcement called out to all available combat ready ARK's Operatives. "I REPEAT ALL ABLE BODY ARKS OPERATIVES WE ARE PREPARING A COUNTER OFFENSIVE AGAINST DARK FALZ ELDER ALL ABLE BODY OPERATIVES ARE TO PREPARE FOR COMBAT AGAINST DARK FALZ ELDER!" The Bride tech called out and thus they all knew to get themselves combat ready to face Dark Falz Elder.
Yuvel had all the items he would need, his weapons, his health recovery potions, the works as he and his entire team will be tackling Elder. From what was reported they would be taking on each of Elder's Arms one team will eliminate one arm each and once the arms were handled they will go for the main body itself.
This may actually turn into their toughest battle yet and Yuvel was actually nervous about it. "Nervous buddy?" Reggie was heard as the CAST approached Yuvel with concern for him.
"Yeah a bit." Yuvel admitted as he had good reason to be nervous about this.
"Don't be buddy we'll win this and when we do we'll be back to have some drinks." Reggie said as he knew they would win this.
"Reggie this isn't like PSO2 if we fail then we die." Yuvel said as he was worried about this.
"Then we need to be careful." Laura added in as she approached the two boys. "Besides we're strongest when we're united after all." Laura added to which they all knew she had a point.
"We'll get through this." Zurna said as she stood atop one of the Elevators before jumping down. "We have no other choice but do get through it." Zurna added as she joined with her friends here.
Yuvel then sighed as he swore his friends seem to know what to say and when to say it when he was unsure on things. "Jeez." Yuvel said and thus he smiled to the group. "Come on lets go meet up with the others now." Yuvel said and thus they headed to meet with their team for their attack against Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan. Hopefully they'll come out of this in one piece.
(Later)
They met at the Gate Way Ship boarding area as Yuvel saw the group all gathered here. They were ready for battle in one way or another as it was the same group that had helped them back during the space combat against the Blockade.
"Oi mates, looks like our fearless leader's here." Lon said as he saw Yuvel was here. "So how 'bout a few words for the troops, now?" Lon asked as the Newman Gunner looked to Yuvel.
"I believe that would be Arthur's role in this battle." Came the Bouncer of the group, Houki, as the Newman smiled to her gathered friends.
"Still some inspiration could go a long way before and after Arthur does his." Zion said as he sat on the bench ready to roll.
"I don't think any amount of inspiration will get rid of the pressure in winning this battle." Lana said as the CAST was doing a final check on her cannon.
"We can only do our best and hope it will be enough to win this." Chiyo said as she stood with the group.
"No." Yuvel said as he got everyone's attention. "Our best won't be good enough that's why we need to go above and beyond if we want to defeat Dark Falz." Yuvel said as he looked to the group who heard this. "If we managed to beat him here then not only will we save billions and the planet they call home but it will prove once and for all that the Dark Falz CAN be beaten." Yuvel said as he looked to the group as they heard their leader's words with pride. "We make our stand against Elder here, we've already taken Ryloth back from the Separatists now it's time to save Ryloth from the Dark Falz." Yuvel said and thus they all felt inspired a bit from Yuvel's words to them.
"Ah my leader a speech most manifique." Dominique said as the French Dueman would no doubt do his best to fight Elder in this battle.
"Thanks." Yuvel said as he looked ready to roll out.
"Well I'm glad to see you all are ready to move." Ahsoka was heard and soon the group looked and saw Ahsoka approaching them with Rex and a few other Clone Troopers.
"Ahsoka what are you doing here?" Yuvel asked as he was surprised Ahsoka of all people was here.
"Master Skywalker wants me to go with you guys to combat one of the Falz Arms." Ahsoka said as she looked to Yuvel on this.
"Can your jar heads here keep up?" Reggie asked and thus Rex smirked at the CAST before him.
"Buddy you'll find the members of the 501st more than able to keep up." Rex said to which Zurna smirked to this.
"Good then we'll all need to get along for this." Zurna said and thus she got up.
"Ello luv." Lon said as he approached the Togruta on this. "The name is Lon pleasure ta meet ya." Lon said tipping his hat to Ahsoka.
"Zion." Zion said as the CAST waved to the Togruta Padawan from his spot on the bench.
"I'm Houki." The Newman Bouncer, Houki, greeted as she looked to Ahsoka who was happy to meet the ARKs Operative.
"Kaz." The Newman named Kaz greeted with his arms crossed while leaning on the wall.
Next came the Newman with a gunblade as she approached Ahsoka accompanied by Lana. "I'm Lana and this is Yuna." Lana introduced as the CAST gestured to herself and her longtime gunblade wielding friend Yuna.
"It's nice to meet you Commander Tano." Yuna greeted as she smiled to the Padawan.
Just then the human ARK's Operative approached with a smile on her face. "Hi the name is Chiyo let's try to get along." Chiyo said as she rather have a healthy work relationship between them. "By the way I'd be careful around." Chiyo began until Dominique stepped in on them.
"Bonjour mon Cheri je m'appelle Dominique." Dominque introduced himself as a few of the French sounding Deuman's summoning's showed up as part of his greeting while creating sparkles. He was being flirty by his tone alone as Chiyo sighed to their teammate's introduction.
"Too late." Chiyo said as she was embarrassed to be seen in public with him.
"It's nice to meet you all… um sorry what did he say?" Ahsoka asked and thus Yuvel translated.
"His name is Dominque." Yuvel translated and thus Ahsoka nodded figuring out Dominque is one of those over the top sort of people here.
"We think is Mag is busted or something." Reggie added and thus Dominique glared at the CAST for that one.
But before any more words can be shared the Bridge Tech came over the intercom. "ATTENTION ALL ARKS OPERATIVES WE ARE NOW BEGINNING THE COUNTER OFFENSIVE AGAINST DARK FALZ ELDER I REPEAT THE COUNTERT OFFENSIVE AGAINST DARK FALZ ELDER IS COMMENCING. ALL ARKS OPERATIVES REPORT TO THE DROP SHIPS FOR IMMEDIATE DEPLOYMENT." She called out and thus the screens and ceiling areas of the hub was flashing red for the Urgent Mission Alert to ARKs.
"It's time to go guys." Yuvel said and thus they all got ready to move.
(Scene Break Later Drop Ships)
The ARK's Ships flew to their destination all of them carrying the teams that would be combatting Elder. Accompanying those ships were Republic Gunships as they had the Clone Troopers in them. The actual fleets would keep their distance and attack Elder from afar. The plan was the only viable one they had and according to data it had a very small chance of success.
Yuvel and Ahsoka's team were in one ship as they approached their staging area for this mission. This mission would decide the fate of this war if they can defeat Elder than it proves the Galaxy had a chance of beating the other Dark Falz. As they flew a few of them were worried for what was to come but all they could do was wait and hope for the best possible outcome from this. Obi-Wan would be leading the ARK's team assigned to him with Commander Cody and a few Clones, Mace would have an ARK's team and his own Clone Troopers since his assigned ARK's team was currently in the medical wing. Anakin would have another group of ARK's operatives as he and a few members of the 501st would tackle their arm. Arthur and Morgan would lead only ARK's Operatives into the battle against their assigned arms since they didn't have enough Clone Battalions to go around.
As the ships flew they made their way to Elder who was all but waiting for them as the giant Dark Falz glared at them in nothing but pure contempt. As they got closer they all knew it was now or never to win this battle and defeat Dark Falz Elder and save Ryloth.
(Meanwhile ARK's bridge Crew)
"Beginning Photon Particle dispersal." A Bridge tech said as she typed away on her control station. "Photon Combat Field Eradiate now!" She called out and slammed down on the button activating the Photon Field to combat Elder.
(Battle)
The Photons spread out and covered the battle venue providing life support and gravity for ARK's Ops and Republic forces to fight against Elder in. Once this was done the Republic Gunships pilots were able to be modified so to allow them to land their troops safely. In turn they got ready to drop off their troops on the platform ships to combat Elder.
(Arthur)
Arthur seeing the promised time was upon them began to go on a live channel so to address the troops. Once he did this he made sure his Mag was recording him and sending a life stream to ARK's central as well as the ships. Arthur knew that it was now time to rally the troops against Dark Falz Elder.
"Attention ARK's Operatives and our Republic Allies." Arthur began and thus instantly got everyone's attention on him. "Before we begin I believe I should say a few words." Arthur said and thus they got ready to move out into battle. "All of you who are entering this battle believe it may be a suicide mission one way or another." Arthur said as he looked to the camera to address those joining ARK's in this mission. "Some may even call it a fool's errand." Arthur continued knowing there were those who were no doubt thinking it.
"Perhaps it is… but I won't those thoughts be proven correct." Arthur said as he looked to the camera. "All of you ARK's and allies new and old honor and humbled me this day with your selfless courage." Arthur said as he was inspiring them. "This battle may prove to be difficult but if we can win no… WHEN we win this battle we will prove that the Dark Falz can be and WILL BE defeated." Arthur said as he looked to his MAG's lens. "It's time to make our marks on the Galaxy so I order you ARK's Operatives and Republic Forces to arms!" Arthur ordered and thus the crew with him began to cheer ready to fight Elder. In fact from communications alone he could tell all ships were filled with inspired troops ready to bear their fangs against the massive Dark Falz.
Now it was time for them to go to war against Dark Falz Elder.
(Scene Break Yuvel and Ahsoka's Teams)
The Ships began to land at the staging area as they prepared to take on one of the Falz arms controlled by Dark Falz Elder. The ARK's Gate Way Ship released the 12 ARK's Operatives and Ahsoka as they charged out. Next came the Clone Troopers as they came out next ready for battle here.
"Rex any news on those walkers?" Yuvel asked as they were getting cannons set up to hit the arms and Elder when needed.
"Drop ships are setting them up as we speak." Rex said as he was surprised to have working gravity out here. ARK's tech was truly an amazing thing for them to have.
"Got it, but once this starts there's no turning back." Ahsoka said and thus they were in agreement on this.
"Activating Teleporter." Reggie said as on the ground a Teleporter station was set up for them. Despite the Tanks being set up nearby this was the staging area after all.
"Before we go, look out for each other, watch each other's backs, and good luck. Heaven knows we'll need it." Yuvel said and thus they were all ready to move. Not long after the group vanished and in turn headed to their platform ship to battle against the Falz Arms.
(Later on the Battle Platform)
The group arrived on the platform as intended as they all got ready to move out to battle against Elder. From the distance Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan was seen and before him was a portal of dark Photonic energies. From the portal one of his arms flew out and was coming straight for them. As the arms got closer they split apart into not one not two but FIVE Falspawns born of Elder's power.
They were similar to hands in appearance but each finger were tipped with heads on them. The middle finger acted as the center head while the other four fingers took on the roles of feet. "Everyone pick a target and fight!" Yuvel called out and thus the battle began as he and the ARK's Operatives all charged in to battle. With them the Clone Troopers went in with Ahsoka leading them into the epic clash.
The battle began as plasma and photon bolts shot out against the large Falz Arms. The attacks didn't do much against the Falz arms but the groups were trying their best. Houki was seen bouncing around slamming her jet boots into the Falz Arm in an attempt to harm it. Once she landed she switched over to her Soaring Blades and slashed into it and saw visible damage to it. Following it up was Lana as she hovered in with her cannon firing it off at the Falz Arm and started to make minor cracks on its body with it. It wasn't large cracks or even major ones but it was something there at least.
The Clones all began to fire their rifles at one of the Falz using a higher grade of weapons with a higher caliber to cause damage to the Falz Arms. Luckily their combat training came in handy as they went to handle the Falz Arms to aid the ARKs Operatives. That was until Ahsoka roared a she charged in and slashed at the Falz Arm with her Lightsaber in an attempt to cause it harm. But alas Ahsoka's lightsaber did close to no harm to the Falz Arm before her.
Just then Chiyo came in with her wire blade and jumped over Ahsoka before going to the Dark Falz head on the arm. The female ARK's Operative then proceeded to slashed at the Dark Falz head with her wire blades. Once this was done she saw there was damage done to it as coming up next was Reggie as he hovered in and fired his rifle off at the Falz Arm aiming for the joints of its armor for movement. He was far from done as he went at the Falz Arm intent on taking it down at all costs.
With another Falz Arm Yuvel roared out as he had jumped up before slashing down his sword upon the foe. Once he did so he jumped back and gave Laura an opening to fire off her techniques upon the foe hitting it with explosive Techniques. Once that was done Laura moved aside to allow Zurna through as she charged in with her Katana ready to do some damage. She powered through some of the smaller attacks with her weapons sheath. Once this was done Zurna began to slash and pass by the arms legs using her Katana to slash into it at blinding speed. The Deuman was clearly using something of a quick draw attack to cause the foe harm.
Next up was Lon as he ran around his Falz Arm firing his handguns off against the Falz Arm. As he did this he regrouped with Rex and Zion as the later of the two had his Glaive drawn forth. Once this was done Rex and Lon nodded before firing their guns at the Falz Arm to draw its attention. Once this was done Lon charged in as the CAST got ready to attack the massive foe standing before him. He then jumped up using his boosters to help with this and spun his Glaive a bit before slashing down upon the Dark Falz Arm. Once this was done he was then saved by the Newman techer who threw his Talis card at Zion before teleporting to his current location. Once this was done he threw another Card after grabbing him and teleported to safety.
That was, at least, until he threw another card and used it to set off a light based attack against the Falz Arm before them. The attack did the damage as intended and thus he smirked to this good fortune. "Nice moved there Kaz." Zion said but Kaz didn't pay attention to any praise here.
"Focus on the mission." Kaz said and thus the two had to part when a Falz Arm nearly crushed them. They ran around it as Kaz sent off more of his Techniques against their foe. The cracks on the Falz Arms were spreading thanks to this as Zion then passed by Dominque who charged in. He raised his baton and thus his dragon pet began to attack as it attacked the Dark Falz from multiple angles before returning to its master. Smiling to this Yuna charged in and fired off her Gunblade at her foes before she jumped up and slashed through one of its eyes causing it great pain.
During the whole battle the cracks on the Falz Arm's body had become more profound as they spread out. Pieces of it even fell off to reveal the crimson innards. The armor that made up their faces had even broken off which put a huge advantage to the gathered allies. "We're hurting it we might actually win this." Rex said as he looked to the others.
Just then the Falz Arms began their counter attack much to the groups worry. To start off they began to slither about attacking the foes as they came by. As the group was forced to dodge this attack a few Clones got hit thanks to this much to the ARK's Operatives shock and worry. Following it up the Falz Arms rose up and broke apart again and began firing lasers upon them forcing the group to run and find cover from the beam attacks. Next up they flew upward once more and thus they began merging together in a portal of some sort. When this happened they came back down and began rolling around as a giant ball of death and destruction upon them.
As they ran Yuvel had an idea as he then looked over to Commander Rex. "Rex have the walkers open fire on that thing!" Yuvel called out and thus Rex saw what Yuvel was thinking.
"Walkers, Open fire!" Rex ordered into the communication lines and thus they knew what came next.
(Meanwhile with the Walkers)
The Walkers receiving the orders began to open fire upon the targeted Falz Arms which were currently in roller form. The other Tanks joined in as they each began to fire their massive weapon upon the Falz Arms to do as much damage as possible to the dark foe.
(Back with the Falz Arm Battle)
As the combined Falz Arms continued rolling around the tanks managed to hit their intended target with enough force to push them back. The fire continued until one good hit managed to break the arms apart and thus their foe was back to being five. But what added to this was that now they were suffering from severe damage. In the perspective of the ARK's Operatives the Falz Arms Health Points were nearly depleted here. This meant that a few more good hits and the Falz Arm would be as good as dead. Thus they continued their assault as with each hit the Falz Arms grew weaker. The combined unit was doing all they could to end this foe and prove that a Dark Falz can in fact be defeated.
Their attack continued as the Falz Arms began to fall one by one against the united from strength of both ARKs Ops and the Grand Army of the Republic. Victory was well within their grasp that they can almost taste it with each Arms fall. They were going to win this battle they had to win this battle at all costs. So they persevered and continued their assault on them. Eventually there was only one Falz Arm left as Yuvel glared at it and saw it too was on its last leg thanks to their efforts to end its master.
In turn Yuvel charged in allowing his sword to grind on the ground as he charged. He then jumped up with a roar of defiance and focused his Photons into his weapon before he came down and slashed down upon the Falz Arm before him. Once this was done all was quiet for but a moment as all eyes were on the ARK's Operative here. Eventually the arm gained a split and thus roared in pain before it became a final death roar for it. The result was all five Falz Arms returning to its owner as they began to open a path to end Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan. Once this was done Flare turned around and swung his sword to the side just before the Falz Arms vanished from sight for the group.
"We got it!" Ahsoka called out as the group saw they did it.
"It's not over yet, we still need to get the main core." Zurna said as they could only hope the others got their assigned Falz Arms.
(Obi-Wan)
Obi-Wan and the ARK's Operatives with the Storm Troopers proving them aid were finishing up their own Falz Arm target. They continued their assault as just then Oma roared and stabbed the last one with his partisan ending it. When his attack made contact the Falz Arm roared in pain before it was being drawn back to Dark Falz Elder.
Obi-Wan regrouped with his Clone Battalion saw this and thus sighed in relief a bit. "Our target has been neutralized here!" Obi-Wan said into his communicator and thus quickly received a response from the others.
"We just finished our arm Master Kenobi." Ahsoka responded as she sounded a bit winded and for good reason too. If the arms were this thought then Force knows that Elders main body will be a war all its own.
"We just finished up here." Arthur said as he was heard on the communicators. "I will head to assist General Skywalker." Arthur said as only Windu and Anakin had yet to report in.
"Same here with Windu." Morgan said and thus it was clear aid was coming to assist them.
"Good keep me posted on the operation." Obi-Wan said before he looked to Dark Falz Elder's main body from afar. "And Force give us all strength to get through this." Obi-Wan muttered knowing full well this was going to be a battle no one would forget for centuries to come.
(Meanwhile over with Anakin's forces)
Anakin and both the Clones and ARKs Operatives he was leading were not having an easy battle. The Falz arms were proving to be difficult for them to take on and was pushing them to the edge. Already a few good men had lost their lives and others had been left injured from this fight. But despite this Anakin persevered especially after hearing the others over the communicator having defeated their assigned Falz Arms earlier.
But to get to Elder's core ALL of the arms needed to be dealt with not 4 out of 6 of them. As Anakin tried to hold on the Falz Arms came upon the troops and Anakin began to realize he may have bitten off more than he can chew. But before Anakin could even raise his lightsaber again Arthur appeared from behind the Falz Arm with his Cosmogenic Arm still in its sealed form. He came down and slashed down upon the foe and began swinging the sword about causing damage to all those who opposed it in battle. He was currently hovering showing he currently had boosters on his back that produced Photonic Particles to help him fly.
"Are you ok?" Arthur asked as he looked to Anakin.
"Yeah but the men had taken some bad hits." Anakin said and thus Arthur nodded to the Jedi Knight here.
"It seems I have no choice then." Arthur said knowing it was now time to bust out the big guns. "I will end these Falz Arms with one powerful blow." Arthur said as he began to focus his power on his Yozora to awaken it.
Arthur first switched his hold on his weapon in the quick draw stance. In turn chains on the weapon began to come undone as Arthur focused the power to what came next. "Strike forth Yozora!" Arthur invoked and in turn drew and swung his sword and for a brief moment a crest appeared from the attack Arthur had just performed. When he did so all those gathered were shocked that with but a single strike Arthur had decimated all of the Falz Arms in their way and caused some damage to the area as well. The path cleared Arthur took a battle stance as he dealt with the Falz Arms while gripping the awoken Yozora in his hands ready for more.
"Thanks." Anakin said knowing there had to be a reason Arthur doesn't use that sword more often in battle. "Gather the wounded and get them to safety. Join us once you've done so." Arthur said before he blasted off to face Elder's main body.
"Well you heard him move!" Anakin ordered a trooper who nodded to his Jedi General. They had a lot of work to do and right now it seems the tides were turning in their favor.
(Meanwhile with Mace Windu's Forces)
Windu with a few remaining Clones and ARK's Operatives were facing the final Falz Arm as they were clearly on their last legs. The fight went on until from behind them Morgan was seen boosting in with her Photons Boosters equipped and active for her. "Dash and Rampage beyond the Realms Sleipnir!" Morgan invoked and thus the mask shattered as her Cosmogenic Arms awoken again. Morgan sliced down with her Partisan and in turn split the Falz Arm in two. The result was the two halves falling before being lifted up to return to Elder with the other Falz arms.
Morgan then looked over to Windu who was catching his breath after that whole ordeal. "Master Jedi I suggest you sit the rest of this out." Morgan said as she saw Windu was pushing his body to its limit right now.
"No I can still fight." Windu said but Morgan put a hand on his shoulder to force him down a bit.
"I know but I will not sacrifice any lives if I can help it, return to the ship, rest, and protect those still there." Morgan said as she knew Windu did his best. "You've done all you can now leave the final bout to the bravery of ARKs." Morgan said and in turn Windu was force to concede to the CAST on this.
"Just… make it back in one piece." Windu said and thus Morgan nodded as drop ships arrived to pick up those who were currently injured.
(Scene Break the Battle Platforms)
Eventually the platform arrived before Elder whose demonic eyes flashed to life showing he was ready to deal with them himself. The Six Arms they had destroyed were back as it seems their count was off as a 4th pair of arms were there. The Arms in question proceeded to cover Elder's Core no doubt knowing this weakness and intent on defending it from his current foes at all costs.
Yuvel glared at his foe and pointed his sword at Elder in challenge to the Dark Falz. In fact the rest of his team did the same showing they would not surrender to the monster.
"I will crush you all with the full force of my power." Elder began and in turn the battle began.
"Here he comes!" Ahsoka called out and thus Yuvel and his team scattered with the Clone Troopers and the Jedi who lead them into battle. After they scattered they saw the glowing spots stretching to unveil themselves before the heroes.
"Open fire there!" Reggie called out and thus he Lana, Yuna began firing their weapons at the glowing spot with Laura and Houki sending off Techniques to the spot. Nearby the Clones opened fire and thus it became clear what the strategy was for them. They began their assault at their earnest as they focused their fire upon the arms where the parts glowed.
The plan was straight forward eliminate each of his arms so Elder would be forced to use the arms covering his core to attack them. But despite the plan being simple executing it was anything but. Elder began to put up a fight against them as the eldritch force would not take their assault lying down. Thus Elder fought back intent on end his foes lives.
The group of course would not make it easy for Elder as they had a job to do. Luckily they had help from a distance. Soon explosive bows hit Elder's main body causing him to stumble in response to it. Their walkers that were set up gave them a tactical advantage over Elder to provide them with aid so to combat the powerful Dark Falz. As the battle continued Elder had his arms ready for his next attack as he began slamming them down upon the group who scattered to avoid the Dark Falz attacks.
Elder then brought all his hands together as if to focus his power. Once he was done he got his hands ready for his next attack on the heroes. "How about this?" Elder said as he began to fire lasers from each of his hands and moved them around forcing the group to find cover.
"Move!" Rex called out as the group began to run to whatever cover they could find which there, were none. Some Clones were unable to dodge the lasers and without powerful enough protection were quickly atomized by the laser shots.
"You bastard!" Reggie roared and in turn Lon charged in and began firing his guns at one of the arms. Once he did this Zion came in and jammed his Glaive into the red spot. When that task was done Yuvel roared out and stabbed his sword into the arm causing it to crack and break apart robbing Elder of his arms.
Elder didn't seem to mind as he chuckled like he was enjoying this. Elder in turn continued his assault on them as he began to rely on his other arms against his foes. "Everyone group up and focused on an arm! Once that arm is finished break up and help the other groups!" Ahsoka said and thus they all saw her plan.
"Sir Yes Sir!" The Clones called out and thus Yuvel had to agree on this plan.
"You heard the Jedi, guys!" Yuvel called out and thus he and his team split up to take on each of the arms.
Seeing this Elder began to laugh as he saw the group was strong as they were smart. "Yes more struggle more for me, I'm having the time of my life!" Elder called out as he continued his attack on them.
Thus one by one each of Elder's arms were destroyed as the group carried out Ahsoka's plan. Of course Elder tried to stop him but with each arm destroyed the following arms destruction came quicker each time. Eventually Elder was down to his last two arms that were covering his core and the arms he had hovering beyond their reach.
Elder began to laugh to this no doubt enjoying this battle for all its worth. Thus Elder pulled back a bit and to everyone's surprise he began to regrow the arms he lost. "Oh come on!" Ahsoka cried out when she saw what had happened.
"Wait look!" Yuvel called out as he saw, Elder, revealing his core showing he was going to use all of his arms against the group.
"Guys." Laura began as in turn Elder began to charge up a powerful attack.
"Answer me o depths. Give me the power to tear asunder the very universe!" Elder called out and thus fired two large spheres of dark Photons.
"Look out!" Lana cried out but before either one hit they were deflected by two new arrivals.
"Did we make it on time?" Arthur was heard as he and Morgan were seen hovering with their Cosmogenic Arms still in their awakened state.
"Arthur, Morgan!" Yuvel cried out shocked and happy to see they had arrived to help them.
"We'll handle the nastier attacks from Elder you focus on taking this monster down." Morgan ordered and thus they got back to work on defeating the evil Dark Falz.
In turn Elder got close to the battle platform again and began firing off dark energy spheres at the group from his many available hands. In response to this Arthur and Morgan began deflecting them providing the group with cover. Leaving himself open each group took and arm and went for the glowing red spots on each of his palms.
The groups continued to do this with the Clone Troopers keeping their distance while the ARK's Operatives got close and personal with Elder. Ahsoka was seen providing aid to Yuvel as Elder continued his attack on them. Clearly they were struggling as Elder was barely showing signs of weakening but they knew they had to win this and defeat Elder.
But as Morgan and Arthur provided the ground troops with aid cannon fire from the walkers began to increase. Elder was being given the full might of the heroes allies as Republic Cruisers and ARK's ships grew closer firing upon Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan. The battle continued as Elder's attacks were starting to become wilder as his dark laughter filled echoed around the battle. Elder from this tone alone was enjoying the battle showing that the only thing Elder has on his mind is a true warriors glorious battle.
But in an attempt to turn the tables Elder grabbed the platform and thus to everyone's shock began to move it. AS they tried to keep their footing Elder hoisted himself over it and thus it became clear what the Dark Falz was about to do.
"RUN!" Yuvel cried out and thus they all began to run to the edges of the platform.
"Where!?" Rex asked and thus Reggie had the answer.
"To the edge any gaps between Elder and the edge!" Reggie called out as they in turn all got moving. But it seems that a lone trooper was not going to be so lucky and thus Yuvel went wide eyed to this. The Dark Falz Elder then began his attack by slamming down on the ground. In response Yuvel charged in and used his sword to block the attack much to everyone's surprise. Yuvel did his best to hold his ground but it would not last and thus he looked to the trooper.
"Go!" Yuvel called out and thus the clone Trooper got moving to a safe location. As Yuvel struggled he grit his teeth as he focused all his Photons on his strength. He in turn began to take slow yet steady steps while he continued to block at least until Elder rose back up. But once he did so Yuvel was on him like a predator would be on its prey. Yuvel slashed at Elder's eye after performing a high jump and thus caused Elder to cry out in pain from the new gash Yuvel made.
Arthur and Morgan saw this and in turn saw that they now had the chance to end this battle here and now. "Everyone give him cover now!" Arthur called out and thus everyone went into action against Dark Falz Elder.
One by one the attack began, Arthur and Morgan sent powerful Photon Wave Slashes with their Cosmogenic Arms. Laura, Kaz, Houki sent out Techniques as Houki used her Jet Boots to do so. Lon, Reggie, Lana, and Yuna fired their weapons upon the Dark Falz with the Troopers who remained helping them. When she saw something Yuna went and slashed through an arm with her Gunblade when it got to close to the group. Lana then joined up with Chiyo and Zion as they went full frontal on Elder's arm. Next came Ahsoka and Dominique as the French Summoner and Jedi Padawan united their strength with Ahsoka and Zurna seen slashing at one of the Falz Arm that got close.
They all looked like legendary heroes in this fight as Dark Falz Elder was being pushed into a corner by these brave souls united. During all of this with explosions going on around him Yuvel charged in as he roared out aiming for Elder's core. In turn with a mighty roar of triumph Yuvel spun around before he stabbed his sword straight into Elder's core.
This final strike began a chain reaction as Elder was heard roaring in pain and rage from this killing blow. Elder's massive body began to rumble and crack as it floated away and in turn began breaking apart. As everyone saw this cheers were heard as Elder's body broke apart. They had done it the day was won Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan has been defeated and thus proof that the Collective was not invincible.
As everyone began to let out a sigh of relief Yuvel felt off somehow as did Ahsoka. Though by the looks of it for different reasons. It soon became clear when Ahsoka saw something in one of the fallen hands. "Look!" Ahsoka called out and from the hand Elder in his human form once more appeared.
When they all saw Elder the Dark Falz quickly vanished knowing full well his time was up here. "Dammit he got away." Reggie cursed realizing Elder was still alive.
"But we still managed to beat him." Laura said to which Yuvel chuckled a bit before he fell over. "Yuvel!" Laura cried out as Ahsoka went to check on him as did Kix. When Kix and Ahsoka gave him a look over Kaz also joined in and saw what was wrong. Yuvel was currently snoring a bit and thus it was clear what had happened.
"Looks like our idiot leader here must have pushed himself and decided to take a nap on us so he can recover his strength." Kaz said with a small chuckled Kix had to agree here.
"Honestly mate, I think we all deserved some holidays." Lon said as he limped over a bit.
"You and me both brother." Zion said as he agreed with the Gunner Newman currently with them.
Just then Republic gunships and ARK's dropships arrived as from the Gunships Anakin was seen. "Did I miss the fun?" Anakin asked realizing he was late to the party.
"Yes, but trust me you didn't miss much." Zurna said as she sat there and had to ask. "So did we earn some shore leave?" Zurna asked with curiosity as she wanted to rest after all that. In turn the injured were being loaded up for medical transport and the dead were being prepared for proper burials. The losses were great one cannot deny but they won in the end, they proved a Dark Falz can be hurt and defeated. Thus with this information it also means that the Dark Falz Collective and those who were similar to them can be killed. But still despite this great victory for our hero's darkness still surges for power.
(Elder)
Elder stumbled out of his portal a bit as he held his newly acquired injuries. At least until he began to laugh as if he had enjoyed that battle… which he did. As he came out the other members of the Collective bar Luther showed up.
"You just couldn't help yourself could you?" Apprentice began as she glared at, Elder, scolding her Fellow Dark Falz. "Now thanks to you the entire Galaxy knows about us." Apprentice said as she hated the mess Elder leaves when he goes on a battle spree.
"It's like Persona said if we don't hold a united front then we will never be able to revive the Profound Darkness." Gemini Male said as he stood with his twin sister.
"If we are unable to work together then we will fail in our mission to revive the Profound Darkness. "Gemini Female said as she stood with her brother.
"Enough." Persona said as he got everyone's attention on him. "We need to leave now before the Republic sends search parties for us." Persona said and thus they all knew this.
"Still what an exquisite battle, like fine wine and that boy the one who laid the final blow truly a rarity those like him." Elder said as he hoped to face Yuvel again soon.
"We don't have time to feed your bloodlust Elder." Persona said as he glared at his fellow Dark Falz scolding the battle crazed Elder.
"Very well." Elder conceded as he looked to his fellows. "And where is Luther?" Elder asked noticing they were short by one.
"He was tasked with a private project one that uses his own Cloning expertise." Persona said and thus Elder understood as they then looked to the distance. "Their getting closer we need to leave now." Persona said and in turn upon seeing these each Dark Falz blinked out of existence one by one via their personal dark portals. Once the Dark Falz were all gone a Gunships spot light passed over them. Whatever the Dark Falz Endgame was it clearly involved the Profound Darkness and for some reason they needed to be a united front for this. Still regardless of the truth the Republic and ARK's Ops will fight against darkness and tyranny for years to come because that was a hero's duty in the Clone Wars.
