I was gonna say, I was kind of expecting more reviews, this lets me know people are reading but let's get on with the story, hope you like this

At dinnertime, everyone was still buzzing on their win, they were still talking about it. Aubrey placed their trophy on the center of their table as the Bellas gathered to eat.

"I can't believe it, we finally won," Fat Amy said. "I can't wait to get back to Barden to shove this trophy up Bumper's ass."

The others laughed.

"Amy, Bumper isn't even at Barden anymore!" Aubrey said.

"I'll find him," Fat Amy said with a nod.

Emily was the last one to arrive, the only one left was Beca and she usually wasn't one to be late.

"Emily, where's Beca?" Stacie asked.

"Beca? Oh, I don't know, she didn't come to the cabin," Emily said.

"She stayed with the Buzztones after we left," Cynthia Rose said.

"She wasn't with you guys?" Chloe asked Fat Amy.

"No," Fat Amy said.

"That's weird," Chloe frowned.

"Maybe she's on her way or she decided to skip dinner," Stacie suggested with a shrug. They had only started getting to know Beca, nobody really knew if that was a possibility.

Dinner lasted for a while, after that, the groups sat around a big fireplace on the edge of the lake, all singing, drinking a little, just having fun.

The girls from the CrescenDudes were very fun, they said the guys were, in fact, major jerks and they were leaving the group once spring break was over. They joined because they thought it'd be fun, but they were constantly harassed or watching other girls get harassed.

"We're so sorry about them, we saw them grab your butt today at the waterslide," a brunette one said to Chloe.

"Thanks, I know it's not your fault," Chloe said.

"We know they'd been hitting on the girls from the other teams since we got here," the same girl said.

"Yeah, Steve was pretty pissed when your Bella punched him," another girl, a smaller one with glasses, said.

"Wait, what?" Aubrey said, confused.

"Yeah, the night of that first aca-party, a small girl came to find him and punched the daylights out of him for grabbing.. is it Audrey?" the same girl with the glasses asked Aubrey.

"Aubrey," Aubrey corrected with a smile.

"Who punched him?" Stacie asked.

"I don't know, she was very small but feisty, I've never seen a girl take a guy like that," the girl said.

Aubrey looked at Chloe with a look. Beca had punched him, that was why she had bruises on her hand.

"Beca punched him?" Aubrey asked.

"Wait," Chloe said, her eyes going wide. "Beca saw the altercation today with that guy, Lance."

"She was watching it?" Aubrey asked.

"Yes," Chloe gave her a look.

"Guys, you should go find her, we haven't seen Lance and his friend, Kyle, since the riff off," the first girl, the small brunette said.

The Bellas jumped out of their seats, leaving their drinks behind and running back to the main camp, not knowing where to look.

"Anyone know where the CrescenDudes are staying?" Stacie asked.

"Stacie, you and Flo go get one of the counselors, they're probably in the cafeteria," Aubrey said. "Fat Amy, you and Emily go back to your cabin to see if Beca's there. The rest of us will go to the CrescenDudes' cabins to try and find them."

The girls nodded, all running in opposite directions. Chloe had no idea where the girl could possibly be, so she didn't know where she wished she could go, but the thought of someone hurting Beca made her chest feel a lot tighter and her throat almost closed up the way it does when you're about to cry.

They got to the cabins the CrescenDudes were staying in, but they were more than surprised to find it empty. The girls all looked at Aubrey for an answer.

"Alright, let's look in the cafeteria," Aubrey said. Knowing her the way she did, Chloe knew she was probably throwing in some ideas, she wasn't used to her plan A not working.

The Bellas almost ran into Stacie and Flo, who were leaving the cafeteria followed by two counselors.

"The dudes weren't there!" Aubrey said.

"We're going to the cabins," Stacie nodded.

"Let's just hope they didn't go on the trails!" Aubrey said as everybody was running.

As they approached the cabin, they saw the lights were on and the door was closed, so they hurried inside. Only Aubrey, Stacie and Chloe made it inside, the others didn't really fit, the cabin was only so big.

When they opened the door and looked inside, Fat Amy was sitting on the foot of Beca's bed, Emily was sitting on the floor, holding the small brunette's hand. Beca was a horrible sight, to say the least.

The space above her left eye, right across her eyebrow, had a long cut and it was swollen, causing her left eye to shut, it was red and bloody. Her nose was bleeding like a faucet, it was dripping on her clothes and mouth, which was busted on the left corner of her lower lip so that, too, was swollen. Her left hand had bleeding and swollen knuckles. She coughed when the Bellas came in and spit blood onto her bedspread.

Chloe had to cover her shaking mouth, tears starting to fill the corners of her eyes.

"Holy shit, Beca," Aubrey found herself saying. "Did that Lance guy do this to you?"

"Him and some Kyle dude," Beca nodded, coughing again.

"Miss, we will see that the guys are held accountable," one of the counselors said. "We will have them in custody as soon as possible."

The other counselor was outside the cabin talking in a walkie talkie, seeing that the guys were found and held in custody. They couldn't be arrested because there weren't any cops around but they did have a cabin to hold people if they needed.

"We have a doctor in the camp, we'll have him sent right away," the same counselor said.

"Thanks," Aubrey said with a nod and the counselor left with the other.

"Guys, I'm fine, if you think this is bad, you should see him," Beca said with a chuckle, which caused her to cough and spit more blood, groaning.

"Beca.." Aubrey said and she also had tears in her eyes.

"You punched those guys to defend your sisters?" Stacie asked, she looked touched but she didn't seem to be teary eyed.

"Of course," Beca said. "Like I'm gonna let some dude get handsy with my- with you guys."

Chloe smiled, knowing the brunette cut herself off as she was about to say 'sisters'.

"Awww!" the girls said, all giving Beca a group hug the best they could, but the girl groaned and whimpered in pain.

"Alright, alright," she said. "You guys can go rejoin your party, I'll be here to wait for the doctor."

"Alright! See ya!" Fat Amy got up, moving out the door, making the girls chuckle.

"Amy!" Aubrey said.

"It's fine, I told her to go," Beca said. "I'm not gonna break."

"You're already broken," Stacie said. "At least you look broken."

"I'm fine," Beca rolled her good eye. "I just need some ice and I'll be fine."

The girls didn't budge.

"I'm serious about the ice, guys," Beca said. Some girls chuckled and started leaving the cabin to get her ice.

Aubrey, Stacie and Chloe stayed, the redhead decided to take Fat Amy's place, sitting on Beca's bed.

"Beca, what you did was so sweet!" Aubrey said.

"And dangerous," Stacie said.

"But.. I wanna thank you and apologize for everything I've said and done to you," Aubrey said.

"I'm sorry, too," Beca said. "I know I'm not easy to deal with, I've got my issues."

"It's okay, it's all good now," Aubrey said.

Beca offered the blonde her best attempt at a smile.

A knock on the wooden door cut their moment off and the four girls looked up to see the counselor and another older looking guy, probably the doctor.

"Girls, this is George Jenkins, our doctor," the counselor said.

"Excuse me, ladies," the doctor came in and put down a bag next to the bed. He checked the brunette's vital signs and then started to inspect her cuts, stitching up her eyebrow, cleaning up her lip and inspecting her nose. "We don't have an X-ray here but it doesn't look broken. I'd recommend you check your hand, though."

Beca looked at her swollen and bruised hand.

"Any major pain?" the doctor asked.

Beca shook her head.

"Nothing an Advil can't handle, doc," she said. "I have it in my bag, by the way."

"Good, you should definitely take some anti-inflammatory meds, Advil should work just fine, if you feel anything else, please notify us immediately," the doctor said, standing up.

"Will do, thanks doc," Beca said.

"Take care, bye ladies," the doctor smiled and left with the counselor.

"Seriously, if you guys wanna go back to the party, go," Beca said.

"It's not a party, it's just your old campfire and drinks," Stacie said.

"You don't wanna come too?" Aubrey asked.

"I don't think so, I just wanna lay low tonight, thanks though," Beca said. "I wanna take a shower and get rid of these bloody clothes."

Beca made a visible effort to sit up, groaning in pain. As she put her feet on the floor she sighed.

"I'll stay with you," Chloe spoke up for the first time since getting there. Aubrey and Stacie looked at her and she nodded at them.

The two taller girls said their byes and went back to the campfire.

"Please don't let me spoil your night," Beca said, looking up at Chloe, visibly in pain.

"You did not spoil my night," Chloe said. "And you definitely could use help, you look like you can barely move."

"I'm fine," Beca said stubbornly as she got up to her feet.

"Well even so, please let me keep you company," Chloe said. "I want to."

"No problem," Beca said. "Where are these bitches with my ice?"

Chloe chuckled, watching Beca grab a clean towel and a change of clothes.

"Let's get going, I'll see if I can find them while you shower," Chloe said.

"Good," Beca replied and she and Chloe walked to the cabin with the showers.

After Chloe made sure the brunette had gotten into her shower, she went to find the other girls to see about her ice and found Emily bringing two bags. She offered to take them back and went back to check on Beca. She stood in the locker area and waited, listening to the water and the occasional grunt of pain.

Not too long after, Beca was back, holding the towel close to her body, her face looked much better without the blood but her eye still looked really swollen.

"Please don't watch me get dressed," Beca said.

Chloe chuckled and turned around, respecting the girl's wishes. She did hear her groan more than usual but it took less time than her shower before they were on their way back to the cabin, where Beca laid down again with a sigh.

"I just wanted to tell you, it was so impressive the way you sang at the riff off tonight," Chloe said.

"Thanks," Beca smiled before it quickly turned into a smirk. "I saw you staring."

Chloe blushed, feeling like a deer in headlights. She didn't know where to look and suddenly Beca's stare felt too intense, so she looked down and forced a giggle.

"You did?"

"Yep," Beca was still smirking. "At the lake, too."

Chloe, again, blushed. She found herself at a loss of words for the first time in a long time, but this time, she couldn't take her eyes off of Beca.

"You know, I have to say," Chloe finally thought of something to say. "I know the girls used to say you were heartless but that couldn't be further from the truth. You just showed us you have a huge heart."

Beca's smirk softened into a smile and Chloe smiled back. She almost jumped and had to look down when she saw the girl's right hand over hers, rubbing her thumb over knuckles.

When Chloe looked up, the girl had sat up and she was leaning closer. The redhead almost wanted to get back, make sure she wasn't imagining or somehow dreaming, but when looked down at the brunette's lips, she couldn't help but lean in, too.

Both girls closed their eyes seconds before their lips made contact. Yeah, there was a pretty swollen part in Beca's lower lip, but that didn't stop her from kissing the redhead. Of course, Chloe didn't want to cross any lines, fearing the girl might be in pain, but she was surprised it was Beca who ran her tongue over her lips and she couldn't help but grant entrance.

Goosebumps ran all through her spine when Chloe felt Beca's right hand slowly cup her cheek when her tongue started a battle for dominance with her own. It was hard to believe the girl had a busted lip, she wasn't kissing like she had one.

Chloe felt bold enough and wrapped her arms around the brunette's neck, bringing her closer as the kiss got faster. The butterflies were back in full mode with their big wings, but they were definitely not unwelcome.

As they pulled apart, Chloe kept her eyes closed for a second before she opened them to see Beca looking at her with a smile.

"Whoa," Chloe managed.

"I know," Beca said. "But can we try this again after my lip's better? I feel like I'm kissing with an extra lip."

Chloe giggled.

"That's fine," she said. "I should probably ice your eye and hand anyways."

Beca laid back with a small groan.

"Can you hand me the Advil in my bag? Should be in the smaller outer pocket," Beca said.

Chloe found it and handed her the bottle and a bottle of water from her nightstand. After the brunette had taken a couple pills she sighed again, examining her left hand.

"This hurts pretty bad," she said. "But I don't think it's broken."

"I hope the Advil helps," Chloe said, offering her a sympathetic look.

"Yeah," Beca said, with a small sigh. "Thanks for staying with me."

"That's my pleasure," it was Chloe's time to smirk and the brunette chuckled, catching on.

Beca shut her eyes and sighed. She looked peaceful at first but then her face contorted into pain and Chloe wished more than anything that she could take away at least some of her pain.

"Does it hurt too bad?" Chloe asked.

"My head hurts, so does my stomach," Beca said. "But it's okay, it'll all go away."

Chloe was impressed by her point of view, she was clearly in pain but for the most part was pushing that pain away or brushing it off like it was nothing.

"I'll probably have to skip any activities tomorrow," Beca said. "Or the next few days."

"That's fine," Chloe said. "You stay and rest."

"I said I'll skip activities but I'll still tag along to those I can," Beca said. "Hopefully swimming."

"Yeah," Chloe said.

It wasn't very long before Emily came back. A while after her, Fat Amy did and Chloe looked back at the brunette.

"I guess that's my cue to leave," she said. "Sleep well and get some rest."

Chloe smiled, squeezing Beca's hand before leaving. As she looked at the cabin she was approaching, a thought suddenly came into her mind: she definitely had a big crush on Beca and she had to admit that to her best friend and to Stacie. Oh, she so wasn't in the mood for their gloat.
