The Normal Date – Part 2

Wow. This took me forever to write. I'm sorry for the delay. I planned on getting it done a week or so after I posted the last chapter, but that didn't happen. My muse kept changing on me. So, this turned out to be a super long write and I had to split it up into two chapters. I hope that makes up for the lost time. Also please note, I rushed to get this finished so I could post it as soon as possible, therefore, there might be more grammar issues due to that decision, but I hope it's not too distracting. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Thank you for all the amazing reviews! They really keep me going. Truly, can't stress enough how much they help motivation wise. And Welcome New Readers!

WARNING: This chapter contains talk of SPANKING an adult female by an adult male. If this offends, do not read. There is swearing as well.

He could be a freaking Vampire for all we know. Dean's words played back in Holly's head like a record on repeat. In all of Holly's life, she could not remember a time being this utterly and completely wrong about something which in all fairness should have been perfectly harmless. But it turns out, by fate's twisted sense of humor, Dean was not only right about the possible danger, but he was right about the fact that Lucas was a Vampire. Holly was almost positive Dean just pulled that possibly out of thin air, but that did not change the fact that it was true. Holly could not believe how frustratingly ironic this situation was and how much she wished she had just listened to Dean.

Holly didn't know what made her pass out, but when she came to, she found herself tied to an old wooden chair in what looked like an abandoned warehouse building. Holly blinked her eyes rapidly in an attempt to restore her blurred vision.

"Well, well, look whose finally awake." Holly looked up to see a woman sitting on a metal table only a few feet in front of her. She had Holly's switch blade in her hand that she was using to pick out the dirt from underneath her finger nails. Holly's heart began to rapidly beat in her chest as she took in her surroundings whipping her head from right to left seeing nothing but high walls and pillars of concreate. The only light that was illuminating the large warehouse was form the moonlight that was shining throwing the broken and dirt covered windows that sat high on the walls. Holly pulled against the rope that was cutting into her wrists finding her efforts useless considering they only seemed to be tightening the more she struggled.

The woman glanced up at Holly narrowing her eyes curiously then hopped off the table and began to walk towards her. Holly held her breath staring at the woman approaching her. The woman stopped directly in front of Holly looking at her up and down taking in her appearance, like she was not sure what to make of her. Holly found herself averting her eyes towards the concreate floor, but that did not last long when she felt the cold metal of her own switch blade under her chin. The woman applied just enough presser to push Holly's chin up forcing her to look at her. Holly's eyes flashed with fear knowing just one flick of that blade could end her life. The woman, apparently enjoying that, smiled in response and removed the switch blade from underneath Holly's chin.

"Don't worry, doll. I ain't hungry." The woman announced which didn't give Holly any reassurance. "But aren't you a pretty little thing. Lucas sure knows how to pick 'em." The woman licked her lips and turned away from Holly to go sit on the table again. She looked really young, younger than Holly, but she imagined that was not the case. She appeared to be in her late teens and Holly felt a ping in her heart at the fact that she was changed at such a young age. She had an innocent face and with her long blonde hair and light blue eyes, Holly imagined that she lured a lot of unsuspecting victims into her clutches with ease.

"So, Holly. How was your dinner with Lucas?" The woman asked causally as she began to pick at her nails again. Holly remained silent having no desire to answer this Vampire's questions. She looked up at Holly when she didn't answer and just simply shrugged her shoulders unbothered by Holly's choice to remain silent.

"You must have made a real impression on Lucas; he usually doesn't play with his food." She said casually as she blinked her light blue eyes over at Holly wanting to see her reaction to her words.

Holly's breathing started to pick up and she felt her body swarm with adrenaline from the fear she was feeling. The woman looked at Holly for a long moment almost like she was savoring hearing her heart race, like it was all a game to her. "No need to be scared, baby doll. I wouldn't dream of draining you, well at least not yet." She said with a disturbingly mischievous smile that made Holly's stomach turn.

"Margret!" Startled, the woman jumped off the table onto her feet. Holly turned her head to see Lucas walking towards them. "Stop scaring her." He commanded seeming somewhat annoyed with her.

"Oh, Lucas I didn't mean no harm. I was just playing around. Her little heart his pumping a mile a minute." She said that almost like Holly's fear was humorous.

"Go." Lucas ordered giving her a displeasing look. Margret gave a huff, but obeyed hopping off the table flinging the switch blade shut as she walked away from them.

Lucas walked over and stood in front of Holly giving her a sympathetic look while Holly was giving him a contemptable one. He looked completely different to her now. He wore the same clothes and physically looked exactly like he was at the bar, but now Holly knew what he was and that changed everything. He was holding himself higher appearing almost suave and dignified as he clasped his hands behind his back showing his age. He was no longer the polite innocent college student; he was no longer trying to hide himself through deception and neither was Holly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to be this way." Lucas said sounding genuinely bad about the situation Holly was in. Although, Holly was not having much sympathy for the monster who lied and deceived her. She thought he was a good person who could be trusted, but it turns out he wasn't a person at all proving to her that normality was unobtainable to her.

Holly struggled against the rope cutting into her wrist giving Lucas a silent command that she wanted to be untied. "Regrettable, but necessary." He commented nodding toward her in response.

"I would tell you all about who I am, but you already know don't you?" Lucas said very calmly giving her a knowing look.

Holly nodded giving him a disdainful glare. "I know exactly what you are." Holly spat with clear anger in her tone. "A lying murderous blood shucking creep!" Her heart was pounding in her chest with furry and distress. How could she let this happen?

"Ah." He said evenly in contrast to Holly's outburst of anger. "So, my theory is confirmed. It seemed like we were both deceived in a way. You did not strike me as a Hunter. It wasn't until your brothers showed up that I had my suspicions." It was obvious he didn't believe Sam and Dean were her brothers nor did he seem all that upset about her being a Hunter either.

"Through all my years, I've never really known Hunter's to travel in packs, nor have I seen many women in that line of work. And trust me, I've lived many years. I am much older than I look, but then again you already know that. From the way you protested I'm pretty certain you are not sixteen years? Am I correct in my assumption?" He asked cocking his head to the side calmly waiting for Holly to respond. Although it seemed like he already knew the answer to his own question.

"It does not matter what my age is, you're going to kill me regardless." Holly said with anger still clear in her tone, but there was an unmistakable shake to her voice. Truth be told, Holly was terrified that at any moment Lucas was going to bite into her neck and begin to drain her.

Lucas continued to stare at Holly watching with his steel blue eyes that stood out prominently in contrast to his dark hair and pale skin. Holly shook her head at her stupidity. I should have known. Holly wanted to believe so badly that normality was possible and that she could jump from one reality to another, but it turns out she was wrong, dead wrong. A mistake in judgement that was going to ultimately cost her everything. She was never going to see Sam and Dean again. Her heart began to break at the thought as her eyes started to burn with tears.

"I have no intention of killing you, Holly." He said smoothly.

Holly head snapped towards Lucas immediately looking at him in utter surprise and confusion.

"You being a Hunter holds little consequence to me. I like you, Holly, truly I do. I've made my choice and it will be for life." He said confidently like what he was saying was romantic in some sense. To Holly it wasn't romantic at all, it was psychotic. It seemed like the words he spoke were the final seal to a contract.

The wheels began to turn in Holly's head and suddenly there was a stab of pain in her gut. He wanted to turn her and have her as his mate!? For all the research Holly has done on Vampire's she knew Vampire's mate for life and because of their low numbers they have been trying change more. But she had never heard them just picking some random humans for forever partners only hours after meeting. It was insane even for blood lusting monsters like Vampires.

"No." Holly mumbled in pure hopelessness and pain. Being turned was the worst thing she could imagine. She would rather die than become a monster. Tears dripped down her face. "I'd rather die."

Lucas sighed closing his eyes for a moment. "You may think that now, but you'll come around. Once it's done there is no going back, the only thing to do is embrace the fullness of immortality. You'll be faster, stronger and forever young. You'll experience your senses like you've never imagined you could. You'll be far superior to a human in every way."

"By killing innocent people." Holly added to his long speech of bullshit benefits.

"It's how we survive. It's what we eat. We cannot help that." Lucas talked to Holly as if she were a child he was trying to convert.

Holly shook her head in disgust at his excuses.

"You have a serious superiority complex." Holly scrunched up her face in repulsion and anger. "Thinking you deserve to live while everyone else is there only for your bloody appetite. You are the worst kind of monster. You know it's wrong, but you don't care. You make me sick." Two more tears rolled down Holly's cheeks as her emotions were eating at her heart. She was scared, angry and frustrated and the worst part of everything was she had no one to blame, but herself. Her stupidity landed her here and what hurt even more was the fact that she let Dean down and that's the last thing he will have to remember her by and she hated herself for that. How could she?

"For having such a low option of my kind, you fail to see your own blood lust. Hunters are not known for their compassion and righteousness. Pushing aside morality to reach one's goal to murder and kill. At the end of it all, don't you become a murderous monster yourself? Tell me Holly, how detached are you from the normal woman?" Lucas voice was calm, but there was an accusing angered undertone. He appeared to be restraining himself from showing too much emotion.

Holly continued to glare at him, but felt her face twitch in response to his words. She couldn't help but think how different she'd become over the past year being with the Winchesters. How much she craved the Hunts and how it had become a need, feeling almost addictive like a drug.

"From the way your…brothers reacted to you being on a date, it seems to me like you are on a short leash, my love. Is that enjoyable? Their manner suggests they are not concerned with your happiness, only their right to use you to pursue their obsession for the killing. How long would you endure that I wonder? Your character doesn't seem the type to bend so easily. Perhaps love forces you to endure suffering?" Lucas raised an eyebrow eyeing Holly with a knowing look that appeared somewhat angered by it, like he was jealous at his own assumption.

This angered Holly and she wanted nothing more than to punch this blood sucking freak in the face. How dare he say these things to her? How dare he saying these things about Sam and Dean? Holly said nothing hating the fact that Lucas was still talking to her about things he knew nothing about. It angered her greatly for him to talk about Sam and Dean in such a deplorable way. Her heart immediately went into defense mode protecting Sam and Dean from any faults they had. No matter what Lucas was saying Holly was convinced he was the one who deserved judgment and hate. Never the less, he was scratching the surface of Holly's wounds and she did not appreciate it one bit. In fact, she was getting downright livid which was, in a way, was a blessing as it was ultimately distracting her from the relentless fear that was consuming her.

"You know nothing about me and family." Holly spat through her teeth.

"And you know nothing about me and mine. Perhaps I should not speak anymore, it seems my observations have upset you. It appears I have struck a nerve." He didn't seem in the least bit sorry about upsetting her. He seemed to want to degrade her life and have her question Sam and Dean perhaps to get her to see him in a more favorable light. However, his efforts were proving to be in vain and Holly was seeing him anything but favorable.

"Let me get this straight with you, I will never be your mate." Holly declared with contempt as her bottom lip trembled from both her anger and sadness.

"Yes, you will. In time, you'll learn to appreciate me and accept your new form." He said with confidence and assurance looking at Holly in an annoyingly formal manner like he was talking about a business transaction rather than a forced violent destroying of someone's life.

"No, I never will." Holly said firmly, but found her voice shaking and tears once again sliding down her face.

Lucas lifted the side of his lip up giving her a half smile. "Never is a long time when forever is concerned, my love."

Holly's heart seemed to break at his words, but soon there were heavy foots step coming from behind Holly getting louder as they drew nearer bringing the adrenaline flowing back into Holly's body.

"This sent is familiar to me." Holly heard a deep voice express behind her. Holly frozen in utter fear and shock when the man appeared before her. Holly's heart dropped into her stomach immediately at seeing a face she'd never wish to see again.

The Vampire's face was full of shock and awe as he looked at Holly from top to bottom. He smiled like a great unexpected gift was placed before him. A small sense of humor played on his lips as he looked at Holly up and down. Holly's chest was raising and falling heavily as she stared up at him with both fear and hate. He leaned down slightly so that he was able to look into her eyes.

"Recognize me?" He asked licking his lips slightly as he closed his eyes and inhaled her sent which sent a cold shiver down her spin. He opened his deep brown eyes that were almost black which seemed all but fitting to Holly. He was demonic in his own sick way.

"Ivan." Holly breathed out. His eyes were as cold as the last time Holly had seen them and the intimidation she felt was just as prominent. He was the only one that escaped the nest Sam and Dean raided many months ago. It was the Hunt Holly would never forget. The one where she blatantly ignored Dean's order to stay in the car which ended in not only them nearly losing the fight, but Holly finding out Dean's motivational methods for following orders.

He nodded giving her a malevolent smile. "How kind of you to remember my name." His voice was gruff and condescending.

"You know her?" Lucas asked squinting his eyes at Ivan in confusion.

"Of course, she and her partners attacked my nest many months ago beheading all of my companions. In fact, if it was not for her showing up, I might have never made it out alive. So, I supposed I should thank you regardless of your opposing intentions. Though I have to say I am itching to tear that pretty little throat of yours out from where you sit…" Holly's breath caught in her throat and she froze in fear like a statue seeing a dark shadow pass over his face seeming like he had every desire to end her life right that minute.

"But I won't…there is no greater punishment then turning into what you despise. Am I right, Hunter? Killing you would be merciful and why would I show you mercy when you showed none to mine? I have no intention of ruining your happiness, Lucas. I have no objection to your choice." Holly's heart dropped into a consuming despair and she began preparing herself mentally, acknowledging the probability of being turned. Tears dripped down her now raw cold cheeks. She clenched her jaw together feeling a wave of nausea flow through her body from the overwhelming anxiety she was feeling.

"What nothing to say, Holly? No words to express yourself?" Ivan mocked cruelly having no trace of humor on his face. He had every intention of putting her through what she feared the most and was enjoying every second he could feel her heart race in fear. He was taking it in, like he was savoring her distress.

Despite Holly feeling absolutely terrified, she was angered by the monster's cruel intentions. "Go to hell." She breathed almost like she was out of breath, but there was clear anger in her tone.

Ivan looked over at Lucas and raised an eyebrow. "Brave, angry girl." He announced declaring her brashness to be problematic. "Not thinking of changing your mind, are you?" He asked seeming to refer to Holly's unrelenting stubbornness as not being a desirable trait. Which made sense considering they wanted to corrupt her in every way possible. Considering her personality, she wasn't a model candidate for this.

Lucas looked over at Holly who was trying her best to look at him with as much hate as her expression would allow her, but there was no denying the fear in Holly's eyes. "No. My feelings remain the same." He declared evenly.

Bullshit. Holly was not understanding this Vampire 'romance' in the slightest. She knew they chose a mate and they mate for life, but she knew nothing about how they just looked at someone and knew that's who they wanted. Like someone picking out an object it in a magazine. This was just another reason to hate these evil sons of bitches as far as Holly was concerned. Why in the hell did Lucas want her still? Did he think they are just going to live a happily ever after?

Ivan nodded seeming satisfied. "Very well. We must hurry and change her. When we are finished, we will leave immediately. The Winchester boys are undoubtably looking for their little ray of sunshine." He declared eyeing Holly like she was a little ant he wanted to stomp on.

"You think they will attack during the night?" Lucas asked seeming somewhat surprised if not a little apprehensive.

Ivan continued to glare at Holly. "For her? Yes. But regardless once she is turned, they will reject her. We will become her new family." Holly's heart felt like it had been stabbed and her mouth opened slightly and her bottom lip quivered. The realization of that fact hadn't sunk in until now. Once she was turned, Sam and Dean would have to kill her.

At seeing Holly's pained reaction Ivan smirked with satisfaction.

"It appears you have brought us a great deal, darling. Not only has Lucas tracked down a mate, but I get my sweet revenge on you and the Winchesters. Tell me, Holly, do you think Sam and Dean will accept you as a Vampire or will they cut off your pretty little head?" Holly felt her chest rise and fall in anxious huffs as she felt her anger towards the Vampire rise along with the searing pain in her heart.

Suddenly, Ivan jerked his head to the side startled like he had heard or smelted something that got his attention.

"Stay with the woman." Ivan stated with a fierce determined look on his face as he marched off away from Holly and Lucas.

Lucas looked down at Holly seeming somewhat dismayed, but in no way having a change of heart. It was clear in his blue eyes that he had every intention of going through with his selfish act.

"I have such bad judgment." Holly said in disgust with herself. It hurt to know that she could be so wrong about someone. She wondered how she could have missed the signs. In her heart Holly knew it was because she was not paying attention. She wanted to believe so badly that the date was normal she blocked out Sam and Dean's warnings as simple paranoia. She went on the date to feel more normal, to get away from the supernatural world for a bit. To feel like she could be her old self again, but it only proved that she was wrong and Dean was right and nothing she could do would ever make her feel normal again.

"How could you be so selfish?" Holly asked her voice cracking in pain. "You have no right to claim me. You know this is wrong. Why?" Holly was trying to rationalize the situation in her head trying to understand the monster she was facing, but it was proving unfathomable. Part of Holly felt sorry for him because his humanity was so far gone. Holly's mind went directly to Dean for some reason feeling in this moment she wanted nothing more than to be with him. Have him touch her one more time, smell his leather jacket and look at his beautiful stern green eyes just one more time.

Lucas looked down at her like she was a young child who was unable to comprehend things yet. "I don't expect you to understand, but when you are one of us it'll become easier."

Holly scoffed at the monster humorlessly and shook her head in disgust.

"Poor excuse for a man, but what should I expect you're not a man, you're a monster."

Lucas looked at her with a hurt angry express that suddenly seemed to freeze on his face as he was decapitated in one clean slice of a steel blade machete. Holly was splattered with blood and her eyes widened in surprised. The headless body of Lucas fell to the floor to reveal a blood splattered Dean behind him.

"Dean." Holly gasped in surprise. Holly felt a physical overwhelming relief wash over as her tense body relaxing somewhat at seeing him.

Dean face was scrunched into a firm scowl as he said nothing stomping over to Holly determinedly. He was breathing heavy no doubt from the adrenaline rushing through his body.

He immediately walked around the chair to cut her bonds. Once Holly was freed, Dean grabbed her and pulled her up to stand. He put both of his bloodied palms on both sides of her face holding her firmly. His eyes blazing with apprehension and concern studied her face searching for any sign that she had been hurt or was in pain.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" He asked in a fearful concern. His face looked like it was in pain and Holly wasn't sure she had ever seen that much fear in Dean's eyes before as she did right then.

Holly felt her stiff body protest as she attempted to stand fully upright, but nodded vigorously. "No." She choked out just happy to be with Dean again. Dean nodded in response as a clear sense of relief washed over him. Without letting go of her face, he turned his head to the side looking away from Holly for just a moment letting out a shaky breath which almost sounded like a masked sob. He turned his head back to Holly letting go of her face and immediately pulled her into his strong embrace. Holly squeezed Dean tightly burying her face into his neck. Dean's smell and touch was enough to make her heart ache with happiness. Tears began to fall down her cheeks once again as she felt Dean wrap his arms around her even tighter like if he let go, she would be taken away from him again. She felt safe in Dean's arms and at this moment she felt like it is where she belonged. She grabbed a fist full of the back of his shirt feeling her body shake with emotion. Holly bit her bottom lip as it began to quiver. Then she couldn't hold back the sobs any longer. Tears began to fall as she held onto Dean for dear life. She came this close to losing him forever.

"Alright, you're okay, sweetheart. You're safe." Dean consoled her soothingly and tenderly as he smoothed down her hair.

The embrace, sadly, didn't last long and before Holly knew it, Dean grabbed her arm and without a word began to march to the far side of the warehouse where there was a back door.

"Dean, there are two more. And…Ivan…he's…" Holly started to explain the situation, but Dean cut her off.

"I know. We took care of it." Dean said curtly with heat to his words without breaking a stride or looking back at her. He continued to march determinedly towards the back door and Holly could feel Dean's grip around her bicep tightening.

Once outside Holly spotted Sam by the Impala. Sam was covered in blood, far worse than Dean and herself. He was shaking his manchette in his hand clearly still filled with excursion from the fight. Holly grew concerned at seeing Sam, hoping none of that blood on him was his.

"Are you alright?" She asked immediately staring wide eyed at the man as Dean continued to pull her along at his pace.

Sam nodded breathing heavily trying to catch his breath. "Yeah, you?" He asked with concern.

Holly nodded quickly in response. Dean, without missing a stride, continued to pull Holly passed Sam towards the Impala. He opened the back seat and without saying a word pushed Holly inside none to gentle and slammed the door shut forcefully. By every passing second Holly was realizing just how pissed Dean was becoming. Now that Holly was safe Dean's concern was rapidly being replaced with anger in an astoundingly quick fashion. Dean marched to the front of the Impala and got in slamming the door even harder than before. Once Sam was in, Dean smashed the gas pedal and took off like a bat out of hell.

Dean appeared to be as stiff as a board as he stared straight ahead at the road not obverting his eyes one way or other. His broad shoulders looked as firm as steel. He did not once glace at Holly in the rear-view mirror which Holly was okay with because she was sure if their eyes met Dean would explode on her. She could feel the anger and raw emotion emanating off of the Hunter who was trying desperately to hold himself together and Holly was not going to provoke him by opening her mouth. To be quite honest, she was utterly ashamed of herself and didn't really have the words to express how sorry she was, so the silence was not unwelcomed. She knew wholeheartedly that Dean was not going to let this go unpunished and she was in for one hell of a spanking. At that thought, Holly's eyes welled up with tears and she immediately bit her lips to prevent sobs from escaping her lips.

Going out on a simple date turned out to be one of the biggest shit storms Holly had ever experienced in her life. Fate seemed to just reach out and slap her in the face on this one. Something that should have been harmless turned into anything but and now Dean was going to kill her. Because apparently his concerns were not paranoid at all, turning out not only to be extremely valid, but undeniably correct. And this bothered Holly tremendously at the unfairness of it all. She knew that it would only fuel Dean's further paranoia for her safety and Holly was almost positive Dean's grip would tighten because of this shitty happenstance. This should not have happened this way. It was supposed to be a normal date. But her life wasn't normal anymore and every aspect of it denied her the right to normalcy. Holly couldn't help but feel that in another place with any other guy this would have turned out just fine, but it didn't and now she had to face the reality of that.

0000

Dean was beyond angry as he glared down at Holly. His chest was rising and falling in an uneven pattern, his jaw was clenched tightly and his body was ridged as he paced back and forth stopping occasionally to run his fingers through his hair in frustration. Holly swallowed at Dean's actions filling her body with anxiety. If he was trying to calm himself down by pacing it clearly wasn't working. He had been doing that for over a minute which seemed much longer to Holly at the moment. She thought about speaking, but something deep down was telling her to remain silent fearing that it would not aid Dean nor her in the slightest. Her heart was in her stomach as she shifted in the kitchen chair waiting for Dean to explode at her.

Finally, Dean stopped pacing and turned to face Holly wiping his large hand over his ridged face which did not calm his expression in the slightest. He looked absolutely enraged. Holly stopped breathing for a moment taking in Dean's angered face.

Holly didn't think she'd ever seen him look so furious before, sure he got pissed at her all time, but this was different. His expression didn't seem just angry, it seemed very cold, almost hateful and accusing? Like he would look at a monster or a ghost or some evil son of a bitch, but not her. And that hurt Holly deep into her core. It cut her deep enough to leave that picture of his angered face etched in her memory. She thought that he must hate her. It was at this moment that she realized that she broke something in their relationship that Holly was unsure could be fixed. However, in response to the hurt Holly immediately put on a defensive front replacing her hurt with anger. She was not going to let him see her fold or show him how heartbroken she was at seeing him this way. Regardless of what had occurred, it wasn't done purposefully and he had no right to shame her for it. She felt enough shame on her own without his help. This all shouldn't have happened.

"Don't you dare say it." Holly meant to say it forcefully, but it came out more of a shaky gruff mumble. And if that wasn't enough to make her lose her fire, she looked down at her hands like the guilty woman she was. The forced anger she was feeling was slowly dissipating. Even though Holly was upset with what had occurred and the harsh look Dean was giving her, she was more hurt than anything and she just simply couldn't hide it.

"Oh, I'm gonna say it, woman. Because I don't want you to forget this. I was RIGHT! About EVERYTHING. You almost were turned tonight. You almost became a blood sucking junky. Do you understand that?! All because you didn't listen to me!" Dean face was red with furry. His tone was not just simply stern, it was exceedingly angry. Holly's eyes were wide staring at him looking for any kind of softness in Dean's expression, but found none. Holly parted her lips and felt her breathing stop.

"Do you even want to live? Because you certainly don't act like it." Dean growled the words his tone intense and his eyes narrowing in on Holly. Holly felt her throat become raw and her body tightening. Holly just stared at Dean sadly, not really hearing his words as she began to close in on herself with every passing minute.

"What? You ain't got nothing to say to me. No smartass remark?" Dean spat throwing his arms out to the side for emphasis. Dean scowled at her feeling his teeth grind.

Holly felt her bottom lip quiver and unmistakable tears lined her eyes. It didn't take long for one to drop down her cheek.

"Oh no. No. You don't get to make me feel like the bad guy on this. When it came down to it, you chose to trust a fucking Vampire over ME!" Dean's tone was filled with an angry hurt that he was not attempting to mask at all.

Holly was taken a back, she didn't really look at her actions that way. She just thought Dean was being overbearing and an asshole. But Holly could see where Dean was coming from and by the way she was looking at it now, it appeared she did choose Lucas over Dean. In Holly's mind, she simply saw her actions as a response to his overbearingness, not putting her entire trust in someone else. But right now, it was looking that way even to Holly.

"I…I didn't know he was a Vampire." Holly mumbled in her defense.

"I gave you the code word! And you chose to ignore it! I knew there was something wrong and I warned you, but instead of trusting me, you chose put your faith in a fucking stranger that turned out to be a Vampire looking for a mate. You put all of us in jeopardy because of your shitty choices. So, forgive me for not giving you a pat on the back for this one, Holly, I am pissed at you." Dean wasn't holding back and appeared to have no desire to. He was angry and wanted Holly to know it.

"Don't hate me, Dean." Holly muttered miserably looking down feeling a few more tears run down her cheeks that she immediately swiped away. She was feeling the low option of herself sink even lower. She felt horrible.

Dean looked at Holly firmly his face still ridged with serve sternness, but his eyes softened a little letting out a heated sigh. "I don't hate you." He graveled out calmly, but by no means free from anger. "But I am very very angry at you. You're making my job really hard, woman. Really hard." He was not raising his voice this time, but his voice was hard.

Holly felt a small sob escape her lips. "Am I just a job to you then?" Holly asked miserably.

"Oh, don't feed me that bullshit." Dean spat exasperated clearly angered at Holly for asking, what he thought, was a dumb question. "Just shut up. Okay? You're just pissing me off more than I already am."

"I'm sorry." Was all Holly could think to say. She was very very sorry, but she couldn't undo what was done.

"Are you, Holly? Or do you just say that to make yourself feel better so you can do it again next time the opportunity comes up?" Dean asked accusingly like he didn't really believe she was remorseful.

"Dean." Sam said gently trying to simmer Dean down, but it did not work one bit.

"You." He growled point a harsh finger at Sam. "Stay out of it."

Sam was standing behind Dean with his arms folded across his chest almost fading in the background watching the scene before him. Holly didn't get any sympathetic looks from Sam, all she got was a clear you have no one to blame but yourself look, if not simply I'm pissed at you look. Despite, trying to calm Dean's temper he appeared not in the least bit surprised to be told to stay out of it and just simply shook his head and said nothing else.

"I break my back trying to protect you and keep you safe, but all you seemed to do is throw it back in my face every time. Your reckless behavior is out of control, but you don't seem to care at all. Do you ever stop and think about how we would feel, how I would feel, if we had to face losing you?" His angry hurt declaration made Holly's heart ache in pain. She didn't want to be reckless or careless, but the more Dean spoke to her the more she was seeing just how badly she disregarded her safety and how she really didn't think about their feelings on the possibility of her dying. It's not because she purposefully ignored their feelings. She honestly just simply didn't see it and miscalculated her value to them and, most of all, herself. She felt selfish, immature and just plain stupid. How could she be this way?

"D-Dean I-I'm really am sorry." Holly blubbered out dejectedly.

"I'm sick of this, Holly. Really sick of this. You need to start listening to me. Because, and I am going to say this as simply as I can, I know better than you!" His declared with so much authority that Holly thought for a moment she was back to being ten years old again.

"Perhaps I'm too easy on you. Should I whup your ass with my belt? Huh? Will that work?" He asked frustration written all over his face. And there was every indication in his harden expression that he was seriously considering it.

Holly's heart dropped into her stomach and her eyes widened in terror at the very thought of Dean's belt coming off. Had it really come to that? He was mad enough to use his belt on her? She had never been spanked with a belt, ever. When she was a little girl all she got were small spankings and on very rare occasions her mother would pull out the wooden spoon, but she never got wacked with a belt. Dean's hand hurt exceedingly, and being the smart girl that she was, felt like a belt would destroy her sitting ability far worse. She had no desire to experience it. No matter how bad she felt about her actions, she did not want that.

"No." Holly whimpered out dismally. "Please don't." Her voice was quiet, but desperate.

"Then tell me, Holly. What? Because I am dying to know." His frustration was evident and his eyes were serious. Dean appeared to be getting desperate wanting to find a solution or do anything to get through to her.

"I-I don't k-know. I'm just stupid, Dean. I'm reckless and selfish and just plain fucked up. I…" Holly would have continued for she had a lot more flaws she could list at the moment, but Dean cut her off by grabbing her by the arm and pulling her up roughly to a standing position. Taken off guard, Holly had no time to comprehend much. Dean turned her to the side and gave her a very hard spank to the seat of her jeans making her jolt forward at the impact and there was an immediate sting that blossomed over her bottom. Holly gasped.

Ow!

Dean turned her back around so that she was facing him.

"Say one more word and see what happens." He warned almost daring her to speak one more negative word about herself.

Holly was all kinds of confused now, Dean was saying all these things that implied these negative things about her and yet he did not want her to say them herself. It made her ache with confusion and hurt. She didn't understand Dean. All she understood was Dean was angry at her and there was nothing she could do to make it right.

Holly thought about questioning Dean about this, but then stopped and shook her head seeing that it would be pointless, if not counterproductive. She wanted to know why it was okay for him to say negative things about her, but she couldn't. However, she felt that it would only lead to more arguing and confusion if not a sore butt for herself. And if that one swat she got was any indication of how pissed Dean was she didn't want any more of that. It HURT and she could feel his anger in that one hard spank. And knowing her mouth to be the way it was, she was sure to antagonize him into giving her another.

So, Holly settled for the obvious. "I don't understand you, Dean." Her words were full of hurt and confusion.

"Well join the club because I don't understand you either, Holly. You think you're the only one who's confused?" He asked showing his frustration as he let go of her arm. Holly pulled her arm in towards her body closing in on herself as she rubbed it slowly.

There was a long pause before Dean spoke. He sighed deeply letting out some hot air and looked at Holly gravely before shaking his head like he would never understand her.

"Take a shower." He ordered abruptly. "Get all that blood off of you. I'm going for a drive. I'm too fucking pissed to deal with you. But believe me, Holly, when I get back you and I are going to have an understanding. This end, now. You hear me? This is the last time I play nice." His voice was harsh and full of warning sending a shiver down Holly's spin.

Nice? He thinks he's being nice? All things considered she supposed he was in away. At least he wasn't kicking her out. Telling her to pack her bags and get lost. But there was a good indication that Dean planned on giving her a damn good spanking, but Holly couldn't help but ask anyways like the fearful child she felt like.

"Are you gonna…?" Holly trailed off unable to say the dread word.

"Damn straight. And you ain't gonna like it, but I'll tell you one thing. You're going to listen to me and you're never going to ignore a code word I give you ever again." Dean seemed determined in his declaration, almost like he was certain she would turn over a new leaf once she was punished. His assertion made her extremely uneasy and left a healthy dose of fear in the pit of her stomach.

Dean turned to square his body directly in front of hers folding his large arms over his muscular chest. He gave her a serious look that made Holly feel so much smaller than the man glaring down at her. "You don't think you deserve it?" He graveled out almost like it was a statement more than a question that he didn't seem to please about.

Holly sighed in a defeated hopeless manner. She wanted Dean to see it from her side of things and not jump to his testosterone driven solutions. "I feel bad enough…" Holly began in a pleading manner. "There is no punishment that you could give me that would work better than the guilt I'm feeling right now." Holly explained desperately trying to appeal to Dean through logic. It was true she felt extremely guilty and so ashamed for actions. "The punishment would do nothing, but make you feel better. Do you need to feel better?" Holly asked turning the tables on Dean in hopes that he would look at things her way and find that spanking her was not the right course of actions. However, her hope was short lived and shot to hell in one fierce disagreeable glare.

"The only thing that would make me feel better is you thinking about your safety. And I'll make sure of that when I get back. Go take a shower." He said pointing a demanding finger towards the bathroom door not taking his eyes off her for a second. Holly swallowed hard feeling a sense of dread wash over her as she knew she was in for one hell of a spanking when Dean got back. Not wanting to her punishment to start earlier then intended, Holly wisely moved her feet towards the bathroom. Holly walked past Dean deliberately making sure her backside was well out of reach of the Hunter's hard hands. Holly made it to the bathroom closed the door and wished to all that was holy that this was all just a dream.
