I hated how Teddy hid from Owen when she found out. So in my story she's telling him right away. And in my world Tom doesn't factor into Towens relationship.

Teddy sat on her bathroom floor. Two lines, two pink lines. She was pregnant. She didn't know what to do first. She sat on the floor paralyzed with fear looking at the three tests lined up on the tub all saying the same thing. Fuck she thought. She knew the baby was Owens. He was the only person she had slept with in the last year. It felt so good two. Too good.

She took a deep breath and grabbed her phone. They had fought. Oh had they fought a month before but he had to know. Owen had to know.

"Teddy," Owen answered on the first ring sounding surprised. She always texted first to make sure he was free.

"Owen," she choked out.

"Teddy what's wrong," Owen asked.

"I'm," she started, "I'm."

"You're what," he asked.

"Pregnant," she whispered.

"Teddy," he asked, "you're serious."

"I am," she said, "I just took four tests. I can show you."

"I believe you," he said, "but is it?"

"Yours," she replied, "ours. You're the only man I've been with like that in the last year. We'll do a paternity test if you're worried."

"We're having a baby," he smiled suddenly, all of his anger and hurt was gone.

"We're having a baby," she agreed, "but you're so mad at me."

"We both said some shit and a lot of it was true," Owen agreed, "but we're having a baby."

"It's not planned," she said, "I was told I could never have kids. That I had a 10% chance

"Neither was Alyssa," Owen said, "but Teddy I have to tell you something."

"Your back with Amelia," Teddy asked.

"No," Owen replied, "when I got home. I applied to foster to adopt. Three days later they placed a baby boy with me. His name is Leo. He's 6 and a half months old."

"So what does that mean," Teddy asked.

"Two kids," Owen said, "Leo is a cute little guy. Reminds me of Lyss at that age."

"Owen I don't know what I'm doing," Teddy said, "I found out an hour ago."

"First you have to go see a doctor and make sure you're healthy," Owen replied.

"I'm scared," Teddy admitted, tears running down her cheeks.

"Okay," Owen said, "Teddy we will be okay. We will make it work. I am going to support you however you need me to. What do you want to do?"

"Panic," she admitted.

"Okay," he said, "Altman you need a list. Doctor, no alcohol, eat healthy."

"Can I come to Seattle," she asked.

"Do you want to," he asked.

She nodded.

"Okay," he said, "we'll figure it out. Teddy, we'll work it out. Come stay in Alyssa's room and we'll figure it out."

"No guest room," Teddy asked.

"It's Leo's now," Owen said, "my mom helped me."

"You'll have the three you always dreamed of," Teddy said.

"Lyss, Leo and our baby. We need an L name," Owen said.

"Or an A to go with Alyssa," Teddy suggested, "Owen it's a human being. Inside me."

"There is," Owen said, "half of each of us. Teddy we're having a baby."

"Can you come," she asked.

"I need to ask the social worker about Leo," Owen said, "he doesn't have a passport."

"I need you," Teddy whimpered.

"I know," he soothed, "I want to be with you. How far along?"

"You were here a month ago for 48 hours," Teddy replied, "they had to have been conceived then."

"So 5 or 6 weeks," Owen guessed.

"The app I used says 6," Teddy replied.

"Okay so go to the doctor," Owen replied.

"Tomorrow," Teddy promised, "can I come?"

"Let me know when you have a flight and I'll be at the airport," Owen assured.

"Leo and your adoption," Teddy replied, 'you've always wanted kids."

"It will work," Owen assured.

"What do we tell," Teddy asked.

"You're not supposed to tell until 12 weeks anyway," Owen said, "we have time."

"We have time," Teddy asked, "your mom, Megan, Alyssa?"

"My mom and Lyss first," Owen said, "we'll have to tell Lyss. she still comes down for the day sometimes. She'll be happy to see you but want to know why."

"I have to quit," Teddy replied, "give my two weeks or two months who knows."

"Talk to a doctor then to the army," Owen replied, "I love you."

"I love you too," Teddy smiled.

"I want to hug you and be there," he said, "I might be able to swing another whirlwind and have my mom take Leo for a couple days."

"I'll work it out," Teddy whined, "but you'll answer when I call?"

"I want to hear from you every day," Owen replied, "that you and our baby are okay."

"Owen I can't do this," Teddy whined, "I don't know how to be with babies. I'm great with teenagers but I don't know how to do babies."

"We'll work it out," Owen assured, "and you'll come here."

"I'll get my own place," Teddy said, 'stay with you for a few days."

"Teddy," Owen said.

"I can't jump right into living together," Teddy said, "I know you have Leo and I'm pregnant but I'm not jumping right in."

"Stay in Alyssa's room," Owen said, "or we'll make the office your room, the basement spare room has a bed now."

"I need time to think," Teddy replied, "Owen I need to think."

"You do," he agreed, "Teddy, I want to be involved. I want to be part of all of it."

"I know you do," she sighed, "I know you. I love you."

"I love you too," he assured, "we'll make this work. Come stay here you can have your own room so both kids are in the same house. Our baby won't have to move back and forth and we'll take it at your pace."

"I need time," she admitted, "I don't even know when I can come."

"You have to see your doctor and then we go from there," he assured.

"A baby," Teddy repeated.

"A baby," Owen echoed.
