Chapter 7M
May slowly moved her leg forwards, steadying herself and Brendan. She was hyped up on adrenaline from the battle, and learning more information of her challenge. The sooner they could figure out how to reverse this, the better. And yet... she didn't know a single way to do it. For the first time, she realized that she might be bound to Brendan until they died. After all, only something that could bend reality would work, and now, that just couldn't happen. The legendaries and mythics by now had gained resistance to even a master ball, and they tended to only come when the world was in danger. May would rather be stuck like this for her life than to risk all of the earth just to make her life more convenient, and she cared enough about Brendan that she didn't want his world to be shattered either.
Suddenly, May became aware of the fact that she had just wandered into tall grass, a prime place for pokemon. She tripped over a rock, and when she glanced over, she discovered that she had actually tripped over a Seedot. May became aware of the fact that a wild battle was about to take place, and that she had no pokeballs to catch the Seedot.
May quickly shouted out "Gotta run!" and started to break into a sprint. Brendan was too slow to respond though, and she fell flat on the ground. She struggled to her knee, then with the help of Brendan, they got to their feet and ran, this time more coordinated.
Eventually, May got to a clearing. Her adrenaline was still high from the fall, but Brendan's leg gave out from under him, and May went down as well.
After a few minutes, May said "Aight, time to get back up." Brendan got up at that, and she realized he wanted to get her attention. She checked her phone, and he typed "Where do we go next?"
May smiled, and whispered to herself "Petalburg City"
Authors note: Ok, for once I got a ton of words out. Hopefully I can increase the size of these later.
