Chapter 9M
Quick note, from now on i'll put (M) in front of the name if the pokemon belongs to May and (B) if it belongs to Brendan because things have started to get out of hand. I want to name them what i've named them, ok?
May smiled as she gripped the only pokemon she had other than her starter. A Seedot that had seemingly gotten attached to her had chosen to follow her. May decided to check the genders of the pokemon she owned, and observed that both were male. She tapped the release button on the pokeball as Brendan tapped the other pokeball, and out came the two!
(M)Treekip and (M)Radot seemed to bond quickly, likely due to their shared grass typing. The two talked a bit, and May just smiled. Knowing that Brendan needed some help more than she needed to pay attention at the moment, she checked what he was seeing. She observed Brendan trying to keep (B)Radot from being worried, and grew worried herself slightly. She tried to hide it from her pokemon, but they seemed to sense her unease, and calmed her down. She smiled, and noticing Brendan getting ready to recall the pokemon, she grabbed one of the pokeballs and recalled the two.
May saw Brendan tell her "Let's get ready for the gym", and she propped herself onto her feet. She started to head towards the pokemon center.
