Chapter 16: Ryuki's World Part 2
Both Knight and Ryuki clashed their weapons against each other and engaged in close quarters combat and Decade and Ouja did the same as they threw an attack at each other while dodging.
Ryuki throws two punches at Knight, but the Bat-theme Rider parries his punches before he counters by kicking on Ryuki as he stumbles back.
Knight then jumps at Ryuki and kicks at him, and Ryuki dodges it by side-stepping as Knight lands and rolls on the ground before he stands up and punches at Ryuki as the Dragon-theme Rider parries and dodges his punches while backing away Knight as he continues his attacks.
Decade throws a punch on Ouja but he dodges it and counters by landing a kick on Decade's chest forcing him to stumble back. As Decade stops stumbling, he soon sees Ouja throwing a punch at him and Decade parries it in time and counters by landing a punch on Ouja as he stumbles back.
Ouja was rubbing his jaw as he glared at Decade.
"Big mistake there, buddy." Ouja said as he charged at Decade.
Ouja then throws in several ruthless punches and kicks at Decade, and Decade was barely able to dodge and parry them as he was being pushed back, before Ouja lands a strong punch on Decade's head followed with a kick on his side which sends Decade to stumble to the side while rolling as he stops on wall with his back against it.
Ouja then grabs onto Decade and throws him to the ground as he rolls on it, as Decade stood up on his knee and foot, he dodges an incoming downward kick from Ouja by rolling on the ground once again.
Knight manages to land a punch on Ryuki which forces him to stumble back, while Decade stood back up as Ryuki's stopped close to him as both Riders did a back to back with each other as they faced their respective opponents.
"Should've known this wasn't going to be easy." Decade whispers to Ryuki.
"Yeah. Especially given who our opponents are." Ryuki whispers back.
Dark Decade and Dark Yuji were watching in enjoyment while Shana watched in worry.
"Have to say they're putting up a good show." Dark Decade said before he turned to Dark Yuji. "Don't you agree, Ryuga?"
"Yes. This was indeed worth the wait." Dark Yuji said with a grin on his face.
"Yuji." Knight calls out to Ryuki before he opens his Visor. "How about we take this to the next level?"
"That's fine by me!" Ryuki said in agreement as he did the same.
Then both Ryuki and Knight inserted their Cards into their respective Visors.
[SWORD VENT]
Knight pulled out the sword from his shield, this is the Darkblade.
A sword popped out from Ryuki's Visor, this is Dragvisorzwei's sword mode, this is the Dragblade.
Then both Ryuki and Knight charge at each other and soon clash their blades several times along with a few blocks with Knight's shield.
Decade and Ouja were watching their sword fight as Ouja laughed.
"Nice! How about we follow their example?" Ouja said as he pulled out his Visor and then his own Sword Vent Card as he inserted into his Visor before closing it.
[SWORD VENT]
A sword flew to Ouja as he caught it.
The sword's blade was colored yellow and was in a spiral-like shape with a violet guard and a black handle. This is the Venosaber.
"Fine, if that's how you want to play it." Decade said as he drew out his Ride Booker and changed it into its Sword Mode.
Then both Decade and Ouja charge at each other before they begin to clash blades as well. Then all four Riders brought their swords in a bladed lock.
(Play Journey through the Decade by Gackt)
(Kamen Rider Decade, he has been given the power of a destroyer to destroy one.) (As the songs start to focus on Decade, who just transformed, standing in a white room filled with filming clips.)
(Miageru hoshi sorezore no rekishi ga kagayaite) (Yui covers Alex's eyes until she lets go. His eye zoomed in and was soon replaced with the camera, his camera, and later his DecaDriver which includes all 15 Heisei Riders including himself. His Machine Decader is shown parked in front of a pile of smoking rubble before, in the white room, Alex grabs one of the cubes and faces the camera.)
(Seiza no you sen de musubu shunkan hajimaru Legend) (The scene changes to a worn down warehouse with all Riders sitting but one at a time. Yui grabs a bottle and looks at it while Alex looks back. Ryu slumps back against his TryChaser 2000 as the silhouettes of the riders appear one by one. Setsuna throws the bottle down on the floor.)
(Oorora {aurora} yurameku jikuu koete. Tobikomu meisou suru Parallel world) (On one side the Dark Riders charge while on the other side the Riders of good do the same. The same bottle shatters as Alex looks as though he was about to collapse but not before his face changes into each of the Rider's helmets. Back at the warehouse all 15 riders lined up doing their signature poses and with Decade in the center but behind him was Yui.)
(On the road dare mo tabi no tonchu. Hontou no jibun jishin deau tame.) (All 15 Riders were in a circle and were fending off the Dark Riders as they were being surrounded by them. Alex is then shown on his bike getting his helmet on and Yui was riding as a passenger. Yui grabs on to him tightly before we see Decade showing off his fighting skills especially with the Attack Ride: Slash card. Soon back to the Rider, everyone was doing their best trying to watch each other's backs while against the Dark Riders.)
(Atarashii yoake e to tsuzuku michi ni kawaru no darou.) (Alex sits alone, exhausted and with tears rolling down his face until Yui was in front of him with his camera and offering the other to help him up. We soon see Ryu riding with Alex and Yui on their respective bikes. Back in the battle, Blade was having trouble with Glaive until Decade showed up and pushed Glaive away. Ryuga was about to use his strike Vent on Decade until Ryuki used his first which saved Decade.)
(Mokugekise yo Journey through the Decade.) (The Riders were helping each other trying to take down their respective foe. Soon Yui is seen with a smile in Decade's mind. But Decade focuses on the battle and helping his comrade's. Decade was soon on his bike driving out of an Aurora Curtain with pictures of the other 14 Riders in it and circled the logo.)
Both Decade and Ryuki continue to clash swords against Ouja and Knight respectively.
When Ryuki and Knight clash their swords they move away from each other, and Knight soon draws out his Trick Vent Card and inserts it into his Visor.
[TRICK VENT]
Knight soon created three copies of himself as they surrounded Ryuki before they each charged at him to attack. Ryuki dodges two Knights' attacks, and parries one's sword before the real Knight slashes on his chest which sends him rolling on the ground.
Ryuki soon stood up on his knee and foot as he drew out his Strange Vent Card.
"Luck, don't fail me now." Ryuki said before he inserted the Card into his Visor.
[STRANGE VENT]
Then the Strange Vent Cards change into a Ryuki version of Trick Vent.
"Yosha!" Ryuki cheered as he pulled it out and inserted it into his Visor once again.
[TRICK VENT]
As Ryuki stood up he created three copies of himself and then the four Ryukis and Knights charged and engaged in combat with Ryuki's copies against Knight's copies, and the Ryuki and Knight battled each other.
Decade clashes swords with Ouja two times which brings them in a bladed lock, and then Decade manages to bring Ouja's sword to the ground as he pulls out his Slash Card from his Booker and inserts it into his Driver.
[ATTACK RIDE: SLASH]
Decade then attacks Ouja with enhanced energy slashes, landing a few good hits before he finishes with a thrust on his chest, sending Ouja rolling on the ground.
As Decade lowered his sword, Ouja laughs as he stood back up.
"Nice! Now this is getting interesting! Guess there's no reason to hold back!" Ouja said as he pulled out a Card, and to Decade's surprise it was the Advant Card for EvilDiver, Raia's Contract Monster.
"That's…" Decade said before Ouja inserted the Card into his Visor.
[ADVANT]
Appearing out of the water from a nearby fountain was EvilDiver, a large mechanical stingray colored in dark pink.
EvilDiver then flies to Ouja as he jumps and lands on top of the Contract Monster as they head towards Decade and lands a slash on him before Ouja had EvilDiver turns back to Decade to slash on him again, and Decade dodges it in time as he rolled on the ground.
As Decade stops on his knee and foot, he looks up and sees that Ouja was circling around to attack him once again.
"If that's how you want to play it!" Decade said as he stood up and drew out his Fourze Card and inserted it into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: FOURZE]
Decade transforms into Fourze as Ouja's EvilDiver was about to attack him once again before D-Fourze dodges by using his jetpack to jump over both Rider and Contract Monster.
D-Fourze soon brings out a Form Ride Card and inserts it into his Driver.
[FORM RIDE: ROCKSTATES]
D-Fourze soon changed into his Rocketstates form and used his double Rocket Modules to chase after Ouja. Ouja soon saw D-Fourze flying towards him, and he quickly turned EvilDiver at him as both Riders clashed against each other as they flew in the air.
After their last clash they pushed each other back, and Ouja drew out his Final Vent Card and inserted it into his Visor, and D-Fourze drew out his Final Attack Ride Card and inserted it into his Driver.
[FINAL VENT]
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: F-F-FOURZE]
D-Fourze spins like a top and aimed a kick at Ouja as he flew towards the Cobra-theme Rider and Ouja did the same as he charges at D-Fourze to attack with EvilDiver, and both Riders' attacks clashed against each other which created an explosion between as both Decade and Ouja falls to the ground as Decade reverted to his base form.
Both Decade and Ouja soon stood back up as they once again faced each other.
"Not bad…Guess I shouldn't expect anything less from the boss's rival." Ouja stated.
"Thanks, but it means nothing to hear from you." Decade said before he and Ouja charge at each other and engage in hand to hand combat.
Three of Ryuki and Knight copies had destroyed themselves by each landing an attack at each other before the last ones were destroyed by the real Riders before they spun around and landed a slash on their chests which forced them to stumble back and both Riders fell on their knees.
Decade notices as he dodges an attack from Ouja before he turns to Ryuki and Knight in worry.
"Yuji…" Decade mutters before Ouja calls out to him.
"You should worry more about yourself!"
Decade turns back to Ouja as he throws a punch at him, and Decade dodges it and counters by punching on Ouja's chest forcing him to stumble back.
"Oh trust me, I am!" Decade said as he charged at Ouja.
Both Ryuki and Knight were panting as they slowly stood back up.
"Ren!" Ryuki shouted at his friend before he asked him this simple question. "Are you really that ready to risk your life?"
"Of course I am." Knight nodded.
"I see. Then you should know…I'm ready to do the same." Ryuki said, and while Knight was confused at first he soon understood as he nodded.
"Very well then. Let's finish this, Yuji!" Knight said.
"Gladly!" Ryuki said.
Both Ryuki and Knight soon pulled out their Final Vent Cards and inserted them into their respective Visors.
[FINAL VENT]
Ryuki and Knight assumed their stance as their respective elements appeared around their swords, and both Riders charged at each other as they roared and soon they clashed their swords which created an explosion.
"Yuji!" Shana shouted in worry.
Both Decade and Ouja stop fighting as they turn to the explosion that Ryuki and Knight had created.
When the flames and smoke died down, they soon saw the one who was left standing was Knight as he was panting and Ryuki was nowhere to be seen.
Shana's eyes widened in shock and Decade dropped on one knee.
"No…" Decade mutters.
"Yuji…" Shana mutters as she sheds a tear.
Knight had fallen on one knee as he reverted back into Ren, and saw Ryuki's shattered Card Deck on the ground in front of him.
They heard clapping and laughter above them and saw it was Dark Decade who was clapping while Dark Yuji was laughing.
"Very nice! That was very entertaining." Dark Decade said before he and Dark Yuji jumped down to the ground.
"Have to agree with you there." Ouja said as he walked to his master's side. "Still disappointed that I couldn't be the one who would finish him off. But hey, this is alright."
"You…" Decade growled as he glared at Dark Decade while tightly clenched his hand, and Shana also glared at him as well.
"Dark Decade!" Ren calls out to him as he walks to the leader of the Dark Riders. "I did as you ask! Now give her back to me!"
"Why of course, I am a man of my word after all." Dark Decade said before he snaps his fingers.
Then appearing next to Ren was the same mirror prison that entraps Shana and the others, and coming out of was an unconscious Eri as she falls to Ren.
"Eri!" Ren said in relief as he caught her, and saw that she was still alive as he held her close.
"Now as for you…" Dark Decade said as he turned to the other hostages. "Guess there's no need to keep you in there anymore."
With a snap of his fingers, the rest of his hostages were released from their mirror prisons as the ones who were unconscious fell to the ground while two of the Flame Hazes landed on their knees but Shana fell on her hands and knees.
"This isn't your style, Dark Decade." Decade calls out and Dark Decade turns to him as he stands back up. "First you've kept your promise to Ren, and now you're releasing hostages. Just what is your game here?"
"Oh I just wanted to give you guys a fair reward after you gave us a good show. Besides, this isn't even our end goal here." Dark Decade told them.
"What do you mean by that?" Decade asked, and Dark Decade smiles as he waves his finger.
"You'll find out soon enough. That is if you had the strength to fight, after what happened." Dark Decade told him before an Aurora Curtain appeared behind him and his followers before they walked into it and the Curtain disappeared.
Decade sighed sadly as he reverted back into Alex before he saw Shana had stood up and walked to the broken Deck that once belonged to Yuji.
"Yuji…" Shana mutters as she slowly reaches out to the broken Deck and picks up a fragment and holds it close to her chest as she was on the verge of crying.
Shana then glares at Ren who notices her glare as he turns to the Flame Haze.
"You…You!" Shana shouted as she stood up and grabbed onto Ren's shirt and drew out her sword. "You killed Yuji!"
Shana raised her sword to cut Ren down, but before she could swing it down…
"Stop!" Someone shouted as they grabbed onto Shana's wrist, she looked and saw it was Alex.
"You, why are you stopping me?!" Shana asked.
"To prevent you from making a mistake. Isn't that obvious?" Alex said.
"He's right, Shana." Shana looked down and saw that Alastor was on Alex's neck.
"Alastor…" Shana said.
"You know as a Flame Haze, it is your duty to maintain the balance, not to inflict harm on humans." Alastor told her.
"And do you really think Yuji would be happy to see you like this?" Alex asked, and Shana flinched before she glared at Ren and noticed the look in his eyes, and saw that he was also saddened by Yuji's death.
Shana closed her eyes as Alex released her wrist before she lowered her sword and let go of Ren.
Alex then looks at Ren.
"Well, do you have something to say?" Alex asked.
Ren lowered his head but gave his answer.
"Nothing."
Ren then stood up while carrying Eri in his arms before he left the Mirror World by walking into a nearby window.
Alex then lowered his head in sadness.
Dark Decade along with Dark Yuji and Ouja had appeared in the real world as they walked out of an Aurora Curtain and were now standing on a rooftop.
"So Ryuga, are you satisfied with this?" Dark Decade asked and Dark Yuji nodded.
"Yes, of course. I'm very grateful for this, Master Dark Decade." Dark Yuji said.
"Then phase one is now complete. Now to begin phase two." Dark Decade said before they saw an Aurora Curtain had appeared in front of them. "And just in time."
Walking out of the Aurora Curtain was Shadow Moon as he walks in front of his master and kneels before him.
"My lord." Shadow Moon said as he bowed his head.
"Shadow Moon. I presume you have found it?" Dark Decade asked, and Shadow Moon nodded.
"Indeed, I have. And it appears no one is guarding it." Shadow Moon told his lord and master.
Dark Decade smirks to hear that.
"Perfect." Dark Decade said.
(Meanwhile)
After leaving the Mirror World, Ren had brought Eri back to the hospital as she was now back in her room and was resting on her bed with Ren seated beside her to watch over her.
While he was glad that Eri was now safe, Yuji's death was still heavy in his mind.
Ren then looks at a nearby window and remembers Yuji's final words to him in the final days of the Rider Fight.
"Ren…Promise me…that you'll survive…"
Even to his death, Yuji still cares about Ren and thought of him as a true friend and wanted for him to live.
Ren soon brings out the Card Deck that Dark Decade had given him and thinks about what Yuji would do to stop him and his plans.
Ren tightly clenches his hand as he already knows that answer.
(With Alex)
After Decade and left the Mirror World with Shana and the others, they soon brought them to the studio.
Thankfully, the human hostages didn't receive any injuries and would appear there won't be any lasting side effects of being trapped in their Mirror Prisons. They were resting in the guest room and were under the watch of Saki and Ryu.
The Flame Hazes were in the main room where Yui had treated their injuries with some help from Yona and Inia.
"There, that would do it." Yui said as she finished applying a bandage around Wilhelmina.
"Many thanks." Wilhelmina said as she nodded.
Margery was lying on the couch using Marchosias as a pillow.
"Man…This day is just full of surprises. And I didn't have a bottle of booze yet." Margery mutters.
"Yeah, well, at least I don't have to listen to you whine about it! Hahaha!" Marchosias laughs and Margery hits him to stop.
"Shut up, Stupid Marcho." Margery told the Crimson Lord.
Alex takes a moment to take a picture of Wilhelmina and Margery before he turns to Shana who was seated on a chair while having a sad look on her face, and Alex figures that Yuji's death is still weighing on her mind.
Alex then placed a hand on her shoulder and the Flame Haze looked up at him.
"I know you're still torn up about it, but you have to keep it together. Yuji, would've wanted you to remain strong." Alex told her and Shana didn't say anything as she lowered her head.
Alex then turns to the two other Flame Hazes.
"You two wouldn't happen to learn anything about what Dark Decade's next plan is?" Alex asked.
"I'm afraid I haven't. I apologize." Wilhelmina said as she shook her head.
"Even if he did, I doubt I would even bother remembering it." Margery said as she waved her hand.
"I see." Alex said.
"Why would you ask that?" Yona asked.
"It's just something, Dark Decade, after he left." Alex said as he remembered Dark Decade's words earlier.
"Oh I just wanted to give you guys a fair reward after you gave us a good show. Besides, this isn't even our end goal here."
"You'll find out soon enough. That is if you had the strength to fight, after what happened."
"By the sound of it, that little fight with Yuji against Ren wasn't even his end goal, it was just to put on a show for him." Alex said and Shana slightly clenches her hands on her lap.
"That is indeed true." Alastor said. "After seeing what he was capable of, he would've killed us all right then and there, but yet he chose to let us live."
"Yeah, and the way he said it, it was like he was that confident that we won't be able to stop him no matter what we do." Alex said. "And I have a sneaking suspicion that somehow the Mirror World must be involved in whatever he has planned."
There was silence in the room before one of them decided to speak.
"Well, this talk is fine and all, but do you guys have any alcohol in here?" Margery asked which caused the others to sweat drop.
"Ummm…" Ken calls out and Margery turns to him. "I'm not sure if it's your taste, but I do have some fine sake."
"Oh…" Margery said as she sat up. "How 'fine' are we talking about?"
"The best and most expensive kind." Ken said with a smile.
"Alright, old man, you got my attention." Margery said as she stood up and walked to him and Ken soon guided her to where he keeps his sake cache.
Yui could only watch in disappointment before she shook her head.
"I really hope he doesn't drink with her." Yui said.
"You and me both." Alex said.
They then heard the door opening, they turned to the door and saw it was Seth as he walked into the room.
"Yo!" Seth greeted them as he waves.
"Seth! You're back." Yona and Inia greet him while Shana simply glares at him.
"Oh, it's you…" Shana grumbles.
"Good to see you too. Guess you're still mad about what happened between us." Seth said, and Shana turned away from him and Wilhelmina was curious what this is about.
"Glad to have you with us. So, I presume you know where Dark Decade was going?" Alex asked, and Seth nodded.
"It wasn't easy, but yeah I did. Also…" Seth said as he and Alex turned to the door. "How long are you going to hide there?"
The others blinked in confusion.
"Right, right, I'm coming." Said a familiar voice, and Shana and Wilhelmina's eyes widened in shock as they recognized it.
"Impossible…" Wilhelmina mutters in shock.
"It can't be…" Shana mutters as well.
The one who walked out of his hiding spot was someone who was very familiar to them all, and Shana shed tears of joy to see him again.
The Dark Riders, Dark Decade, Dark Yuji, Ouja, and Shadow Moon were in the Mirror World as they were walking on the road together.
They were walking for a while now, and arrived in the deepest part of the Mirror World which was the center of the city, and that's where they found it.
In front of the Dark Riders was a crystal-like pillar, and Dark Decade smiles at it.
"At long last I've found it. The core of the Mirror World." Dark Decade said.
"So this was your plan." Said a familiar voice.
The Dark Riders looked and saw it was Knight riding on a Ride Shooter had arrived before he stopped and stood up and faced them.
"Well, color me surprised. I didn't think you had it in you to come here again." Dark Decade stated.
"Just answer the question. Just what are you going to do with that thing?" Knight asked.
"Isn't it obvious to you? I'm planning on controlling it." Dark Decade answered.
"Nani?" Knight said in shock.
"Too much for your little mind to handle? I'll try to keep it short and simple for you. You see this little thing is the core of the Mirror World, the very thing that keeps this world together and as you know the Mirror World also helped give birth to the Mirror Monsters and the Riders of this world. So those who can control the core…" Dark Decade said.
"Can control both the Mirror World and Monsters." Knight finished.
"Exactly." Dark Decade said.
"But too bad for you, I won't let you do that." Knight stated.
"Oh really?" Dark Decade said, and Dark Yuji laughed when he heard that.
"Please! Don't make us laugh! There's four of us and only one of you. Or it would've been three of you, if you hadn't killed Ryuki, or have you forgotten about that?" Ryuga asked in a mocking tone.
Knight tightly clenched hand before he relaxed it.
"Yeah, you're right, and it might hunt me for the rest of my life. I don't deserve to play hero after what I did. But, if Yuji was here, he would stand his ground and fight you to the end. So I'll do the same right here!" Knight declared as he drew out his Visor.
Dark Yuji sighs as he shakes his head in disappointment.
"And here I was hoping to crush his spirit with that. But, oh well, what can you do?" Dark Yuji said as he brought out his Card Deck.
It was similar to Yuji's Card Deck, except the symbols on it are colored black and the dragon symbol on it has a more demonic look to it.
"Master, may I crush this fool?" Dark Yuji asked, and Dark Decade smiled.
"Only if I join in on the fun." Dark Decade said as he brought out his Driver and put it on, and Dark Yuji's V-Buckle appeared on his waist.
Dark Decade soon brings out his Card and Dark Yuji strikes a pose.
"Henshin!"
Dark Decade inserted his Card into his Driver and Dark Yuji inserted his Card Deck into his Buckle, and both Dark Riders transformed into their Rider forms.
Dark Yuji's armor was an exact copy of Ryuki's armor, except his armor and body suit was colored purely black and the eyes on his Visor was red, and has the same demonic dragon symbol on his head. This is Kamen Rider Ryuga.
Then Ouja and Shadow Moon walked to their side as they faced Knight together and the Bat-theme Ride assumed his stance and charged at the Dark Riders and they did the same.
Knight swings his sword at Dark Decade and he dodges by moving beside both it and Knight as he runs past him.
Shadow Moon soon swings his sword at Knight and the Bat-theme Rider blocks it with his Visor, and Knight pushes Shadow Moon's sword aside and lands a kick on his head forcing to stumble to the side.
Knight then spotted both Ryuga and Ouja standing in front of him before they inserted their Cards into their respective Visors.
[SWORD VENT]
[SWING VENT]
Ryuga's sword flew to him as he caught it and in Ouja's hand was Raia's Evilwhip.
Knight then inserted his Sword Vent Card into his Visor.
[SWORD VENT]
Knight soon wields his Winglancer in his hand before Ryuga charges at Knight, and the two clash blades a few times before they move away from each other.
Ouja then swings his whip at Knight and the Bat-theme Rider was able to deflect them using his lance but Ouja manages to grab hold of Knight's neck with his whip. As Knight struggles to remove the whip, Ouja manages to swing Knight around and smashes him into nearby walls before he throws him to the ground.
Knight was left groaning as the whip was removed from his neck, before he saw Dark Decade jumping at him for a punch, and Knight dodges it by rolling on the ground as Dark Decade's fist smashes into the ground.
As Knight stood back up, Dark Decade stood up and inserted his Blast Card into his Driver, and Knight did the same as he inserted his Guard Vent Card into his Visor.
[GUARD VENT]
[ATTACK RIDE: BLAST]
Knight's Contract Monster has appeared as it catches itself on his back forming a black cape known as the Wingwall, and Dark Decade pulls out his Ride Booker in Gun Mode and fires enhanced energy shots at Knight and the Bat-theme Rider blocks it using his cape.
After he had deflected his shots, Knight's cape took the form of bat wings as he flies at Dark Decade to attack him with his lance, but then Dark Decade changes his Booker to its Sword Mode and uses it to easily deflect Knight's attack and grabs him on the neck.
"Nice try!" Dark Decade said as he threw Knight up and slashed him on the chest sending the Bat-theme Rider rolling on the ground.
Knight was able to slowly stand back up and faced Dark Decade.
"So you still have some fight left in you?" Dark Decade sighed as he shook his head. "Honestly, why don't you just give up? Can't you see that this is all pointless?"
"Even so…That naive idiot wouldn't give up…So I'm not going to either!" Knight said as he pulled out his Final Vent Card.
Dark Decade sighed once again.
"Fine. Guess I'll indulge you just this once." Dark Decade said as he pulled out his Final Attack Ride Card.
Then both Knight and Dark Decade inserted their respective Cards into their Visor and Driver.
[FINAL VENT]
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DECADE]
Knight roared as he charges forward before jumping into the air and soon pointed his lance at Dark Decade before his cape took the form of a spiral shape spear as he charges at him, and Dark Decade jumps into the air as holographic cards appeared between him and Knight as he flew at him while aiming a kick.
When both attacks clashed against each other, an explosion appeared between them before both Dark Decade and Knight landed to the ground and then both Riders turned at each other…
Then suddenly, sparks appeared around Knight's body before he reverted back into Ren as he fell on his hand and knee.
"Like I said, it was pointless to even try." Dark Decade coldly told him as his servants walked to his side.
Ren was left panting as memories of Eri, Yui Kanzaki, and Yuji appeared in his mind.
"Eri…Yui…Yuji…" Ren mutters before he falls to the ground.
But before Ren could hit the ground, someone caught him with their arm. Ren blinks a few times before he turns to the one who caught him, and sees it was Yuji still alive and standing as he smiles at him.
"Y-Yuji?" Ren mutters in shock and the Dark Riders were also in shock by this.
"Nani?!" Dark Decade gasped in shock.
"Bakana…How is this possible?" Ryuga said in shock.
"I pretty much had a hand in that." Said Seth as he walked out of his hiding spot.
"Diend?" Dark Decade said before he saw Alex was with him as they moved to Yuji and Ren. "Decade…So you've lied about Diend running off on you."
"Are you that impressed by my acting?" Alex shrugged as Yuji helped Ren stand back up. "We've figured you wouldn't have let the hostages go that easily, so we figured it was best to play along with your little game. Thankfully, we had the right tools to fool you."
(Flashback)
After they left the hospital, Alex, Seth, and Yuji had returned to the studio. Alex went into his room as Seth and Yuji were waiting for him.
"I'm back!" Alex said as he walked down the stairs to greet them.
"So, care to show us the key item to this grand plan of yours." Seth said.
Alex smirks as he brings out a fake Ryuki Deck which surprises them.
"What the…How do you have that?" Yuji asked.
"It's a little something I made as a hobby." Alex stated.
But truthfully, this fake Ryuki Deck was actually a part of his Kamen Rider collection he collected over the years.
During Ryuki's battle against Knight, and Decade's battle against Ouja, Diend was hiding behind a wall as he watched the battle.
Then he saw Ryuki and Knight had inserted their Final Vent Cards, and were ready to attack.
"Guess that's my cue." Diend said as he brought out his Accel Card and inserted it into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: ACCEL]
Diend summons Kamen Rider Accel, and then Accel soon brings out his Trial Memory and inserts it into his Driver.
[TRIAL]
Accel changes into his Trial Form and using his enhanced speed, he dashes to Ryuki.
As Ryuki and Knight clashed their swords which created the explosion around them, both Riders were in a bladed lock and were on even ground, and that's when Accel runs into the explosion and grabs onto Ryuki and drags him out of it while leaving the fake Ryuki Deck in his place as Knight slashes it shattering it into pieces.
Then Accel brought Ryuki to Diend's hiding spot as the Dragon Rider fell to the ground before Accel disappeared.
"Hey, are you alright?" Diend asked as Ryuki sat up and rubbed the back of his head.
"Yeah, I'll live anyway." Ryuki said before he stood up.
They then saw Shana was going to swing her sword at Ren, which made him a little worried, but thankfully, Alex was able to stop her in time.
"Sorry, Shana. I'll make it up to you later." Ryuki said before he and Diend left the Mirror World together.
(End of flashback)
"Now all we had to do was to wait, and see what your next move was going to be. Truth be told, I was a little worried if you were going to fall for it or not." Alex told him.
Dark Decade is left stunned by this before he smirks under his helmet and soon starts to laugh as he places a hand on his head.
"Hahaha! Man, you sure fooled me. And that usually doesn't happen that often. Have to say this was really clever." Dark Decade said.
"B-But how were you able to figure it out?" Ryuga asked.
"Back when Ren said, 'what' he has to fight and die for." Yuji said. "We've figured something was up with that, and that's when we found out that you were using Eri as a hostage too."
"But, we couldn't risk doing a rescue because you might kill her and the other hostages. So we thought the best course of action was to play along with your little game and see how things would turn out after." Alex said.
"But that's impossible…You were that ready to kill each other!" Ryuga said.
"Yeah. But I know that Ren was ready to risk his life for the one he loves. So I wanted to match his resolve with mine." Yuji said before he turned to Ren. "Though I wish you could've held back a little."
"Well, I needed to make it look convincing as much as possible. But do you really think I would hold back otherwise?" Ren asked.
"Yeah, I guess that's true." Yuji nodded as he shrugged.
"But still, thanks and I'm glad you're still alive." Ren told him with a smile and Yuji smiled back.
"Dammit…Damn you, Ryuki!" Ryuga said as he glared at Yuji. "Why do you insist on fighting? You're not even the real Sakai Yuji, you're nothing but a fleeting existence! So why?!"
"Does that really matter if he's real or not?" Alex asked as he stepped forward. "One's existence isn't determined by their worth but by their actions. It's up to the person themselves to determine who they are, whether they're a copy or not."
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" Ryuga exclaimed.
"I'm just a passing-through Kamen Rider…remember that." Alex said as he brings out his Driver before the turns to Yuji, Ren, and Seth. "You guys ready?"
"Do you even have to ask?" Seth said as he brought out his Driver.
"Yeah." Yuji said as he brought out his Card Deck and turned to Ren. "You up for one more battle, Ren?"
Ren smirks before he brings out his Deck as well.
"Of course, I am." Ren said.
Alex soon puts on his Driver and Yuji and Ren's V-Buckles appear on their waists.
Alex and Seth bring out their Cards and Yuji and Ren strike their poses.
"Henshin!" The four Riders said one at a time.
Alex and Seth inserted their Cards into their Drivers, and Yuji and Ren inserted their Decks into their V-Buckles.
[KAMEN RIDE: DECADE/DIEND]
Alex, Seth, Yuji, and Ren transformed into their respective Kamen Rider forms and were now ready to fight the Dark Riders.
Then both groups of Riders charge at each other and engage in combat, with Decade and Ryuki against Dark Decade and Ryuga, and Diend and Knight against Ouja and Shadow Moon.
Ryuga slashes at Ryuki a few times and Ryuki dodges his attacks before blocking his next slash with his Visor as Ryuki pulls out his Sword Vent card and inserts it into his Visor.
[SWORD VENT]
Ryuki pushed Ryuga back before his sword flew into his hand, and then both Dragon Riders clashed their swords while dodging a few slashes and kicks from each other.
Wielding his Ride Booker in Sword Mode, both Decade and Dark Decade clash swords before Decade throws a kick at him and Dark Decade dodges it by moving away from his counterpart.
Dark Decade soon changed to his Booker's Gun Mode and fired at Decade, and he deflected them with his sword.
Then both Decades pulled out a Rider Card and inserted them into their Drivers.
[KAMEN RIDE: W/ETERNAL]
Decade transforms into Kamen Rider W and Dark Decade transforms into Kamen Rider Eternal, and both Riders charge at each other.
DD-Eternal slashes at D-W with his Eternal Edge, and D-W dodges it by jumping over it and lands behind DD-Eternal by rolling before he stands up and throws a few kicks at him and DD-Eternal dodges his kicks.
D-W then inserted his Form Ride Card into his Driver.
[FORM RIDE: HEAT-METAL]
D-W changed into his Heat-Metal Form and pulled out his Metal Shaft.
Then both D-W and DD-Eternal run to the side as they clash their weapons against each other.
Knight parries two attacks from Shadow Moon and Ouja's weapons and Diend fires at them but both Dark Riders deflect his gunfire.
Shadow Moon charges at Diend and slashes at him and Diend dodges it by rolling on the ground, and Ouja swings his whip at Diend a few times and he dodges his attacks by rolling on the ground once again before he stops and fired at Ouja landing a few good shots at the Snake Rider as he stumbles back.
"Cheap shot…" Ouja growled as he glared at Diend as he stood up and chuckled.
"You call it cheap. I call it skill." Diend told him as Knight moved to his side.
"Then let's see how you'll handle this!" Ouja said as he inserted his Advent Card into his Visor.
[ADVENT]
Then Kamen Rider Gai's Contract Monster, Metalgelas, appeared as it charges at Diend and Knight and lands a few strong hits on both of them.
Knight then swings his Visor at Metalgelas but it easily blocks it with its forearm and the Contract Monster slashes its claws on Knight's chest, sending him rolling on the ground.
Metalgelas then turns its attention to Diend before it charges at him, Diend fires at the Contract Monster but his bullets only bounce off from its heavy armor as Metalgelas kept on charging and hits on Diend using its horn which sends him flying before he smashed into a nearby wall and falls to the ground.
"Hahaha! Nice! I better thank the boss for giving me these upgrades!" Ouja said as he laughed.
Diend manages to stand back up.
"You're not the only one with a big brute in hand." Diend said as he pulled out a Rider Card and inserted it into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: TOUKI]
Diend summons Kamen Rider Touki as he strikes a pose and places his large club on his shoulder.
"The Buddha is calling, it's time for battle!" Touki declared.
Then both Metalgelas and Touki charge at each other as they clash their attacks a few times before Metalgelas attacks with its horn but Touki catches it by throwing his arm around and under the Contract Monster's horn.
As Metalgelas struggles to break free, Touki lifts the Contract Monster up and throws it to the ground and slams his large club onto Metalgelas.
With that Metalgelas disappeared and Touki disappeared as well.
"No way." Ouja said as he was stunned by this.
"Now then," Diend said as he faced Ouja, Knight moved to his side and Shadow Moon's to Ouja's side. "Where were we?"
Ouja roared as he and Shadow Moon charged at Diend and Knight, and they did the same as Diend fired at them.
Both DD-Eternal and Ryuga land a slash on D-W and Ryuki's chest respectively as they stumble back and stop close to each other. DD-Eternal chuckles as Ryuga moves to his side.
"While this was fun and all, I think it's about time we ended this. Don't you agree, Ryuga?" DD-Eternal asked, and Ryuga nodded in agreement.
"Of course, master." Ryuga said.
DD-Eternal then drew out a Rider Card and inserted it into his Driver.
[KAMEN RIDE: ABYSS]
Dark Decade transforms into Kamen Rider Abyss, a Ryuki Rider with light blue armor and a shark base helmet and Visor on his left arm.
"What the…Kind of Rider is that?" Ryuki asked.
"Trouble." Decade answered.
DD-Abyss and Ryuga pulled out a Card and inserted them into their Driver and Visor respectively.
[STRIKE VENT]
[ATTACK RIDE: STRIKE VENT]
Both DD-Abyss and Ryuga soon wielded their Strike Vents, the Abyssclaw and Dragclaw as Ryuga's Contract Monster Dragblacker had appeared behind its master.
Then boht Dark Riders assumed their stance and thrust both of their weapons forward firing a different elemental attack, Ryuga's was black flames and DD-Abyss a stream of high pressure water.
Both D-W and Ryuki blocked both attacks with their weapons but they were soon overpowered and sent flying as Decade reverted back in his Base Form as he and Ryuki rolled on the ground.
As Decade and Ryuki slowly stood back up, DD-Abyss and Ryuga were looking at them.
"Why don't you give up? This world will soon be ours now." DD-Abyss stated.
"Yeah, don't bet on that." Decade said.
"That's right. We'll fight to the end." Ryuki said.
Decade then notices his Ride Booker opening up and three Cards flew out of it as he caught them, and Decade saw they were the Ryuki Cards now unsealed.
"Just in time as always." Decade said before he inserted Ryuki's Final Form Ride Card into his Driver.
[FINAL FORM RIDE: R-R-RYUKI]
"This might tickle a bit." Decade said.
Two of Ryuki's Dragshields appeared on his shoulders, and Ryuki was confused by this.
"Huh? What's going on?" Ryuki asked.
"No you don't!" Ryuga said as he fired his black flames at both Decade and Ryuki.
Both Riders dodge it, and using both of his shields and sword Ryuki had changed form as his arms and legs bended in a horizontal position while his head bends to his back, and Ryuki soon took the form of his Contract Monster, Dragreder.
This is Ryuki Dragreder.
"W-What is this?" Ryuki asked.
"Our combined power!" Decade answered.
"Grr…Like that would change anything!" Ryuga said as he jumps and landed on Dragblacker, and uses it to charge at Ryuki Dragreder and the latter does the same as the two clash against each other as they fly in the air.
"Hmm…Guess I should've seen that coming." Dark Decade said as he changed back into his Base Form.
Dark Decade then catches a punch from Decade as he turns to him.
"You didn't forget about me did you?" Decade asked.
"Hardly!" Dark Decade said before the two Decades engage in hand to hand combat.
Ryuga made Dragblacker fire black fireballs at Ryuki, and he dodges them and fires back at Ryuga and Dragblacker and the black dragon swings its tail at fireballs to destroy them.
Then Ryuki Dragreder charges at Ryuga and Dragblacker, and Dragblacker attacks Ryuki by biting at him, and Ryuki dodges it by moving under Dragblacker's head and bites onto its neck.
Ryuki Dragreder then swings Dragblacker around before he throws it up and swings its tail-sword at the black dragon and cuts it in half destroying it as the Contract Monster exploded and Ryuga was sent falling to the ground.
As both Decade and Dark Decade wielding their swords were clashing their blades, Ryuki Dragreder flies towards them and as Dark Decade swings his sword at Decade, Ryuki changes into his human form and uses his shield to block Dark Decade's sword.
Ryuki then pushes Dark Decade's sword back and slashes on his chest, followed with another slash from Decade's sword and Decade lands a kick on his chest forcing Dark Decade to stumble back.
Dark Decade slashes at Decade and he blocks in time, and Ryuki uses that chance to slash on Dark Decade's chest before blocking an incoming slash with his shield and Ryuki pushed it aside and Decade slashes on Dark Decade's chest two times, and then both Ryuki and Decade lands a double slash on Dark Decade which sends him rolling on the ground.
As Dark Decade slowly stands back, Decade soon brings out Ryuki's Final Attack Ride Card and inserts it into his Driver.
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: R-R-RYUKI]
Ryuki changes into his Dragredder form and flies around Decade before he stops to his side, and Decade jumps into the air and Ryuki Dragredder follows by following.
Decade spuns in the air and aimed a kick at Dark Decade and Ryuki Dragredder spewed fire around him. Dark Decade blocks Decade's kick with his sword, and the two were on even ground, but eventually Decade was able to overpower Dark Decade as he broke throw and lands his kick on Dark Decade's chest which sends the leader of the Dark Riders rolling on the ground as he reverted back into his hooded form.
As Shadow Moon parries a slash from Knight, he soon turns to his lord and master.
"My lord!" Shadow Moon runs to Dark Decade as he stood up on his knee and hand before Shadow Moon knelt down to check on him. "Are you alright?"
Dark Decade smiles before he begins to laugh.
"I'm fine. That was only an itch at best." Dark Decade said as he stood up.
Limping towards Dark Decade was Ryuga in his civilian form, and Ouja in his hooded form had joined them as Decade, Diend, Ryuki, and Knight stood in front of them as they protected the core of the Mirror World.
"You've lost, Dark Decade." Decade declared, and Dark Decade huffed.
"This time. But, our battle is far from over. Until then, I suggest you get stronger." Dark Decade said before he snapped his fingers and an Aurora Curtain appeared behind the Dark Riders. "We're leaving everyone."
Dark Decade enters the Curtain first and Shadow Moon follows. Ouja sighs in disappointment.
"Well, at least I had some fun." Ouja said as he entered the Aurora Curtain.
Dark Yuji was about to enter the Aurora Curtain before he stops and glares at the Riders, before he turns away and enters the Curtain as well before it disappears.
Decade sighs in relief that it was over before he and the other Riders change into their civilian forms.
"Man, I was almost worried there. But, at least we won." Alex said.
"Yeah." Yuji nodded in agreement.
They then heard a cracking sound, and everyone saw it was from Ren's Card Deck as a large crack appeared on it before it shattered into pieces and disappeared.
Seeing that shock the Riders before they saw that Ren was fading away.
"Oh no, Ren! What's going on?" Yuji said in worry.
"I…I don't know…" Ren said as he looked at his now transparent hands.
"There's no reason to worry, Sakai Yuji." Said a voice that was familiar to Alex, Yuji, and Ren.
They looked and saw a man standing close to them.
He appeared to be in his 20s with black hair and eyes. He was wearing a brown trench coat with a gray sweater and wears black pants with matching boots.
Alex recognizes him as Kanzaki Shiro, the master of the Mirror World and the creator of the Mirror Monsters. Alex took a picture of Shiro.
"Kanzaki-san…" Yuji said in shock to see him.
"That Deck, Akiyama Ren, was using was a feeble copy at best. Every time he was using it, it was slowly losing its power. And now it has lost all of its power, he's simply returning to where he belongs." Shiro told them.
"I see." Ren said in understanding. "And chances of me keeping my memories are low, right?"
"Indeed." Shiro nodded.
Ren smirks, after all that he has done, this was probably a light punishment at best.
"Ren," Yuji calls out to the vanishing Ren as he turns to him. "It was great to fight by your side again. It felt like old times."
"Yeah, it did." Ren said in agreement, and Yuji smirks as he ready his hand for a fist bump.
"You may not remember this, but I might as well say it. No matter what happens, you and I will always be friends." Yuji told him.
Ren was surprised at first before he smirks before he fistbumps with Yuji and then he vanishes completely returning to where he originally belongs.
"Now with that done. Best that I return as well." Shiro said as he was about to take his leave.
"Wait, Kanzaki-san!" Yuji calls out and Shiro turns to him before Yuji shows his Card Deck. "Before you go, I need to ask. You were the one who left me this Deck, didn't you?"
Alex and Seth turned to him before Shiro gave his answer.
"Yes, I did."
"But why? Why would you do that?" Yuji asked.
"Because the world will always need a Kamen Rider. You were the only who has proven to use the Card Deck as a force of good. It's that simple." Shiro told him, and Yuji blinks before he looks at his Deck, he then smiles as he looks at Shiro.
"You know, despite everything you did, I'm glad to see that you've changed." Yuji said.
Shiro smirks before he walks away as he fades away, and Alex took a picture of this moment.
Alex smiles before he places a hand on Yuji's shoulder.
"Come on. Best that we go back as well." Alex said and Yuji nodded in agreement.
(Next day)
After returning to where he belonged, Ren had once again forgotten about being a Kamen Rider and the events that had happened yesterday.
Ren had visited Eri in the hospital as he was now in her room and was seated beside her while she was resting on her bed.
"So how have you been lately?" Ren asked.
"I've been doing better. They say I'll be free to leave once I finish my rehab." Eri told him.
"Really? That's good to hear." Ren said.
Unknown to them is that Alex, Yuji, and Shana were spying on them from a distance and they each had a smile on their faces before they took their leave.
Ren then felt like someone was watching him and Eri as he turns but saw that they were now gone.
"Is something wrong, Ren?" Eri asked.
"No, it's nothing. I thought someone was there, but it must've been my imagination." Ren said.
(Meanwhile)
Seth and his group were walking down the street as they were ready to head to the next world.
"So, I guess we're heading to the next world first?" Saki asked, and Seth sighs.
"Yeah, it does. But, it still sucks that I wasn't able to get anything out of this." Seth mutters.
"Excuse me." A voice calls out behind them.
Seth and his group stop before they turn around and see Wilhelmina behind them with a bag in her hand.
"Oh, it's you again. What do you want?" Seth asked.
"Nothing. I heard from my lady that you had tried to steal her sword from her." Wilhelmina told him.
"Oh that. Sorry but I couldn't help it. Once I set my eyes on a treasure, I have a bad habit of taking it." Seth said and Saki pulled on his ear.
"Come on, you could've at least acted a little guilty for it." Saki told him.
"Alright, alright, I'm sorry! Geez…" Seth said, and Saki let go of his ear and Seth rubs on it.
"If you still seek her sword, might I offer these as a substitute." Wilhelmina said and Seth turns to her before the maid throws the bag at him as he catches it.
Being curious about it, Seth opens it and sees it was filled with different types of items.
"What are these?" Seth asked as he pulled out a dagger and unsheaths it.
"Treasure Tools that I have acquired over the years." Wilhelmina answered and Seth raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? Is that so?" Seth said as he pulled out a monocle and placed it in front of his eye.
"Yes. While they don't compare to the Nietono no Shana, I'm confident they would be adequate for a man of your taste." Wilhelmina said.
"Okay, but what's the catch here?" Seth asked.
"Nothing. Just consider those items as payment for helping the boy." Wilhelmina told him, and Seth smirks to hear before he closes the bag of Treasure tools and carries it on his shoulder.
"Well, don't mind if I do then." Seth said before he turned around and left.
"Thank you." Saki bowed her head. "And don't worry, you won't see us again. Probably."
Saki soon followed Seth, and Yona and Inia waved her goodbye as they followed behind them.
"Are you sure this is wise?" Tiamat asked.
"I cannot answer. But at least we won't have to worry about that man coming after her again." Wilhelmina answered.
(Back with Alex)
Alex, Yuji, and Shana were now outside of the studio as Yuji and Shana were saying their goodbyes to Alex.
"So, I'm guessing you're leaving now?" Yuji asked.
"Yeah. My job here is done. So, it's to the next world." Alex told him.
"Well, I wish you luck then." Yuji said before he turned to Shana. "Anyway, we should probably go before we're late for school."
Shana gave Yuji a narrow look before he turned away from him.
"Don't think this changes anything. I'm still mad at you." Shana told him.
Yuji flinches to hear that.
"Seriously? Look Shana, I'm sorry that I've scared you like that. But we need it to look convincing to fool Ryuga and Dark Decade." Yuji told her.
But Shana didn't say anything as she walked away and Yuji followed her.
"Okay, I'll buy you all the melon bread that you want as an apology. How does that sound?" Yuji said and Shana gave him a narrow look.
"Really?" Shana asked, and Yuji nodded a few times. "Well, I guess that would be a start."
Shana continues to give Yuji a narrow look and he has a nervous look on his face before she chuckles at him with a smile and Yuji smiles back as he chuckles as well.
As Yuji and Shana were walking to school together talking while smiling, Alex took a picture of that moment.
Alex was looking at the printed picture of Yuji and Shana walking together as it was blurry and showed Shana with her crimson red hair and a small flame in Yuji's chest.
"Still blurry as ever I see." Ryu said as he and Yui were looking at the other pictures Alex had taken.
"Yeah, and even though I printed them myself." Alex said.
"Wait, you did? Why didn't my uncle do that?" Yui asked, and Alex rubs the back of his head.
"Now that I think about it, where is he?" Ryu asked.
"Well…When I went to his room, it was kind of…" Alex mutters before they hear laughter.
"Hahaha! Hey! Yo kids havin a partie witout me?"
They turned to the stairs and saw Ken had entered the room as his face was fully flush while having a goofy smile on his face and as he was walking to the three teens he was a little wobbling.
Seeing him like that caused Alex, Yui, and Ryu to sweat drop before they had an idea why Ken was like this.
"Oh no, uncle…You didn't drink with that Margery woman did you?" Yui asked.
"Wat? No…off cose nop…" Ken told them as he hiccups. "I swar to ya…I only drank too cubs wit that woman…But…I tink I lost cont whem we finished tat third bottle…But I have to tel yo kids…she was a fine woman who coud hol her liquor…You don see dams lik tat in Japan these days…But then agan…We ar in anther world so tat's to be expected…Hahaha!"
Yui sighed before she stood up and walks to her uncle
"Okay, uncle, let's get you back to your room so you can get some rest." Yui told him.
"Off cose…Bat, houw abot we gow too the nex wold first…" Ken starts before he slips out of Yui's hand by spinning around.
He then stumbles to the screen changing while spinning before he grabs onto the chain and pulls it, pulling down a new background.
The background showed a red magic circle, and Alex recognizes it as the one that Kamen Rider Wizard uses and in front of the magic circle and stabbed on the ground was a large sword and Alex also recognizes that sword as Sandalphon from the Date A Live series.
The bright and beautiful sun was shining down at the City of Tengu, and then appearing out of nowhere was a Sqacequake devastating a large area of the city, leaving only a crater in its wake.
Standing in the middle of the crater was a girl wearing purple armor standing on top of a golden throne.
