Konoha's Hospital

Karin Uzumaki began to wake up from her sleep. She swore that she was having a horrible nightmare. Seeing her Kaa-san die in her arms and some scary ninjas talking to her before feeling sleepy and falling asleep. And now she found herself waking up in what it looked like to be a hospital. The only thing she was able to remember was some ninja saving her.

While keeping her kaa-san alive long enough for her to say her good-byes. She didn't know what village the ninjas were from. But she was sure that she would be getting the information as soon as possible. While she waited for the doctor or nurse to come see her. Not long after she had those thoughts in came a doctor and a nurse with a clipboard.

"Hello there I'm Doctor Yamamoto, How are you feeling?'' Yamamoto asked the young red head as he was checking something on his clipboard.

"Huh, hi I'm Karin, so where am I? Where is my kaa-san at?" she asked a question instead of answering the man.

"You young lady are in Konoha. As for your kaa-san I'm sorry to say but she is long dead." The doctor answered her question as he waited for her to answer him.

She began to shed some tears before she went in a full blown sob. After a few minutes of sobbing she was able to answer. "I-I-I'm fe-fee-feeling well now, t-t-thanks for asking." Karin said while stretching out her limbs.

"So Karin, how old are you? When is your birthday? " Yamamoto-san asked the young red head.

"I-I'm ei-eight years old. I-I was born on Ju-june 20th." She replied to the doctor as she stuttered while waiting for his next question.

"Do you have problems with your eyesight? He questioned as he looked closely at her.

"Y-y-yes sir, ever since I could remember." She said as she fidgeted uncomfortably.

"I see, I see." he said while writing on the clipboard "Do you have any health problems? Are you allergic to anything?" Yamamoto-san asks, waiting for her answer.

"I-I-I don't know if I-I-I do have any medical condition. An-and I-I'm not sure if I-I-I'm allergic to anything just yet." Karin said when all of a sudden her stomach began to growl. She began to blush in embarrassment, as she slowly began to rub the back of her head sheepishly.

"I'm guessing that you are hungry" Yamamoto-san asked as he smiled at her, while she nodded her head in agreement.

"Ok I'll have one of my nurses bring you something to eat. Also I'm to inform you the leader of the village will be visiting you sometime today. He has a lot of interest in you. Since this is the first time we had more than one Uzumaki living here in Konoha. The Hokage will talk to you about your fellow clansmen. Ok Karin, have a good day and both adults left the room. Leaving her alone with new thoughts.

"Ther-there's another Uzumaki living here? Was the only thing she could think of before laying back while waiting for her food.

Hokage's office

When the Hokage and the Daimyo enter the office after the Anbu search the place. The Sandaime offered up his seat to the Daimyo as he went to make some tea for both of them. Once both men got comfortable in silence while drinking their tea. Soon after the Hokage began to do hand seals and place his hand on the desk. Activating the silence and privacy seals so they would have no eavesdroppers.

"So Hiruzen, are you going to explain to me now why I was not notified of this matter? The Daimyo asked the Hokage as he waited for his response.

Everything I'm going to tell you Daimyo-sama is one of many S-rank secrets and can not leave this room. If anyone is able to find out the truth about his heritage. Naruto's life would be in danger and he is not ready right now to protect himself. And we will soon have to watch out for the fourth shinobi war. And Iwa would be the first nation to declare war on the Fire Nation. For this reason we can't allow anyone to find out who Naruto Uzumaki's father is.

"I will tell you the simplified version for the sake of saving time that we both don't have today. It all started seven years ago on October tenth. That year the Kyuubi attacked the village and went on a rampage. But no one knew how Kyuubi escaped from its jinchuriki. That night my wife was the midwife of Kushina Uzumaki, the wife of my successor Minato Namikaze the Yondaime." As the Hokage explains, while seeing the Daimyo eye go wide with the revelations.

"Kushina Uzumaki was also the second host of the Kyuubi no kitsune. And the only time the seal is at its weakest, is when a female jinchuriki is going through childbirth. I don't have all the details of that night since I was at home reading a book when my wife was helping the birthing process. All I could tell you was something wrong happened and the Kyuubi escaped from the seal. When I heard the first roar from Kyuubi, I had a bad feeling that something terrible was going to happen.

By the time I was able to get some Anbu to follow me into battle. I saw in the distance that Minato was battling someone on the Hokage Monument. All I was able to see was a yellow flash and a blue chakra ball detonated on whoever it was. Finally the Kyuubi must have seen him and power up a chakra attack that was going to obliterate the Monument. The Kyuubi fired its attack but Minato was calm and began to do hand seals for a time space barrier jutsu. When the attack hit the barrier it vanished but there was a huge explosion in the distance.

Then Minato was able to land on the Kyuubi and teleported themselves away. We didn't get to see the battle, since Minato was able to teleport the beast away. Leaving me and the Anbu at a complete loss to where they were at. It took a moment for our sensor ninja to get a direction to where the battle was continuing. By the time we reached the area we saw a chain barrier in the distance that was made by Kushina.

When we finally were able to reach the battlefield, everyone could only watch in defeat, unable to help Minato and Kushina. Minato was finishing doing some hand seals, I recognized them for a fuinjutsu Shiki fujin. I tried to stop him, so we could switch places. But he refuses, sacrificing his life to stop the Kyuubi by making his newborn son the new host of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. He put the yang half of the Kyuubi chakra into Naruto hoping in time his son would be able to control the Kyuubi's chakra.

Not long after both Minato and Kushina passed away after saying their last words. I made my way to pick up Naruto, who had fallen asleep not long after the whole ordeal. That same night I held an emergency meeting with the council. I told them that the Yondaime defeated the Kyuubi but lost his life in the process. I immediately charged and appointed myself the Hokage once again, no one challenged it.

The Yondaime's last wish was for his son to be seen as a hero. He wanted me to tell the council about his son being a jinchuriki. But it didn't go as the Yondaime hoped, but I never told the council that he was Yondaime's son. And instead of giving him his fathers name, I chose to give his mother's family name, since most people would think he was just given that name by me. Immediately the people in the council wanted to put the newborn to death.

They began to say that Kyuubi was in human form and was going to destroy everyone in the village. Fugaku wanted to take custody of Naruto-kun, but I felt it was for all the wrong reasons. Some of the other clans wanted to adopt him as well, but I had to think about the balance of power between the clans and it would have caused problems. So to keep the secret of his heritage, I placed him in the orphanage thinking that no one would have spread the news that he was a jinchuriki. At the time it must've been pretty naive of myself to think the villagers would understand. He grew up in the orphanage for the first four years. Then I got him a place where he was able to live on his own ever since.

And that is everything about Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. I know Daimyo-sama I made many mistakes but I had my hands tied with all the political places that have been happening over the years. I am an old man that has been waiting for the right person to take my position as Hokage. The Sandime told the Daimyo, while feeling that he has aged at least twenty years.

While the Sandaime was telling him everything about the history of Naruto Uzumaki. He was able to see how old the Hokage really was now. And was also able to see that poor Naruto for being a Hokage's son and a prince of royal blood. He was never given the opportunity to be raised properly like a normal child. And to be treated worse than trash by most of the village, had to be hard on the young boy.

Once the Hokage finishes telling the Daimyo the story. The Daimyo was very upset with the villagers on how they treated the child. And all the injustice he had to go through in his young life.

"Hiruzen, If it wasn't for the fact there is no one to take your place immediately. I would have you replaced for negligence of an important child S-class secret be damned. The way it was handled was so illogical that I don't understand how you let that happen to a child. And only recently have you been seeing the boy as well." The Daimyo could only shake his head in disappointment.

There was a moment of silence when the Sandaime replied "I know there are a lot of things that don't make sense to me. There are things I've done for other orphans, but I can't understand why I didn't try harder to help Naruto." The Hokage told the Daimyo while the Hokage began to rubbed his temples.

The Daimyo thought about what the Hokage had told him when he came up with an answer. "Hiruzen, have you ever gone to check on to see if you are under a genjutsu?" The Daimyo asked while he was looking at the Sandaime carefully.

There was another moment of silence "No to be honest I never thought I would need to be checked out for that since I could tell if I was in one right away." The Hokage said as he had an uncomfortable look on his face.

"Hiruzen for being a powerful shinobi. Sometimes I find myself amazed that you would underestimate other ninja's. I get checked for all kinds of genjutsu and other ninja techniques if someone was trying to take advantage of me." The Daimyo told the Hokage in a matter-a-fact tone.

"I see, I guess I should do this sometime this week."The Hokage before he became quiet for a moment to gather his thoughts before he spoke again. "I have one more S-Rank secret I must tell you, Daimyo-sama. The Uchiha massacre was staged to look like a traitor for the goal to test his limits. But actually he is on a top secret S- rank mission to infiltrate a criminal organization to send us intel. Plus he stopped the rise of a coup d'etat and eliminated all conspirators that were involved." The Sandaime Hokage told this to the Daimyo, giving the man a sad smile.

"Ah right the very famous young prodigy Itachi Uchiha. Too bad you gave a young boy such an extreme mission for a thirteen year old. I think you were expecting too much from a young man. Too bad that kid could have been the future of the Hidden Leaf if you would have kept him in the village. I think you could have handled that a lot differently by putting all the pressure on a boy to kill off his family. It must have been one of those times you weren't thinking logically. Am I not correct Hiruzen." The Daimyo told the Hokage as he pondered on the fire lord's words.

"Yes, Yes you might be right with that theory but what is done is done. All I could do is move forward for the future of Konoha." The Hokage said while taking a sip of his tea.

So Now that we are finished with all the secrets here are you able to summon Naruto." The Daimyo asked and he took a bite of a cookie, giving an expected look.

"Okay I will summon him." the Hokage said, as he took down the privacy seals and summoned his Anbu back in the room.

"Hokage-sama, your orders?" The Neko masked Anbu asked her leader.

"Please get Naruto-kun, and bring him to my office please." the Hokage asked in a commanding voice

"Hai, Hokage-sama and she vanished in a swirl of leaves.

Konoha Hospital

Sasuke Uchiha growing up was a happy child. By admiring his nii-san for being able to put his mind to a task and complete it without trouble. He wanted to be just like his nii-san, so their father would spend more time with him. Everyone in the Uchiha clan saw him as the hope of the clan to excel where so many other Uchiha's have failed. Many people said that he was the second coming of Madara Uchiha.

But just like Madara Uchiha, his nii-san became a traitor just like their founding father. A deep hatred began to bubble up in his heart since the attack everyone in the Uchiha clan was wiped out and only he was the last surviving Uchiha. A tear ran down his cheek because he never got the chance to see his kaa-san. With all the bodies laying around all the carnage he truly loved his kaa-san. He only wishes to see her again. And to ask her so many questions he couldn't understand yet. And the main question was why did his nii-san kill the clan. Sasuke closed his eyes and took a shaky breath. He could see it all the people in the road laying there lifeless, blood was all around them. It was just a horrible scene, something he hoped to be able to forget. But the words that his nii-san told him will haunt him till the day he is able to kill him.

Flashback

"If you awaken the mangekyo sharingan. You will be the third person to obtain the mangekyo sharingan including myself. To ensure that happens, that is enough reason to let you live." Itachi took a step and turned his back on Sasuke. Making him gasp from his nii-san sudden movements. When itachi saw this he only shook his head in disappointment, before speaking again.

"Oh don't worry there is no value in killing you now Sasuke. Foolish little brother. If you wish to kill me one day, resent me, hate me, and survive in obscurity. Run..and keep running. Surviving in such an unsightly manner as this, by all means, and cling to your wretched life. Then one day come before me with the same eyes that I possess.

Flashback End

He closed his eyes once again when he heard a knock on the door. Sasuke didn't even bother to answer. When the door opened slowly Sasuke's kaa-san took a few steps in the room. She stood there at the door entrance and watched her youngest son, ignoring everything just looking out the window. She was holding some flowers, when she finally spoke to get his attention.

"Sasuke-kun, you are finally awake. How are you feeling, my son?" Sasuke's mother asked him, almost snapping his head off to see that his mother for the first time standing by the door.

Sasuke jumped out of bed and ran towards his kaa-san giving her a tight hug. He began to sob as he held her tightly as she dragged him to place the flowers down. Then she put her arm around him and began to pat his head, as she started to cry as well. They stayed that way till the nurse came in and began to check over Sasuke's condition. The nurse could only smile seeing the boy finally showing some type of emotion. Since he was brought in since the night of the massacre.

"Hi there, I'm Sachi, I'm Sasuke-kun, who might you be If I may ask?" Sachi asked Sasuke's mother.

"I'm Mikoto Uchiha, Sasuke's mother, I came here the other day but he was still unconscious. So I left since I had to take care of other matters. So how is his condition will he be able to leave the hospital any time soon." The Uchiha Matriarch asked as she waited patiently if the nurse had anything important to tell her about her son.

"Yes, he has a mental trauma, has been having extreme nightmares, he is very detached with the world at times. Physically he is fine, but I recommend him see a therapist. But if for some reason that doesn't work you could always have a Yamanaka look over him to tell you what would be best to treat him." Sachi explained things to Sasuke's mother, she nodded head in understanding.

"Thank you Sachi-san for watching over my son." The Uchiha Matriarch said, giving Sachi a small bow.

"You welcome Uchiha-sama." Sachi said with a smile, then she walked out to give them some privacy.

"Sasuke-kun you're feeling well to go back home? I really hope you are able too. I need my little protector to escort me home." Sasuke's mother said, giving her son a happy smile.

"I feel better kaa-san don't worry about me. I will become stronger to protect you since you are all I have left from the Uchiha clan." Sasuke told his mother, feeling really over protective over her.

There are many things that you still don't know. That I still have to explain to you Sasuke-kun. But I will inform you back at home." Sasuke's mother told her son, getting a nod from him as he put on his clean clothes. Once he finished both mother and son left the hospital holding hands.

Heading to Hokage Office

Naruto Uzumaki has been improving in his ninja skills. But he almost forgot his lesson with Hokage-jiji on fuinjutsu. So he rushed out of the hideout and began to make his way to the Hokage office. Since he began to workout and run a lot he was about to feel how he was becoming stronger. The thought of it only excited the blond on how much he has accomplished.

But Naruto's master plan was first to learn fuinjutsu. So he would be able to use them for his pranks. Oh the wonderful evil plan to prank people to keep them in line. First he needs to find out if certain seals exist. And once he is able to get his answer he would learn those seals he would be using.

Naruto doesn't have to become a seal master right away. But it wouldn't hurt to try in the future. It was his goal to be as good as the Yondaime. Shisui-sensei did say by setting up pranks and getting away with it. Could be thought up as ninja training in stealth and trap making skills when he gets older. His thoughts were interrupted when an Anbu appeared in front of him not having time to dodge, or jump out of the way he ran right into the Anbu. Naruto smashing his face into the person's body armor. And then bouncing off, falling on the dirty road. The Anbu could only shake her head at the situation she saw.

"O-w-wowl, Anbu-san, did you have to appear so suddenly when I'm running? My face hurts running into your chest armor." Naruto said while rubbing his face to lessen the pain.

While Naruto was rubbing his face, the Anbu crossed her arms under her ample chest before she spoke. "Hokage-sama, has summoned you to come right away Naruto-kun." The Neko masked Anbu told him as he got himself together after the crash.

Naruto gave a confused look on his face before recognizing the person that came to get him. "Okay Neko-neechan, I was actually on my way to see him for my lessons." Naruto replied while dusting himself.

"Very well come Naruto-kun, I'll be taking us there quickly with my jutsu." the Neko masked Anbu told the young blond, He was about to say something when she placed a hand on his shoulder and vanished in a puff of smoke.

Hokage office

When they appeared they were in front of the Hokage tower. The Female Anbu signals for him to follow her. While they were working inside Naruto noticed a lot of guards dressed in samurai standing in attention. When they got to the Hokage office it was wide open ready for him to walk right in. When he finally stepped inside the office he knew right away that something was off. He couldn't put his finger on it but he just knew that something was about to happen today. Then Naruto put his fake mask on to disarm the people in the room.

"Hi there Hokage-jiji, I came for my fuinjutsu lesson today. Lucky for me that Neko-nee chan found me right away. And brought me here in a cool jutsu. It was awesome and fast. Can you get someone to teach me that by any chance?" Naruto said as he gave his foxy grin.

"Ah yes Naruto we could talk about that later. I was wondering if you could take a seat next to me if you don't mind my boy." the Sandaime said giving his grandfatherly smile to the young blonde

So Naruto did what he was asked to do. Since his jiji asked him nicely, as he slowly sat down next to him. When Naruto noticed that there was someone else sitting in his jiji seat. A look of confusion was clearly on the boy's face as he kept staring back and forth. From the Hokage to the stranger sitting in his chair.

"Ah who are you mister? And why are you sitting at my jiji seat? The young blond asked without reservation.

The Sandaime could only sigh in dismay while shaking his head in disapproval. The other man gave out a loud laugh at the kid's antics. He took a sip of his tea before he answered.

"Naruto-kun, I assume that you have never seen a picture of me? And I'm going to take an educated guess you never heard of me either? The Daimyo asks the young Uzumaki while he shrugs with an air of indifference.

"Sorry mister but I am an orphan and I really haven't been instructed in anything. Everything I've learned till this point has been with my own blood sweat and tears." Naruto said with all the passion in the world.

"Naruto Uzumaki, tell me if you had a chance to leave this village and move to a better place would you?" The Daimyo asked another question sidestepping Naruto's own question again.

Naruto was about to answer when he really started to think about the question that was asked of him. He began to think about the pros and cons but ever since his sensei told him of the people trying to use him in the political game. And to try to use him as a tool, was something Naruto couldn't allow anyone to do to him. It took him a few minutes to really think carefully before he decided on the answer.

"First thing mister, you keep ignoring my question." Naruto had a peevish look on his face, as he continued to speak. "And to answer yours I would rather stay where I'm at. Since I'm born in Konoha. My dream is to become Hokage in the future. Naruto said as he gave the Daimyo look of determination.

"I see, so that is your answer Young Uzumaki. You certainly remind me of your kaa-san for sure. By the way, I'm the Daimyo of Fire country. I came here personally to meet you since you are Kushina's son. You have royal blood from a powerful clan. But the Sandaime explain your whole life story and I understand your situation better.

Uzumaki-kun I wanted to inform you personally that I put you under my protection. If any citizen gets out of line they will be punished by my word of law. The Hokage will act upon the severity of the punishments. All crimes committed against you in the past will be investigated. If any of the businesses that done this are found out we are seizing their properties. They will be turned over to the Uzumaki clan, you and your guardian will have a choice to keep the business or sell it." The Daimyo said to the Young blond as he had a look of shock on his face

The Sandaime interrupted the Daimyo snapping Naruto out of his shock when he asked the young blonde a question. "Naruto-kun, I'm sorry that we are missing out on your lessons but today there was a very important council meeting today involving you. Naruto-kun there are some really important things I must share with you. So please Naruto I'm going to need you not to interrupt me. Because if you do I'm not going to tell you anything about your mother. So are you able to sit here and stay quiet so I could explain things to you." The Hokage asked and he was giving Naruto a serious look.

Naruto froze in shock to hear that the Hokage-jiji was going to finally tell him who his mother was. He had many emotions that were racing through his eyes. He has dreamt for this moment for a long time, wondering if his parents loved him at all. And he was the opportunity that he was hoping for. And for the truth to be uncovered as to who Naruto's mother is in the end.

"Ok Hokage-jiji, I understand and I won't interrupt you." Naruto promised the Hokage.

Once Naruto was able to calm himself down. He took a deep breath and waited for the Hokage to begin the conversation. Naruto saw how the Hokage looked over to the Daimyo for approval to continue. Once he saw the nod coming from the Lord of the Fire Nation, the Hokage began to speak.

"One of the secrets that we will be revealing to you is that you are from a ninja clan. The only problem is that your clan was almost wiped out during the second shinobi war. At that time we had two other Uzumaki's living in Konoha and both were related to you. First was your great-aunt Mito Uzumaki, her younger brother was the ruler of the island of Uzushiogakure. He had a daughter whose name was Kushina Uzumaki.

She was sent here to Konoha for a very special reason. Kushina Uzumaki was your mother Naruto who died after giving birth to you during Kyuubi's attack on the village. She was a jonin and a very powerful and feared kunoichi. She was powerful enough and had the will of fire to become a female Hokage. But what made her special was that she was from royalty. Since your grandfather was the Daimyo slash Kage of the island.

I'm sure you will have a lot of questions like if you are from royal blood? Why did you grow up as an orphan? But don't worry I'll get to that, and many other things." The Hokage pauses for a moment to take a sip of his tea, before continuing.

"I'm going to apologize to you at the time I was naive to think you would be safe and listening to the Yondaime last request. He wanted for the village to see you as the hero for holding the most power biju. Naruto the fourth Yondaime didn't kill the Kyuubi no Kitsune. He ended up sealing it inside the body of a newborn child. Naruto I'm sorry to tell you but you are that child.

To try to protect you, I made a law that if any adult talked about it or spoke to the children in your generation. About you being a jinchuriki, was punishable by death. Only myself, Hokage and Naruto Uzumaki are able to talk about it without repercussions." The Hokage told Naruto seeing him get a blank look on his face.

Naruto in the meantime got slapped with an unexpected surprise. But this one seems to be an even bigger secret than any of the other secrets in the whole village. He wasn't sure how to feel about what he was being told. That he had a powerful biju inside him and if he escaped would destroy his village and maybe the Elemental Nation. But now things were starting to make sense to him.

On why the villagers have always treated him badly, and how they blame him for killing the Yondaime. And killing many people during that night. But when you really thought about it he was only a baby, how was he supposed to hurt anyone. It didn't make sense to the people illogical thinking I guess he could only keep moving forward. He has already become desensitized from all the cruel treatment he's been through.

But he guessed it would only make him stronger than most children. Oh well in the end he was going to be a ninja and then in the future he was going to be the Hokage.

The Hokage and the Daimyo became a little worried for the young blond when he sat on the seat with a blank look as emotion kept running through his eyes and facial expression. They were about to get a medic to come to the office when Naruto finally snapped out of it.

"I understand Hokage-jiji. Please continue with your explanations." Naruto requested as he sat very still as this time he was paying attention.

"Ok Naruto-kun let me see where I left off. Oh by the way, try not to tell anyone about this till your future friends. Until they become mature enough to handle the truth. Since no one was allowed to tell your generation about who is the jinchuriki. That is the term some people that know about it would call said individuals.

Naruto! just remember that you are not the demon or a monster, you are a person, a human being remember that. Some of the more militaristic people would try to treat people like you as a tool. If ever someone comes up to you and calls you a tool or calls you by the term of jinchuriki. Try to gather as much information and bring it to me. No one is allowed to approach you in any such manner. You understand Naruto because I'm being serious. The Hokage said, giving Naruto a very fierce look on his face it scared him.

"Hai,Hai, I-I-I understand Hokage-jiji," Naruto said as he felt fear from the old man for the first time in his life.

The reason that all of this has happened was that some of my Anbu found another Uzumaki. It was actually a mother and daughter but on their journey they ended up in a battle zone and tried to make it to the Land of Fire. But in the process the mother protected her daughter from a kunai that had a paper bomb. The mother got mortally wounded and was kept alive to say her last words. With the information the mother gave she was able to die knowing she was able to secure a place to live for her daughter.

And because of that incident, I was forced to reveal this to you my boy. Also I didn't want you to find out from someone else that there is an Uzumaki clan. And I couldn't have you lose trust in me, I need to make sure to be honest and upfront with you. I'm sure there are people in the shadows that would try to make you hate me and the village, and I could afford for that to happen." The Hokage explained it to Naruto summarizing what Shisui-sensei told him something similar already.

"Naruto-kun, your clansmen name is Karin and she has red hair. All pure blooded Uzumaki's have red hair. You are half Uzumaki, but all that will be explained to her when you come with me to the hospital. First I will talk to her about some important information. Then I will introduce both of you so you could get to know one another.

I'm sure this is exactly what you needed in your life. Here is your mother's will. Feel free to read now, or later whatever suits you like best." The Hokage told the young blond, who was going through a roller coaster of emotions. The Hokage called for his attention for the next topic of business he had to explain to Naruto. He didn't know if Naruto would be able to understand the next topic. But they were about to find out.

"Naruto-kun, I have more to tell you and this could get troublesome for you. A council member brought up something I was hoping would have never been thought of. A law that was made by the second Hokage to help clans repopulate by the males having legal right to marry multiple wives. It is called the C.R.A and it stands for Clan Restoration Act. The elders for a chance to gain more power or gain leverage.

By choosing brides on your behalf in a loveless marriage. But I'm sure you rather pick girls you have some type of affection with to be your future wives. I know the elders will try to push you to this and try to have you married. And to begin to repopulate your clan as soon as possible. But thanks to the Daimyo, you will have to worry about that at this time. If you feel that you're being pressured, inform me right away so we could stop the harassment. So take your time till you are ready for that type of commitment. The Sandaime Hokage told Naruto all of this.

When the Hokage was giving the explanation of the C.R.A. Naruto lost all interest and looked like he was not even paying attention. During the whole explanation, he ends up having a blank stare. Not knowing the significance of the situation he was in. But then again when he gets older he will find out the hard way. The Hokage could only chuckle while the Daimyo could only smile knowing the privilege Naruto was going to have in the distant future.

Since they were talking about a topic the young blond didn't understand. He just wanted for this long meeting to be over with. The whole reason he came to see the Hokage was to start with his lesson on fuinjutsu. He felt like he got cheated for the day since he knew the Hokage was a busy person. The Hokage noticed that Naruto lost interest in their little meet and greet with the Daimyo. Sure enough he could bet all the ramen in the world. Naruto has been planning a way to leave already. When the Hokage spoke again.

"Naruto-kun, I'm sorry that we are missing out on your lesson today. So I'll lend you a fuinjutsu book for beginners. Naruto-kun remember to practice your calligraphy and to read. When you come back in a couple of days. I'll make it up for you and I'll add an appointment to spend extra time then. And I apologize this is taking longer than expected but it all has to do with you in a way." The Hokage said with a warm smile seeing his shoulder sag in defeat.

"Naruto, the last matter I'm going to be speaking to you about is about your guardians. In your mother's will she mentions the three people that could be your guardians. The first is about your godfather Jiraiya. He is a very powerful ninja of the village but he has been out on a mission for many years.

Oh by the way you godfather is here in town I recalled him back to be present in the council meeting. One of your godmother's was present as well. The other one well she is more problematic but I sent word to send her a message your mother left her. Maybe she will come back to the village. But you godmother she will be taking you in and will become your guardian.

She will oversee your finances, because you may be the wealthiest child right now in Konoha. Your mother pretty much is giving you a stipend of one million ryo a year till you are seventeen years." Naruto was so shocked to hear the amount of ryo he was getting every year. The only thing for him to do was faint.

The Hokage and the Daimyo could only chuckle to Naruto's reaction to how much he will be receiving a year. There was a gasp by the couch and thunk that came from the corner. And a yell of what the hell that came from the window. The Hokage and the Daimyo both look at the window and they see Jiraiya fallen over with anime tears. With a look of disbelief to what he just heard from the old man's mouth to his godson stipend.

"Sensei, why didn't you tell me he was going to receive that much. I would take him in without hesitation." Jiraiya said as he tried to make himself look more presentable.

"I don't know Jiraiya you would have taken all his money and maybe wasted it away on the brothels you are so fond of. You would have been a bad influence and might turn him into a pervert. And if Tsunade decided to come back and would see what you done to her godson as well. I can guarantee she would kill you without saying a word. She would cut off little Jiraiya, chop it up into little pieces, burn whatever left into ashes." The Hokage told his student, who looked in pure terror and the visual his sensei placed in his mind.

"Sorry to interrupt this little meeting but I think my time is up. I will be taking my leave and Hiruzen. I would like a progress report on Naruto please." the Daimyo said as he stood up and shook hands with the Sandaime and walked out.

Once the Daimyo left the Hokage went back to his seat and looked at his student. Then he asked if he heard everything that they were speaking. Jiraiya nodded answering his sensei question, then looked over at a passout Naruto. The Hokage looked over at Naruto when he began to speak.

"It is best for us to speak later. I have many other appointments I need to keep on schedule. I'll be taking Naruto-kun with me to the hospital to meet his cousin. If you want to join from the shadows that will be fine as well." The Sandaime told his wayward student.

"Alright sensei gives me a chance to do my research then." Jiraiya gave a perverted giggles before jumping out the window before he got hit by a kunai from the only female Anbu in the room.

The Hokage singal for his female Anbu to help take the young blond. She threw him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Then the Hokage and his guards left in a shunshin.

Uchiha Training grounds

After the massacre Izumi Uchiha was granted leave of absence. So she would be able to mourn the death of her mother. In a way she understood why Itachi tried to kill off the clan. The meetings that she went to were too radical, and couldn't understand why the clan didn't try to find a peaceful solution. Both of them were in agreement that the route the Uchiha clan was taking was a dangerous one. And should have tried seeing the bigger picture, if a civil war would breakout. But still there were so many innocent people that didn't deserve to die. Even if Itachi committed this horrible crime against their clan she still loves him. After reading the letter he left her, apologize for what he did to the clan. And mention in the letter his thoughts and feelings on everything that happens. He considered her a friend since she always made an effort to talk to him since they were little kids. And then he began to explain to her about his S-rank missions he was getting involved in. Telling her everything, and how he tried to stop the clan and their foolish actions. How he was not the only person that killed the clan. And had outside help from a person claiming to be Madara Uchiha. And he was joining a secret organization of criminals as a double agent once again. He asked her to keep watch over his little brother Sasuke, since the clan was all dead. And the reason he chose that night to kill off the clan was because he knew she was on a mission out of the village to save her life. He also told her to be careful with the elders of the council, mostly Danzo. He is not to be trusted, since he is the person that attacked Shisui and took his right eye. Shisui then gave him the last warming and committed suicide jumping of a ravine and a ignited a paper bomb and a flash bombs. He made sure his body would not be recovered by anyone trying to gain its secrets. He also said in the letter about the location of the stone tablet and the hand signs to go with it. If ever she needs to take shelter from danger then the Naka shrine would be the best place since you need the sharingan as well. And the last thing on the letter was that he would be sending her messages with a crow summon. And that he would like to update on Sasuke's progress. And how she was doing? And how was she progressing herself as a kunoichi? And when she finished reading the letter his p.s. Made her heart flutter and her cheeks to blush. Because it said

I'll miss having little talks and eating with you Izumi! Do your best to become a splendid ninja Itachi!

After reading the letter she put on a face of determination. And began to better herself to be able to protect the people she cared for the most. So

The last couple of days she has been training herself harder than ever. She remembers Itachi's suggestion when she first became a kunoichi. One of the many reasons she had feelings for him ever since he saved her life during the kyuubi attack. To improve her ninja skills without the help of her eyes. And in time you will find yourself more powerful than you could ever imagine. All you need is to practice from time to time with the sharingan to learn how to use it

Izumi knows she needs to improve in a lot of areas. But she is still not sure what should be her specialization. When it came to taijutsu she was better than the average genin. As for her ninjutsu, Izumi knew the basic three. As for her family jutsu, she was still learning the katon: hōsenka no jutsu because it didn't consume a lot of chakra. Since she didn't have the chakra for katon: gōkakyū no jutsu. As for genjutsu, she was able to dispel them with her eyes and the hand signs. She was able to do subtle manipulations to be able to confuse her opponents. She was still practicing her shuriken jutsu and her wire string traps.

Izumi is a beautiful girl with long brown hair that goes to her mid back and has long bangs framing her face. She has onyx black eyes, with a beauty mark under her right eye. While wearing a sleeveless high-collared purple shirt with the Uchiha symbol on the back. With baggy black pants, while wearing her shuriken holster on her right leg. She wears two fingerless gloves that run the length of her arms, as well she wore black ninja sandals.

At this moment she was practicing her katon: hōsenka no jutsu, trying to figure out how much chakra to put in. Then she was trying to figure out how many of the small fireballs she was able to control before losing control of it. She kept doing this as a trial and error until she was able to learn the jutsu properly. She did this for a while till she was low on chakra and began to pick her tools that were scattered all over the place.

Once Izumi was all done collecting her things. she began to walk back to her house, in the distance she saw a fellow genin her name is Rin Kato, is a slim teenage girl below average height with onyx black eyes. She has long onyx black hair which curls slightly at the ends, with two bangs framing her face and reaching down to her chest. The most distinctive trait is her white tip highlights. Rin wore a black sleeveless halter neck shirt with a midnight blue sash around her waist and dark grey pants with a shuriken holster around her right thigh, and long fingerless black gloves. She also had bandages wrapped around her wrists and footwear. She wore her forehead protector on her left forearm. When she decided to call to get her attention, she caught up to the small group.

"Rin, hey how are you doing today? So what are you up too?" Izumi asked her while she caught her breath.

"Hey just here with my family moving stuff to our new home. Uchiha-sama gave our mother a new job to help raise the babies. We need to live close by, so my mother could be summoned. We are going to be renting a house near here. So what about you? What are you up too?" Rin said while carrying some things.

"O-oh I see, well I was going back home to shower after a long day of training. I was busy training one of my fire jutsu in combination with my shuriken jutsu. But I realized one of my biggest weaknesses right now and until I'm able to improve significantly I should stick to D-rank missions. It is better than going out on a C-rank mission not prepared." Izumi replied to Rin's question while looking at the rest of the group as well.

"Ha that doesn't surprise since you were the best kunoichi of our class. But I'm sure you will be able to become a chunin in no time." Rin told Izumi as they kept walking towards the same area.

"Naw, I was told that it is better to polish my skills before I try to overestimate my abilities. People that overestimate their abilities tend to end up dead in the ninja world." Izumii said while her head in agreement, nodding to herself.

"Well that's a nice piece of advice can't fault you there with that logic. So where do you live then?" Rin said as was walking past the house they were in front of.

"Oh right here, this is my place. It's pretty big for someone like me but I grew up here and I didn't have the heart to move out and sell the place. But I'll be alright, life goes on. So where do you live?" Izumi said as she stopped as she asked the question.

"Oh wow what a small world guess we are going to be neighbors then. We live next door. Well if you ever want to train or maybe hangout come give me a knock next door." Rin said as she placed her hand out for a hand shake.

"Thanks for the offer, I'll definitely be taking you on that. Maybe one day we will take a mission together with our teams. Izumi said as put her out and began to shake Rin's hand.

"Okay then see you later then Izumi maybe if you're not busy tonight you can come over for dinner." Rin offers since it would be good to have a friend in this new place that they moved too.

"Sure I'll take that offer, since I've been going out to eat since the incident." Izumi said as she put a complicated look on her face.

"See you around six tonight then later." Rin said throwing a wave good-bye

Izumi put a smile on her face and thought that it was about time that she started to make more friends for the future. Then she smelled something foul, and began to smell herself as she made a disgruntled face. And ran inside slam the door race to take a shower so she would be ready for dinner tonight.

I have been listening to my own story. I've been doing minor corrections whenever I hear something that doesn't sound right. I'm doing my best to have the sound of the story sound smooth. Another thing I am changing is I'm only using kaa-san or tou-san when the character is actually speaking. Only wise they will be mentioned by others by mother or father. So I will be going back to the other chapter to make these changes.

I wanted to remind everyone that this reading will have some character ages be different from the original. I wanted to give more history to the Uzumaki clan since they got the shaft.
