Mara picked up her son and smiled at him when he wined a little. "Mother," he said in a whisper. Mara laughed again and walked over to her father-in-law and former master. She cleared his throat making him turn around. She bit back a gasp. For he looked normal apart from the scar on his face and his missing arm. 'Luke was not kidding about that part.' She thought with a smile. "Hello, I'm Mara Jade. I'm a friend of Luke's," she held out her hand while she still had her son in her arms. Anakin smiled at her and nodded.
"Anakin Skywalker and this must be Ben," Anakin said with a small smile. However, Mara saw the pain in his eyes.
'War,' she thought sharing a look with Ben. "It's nice to meet you, Anakin," Mara said voice cracking a little. However only Ben noticed it. Mara nodded awkwardly before she walked away. Luke watched her from talking with Obi-wan. He sighed and went back to talking with the Jedi master.
"Mother, father, I sense it again. I don't know what it is," Ben said a few hours later. They were sitting on the ship waiting to leave. Luke looked at Mara and nodded.
"And it's not my father? Or the Sith running the background in this time?" Luke asked looking to the door. Thankfully no one has come in to hear what they were saying. Luke hummed and looked back to his son who had his eyes closed. "Maybe we should tell father or..." Luke cut off when the door opened. Obi-Wan walked in with a smile on his face.
"We are about to take off are you ready?" Obi-Wan asked looking at the small family. Luke looked at Mara and nodded.
"Yes, however, we have something to tell you. Um, Ben, I believe sense a Sith," Luke said knowing that this will bite him later. However, he had to tell them. He wanted to keep it a secret, but poor Ben needs a break. Obi-Wan hums and looks at Mara who had her eyes closed.
"Well, when we get to coruscant," Obi-wan said running his hand over his beard. Luke nodded and stood up.
"Can I help with anything?" Luke asked. Mara heard something in her husband's voice. However, she didn't know what it was. She looked over to her son who had fallen asleep. Obi-Wan smiled and nodded.
"Of course," he said walking through the door. Luke followed him with a bright smile on his face.
Maul let out a laugh when he knew that Kenobi, Skywalker, and now three new Jedi were coming back to Coruscant. He will get them. If it is the last thing he'll do. 'I'm here Kenobi. Come find me.' Maul thought with another laugh. 'Kenobi?' maul said trying to see if he could connect to the Jedi master, but it didn't work. He sighed. "Soon, I will get to him," Maul said before he walked over to the window. Ships flew pasted the window and Maul could not help but smile big. Soon everything will change, and he will be the cause of it.
