Chapter 21M
May woke up first, and opened her eyes with a start. As soon as she did, half her body suddenly jerked around. Right. Brendan's here. May looked around to see almost everyone else waking up, clambering out of their sleeping bags and room corners.
She got up, and instantly fell over. The different limb control never stopped, it seems. After shaking her leg and arm, she knelt, packed her things, and exited the shelter.
May knelt down, waited for a nod, then started to sprint out. She stumbled a bit, but ran all the way through to Oldale Town before tripping. May laughed in joy, then got up and headed to Route 103. On the way, she saw several men in black trying to steal a kid's pokemon.
"I'm sorry, ok? She beat me!"
"No. Your pokemon are now the property of Team Blight!"
May felt pain for the man. He had chosen to fight fairly, and this was his reward? No, it wouldn't stand. Determined, May stood straight and shouted "HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE."
The men turned around, and recognized May. "What the? It's the girl!"
"Get her!"
In a flash, as the man in black ran, the three grabbed their pokeballs.
"Now girlie. Surrender."
