"Pssst, psst Riley" she heard someone in the next cell whisper.

"Huh?" looking over she saw a pale figure, white spiky hair, a blue sweatshirt with ice around the trim of his collar, brown tattered shorts, and bare feet—he defiantly resembled that of Jack Frost but after being tricked once she couldn't be sure.

"Umm... Jack?"

"Yes?"

"You- you're the real Jack Frost aren't you?"

He blinked "The one and only! Why do you ask?"

"Well because, I- umm... I met-"

"Oh, you must've met my double ganger"

"Double ganger?"

"Yes, his name is Dark Jack Frost... and he's a part of an evil anti-guardianship; an evil group called The Dark Guardians Clan"

"The Dark Guardians Clan?"

"Yes, they consist if an Anti-Tooth Fairy known as Dark Tooth, an evil version of North known as Dark North or Krampus, and evil Bunny and Sandman known as Dark Bunny and Black Tornado"

"Wait! Have do you know all this? I thought Pitch whipped your memory?"

"Oh, he did—but our Tooth here is the Guardian of Memory and she figured out how to reverse the effects"

"Really? That's so cool and-" she cut off. "Guardian of Memory?"

"Oh, it's actually the Guardian of Memories"

"Either way, what is that?"

"The Guardian of Memories is Tooth' center"

"Ooh... what's a center?"

"A center is... something... inside yourself that defines you and you try hard to protect, share and spread"

"Oh... so that's what a center is?"

"Umm... I think so, that's the only way I know how to explain it anyway"

"Of course, all of us guardians here have centers"

"Oh really? What yours?"

"Mine? Oh, mine is... fun! I'm the Guardian of Fun"

"Hmmm... what type of fun?"

"Winter fun! You know sledding, snowball fights, you name it"

"Whoa cool!"

"North's center is wonder, Bunny's is hope and Sandy's is dreams"

"Oh, cool! So, is any of what the Anti-you said is true?"

"Depends, what did he tell you?"

"Well, first he told me aboutEmma... and how she's your sister..."

"Interesting, what else did he tell you?"

"Well, he also said that you saved her..."

"And did he tell you how I did it?"

"Oh yes... he told me that it all started one winter's day when you had taken her out with you to teach her to ice skate near a frozen pond close by... but then it began to crack not soon after setting foot on it; she ended up surviving through—with a little help from your stick..."

"What stick?"

"Well, he said that; long ago- before that incident came about you found this odd-shaped stick... it looked to him... or you like something a shepherd would use so you kept it—luckily you had it with me that day... using it you talked her though the rescue saying that we were going to play a game... a game of hopscotch... you and her played it every day and you figured it would come in handy right then... anyway once you got close enough you used that shepherds stick to scoop her up and get her to safety... he also said that was the last time you ever saw her face..."

"Well, you hit the nail on the head so far"

"..and he also said that it was the moon that saved you..."

"Hmmm..." he scratched his chin, thinking back.

"I know, I'm still having trouble believing it"

"It's not that, it's just I can't believe Pitch got that much about my personality right"

"... and that's how you became a guardian! The moon chose you"

"You're right"

"... He also passed himself off as—well, you"

"Typical trickster" He snorted, angrily.

"Wh—what do you mean?"

"Well, you know how I said how my center was... fun?"

"Yes..."

"Well, My counterpart—Dark Jack Frost's center is the opposite of fun"

"You mean-?"

"Yep, he loves causing trouble, pure boredom and absolute misery towards all"

"Oh, how terrible"

"... and Krumpas's is that he's very close-minded and, well.. just anything you could think of that sucks the wonder and joy out of people, Dark Bunny's is... well, along with stealing candy; he strives to ruin Easter"

Riley gulped, "and Sandy's?"

"Same as Pitch, help him out with his nightmares"

"Oh..."

"Yes, it's bad I know"

"Yeah, anyway he also told me that they needed my help; because your first believer Jamie which lived in your hometown stopped believing"

"Interesting..."

"... and that through North's globe he saw that to his surprise... every little light on it had been blown out except for one... mine"

"Hmm..."

"... and apparently I'm the chosen one, the last ray of sunlight this world has... the last believer"

"Okay..."

"... and that they needed my help desperately—if they didn't get enough children believing in them— then they would forever seize to exist"

"Interesting..."

"Well, is everything the evil Jack Frost said true?"

"Well, mostly everything he said is true, but I've heard otherwise"

"You have?"

"Umm... well, no—not really. But we have to get back up there"

"Why?" she sighed, looking around.

"Because if those fiend's get out into the world they could change what children think of us and they could tarnish our reputation forever"

"Oh no..."

"So, will you help?"

"Try and stop me"

"Excellent!" he whispered, "glad you're on board with this" he smiled. Turning slightly so he had his back to her he went on talking to his fellow guardians—Riley was in shock to find all the guardians—the real guardians, her favorite guardians were all together in one big cell. With Jack sitting in one corner, specifically the lower left-hand corner... North sitting on the bed, Bunnymund sitting on the floor and Sandy sitting quietly in the upper left corner of the cell—lit only by one single candle in the middle of the floor. "Okay guys; she's in!" he said excitedly.

"Oy Jack" North groaned, looking up.

"What? What's wrong?"

"It's great that you recruited her Jack, but what's our plan?" he said with his thick Russian accent.

"The plan I have for us is to... first, Riley will magically obtain the keys from off the hook over there using some kind of magic combined with my winds, then we'll sneak out somehow... I don't know exactly how, that part's going to work out yet; but we will"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! M- ma- magic? I have magic?" I butted in, Jack turned; he must've forgotten I was right behind him.

"Huh?"

"I have magic!?" I repeated.

"Yes Riley, don't you know?"

"No..." Riley sat stunned. How in the world could she not have known?

"No, this is impossible! I not—I don't have magic in me, I'm just an ordinary girl"

"Oh yeah, why don't you ask that girl over there" he pointed to a corner of the cell where a young girl hid her face in her knees—she had dark brown hair with red highlights that glowed in the sun.
