They tiptoed quietly out of that cold, dark cell—"Wait sis" Riley spoke. "What are we gonna use to help the guys?"

"Oh..." she racked her brain. "Well look, we can use this!" she ran and got something of the bed—it was all folded-up neatly.

"What's that?" Riley asked, seeing her big sis stroll on back with it draped over one arm.

"This is an invisibility cloak"

"An invisibility cloak?—Like Harry got his first year at Hogwarts?"

"Yeah"

"Hmm... prove it"

"Okay..." she smiled, putting the cloak on. Riley couldn't help but be amazed, there standing before her—or more like floating before her was... nothing but a head.

"Now do you believe me?"

"Yes..." Riley stared in awe, her jaw dropped at the amazing sight before her. She starred at her sister for a few more seconds; phone out, she snapped a few pictures before her sister began getting herself out of the cloak.

"I have one for you too" Riley was speechless, she didn't even ask although it truly was the coolest thing in the world.

Riley saw her sister run over to her bed and out something from underneath—from what she could see it was a square-shaped box with yellow wrapping and a green ribbon; handing the package to her sister, Sophia explained the present thoughtfully.

"Riley, I was saving this for your birthday but I think that it'll do ya some good using it now"

Opening her gift gratefully she was more than happy when she came upon a folded yellow cloak with green trim around the edges.

"Wow... this is beautiful, thank you Sophia" she embraced her sister in a warm hug.

"You're quite welcome Riley" she replied once they broke apart. "I've got some for North and the rest of our guardian friend too" she exclaimed, pulling each parcel out from under her bed. "Riley do mind handing these out?" she asked handing one to her.

"Ummm... not at all"

"Great" she watched as Riley ran over to North.

"Here North... mmm... Santa, I think this one's for you"

"Thanks, Riley" North acknowledged, taking the bright red wrapped package from her. Opening it carefully to reveal a big red and black invisibility cloak.

Bunny's green leafy wrapped present revealed a green cloak, Jack's a Crystal white and ocean blue cloak and Sandy's was a golden one with little swirly-swirls on it.

"Thanks, Riley; Thanks Sophia" they each thanked us for the gifts—putting them on. They each watched amazed as their bodies slowly began to disappear.

Coming out of hiding again, they each listened intently as Sophia began to reveal the rest of the escape plan. "Okay guys" she announced in a low voice. "Here's what we're gonna do..." she paused, thinking what it was we're gonna do then said smiled. "Sandy—can you use your sand to sand scalped each of us?" he nodded, "excellent! Now once that's done we'll all gather at the bottom of the stairs, we'll have to meet and hide at the bottom of the steps with all our backs against either wall..."

"What about the cloaks?" Riley asked.

"I'm getting to that Riley, hold your horses" she assured, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Now... at that time we'll in unison put our cloaks on making us invisible as we walk up the stairs"

"Oh...okay"

"Then, once we sneak up the stairs we'll reveal ourselves to the other..."

"...and..."

"...and we fight"

"...fight them?" Jack chimed in. "I'm all for that plan" he growled, the rest of the guardians turned to Jack, with confusion written all over their faces.

"Anyone got a better plan?" asked Bunny.

"Well, why don't we just use the invisibility cloaks to sneak out completely?" Riley suggested.

"Oh yeah, that's a better plan—let's do that one" they all burst out laughing at what Sophia said.

"Okay, we're all in agreement then..." Jack laughed, putting his cloak back on; concealing himself one more—the rest of them did the same as their new plan began to take shape.

"Sandy—go ahead and make the sand-figures now" Sophia commanded, "but do it quietly okay" he nodded slowly as he began the process, his golden sand flew around the room as it slowly settled inside the cell. Slowly shaping each of the guardians perfectly, down to the last detail.

"Lookin' good Sandy" reserving some acknowledgment from Sofia. Turning to look at her he smiled as if to say thank you; "Okay" Sofia exclaimed, "Now on to step two—the sneak up the stairs"

"Okay" North acknowledged. "Follow your lead"

"Okay" Riley followed behind her closely, then came North, Bunnymund, Tooth, Sandy, and Jack came up the rear.

Meanwhile, back up top at the base, The Dark Guardians Clan was planning something sneaky.

"Okay," the voice was easily recognizable as the evil and sinister Pitch Black's. "How can we make the children of the world fear us?"

"Well, we can insert nightmares while they're sleeping" Krampus suggested.

"Hmmm... Nah, I've always done that—it's the main reason why they defeated me... no what I want is something fresh and new"

"Oooo... What if I fly over Jack's home town?"

"Hmmm... and what do you expect to do my dark, evil son" Pitch slithered toward where Dark Jack was, slightly intrigued.

"Well, I can find his first-ever believer Jamie..."

"Hmm-hmm, go on"

"I find Jamie and his younger sister Sophie..."

"...and..." Pitch tapped his long, white fingers together maliciously.

"I'll just kidnap the little boogers long enough for you and your partner to cast dark sand as snow so that no matter what those little kitties do they will always be guaranteed to have bad dreams"

"Hmmm... guaranteed...?" He scratched his chin evilly. "I like it! I like my odds!" he turned to look at Dark Jack. "I'm glad to call you my son"

"Hey!"

"I mean—I mean one of my sons" he replied loudly, over the angry shouts of the clan.

They all immediately became silent again. "Thank you" Pitch breathed, pleased that the guardians were finally calm. "Now then... hmmm..." he smiled listening intently. "Hmm... it's awfully quiet down there" he gestured towards Dark North.

"Eh, why don't you go check on them?"

"Mmm... okay" standing up, he walked down the Dungeon's stone steps towards the cell.

Oh no! Riley and the team seized walking, stood frozen, their backs against either side of the stone wall. With the stone steps directly in the middle of the two walls.

Riley and the rest of the team waited and watched as the member of the Dark Clan walked around, examining each cell closely.

Man, I sure hope we don't get busted she bit her lip worriedly.

Soon however she felt a sigh of relief wash over her when he turned around with a big, evil smile on his face; walking back up the stairs once more.

Figuring that coast was clear they started to move out again—making their way up the stairs in secret.

Once at the top of the stairs Riley and the others looked around, seeing the clan sitting at a round table discussing something just as Krampus came back claiming that the guardians and those two little troublesome girls were still being held captive in their cells.

"Good" Pitch smiled, evilly rubbing his hand together. "That's very, very good"

"Now, where were we?" Krampus exclaimed, sitting down to join the others.

"Well, we were just elaborating more on our plain to drive the Guardians away forever" Pitch informed him.

"Oh—so Jack is going to kick it off?" he chuckled.

"Yes," Pitch stated calmly.

"Oh, what about me, Dark Bunny and Tooth?" Krampus states crossly.

"Oh, well don't worry I'll find some way to incorporate you, your brother, and your sister in my plan"

"Okay," he smiled. "I just don't want you to leave us out, after all, you designed and created us as a team"

"Ahhh, you honestly didn't think that I'd leave you out...er... did you?"

"Actually, I did sir" he replied, looking down sheepishly.

"Oh... well, you know you'll always be my son"

"Thanks, Pitch"

"Oh please, you can call me your dad"

"Dad" Krampus replied, running up to his father; embracing him in a tight hug.

Meanwhile, as Pitch and the others continued their discussion for world domination Riley and the others managed to sneak past all the Guardians' doppelgangers... and their leader.
