'So, are you ever going to get around to replacing me?'

'Now why would I do that when we've been having so much fun together.' Liam laughed at that, she was flirting with him, and they both knew it. It would be fine, if not for one little, inconvenient detail, that she was married. She knew she was playing with fire, but she couldn't help, things with Teddy weren't exactly great. Liam was fun and exciting, he made her feel young again. The truth that she wouldn't let herself dwell on was that he reminded her of someone, someone she didn't let herself think of too often, because she knew that if she did her marriage didn't stand a chance.

Rayna heard Bucky asking if they were leaving anytime soon. She didn't pay too much attention to Juliette's reply. She found that the only way she was able to get through the tour with Juliette was to zone her out when she had the opportunity. 'Sorry I'm late, traffic.' Rayna's head snapped around at the voice, and that's when she locked eyes with Deacon. The same eyes that she hadn't seen in over a decade, only now they were clear, without the haze caused by alcohol that became a permeant feature by the end of their relationship. No, these were they eyes of the boy she fell in love with when she was sixteen. She opened her mouth to say something, anything really, but no words came out, too shocked to even speak. Luckily Juliette piped in.

'Great, Deacon's going to be our new opening act for the rest of the tour.' At that comment Rayna was able to snap her eyes away from Deacon's. Opening act, this couldn't really be happening, after thirteen years, Deacon couldn't really be back in her life on a permeant basis, or at least for the next six months. She could still feel Deacon's eyes on her, it was all becoming too much for her, she needed to get out of there. At that she got up and escaped to the kitchen at the back of the jet, she was vaguely aware of footsteps following behind her.

When she turned around, she was surprising disappointed to find out that Deacon wasn't the one that had followed her. 'Are you okay?' Bucky questioned, 'I swear I had no idea that he was going to be here, you know I would have warned you.'

'How is it even possible that she could hire him without even consulting me?'

'Well, when the tour started you agreed that Juliette could decide on the openers for the tour, it didn't really seem that important at the time.' At that Rayna let out a frustrated sigh, of course Juliette would take any little bit of power she had and use it to torture her. On that note, Bucky left the kitchenette. Rayna's short-lived relief at being left alone, was soon interrupted when the door opened again.

'Hey.' Rayna almost laughed at that. He had been gone for thirteen years, left town without even saying goodbye to her, and that was all he had to say. Of course, she didn't exactly know what to say to him either. Apparently, a lot had changed in the years they've been apart, because she never remembered being this awkward around Deacon before. She had always felt so comfortable around him, even at the beginning. There was just something about him that made her feel safe, even when everything around them was falling to pieces, that feeling had remained constant. Until now.

Funnily enough the only reply she had for him was 'hey'.
