Crash! Everyone headed to the launch bay to see what happened. They were shocked to see Tweak and another bunny hanging from some sort of vehicle on the celling. Most of them were shocked when they expertly splashed into the water. Though Captain Barnacles and Inkling just shook their heads as if it happened every day.
"Well, that was one of our better landings Bobble," Tweak commented.
"Yep, we'll have the Pronghorn racer fixed up in no time." Bobble said drying off his brown fur.
It was then that they noticed the others. After an awkward moment or two Captain Barnacles introduced Bobble as one of the original crew members. As the technician he worked with Tweak a lot. More than Dashi did however so it was almost like he was a second engineer.
Eventually the others drifted off and left the two bunnies alone. After getting the Pronghorn racer down they began to repair it and chatting at the same time. Neither of them realized it but love was blooming between them. The only one who realized something was happening was Dashi but she wasn't sure if was her imagination or not.
"Maybe we should come in slower next time," Tweak suggested.
"Where's the fun in that?" Clank asked.
"You've got me there."
"Maybe you're right we should at least try."
"Cap would wonder what was wrong."
"You've got me there."
Just as they finished the repairs the Octo-alert sounded. Apparently, someone was lost at sea in their area. In order to find whoever was lost everyone split up to look in different directions. Tweak and Bobble went practically in the same direction though no one ever noticed.
After a little bit the pair found each other at a tiny rock island with just enough room for them to sit on it in the middle of the ocean. The moon shone down on them as they sat next to each other with their ear's intertwined. They sat there for awhile silently enjoying the peace and quiet. In time they began to talk.
"You know I didn't realize how much I missed you until now," Tweak spoke softly.
"Same here I don't even remember why I left," Bobble replied.
"It sure is nice out here."
"Tweak next time we do this how about we call it a date."
"Sure."
