Shellington had just decided to turn back for the night when a storm came out of nowhere and carried him away. It was only then that everyone else discovered that it had been a false alarm. At least it was when the Octo-Alert was sounded.
Sometime later Shellington woke up in a cave and found he was blocked in by a huge tree. When the sea otter turned around, he found a girl sea otter standing in front of him. It was love at first sight which caused him to faint.
The other otter, whose name was Shelby caught Shellington and gently laid him down. Shelby skipped as she fetched some water to wake Shellington up with. Since he fainted, she knew he must feel the same about her that she did him. Shelby was not shy at all about dumping a bucket of water on Shellington.
"Hey you didn't need to use that much water," Shellington said.
"Sorry I got a little carried away," Shelby replied.
"Where are beautiful? I mean where are we?"
"In a cave on a beach of a small island shaped like a heart with pink sand."
"By the way my name is Shellington what's pretty? I mean what's your name?"
"It's Shelby and I am part of the original Octonauts crew."
"Really, I joined after gorgeous. I mean after you left."
Shelby thought it would be a good time to show with a pool with food for sea otters. Along the way he tripped and bumped into her making him turn red. Eventually the two otters relaxed and chatted getting to know each other in the process. They even discovered that they had the same job.
Days passed without sign of rescue. All that time love was growing Shelby welcomed the feeling with open arms while Shellington shunned the feeling with uncertainty. Outside the ocean raged no one could safely get to shore. Which meant no one could get to them for the rescue.
"Hey Shellington once we're out maybe we could date?" Shelby asked one day.
"Wait whaaat! Wwe just met!" Shellington said shocked.
"So a few days isn't enough?"
