Chapter 13;
Charlotte hasn't said one word to anyone at the firehouse, when she came to dropped several bags in the kitchen.
She didn't spend the night there last night.
"Charlotte, where have you been?"asked Eddie.
Charlotte ignores Eddie question being ask to her.
"Charlotte, how are you doing?"asked Henrietta.
"Fine, Just dropping these snacks off for everyone here at the firehouse"answered Charlotte by passing Eddie.
TK coming from the lockers.
"Charlotte, what are you doing here? I didn't see you last night"answered TK Strands.
"Charlotte how did you get here?"asked Evan.
"Jason and Alexis are waiting outside"answered Charlotte.
Eddie follows Charlotte outside of the firehouse.
"Charlotte, where did you go off too yesterday?"asked Eddie.
Alexis McGarret spoke up. "I spent the night with Riley, Charlotte was invited there"answered Alexis.
4 days later
Jason and Charlotte were at the firehouse, doing a project for school.
Eddie came over from downstairs, sat down on the couch. "Jason, I can hold Charlotte, you have somewhere else have to be at"answered Eddie.
Jason shakes his head. "I have no where have to be at right now"answered Jason.
TK Strands was out with Nancy on a call, does know that Charlotte is at the firehouse.
1 hr later
Those were at the kitchen table, eating some lunch.
Jason was called out at the last second.
TK Strands was holding Charlotte who was still sounded asleep in his arms.
He had text Carlos that Charlotte was at the firehouse.
Eddie looks at TK holding Charlotte in his arms, pushes his chair back from the table. "TK, Give Charlotte to me. I can hold her while you eat some lunch"answered Eddie.
TK reads the text from Carlos, he stands up now.
Charlotte starts to wake up slowly.
"Here give me Charlotte"answered Eddie again.
"Carlos just gotten off duty, he's coming here"answered TK.
"What if you get another call out?"asked Eddie.
Howie spoke up. "I can go with Nancy, it's no problem"answered Howie taking a bite of pasta.
Alarms sounded through out the firehouse.
No call for an ambulance.
