Chapter 30:
Eddie Diaz angrily turns at his parents in the court room, couldn't believe that Raymond Diaz almost kidnapped Charlotte in the park.
Judge Henderson looks at the case files in front of him. 'How does the defender believe he did?" answered Henderson.
Raymond Diaz standing up now. "Not guilty, your honor" answered Raymond.
Helen Diaz just sat there watching her husband take the stand. Couldn't believe he almost kidnapped his granddaughter in the day at the park.
"Not guilty, my ass" whispered Eddie towards TK in the background.
"Mr. Diaz why would you kidnapped your son's daughter?" answered lawyer Derek Jackson-family friend to Crystal McGarrett task force.
Mr. Raymond stood up. "My wife and I thought it would be best if Christopher come live with us in Texas. We didn't know about Charlotte until we arrived in Los Angeles 4 weeks ago" answered Raymond.
"What was Eddie Diaz reaction about you and wife taking his son back to Texas?" asked Derek.
"Eddie he has too much on his mind, with him losing Shannon 6 months ago. He's a single father raising our grandchildren" answered Helen this time it was her turn on the stand.
"Where is Ms. Charlotte Rivera right now?" answered Henderson.
"Out in the hall way, her uncle and foster dads didn't think it would be a good idea to be here for this matter" answered Derek.
"I would like to speak to Ms. Charlotte Rivera please" answered Henderson.
4 hours later
Charlotte frowns at Judge Van Henderson who was sitting in his seat.
I refused to live with Mr. Raymond Diaz and his wife Helen Diaz in Texas.
They have no right to demand I live with them.
Besides my uncle Ryan Rivera has legal guardianship with TK Strands and Officer Carlos Reyes.
Van Henderson looks at several papers in front of him.
45 minutes later
"I have decided that Christopher Diaz will remain in custody of his dads- Eddie Diaz and Evan Buckley who recently filed to adopted Christopher Diaz has his son. Ms. Charlotte Rivera will also remain in custody of her uncle K9 Officer Ryan Rivera" said Van Henderson.
