Chapter Ten: A date?

~A/N~ Here we go, Chapter Ten is on. I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter Start!

~With Izumi and Ejiro~

Izumi still wasn't sure what happened. One minute she was being sold out by her sister and the next she was walking beside Ejiro on their way to get some food.

"Don't you think this is moving a little fast?" Izumi asked but made no effort to free her hand from Ejiro's.

"What do you mean?" Ejiro asked.

"Normally you get to know someone before taking them on a date," Izumi returned.

"I thought that's what first dates were. You take someone out so you can get to know them," Ejiro said as they reached their destination.

"I guess that makes sense... sort of," Izumi replied as the two entered.

"Hey Rockhead, Welcome back," an aged man said from behind a counter. "Oh? Brought a girl with you this time I see," he added.

"Hey, Takashi. Table for two?" Ejiro asked.

"The usual opens," Takashi replied returning to his work.

"You've been here a lot," Izumi said following Ejiro to a booth.

"My big sis used to work here and I usually do all my studying here," Ejiro stated.

"You have a sister?" Izumi asked.

"Yeah, Hitomi. She just got a job as a secretary for Fatgum's Agency," Ejiro answered.

"Wow that's amazing," Izumi said smiling at the waitress as they were handed their menus. Or at least she was. Ejiro just showed the waitress three fingers and got a nod.

"Sorry," Ejiro laughed when he saw Izumi's confused look. "I have three major things I get here. I ordered my third,"

"Maybe you need to branch out more?" Izumi joked.

"Nah I'd rather focus on you than staring at the menu," Ejiro gave a toothy grin as Izumi hid behind her menu in an attempt to hide her blush.

~Sakamata Household~

"You're sure about this?" Ibara said shyly her eyes on her demonic boyfriend. He just smiled at her and nodded. She couldn't keep herself from smiling back. His confidence was simply too infectious.

Hitoshi took her hand their fingers intertwined as he opened the door. Ibara was nearly floored by the wonderful smell that assaulted her as they entered. "Ma, I'm home. And I brought someone," Hitoshi called out.

"Walk softly. I have a cake in," The two carefully walked into the kitchen to see Ryuko finishing up some dishes.

"Ma," Hitoshi said. "I want you to meet Shiozaki Ibara," Ryuko smiled brightly at the greenette.

"So this is the girl you're constantly texting?" Ryuko's smile widened. "It's wonderful to meet you,"

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well. You have a wonderful home." Ibara returned giving Ryuko a deep bow.

"None of that. You don't need to bow or anything. Go have a seat in the living room. I'll be in in a minute," Ryuko said waving off Ibara's bow.

"Is Dad home?" Hitoshi asked.

"Yeah, he's in the living room. Might be napping," Ryuko laughed.

"Should we worry about waking him?" Ibara asked as Hitoshi lead her through the house.

"It's not a problem," Hitoshi said. And sure enough, Kugo was snoring lightly in his armchair a book over his nose.

"Watch this," Hitoshi whispered. "OH GOD DAD! MOM SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE!" Kugo almost flew out of his chair.

"Ryuko! How many times have I said... Oh," Kugo glared as his son fell to the floor laughing. His attention moved to a vine-haired girl who was failing to hide her laughter.

"Sorry pops. I couldn't help myself," Hitoshi said getting back up.

"So this must be your oh what did you call her?" Hitoshi's face paled. He wouldn't? The smile on his face screamed that he would. "Oh right it was 'My Angel',"

"A... Angel," Ibara's face went beat red.

"Pops," Hitoshi slumped.

"Don't start a war you can't finish son," Kugo smiled. "Now then," he turned towards Ibara. "It's nice to meet you. You've had quite the effect on my boy,"

"I... I have?" Ibara squeaked still blushing heavily.

"Oh yes. I've not seen him smile this much before. He truly likes you," Kugo replied.

"Pops," Hitoshi groaned. He was trying to kill him with embarrassment now.

"Also I heard that," Ryuko said walking into the room.

"I mean he did shout it," Kugo laughed.

"Where are your sisters?" Ryuko said taking pity on Hitoshi.

"Rumi is having a sparring session against Katsuki at the training ground. Izumi is on a date," Hitoshi answered.

"Date?" Kugo asked his voice suddenly deathly calm.

"You knew it would happen eventually," Ryuko said.

"I didn't think it would be the first day of class," Kugo returned.

"I think his name was Kirishima. He's a lot like me. Black skin, red eyes, red hair, tail, all that," Hitoshi explained.

"Interesting. I look forward to meeting him," Kugo said coldly.

"Kugo no," Ryuko stated.

"Kugo yes," Kugo smiled.

"Either way. Pops, this is Shiozaki Ibara. My girlfriend," Hitoshi said bringing Kugo back to the moment.

~At the Resturant~

Izumi smiled as Kirishima told her another story. She couldn't believe how much fun this was becoming. They were exchanging story after story. Kirishima had just told her how he had seen a 'regular' metal version of himself during the entrance exam.

"This has been a lot of fun," Izumi said her cheeks starting to hurt from smiling so much.

"Yeah. We'll have to do it again soon," Kirishima returned with a big smile on his face.

"Sadly I should be getting home. Don't need my parents sending out a search party," Izumi chuckled.

"I'll walk you home." Kirishima offered.

"I'd like that," Izumi blushed.

~Sakamata Training Grounds~

Katsuki was pissed off. Every time he thought he had her Rumi would slip passed him. She was stupidly agile and flexible. It made it very difficult for Katsuki to catch her.

"You jumpy flippy bitch," Katsuki growled as Rumi ducked another swing.

"You're just jealous," Rumi laughed just before she buried her shin into Katsuki's side.

"Fuck," Katsuki growled as he rolled out of the ring.

"Six to four," Rumi shouted happily.

"Again," Katsuki growled.

"I'll kick your butt more later," Rumi replied as she hopped over to her phone.

"Tch, Fine," Katsuki growled and headed towards the changing room to get cleaned up. A new idea popped up in his mind. He just had to wait a bit.

~Sakamata Household: Outside~

Izumi smiled as she walked alongside Ejiro. The two had walked painfully slow towards her home. She wanted to keep talking and laughing with him. And since he didn't try to make her walk faster or even acknowledge her slow place it seemed he wanted the same.

"Well... this is it," Izumi said seeing the front doors of her home.

"Would... Would you wanna do this again tomorrow?" Ejiro asks shyly.

"What do you have in mind?" Izumi returns.

"Well, maybe we could-" Ejiro's sentence died in his throat as his eyes trailed upwards. Izumi slumped slightly and turned expecting to see her father.

"Grandpa," Izumi froze. She wasn't expecting them to be visiting.

"Hmm," Daisuki stared down at the two his expression unreadable.

"This is Kirishima," Izumi smiles.

"Go inside," Daisuki says and Izumi obeys and quickly dips past her grandfather.

"Nice to meet you, sir," Ejiro says nervously.

"A pleasure. Go home," Daisuki said getting a nod from Ejiro. Said boy quickly took off.

"I feel like I dodge a bullet," Ejiro says once he's around a corner.

"You did," Ejiro let out a very undignified scream before turning to see Katsuki leaning against the wall.

"Bakugo right?" Ejiro asks.

"Yeah," Katsuki says coldly. "Mi-chan is a sister to me,"

"She's really cool," Ejiro replies feeling like he'd gone from the fryer to the fire now.

"She generally seems to like you too," Katsuki starts. "So I'll just say this. Don't hurt her,"

"I won't" Ejiro retorts straightening up. "I like her too. And I want to see where this could go,"

"Good you have a spine," Katsuki laughs. "If you didn't Rumi would chew you up and spit you out,"

"Rumi? Oh, her older sister," Ejiro nods. "She seems-"

"She's crazy in a lot of ways. Crazy Strong, Crazy Fast, Crazy Protective," Katsuki states very matter-of-factly.

"Her grandpa seemed more protective," Ejiro returned looking back.

"If he didn't just slam the door you're safe. Now let's go," Katsuki said starting to walk away.

"Go?" Ejiro asks.

"We're going to have a spar. I want to get a measure of you," Katsuki growls.

"Hell yeah! I could use a good fight," Ejiro states with a big grin. it had been a great day.

~Unknown Location~

"So what's our first move?" Seven asked chomping down on a random leg.

"Once Two has finished his set up we'll take stock of the local villains and see who needs to be put down and who we can make work for us," the boss explained.

"Is Three going to join us?" Seven asked.

"Once he finishes his mission yes. Five and One should be here shortly. If they can keep their hands off each other that is," the boss laughed.

"They kiss more than I eat," Seven fake gaged before grabbing another corpse.

"Understablly. After all One gets stronger each time she's told she's loved," The boss laughed.

"And Five is a simp I know," Seven chuckled as she tore the head off the corpse.

"Speaking of eating. I do believe you need to slow down. I know it gets annoying to do so. But we do need to keep a lower profile. I can't have Kuro... Sorry, Four spending all his time getting you food," The boss said with a side glance to Seven and her half-eaten body.

"Oh! I know what if I just attack one of those Hero schools. I bet those kids taste so good," Seven grinned as a trail of blood ran down her chin and neck.

"Hmm. Not a bad idea I'll consider it," the boss replied a wicked idea coming to his mind.
