"What do you mean she's missing?"Olivia questioned, her worry about this situation increasing by the minute andKim's frown deepened. "She's missing. I haven't seen her since last night, and when I called her on the way over there was no answer. She always answers or texts me if she can't talk, especially if it's about Manda." She explained and Liv nodded in agreement.
"You don't think-" She started and the brunette shook her head. "God, I hope not, for her sake." "Mama." Came a small voice and Olivia glanced down to the blonde in her arms, knowing what she had to do.
"Baby, listen. There's something I need to tell you. We can't find your mom. She's missing, baby."
"Missing?" "Yes. Kim hasn't been able to get In touch with her, and neither have I." She explained as gently as she could and Amanda immediately burst into hysterical sobs. "Pl-pl-please find her. Please. B-b-bring her back." She pleated through sobs and Liv held her a little tighter, pressing a kiss to her head, glancing at Kim when she hung up the phone. "It's ok, sweetheart. We will find her. I promise." She assured, praying if Amanda's father had her that it wasn't to late.
"What is it?" She asked and Kim ran a hand over her face. "Alex had the squad go to mamas place and Fin just called me. It was a mess, and there were signs of a struggle. He thinks-" "Nooo. Mama." Amanda screamed, stopping Kim in mid sentence and the brunette frowned as Amanda's breathing immediately began to quicken, indicating another panic attack was rapidly approaching.
"Amanda, hey look at me, baby." Olivia urged, lifting her head and making eye contact. I need you to take a deep breath for me. Can you do that, honey?" She whispered, demonstrating . her request in hopes Amanda could copy her action.
"D-daddys got her." She choked out, breathing still to quick for Olivia's liking and she motioned for Kim to get the meds she felt she'd been using all to often lately, but knowing it was needed and Kim nodded as Alex reentered the room.
"Liv. We have a problem. It's Beth Anne." Alex whispered and the brunette just nodded for her to continue as Kim returned with the medicine. "She was admitted to mercy. She's in a coma." She revealed, wincing when Amanda let out another sob, which by now had almost turned into screaming.
"Honey, shh. I've got you, and I'm not going anywhere." Olivia cooed, beginning to rock slowly, sighing in relief as the medicine began to take effect.
"What happened?" Kim said in just above a whisper, fearing the worst and Alex sighed, taking a seat beside Olivia and Amanda.
"She was beaten, and it points to your father. Apparently he wanted information." She explained, not needing to reveal what information he was after, everyone in the room already knowing.
"Ok. We need to get in front of this, now." Olivia explained, patting Amanda's cheek to get her attention. "Baby, did you hear all of that?"
"Mama's in a coma." She whispered, tears now just slowly trickling down her face and Olivia nodded sadly. "Yeah, honey. She is, but I have a plan. It's going to require me to go into work without you though." She revealed, totally prepared to change that and take Amanda with her if need be but hoping her separation anxiety wouldn't make an appearance right now.
Amanda however, wasn't about to be away from her protecter though and immediately shook her head, a hand fisting the material of Olivia's shirt. "N-no. Liv, please, take me with you." She pleated, the thought of Olivia being out of her sight with everything going on was simply to much right now.
"On second thought, maybe they should come here." She decided, glancing at Alex and Kim who nodded. "That might actually be safer." Alex agreed, the gravity of the situation suddenly hitting her like a ton of bricks. "I agree. We have to keep Manda safe." Kim said, all to aware of what her father was capable of. "Ok. So here is what we are going to do." Olivia said.
"Liv. What the hell happened?"Fin questioned as he, kat and Sonny entered the apartment 30 minutes later and the brunette sighed heavily, leaning back into the couch, Amanda cradled protectively in her arms. "Mama's hurt." She told them in a small voice. "Beth Anne?" He asked and Liv nodded.
"She's in a coma. Apparently Jim wanted information." She mouthed and he nodded, thankfully understanding where she was going with that.
"They still don't know how the hell he escaped." Alex explained, finally able to reveal details from her phone call. "I tried getting info, but no one knew anything." "Right now, that's not a priority. He's out, and who knows what he will do next." Olivia explained, Amanda beginning to shiver violently in her arms.
"Shhh. Baby it's going to be fine. We are all right here." She assured, frowning as Amanda walked over to Fin, Kat and Sonny, checking to be sure they were armed before doing the same with Liv and retrieving her own fire arm and locking all the doors in the apartment.
"She does this every night." The brunette explained quietly and Kat, Fin, Alex and Kim stared in surprise. "Should we not call Susan? Maybe she can give her some medication to help." Fin said but Liv just shook her head.
"The only thing that will help is Beth Anne waking up and us catching the bastard. I just hope it's not to late." Olivia said, prepared to do whatever was necessary to keep the blonde at her side safe..
