Hey guys. Here's the next chapter. Yall don't hate me for this. I have a plan for this, so don't worry. They won't be in this predicament for to long, and then we get to the main point of this story. How does Amanda move forward. I can totally change this though if any one doesn't like it.
One week later
"I wanna see mama." Amanda begged for what felt like the millionth time over the last week and Olivia did her best to not let her frustration show. "Sweetheart, you can't. It's not safe right now, remember?" "I want mama." She pleated once more.
"I know baby, and as soon as it's safe I'll take you to see her." She comforted, gently hugging the smaller detective. "Why hasn't she woken up?" Amanda questioned tearfully and Olivia took a deep steadying breath before responding. "She was hurt very badly, and the doctors say she needs rest to get better so she may be asleep for a while." Olivia said, shifting her position and pulling Amanda in to a secure embrace.
"I-I know she wasn't always good when I was little, but she's good now, right?" "Yeah, honey. She is, and when she gets better and gets to come home, she can stay with us." Olivia explained, realizing just how much closer the two women had become recently.
"What... what if she doesn't get better? I-I need her." The blonde screamed, a loud wail echoing off the walls in the apartment and Olivia did her best to fight off her own tears. "Oh, baby. I know. I know you do." She cooed, pulling the smaller woman more securely into her lap and rocking slowly. "I-I want her t-to wake up now." She wailed once more and Olivia gently pressed a kiss to her head, no words of comfort seeming to be enough at this moment.
"Hello?" The brunette said as she answered her phone a few hours later, mindful of the sleeping blonde next to her. "Liv. It's Kim." "Kim?" How's Beth Anne?" She asked, quietly exiting the room but leaving the door ajar incase her detective called out for her or had another bad dream. "She's still in a coma, but the doctors say she's holding her own. Her vitals are improving and she seems to know when I'm in the room." Kim explained, having been at her mothers bedside under the watchful eyes of Fin or another member of SVU any chance she had gotten over the last week and Olivia let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God. Your sister is an absolute mess. She keeps asking when she can see her, wakes up screaming and panics any time any one other than me stays with her. I don't know how much more of this I can take. We need to catch your father, now. It kills me every time I have to tell her she can't see your mom right now." Olivia finally revealed and Kim nodded, even though Liv couldn't see her. "I know, but with yall not knowing where daddy is, it's crucial you two stay put. Fin and the others have been investigating and he's more focused on finding her than ever. Fin learned where he was staying and he's been looking for her. He also has pictures of you." Kim revealed.
"I know. The guys and Kat came by earlier. I just hope we catch him soon. He's gonna come for her. I just hope I'm not also put in harms way. She doesn't need this. She needs to be able to feel safe and deal with these new developments."
"Yeah. Alex told me about the talk you two had about whether or not she can still work in SVU." Kim said before continuing. "If he gets to you next, that could send Manda over the edge." She said quietly, that thought more troubling than she wanted to admit and Liv nodded silently. "I need to check on her, but please keep me updated."
"i will, Liv." Kim promised before hanging up the phone.
"Livvy." Came the terrified scream and the brunette raced into the bedroom, stopping in her tracks at what she saw. "Hello, Captain Benson. The three of us are gonna go for a little ride." The cold voice of Jim Rollins said and Olivia knew at that moment that they were in grave danger.
"Livvy. Are they coming for us?" Amanda asked tearfully and the brunette took a breath, hissing as the action aggravated her cracked ribs and the blonde was immediately on alert. "A-are you ok, Liv?" "Yes, honey. I'm alright." She assured, glancing around the dark room, trying to figure a way out for them and wishing she could hold Amanda close to comfort her but Jim wasn't about to allow that, having placed Amanda in the opposite corner of the room. "You know our team won't rest until they find us." She assured her. "Kim and Alex too." Amanda added and Olivia smiled despite the situation. "Yeah, honey. That's right. We have a lot of people looking for us."
"I'm sorry I got you into this." Amanda said quietly. "Oh, baby. Don't worry about that. Taking care of you this last year and helping you is all I wanted when you went missing. I'm so glad you have trusted me." She said and Amanda let out a sob, tugging at the ropes that held her wrists to the chair. "Baby, no. Don't do that. You'll hurt yourself." She whispered but Amanda didn't seem to here her, beginning to struggle more firmly in an attempt to get to the brunette. "Pl-please untie me, Liv." She whined desperately and Olivia's blood began to boil. "When I get my hands on you, you son of a bitch." She muttered darkly, her anger towards Amanda's father rapidly increasing before she refocused her attention on the blonde across the room, knowing Amanda needed her. "Sweetheart, I can't. I'm tied up as well." She said regretfully, praying the blonde didn't start having a full-on autistic meltdown do to being under stimulated.
"Liv. Please untie me. I-I'll b-be a good g-girl." She pleated and Olivia hung her head, tears beginning to pour from her eyes before she composed herself. "Sweetheart, Amanda, listen to me. I'm right here with you, but I need you to come back from wherever you are right now." She said, heart picking up tempo when she heard approaching footsteps.
The door banging open caused Amanda to let out a frightened cry and Olivia became more angry by the minute, glaring at the man in the doorway. She wasn't letting this happen. She was not letting him traumatize Amanda more than she already was, not if she could help it. "You son of a bitch. Untie me." She demanded, Amanda's cries escalating to screams and Jim roughly backhanded her, her head whipping to the side. "Don't touch her." Olivia growled, glancing at Amanda who upon being hit had immediately gone quiet, silent tears streaming down her face and he just smirked.
"Oh, Olivia. We are just beginning." He said before exiting the room.
"Guys. He's back." Alex yelled as she sat in the squad room in front of the computer screen. After not being able to reach the two women the evening prior every one was stunned when an email of a live feed attached came to Fins computer. They were even more shocked to realize Jim had their friends, and that he had some how, gotten in the apartment undetected. "What's happening?" Kim demanded as she and Fin reentered the room, Kat and sonny not to far behind them.
"I'm not sure. He left and now he's back." Alex whispered before a terrifying realization came to her, seeing what was in his hands. "Oh God. He's going to electrocute them."
No one said anything. All they could do was watch as the scene played out in front of them.
Jim hauled Amanda to her feet and placed her in a metal chair and tied her already tied wrists to the chair. Olivia's eyes widened in horror as he placed Amandas feet in a metal bucket of water. "Please don't." Amanda screamed, realizing what was fixing to happen and that Olivia would have to watch as he then clipped jumper cables from the chair to the bucket and then to a car battery placed on the floor, holding the remaining end in his hand. "We have an audience." He said excitedly, motioning to a camera in the center of the room and both women stared at one another, realizing what he had done. "The team. The team is watching." Amanda realized.
"Yes, my darling daughter. They are." He responded before clipping the other end of the cable to the bucket, grinning cruelly as the blonde let out a blood curdling scream.
"No!" Olivia screamed as he shocked Amanda for a second time. By this point, Alex and Kim were clinging to each other as Fin, Kat and Sonny paced the length of the squad room.
"Liv." Amanda sobbed hysterically, her body trembling from the electricity and the brunette turned her murderous glare reserved for perps onto Amanda's father.
"Sh-she's gonna kill him if she gets out of those restraints." Kim finally spoke, gaining the attention of the others. "I've never seen her that angry." Kat responded and the others nodded silently. "She's always so gentle with Manda." . Kim said and Fin finally joined the conversation. "True, but if anyone was to hurt your sister-"He started but then stopped, not needing to finish that sentence.
Finally unclipping the cable from the bucket he untied Amanda and to the shock of every one in the room, Olivia.
"I'll be back. Olivia, you're next.." He said before slamming the door behind him, Amanda letting out another frightened cry.
"baby, come here." Olivia whispered, shifting in to a sitting position on the floor and Amanda wasted no time in going over to her and attempting to crawl in to her lap.
"Careful, sweetheart." The brunette said motioning to her ribs and Amanda's eyes widened fearfully. "It's ok. I'm alright." She cooed, Amanda gently sitting down next to her and leaning against Olivia's less injured side. and despite their situation, beginning to calm now that her friend was somewhat holding her. .
"If you can here us, please find us." Amanda whispered and Kim and Alex once again lost it, beginning to cry silently.
"We'll find you, baby girl. We'll find you." Fin whispered, glancing at his partner who had fallen asleep against Olivia's shoulder and he vowed right then and there to do whatever it took to find them.
He just prayed this didn't totally send Amanda spiraling.
