The next day it was 45 degrees Celsius. Scott and Virgil were the only people on Tracy Island.
" Let's go for a swim with the wolves," Scott said, looking at Virgil.
" Ok," Virgil said back to Scott.
" Pls, I brought a new camera, and I will test it while we swim," Virgil said to Scott.
" Sure, ok," Scott said back to Virgil.
Virgil, Jamien, and Snowy were waiting for Scott to get changed for a swim. Virgil stepped on the stairs leading into the pool and sat down on them. In his hand was the GoPro Hero8; Virgil looked down at the camera and then down at the three-step his feet were on. Virgil turned on the GoPro, started recording and placed the GoPro on the three-step with the lens facing the pool. Scott walked out in bathing shorts with no shirt on. Virgil stood up and swam off the steps in the middle of the pool. Snowy followed behind Virgil, but Jamien stayed on the steps. Scott got to the edge of the pool and did a backflip into the deep end of the pool. The water splashed, and poor Jamien got wet, shaking off the water that got on him.
Virgil looks at Jamien, trying to finger out why Jamien wasn't swimming with them. Then, Virgil climbed out of the pool and walked over to the wolf's pool toys. When Jamien was 12 months old, the way to get him in the pool was using a duck ring toy that he loved playing with within the pool. Virgil found the toy, jumped back into the pool, and swam off to Jamien, holding out the duck ring toy in front of Jamien. Jamien looked at the toy and tilted his head to the left. Jamien was sitting on the two-step. The water was touching his belly, but when he saw the toy, Jamien stood up and placed his front legs on the GoPro's three-step.
When Jamien placed his feet down, they missed the GoPro by 2cm with his foot just on the edge of the step and the water at his chest. Jamien blinds his front legs and jumps front, swimming to Virgil. Jamien swims off to Virgil, grabs hold of the toy, and pulls it out of Virgil's hand; he swims off with the toy in his mouth. Jamien swam back to the steps. Jamien layed down on the second step and placed his toy on the three-step. Snowy swam over to Jamien, Jamien went to a sitting position, and Snowy reached the degrees and sniffed Jamien's nose. Jamien turned around and ran up the steps with Snowy following behind him. Snowy run's faster than Jamien, and Snowy runs back into the pool.
Jamien stopped on the second step looking down at the water. When Snowy ran down the steps, her front legs hit the GoPro, knocking it over and facing the lens up. The red light coming for the GoPro made Jamien stop chasing Snowy. Jamien touched the GoPro with his front paws; Jamien looked over at Virgil and Scott. Both boys weren't looking at Jamien but talking. Jamien looks back at the GoPro and picks it up with the lens facing half in his mouth and the over out. Jamien turned around, walked out of the pool, walked over to one of the sun loungers, and layed down. Jamien dropped the GoPro on the chairs with the lens facing down. Jamien started sniffing the GoPro; Jamien sometimes looked at the boys to see if they noticed what he was doing. Jamien was chewing when Virgil saw Jamien.
"Jamien, what are you doing? Virgil said in a playful voice.
Jamien's tail started wagging when Virgil talked to him. Jamien jumped off the chair; however, when he did his front left leg kick, the GoPro made the camera fall out of the chair, landing on the concrete. They stayed in the pool until the cold temperature came down, and when that happened, the boys and wolves went back inside to watch movies.
The next day it was 50 degrees Celsius. The boys and Wolves were in the pool cooling down. John and Spikey were inside that day. John had a head cold, But everyone else was swimming. Scott and Virgil were having swimming races, Gordon was sitting on the edge of the pool with his feet dunked in the water, Alan was in a floating pool chair, and Gordon, while sitting on the edge of the pool, was filming the wolves swimming and playing.
" Yeah, Alan", Gordon said, But Alan had his eyes closed and didn't hear Gordon.
" Alan", Gordon said the second time but kicking some water at Alan.
" What," Alan said, looking around, trying to understand what happened.
" Alan, take the GoPro. I have to go to the toilet", Gordon said while holding out the GoPro.
Alan rolled out of the floating chair and swam over to Gordon, taking the GoPro out of his hands. While Alan was over with Gordon Jamien, he saw that the pool chair was empty, and Jamien climbed in and curled up in the chair. Gordon left, and Alan turned around and saw Jamien lying in the chair. Alan placed the GoPro in front of Jamien and swam off. Jamien stands up in the chair, trying to keep his balance and layed back down with his front legs touching the water. Virgil swam over to Jamien and laughed when he saw Jamien. Jamien sat up looking at Virgil when Virgil looked down at Jamien's back legs. Jamien's back legs were still lying down with his front legs standing up, but Virgil saw something in-between Jamien's back legs. Virgil wrapped his left arm under Jamien, fitted him up, and grabbed the thing under Jamien.
Virgil pulled his hand out. Virgil, let go of Jamien and looked at what was under Jamien. Jamien was lying on GoPro. Virgil laughed and turned the camera to look at Jamien. Jamien jumped out of the chair and swam over to Virgil; with the GoPro still in his hand, he swam off to the stairs with Jamien following him. Virgil reached the stairs and rested on the second step, then Jamien went the stairs and climbed out of the pool. When Jamien got out of the pool, he shook off the water. Virgil placed the GoPro on the concrete with the lens facing up at the sky. Virgil swims off the step, back to Scott to finish a race and Jamien stays lying on the concrete next to the GoPro.
Jamien stood up, walked over to a tree, and started digging a hole. Scott saw Jamien digging, touched Virgil's shoulder, and looked over at Jamien.
" Jamien came here", Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
Jamien stopped digging but walked back over to the GoPro, picked it up in his mouth, and ran back into the pool. When Jamien walked into the water, his mouth filled with water, with the GoPro still recording. Jamien swam to the deep pool and dropped the GoPro out of his mouth, the GoPro sunk to the bottom of the pool. Jamien swims back to Virgil; however, the GoPro land on its side, and Scott swim over to where the GoPro is lying and dive down to get it. Scott grabbed the GoPro with his hand, covering the lens and swam back to the surface. Scott reached the surface, turned off the GoPro, and sat it on the concrete.
