Walking Shinobi
A thing was walking down the road. It stopped and looked towards a house in the neighborhood. A crunch sound Echoes throughout the neighborhood. Blood comes out of the thing's head like a hammer in a skull. The hammer was pulled out of the skull and the thing dropped to the ground. "yuck, disgusting" said Mitchell. "This is disgusting, am I a right man?'' said Mitchell looking at Naruto and responding by nodding in response. Naruto does a big grin, and Mitchell Smiles in response. "All right, let's get back to work,'' said Mitchell. They look at the house they drew up the front steps of the house. Mitchell looks at Naruto. Mitchell first tries the doorknob it's locked Mitchell says "fuck".Naruto gives him a look and then says "come on man you can do these types of things.". "I know man," said Mitchell. Mitchell starts thinking to himself. "Alright this is what we're going to do,'' said Mitchell. Naruto looks at him giving him his full attention. "I'm going to break down the door and I need you to watch my back," Mitchell said. Naruto looks
at him and he thinks if Mitchell Believes In Me I can't let him down, Naruto thought with so much conviction. Naruto grasped the handle tightly of the hammer knowing that he will most likely bash one of those things head in. He wants to make things right that's even why he even went on a supply run to make things right. Mitchell counts down from 3. "3… 2… 1!".
Clem's house
Lee was on the couch reading a book called Foundation. Clementine entered the living room and walked up to Lee. Clementine asked Lee to stop reading his book. "what do you want?'' Lee said. "Can I have something to eat?" She said in a cute voice. "Okay I'll see what I can do," Lee responded. He got up And walked to the kitchen. Lee started looking in the pantry. He found a can of ravioli. Lee grabbed a can opener from the drawer. He opens the ravioli And grabs a pan. He put the ravioli in the pan. He started cooking the ravioli. I hope Naruto and Mitchell get back soon, he said to himself. I'm starting to worry about Mitchell's injuries, Lee thought. Lee finally cooked the ravioli. He poured the meal into two bowls And set them on the table. Lee called Clementine. The little girl went down the stairs and went to the table. She sat down At the table And they started to eat. "Hey, Lee," Clem said. "Yeah Clem," he said. "Will Naruto and Mitchell make it back?" "I don't know, I hope so," Lee said. There was a pause for a long time. It felt like a century. "When do you think my parents will come home?" she blurted out. I'm sorry sweet pea lee said sympathetically. He hugged her. After that Lee grabbed the plates and he couldn't find the soap for some reason. He started looking in the cabinets for soap. He looked in a closet and he found what he was looking for, "Bingo" Lee said. Something else caught Lee's eye; it was a radio. He decided to grab it. Why not thought Lee. He sat it on the counter and started washing the dishes from dinner. Lee got done with the dishes. Lee got curious so He was messing with the radio. He was trying to figure out how to turn it on. He tried to press the power button but it didn't work. He looked in the back of it and you had no batteries. Of course, why can't anything be easy, Lee complained to himself. Eventually, Lee found the batteries and put them in the radio there. I hope this works. He said, turning on the radio. It worked. He started to change the knobs to see if he could get the signal. A voice came on the radio. "All surviving civilians, you know it's been a pending tragedy that has been going on. Your government has set up safe zones in the nearby cities." Lee was shocked.
Naruto and Mitchell
The door was kicked down. Mitchell brought out his gun. It was a p90. Naruto Had a Hammer. Naruto starts looking around to see if there are any of those things in here. Mitchell Winces in pain. "oh God" said Mitchell. Naruto was worried for Mitchell; he wasn't quite healed after the accident. Naruto grabs his trusted notebook and starts writing in it. He gives it to Mitchell. It read "Are you okay Mitchell I know you're not in Tip-Top shape maybe you should take it easy for now". Mitchell takes a deep breath "okay Naruto I'll take it easy" said Mitchell and understanding Naruto Smiles in response. "All right, here's the plan, '' Mitchell said,'' "Naruto you go to the kitchen and I search the dining room.". Naruto understands the plan. "All right, let's go,'' said Mitchell, as they started the plan.
Naruto POV
Naruto would enter the kitchen area. He started searching the cabinets. There's just spoiled food in there dammit Naruto thought. He then looked at the pantry. man. These people must be really poor because food reserves must have been really low when they were alive, though Naruto sadly. Finally, he looked in the fridge and opened the door. Oh God Naruto thought grossed out Naruto felt like he wanted to throw up he quickly ran to the sink and threw up. Yep that's what moldy food does to you, thought Naruto sarcastically. I should probably get back to Mitchell Naruto though.
Mitchell POV
Mitchell entered the dining room and saw a long wooden table and eight chairs. Mitchell starts looking around. "Damn, there's nothing here but a boring dining area,'' Mitchell said frustrated. I might as well check the next room thought Mitchell. he walked towards a closed door. He pulled out his gun just in case there is one of those things in there. Mitchell thinks about it and realizes we don't know what to even call them. oh, when we get back I'll talk to the group about it Mitchell Thought. Mitchell opened the door and pointed his gun, getting ready to shoot if necessary. Mitchell released a sigh of relief. Okay, there's nothing in here he said to himself. It seemed like to him at least. Okay let's get to work Mitchell said he started analyzing the room and he start drawing it out like a blueprint. an 8 by 8 room in the middle there's a couch coffee table and TV in the right of the room. The door was there to the left of the room. There is a window, nothing special just a normal window Mitchell analyzes all this information. "Alright, I'm ready to get to work,'' said, Mitchell. He looked in the cabinets under the TV. He just found some magazines. Well, this dude has some interesting taste, he said jokingly. He started looking around looking for anything that would be useful. He couldn't find anything. I don't get it though he thought. Mitchell decides to meet up with Naruto. "Hopefully, he found something," Mitchell said.
Clem's house and Naruto and Mitchell's group
Naruto and Mitchell meet up in the hallway. "Did you find something?" Mitchell said. Naruto shook his head. Mitchell slumped down god dammit why can't anything be easier he said frustrated. He put his hand on his shoulder. Mitchell takes a second to calm down. There was a long silence. "I'm sorry man," said Mitchell apologetically. "it happened so fast naruto.". Naruto grabbed Mitchell and hugged him. Mitchell hugged back as well. They released the hug. "Okay we should probably get back," Mitchell said. One hour later Naruto and Mitchell get back and they see Lee and Clem playing a board game. They were happy to see them back. "Hey sweet pea, let's put the game on hold,'' Lee said. "Okay,'' said Clem in a happy voice as she got out of her chair and walked over to the nearby counter and she grabbed the coloring book and she walked to the other room. Naruto and Mitchell walk toward the table and they sit down. "I have to tell you guys something," Lee said. "A few hours ago I started messing with a radio I found in the house. I wanted to see if I could get working,'' Lee said. "Okay, what did you find out?" Mitchell said. Lee started telling Mitchell and Naruto everything he heard. "So you're saying the government has been sending safe zones all over the country and there's one right near us right now,'' Mitchell said in amazement. Naruto was happy that they were able to find safety. things were starting to look up. "We'll have to plan out how we're going to get there," Mitchell said. "We don't even know where this thing is or where it's exactly," Lee said. "We know it's in Macon but we're in Macon, '' said Mitchell calculatedly. Naruto, Lee, and Mitchell agree that they need to find a way to get to the safe zone. All right let's get started, said Mitchell.
3 days later
"I can never get a bullseye,'' Clem said. Whining Naruto frowns. He grabbed her hand and started lining the dart to the dartboard. He gave her a signal to grill it. It hit straight through the middle. "I did it,'' said Clem happily. "Hey, Clem did you get your bag packed?'' Lee said, coming into the room. Everyone looked at Naruto. "Hey, can you help her," Lee said Naruto wrote in his notebook? They read it. It said "sure, make sure you tell Mitchell to count how much ammo we have" read Lee. "Okay, thanks by the way," Lee said. Naruto smiled in response. Lee walked off, and Naruto turned to Clementine and pointed at the bag. Clem grabbed the bag from the bed. It took a few minutes to pack up. Naruto had a brown backpack. He also had a dark brown jacket with fur on the inside along with a black T-shirt with dark blue jeans and black sneakers. Mitchell was finishing packing up his stuff for the road. Lee was putting on Clementine's backpack. "Is everyone ready?'' said Mitchell. "Are we ready to go?" Lee said. "All right but before we go I have to give you guys something.". Mitchell got their attention. He gave Lee a bat. "Okay thanks, I guess," Lee said, confused. Then Mitchell gave Naruto a hammer. Naruto is also confused and then Lee realizes something. "what the f***, why did I get the f****** baseball bat," Lee said a mad Mitchell. Naruto thought to himself heck yeah I'm glad I got the bat. Mitchell starts explaining why he did this. "Okay guys calm down, the reason I did that was that I thought Naruto would probably be more experienced with a bat than a hammer.". Mitchell looks more serious, Lee remembered what happened. It scared him of how much rage Naruto had Lee thought. Naruto remembered that time when he couldn't tell them about Karama. They would think he was crazy to wait a minute. Where is Kurama out of all this time? Naruto Thought. "Hey, Naruto,'' Mitchell said, trying to get Naruto's attention. "I'm going to trust you with this okay?'' Mitchell said Naruto nodded. Can we go now, Lee said defeated. All of them left the house, everyone was walking. Clementine stopped mid-walk everyone noticed she stopped. "What's wrong?" said Mitchell. "What if my parents come home and I'm not there?" She asked in a sad voice. Lee looked at Naruto. They walk to Clementine. "don't worry Clem until we find your parents we three will never and I mean never leave you and that's a promise right guys." Lee said. Hell yeah, Mitchell said reassuringly. Naruto smiled knowing he'll never do the same thing he did when he let his world die just like he did. He'll never let that happen again, Naruto thought. Clementine smiled "okay Lee, I trust you all," she said trustingly. Naruto starts getting excited yeah let's go Naruto thought but nothing came out of his mouth just random sounds and he jumps in the air.
