In this chapter, the story is about Jamien's collar with a small camera inside it, and it records everything. Brains had the wolves collars to be indestructible, waterproof, fire-resistant and infinite storage for the footage.
Jamien flits his head up, the sun had just risen, and Virgil was still sleeping. The camera in the collar is facing straight, and you can see under Jamien's snout; Jamien stood up and walked up to Virgil and started licking his hand. Virgil rolled over, looking at Jamien. Virgil got out of the bed and walked into his bathroom. Jamien followed Virgil into the bathroom and sat down in the doorway. Virgil turned on the shower tap and got undressed. Jamien stood up and walked out of Virgil's bedroom. Jamien walked down to the lounge room, where he found Snowy and Spiky sleeping. Jamien walked into the room. Spiky lift his head and looked over at Jamien, who sat down under the piano. Spiky got up and walked over to Jamien, sat down in front of him and started licking his face.
When Spiky was licking Jamien's face, Snowy woke up and saw Spiky licking Jamien. Snowy walked over to the boys and did a stretch next to Spiky. Spiky stop and look at Snowy. Jamien looked down at the floor, and Snowy got closer to Jamien and started sniffing his face. Jamien lifted his head to look at Snowy; Jamien sniffed Snowy and lick her back. The three wolves looked over at the door leading to the hallway to the bedrooms because they heard the boys coming. Spiky ran over to the couch, Snowy went back to her dog bed, and Jamien stayed under the piano. Scott and John walked into the lounge room, Snowy and Spiky both walked over to their owners, but Jamien stayed under the piano and layed down.
Scott walked over to the stairs leading down into the kitchen, and John walked over to the couch and sat down next to Spiky. Virgil walked into the lounge room and saw that Jamien was lying under the piano. Virgil walked over to Jamien, blinded down, and gave Jamien some pates, and Jamien got up and crawled into Virgil's lap, with his collar just touching Virgil's leg.
" Snowy, Spiky Jamien came to get your breakfast", Scott yelled in the kitchen.
Snowy and Spiky ran downstairs, but Jamien stayed cradled in Virgil's lap; Virgil picked up Jamien and moved him off his lap. Then, Virgil stood to his feet and walked down to the kitchen with Jamien following behind him. When they walked into the kitchen, Snowy and Spiky were eating, but Jamien didn't walk over to his bowl until they finished eating.
" Hay Scott, have you notices that Jamien is acting differently?" Virgil asked Scott.
" What you mean different" Scott answered.
" Well, he spends all day under the piano and is scared of the other wolves", Virgil said to Scott.
" Yah somethings", Scott replied to Virgil.
" I think he is missing dad", Virgil said.
" Why", Scott said trying to understand.
" Jamien is your wolf, not dads", Scott said to Virgil.
" I know he's my wolf, but Jamien was more attached to dad than me", Virgil replied to Scott.
While the boys talked, Spiky and Snowy finished eating, and Jamien walked over to the bowl and started eating. While Jamien was eating, the collar had to move each time he chews the meat. In the video, you got to hear each time Jamien swallowed the meat down his throat. Finally, Jamien finished his breakfast and licked the bowl clean, walked back over to Virgil, and layed down at his feet.
