Virgil played the piano with Jamien lying under the piano, Scott was sitting at Jeff's desk, and Snowy was chewing on a bone in her dog bed when John came over the radio with a mission.
" We have a situation", John said over the radio.
" What is it John," Scott said while standing up.
" Someone thought that they could climb K2 and has fallen broken both his legs and is held up in a cave," John said over the radio to Scott and Virgil.
" Sure, we are on our way," Scott said while running over to his launchpad.
" Jamien Snowy come," Virgil said while laying up angst the painting of a rocket.
Snowy ran over to Scott and followed him down into TB1; however, Jamien followed Virgil down into TB2 and sat in the co-pilot chair while TB2 launched. Finally, after 10 hours, they reached K2 and landed at the foot of the mountain.
" Virgil, we need a pod Explorer to reach the climber", Scott said over the radio.
" Sure thing, one explorer pod, coming up", Virgil said while walking to the pod.
Virgil walked into the pod hangar and configured one pod explorer; Scott landed TB1 next to TB2 and walked over to Virgil.
" I the cave is on the west side of the mountain with a clear shot up to him", Scott said, looking at Virgil.
" But we need the wolves to explore the cave. The hole leading into the cave is small; not an adult can get through", Scott said while looking down at the ground.
" But there are two seats in each pod. So snowy and Jamien can't sit in their own laps", Virgil said while a confused look.
Scott didn't say anything but held up the wolf's harness and looked at Virgil.
" Scott, the temp outside is -13F or -25C", Virgil said, looking at Scott.
" Snowy and Jamien can survive temp of -40°F they will be fine", Scott said, claiming down Virgil.
Virgil walked over to Scott and grabbed hold of Jamien's harness. Virgil blind down and call Jamien over to him. Jamien ran over to Virgil and sat down in front of him. Virgil slips the neckpiece over Jamien's head, placed Jamien's legs through leg loops and pull the back strap to sit on the right position both wolves were wearing their harness.
" Now what," Virgil asks Scott.
" Snowy", Scott said with a smile on his face.
Scott walked over to the pod explorer, pulled out a line, and attached it to Snowy's harness. Virgil looked over at Scott, grabbed hold of the line, and attached it to Jamien's Harness and collar. Both Virgil and Scott walked over to the pod climbed in. Scott sat in the backseat, and Virgil sat in the diver's seat. Virgil step on the accelerator, and the pod moved, and the wolves started running, heading up the east side of the mountain.
It takes 20 minutes to reach the cave that the climber was trapped in. Virgil steps on the brake of the pod stop just outside the cave where a cliff was hanging over the cave entrance. Scott climbed out of the pod and looked at the cave entrance.
" Well", Virgil said while climbing out of the pod explorer.
" I think we send the wolves in the cave to search for the climber", Scott said while looking at the cave.
Virgil walked over to Jamien and Snowy, unclipped the line from their harness and grabbed hold of their collars. Scott walked back to the pod explorer and pulled out two small cameras. While Virgil was holding the wolves still, Scott mounted the cameras to the wolves collars under their mouths.
" Ok, they are recording", Scott said while checking the fed of both cameras.
" Ok, let them go, Virgil, " Scott said while holding an IPad showing the cameras' view.
Virgil let go of the wolves collars and point to the entrance of the cave.
" Search", Virgil said to Jamien and Snowy.
Both wolves looked at the cave and ran straight in. Virgil watched the wolves enter the cave, into he couldn't see them. Virgil walked over to Scott, watching the live fed of the wolves collar cameras, Scott was sitting on the ground with his back up against the pod explorer wheels, and Virgil sat down next to Scott and watched the footage. Jamien and Snowy split up inside the cave, and 20 minutes later, Jamien picks up on a sent for something or someone. Jamien followed the sent needle. Finally, he reached a teenager lying down on the cave floor.
" Scott, look, Jamien found the climber", Virgil said while looking down at the Ipad.
" Virgil, take the Ipad, I will call back up and take a rope to the climber, and we will pull him out", Scott said while handing over the Ipad to Virgil.
" Ok", Virgil said to Scott.
Scott walked over to the cave's entrance and called out to Snowy. Scott walked over to the pod, pulled out a rope, and walked back to the entrance waiting for Snowy. Meanwhile, Jamien sat down next to the teenager and watched him. The teenager moaned and opened his eyes. Jamien slit his head to the left and look at the teenager with confusion.
" Hello, Boy", The teenager said while holding out his hand.
Jamien sniffed the boy's hand and licked it. The teenager looks at Jamien and saw that he had a camera mounted to his collar. Meanwhile, outside the cave, Scott was tiring the rope to Snowy's collar. Virgil wasn't watching the Ipad but was helping Scott with the rope. When Virgil walked back to the Ipad, he saw that the teenager was awake. Virgil could hear the teenager calling for help from the audio coming for Jamien's camera.
" Scott, the teenager, is awake; send Snowy into found Jamien in the cave", Virgil said while looking at the footage.
" Snowy found Jamien search", Scott said while pointing to the cave's entrance.
Virgil pushed a button on the Ipad that reactivate Jamien's collar radio.
" Kid, hang in there. We are sending down a rope that we will pull you out with", Virgil said over the radio.
The teenager nodded his head and look at Jamien. After 5 minutes, Snowy reached Jamien and the teenager. Snowy walked over to the teenager and sat down in front of him, just looking at him. The teenager untried the rope from Snowy's collar and tied it around his waist, and Virgil came on the radio again.
" We are ready to pull you out; just give us the word when you are ready too", Virgil said over the radio.
" I'm ready", The teenager said back to Virgil through the radio.
Both Scott and Virgil pulled the rope at the same time. It took 5 minutes to pull out the teenager of the cave. Scott walked over to the teenager lying on the ground. Scott helps up the teenager to his feet and help him walk over to the pod explorer. Snowy walked out of the cave and headed just over to Scott, but Jamien walked out last and carried the teenager's backpack in his mouth. Virgil walked over to the pod explorer and helped Scott get the teenager into the pod explorer. When they got the teenager inside the pod, Jamien walked over and dropped the backpack on the snow and walk off. Scott and Virgil walked over to the front of the pod explorer and started attaching the wolves back onto the line.
" We have a problem", Virgil said while attaching the line onto Jamien's harness.
" What"? Scott said while doing the same for Snowy.
" The pod explorer has two seats, not three. So how are you going to get down to TB2"? Virgil asked Scott.
" I will use my jetpack to get down to TB2", Scott answered.
" You will reach TB2 first, so wait for us", Virgil said, joking around with Scott.
" Ok, but be fast, just kidding", Scott said while firing his jetpack up.
Virgil watched Scott fly off down the mountain and turned around, looking at the pod explorer with the teenager sitting in the back. Virgil walked over to the pod explorer and climbed up into the diver seat; the pod's roof closed, and Virgil started the engine. The wolves jumped to their feet and started pulling the pod explorer. It takes 20 minutes to get back to TB2. When they reached the Thunderbirds, Scott walked out of pod 2 and guided Virgil back into the cargo bay. Virgil park the pod explorer, and Scott helped the teenager out of the pod explorer and walked him over to the medic bay. Virgil climbed out of the pod explorer and headed over to the wolves. Virgil unclipped the wolves harness for the line coming out of the pod explorer. When Virgil unclipped the wolves, Snowy ran straight into TB1 and jumped up in the pilot seat. Jamien layed down the pod hanger floor and wait for the boys to leave the area.
After 5 minutes, Scott left TB2's hanger, walked over to TB1, and climbed into the ship. Jamien watched Scott fly off in TB1, then looked over at Virgil, who talked with the teenager. Next, Jamien stood up and walked into the cockpit of TB2, jumped up on the co-pilot seat, and layed down with his front feet hanging off the edge of the seat. Meanwhile, down in the pod hanger, Virgil was talking with the teenager.
" What's your name, Kid"? Virgil asked while bandaging the teenager's legs.
" My name is Logan", The teenager answered.
" Nice name," Virgil Said while finishing wrapping the bandage.
" What's your name," Logan asked Virgil.
" My name is Virgil," Virgil answered.
" Cool name," Logan said while watching Virgil.
Virgil finished wrapping both of Logan's legs.
" Where do you live Logan," Virgil asked.
" Why," Logan said, ever confused with the question.
" So I what hospital is closer to your home or family," Virgil answered.
" My family lives near The Royal Melbourne Hospital located in Parkville Victoria," Logan said while looking at Virgil.
" Sweet, let's go," Virgil said while turning around walked to the door that leads into the cockpit of TB2.
Virgil walked into the cockpit of TB2 and found Jamien snoring; Virgil walked over to Jamien and gave him a pated on the head. Jamien felt Virgil touch him and woke up. Virgil walked over to the pilot seat and started TB2's engines, and took off, heading for The Royal Melbourne Hospital. It takes 5 hours to reach Melbourne from K2. TB2 landed on the roof helipad of the hospital. TB2 lowed its pod hanger, and the door opened, inside was Virgil helping Logan to walk with his broken legs. Two nurses walked out on the helipad, and one of the nurses was pushing a wheelchair for Logan. Virgil sat Logan down in the wheelchair and gave the other nurse his backpack.
"Thank you, Virgil, for saving my Legs and my life," Logan said while shanking Virgil's hand.
" That's my job and my life," Virgil said to Logan.
Virgil watched as the nurses pushing logan into the hospital doors and close behind them. Virgil turned around, walked back into the pod hanger, and walked back into the cockpit with Jamien. Virgil lowed TB2 to collect the pod and took off back to Tracy Island. Finally, Virgil reached Tracy Island and landed TB2. After parking the ship, Virgil and Jamien walked into the lounge room where Scott and Snowy watching tv. Snowy heard Virgil and Jamien walk into the room and look at them. Scott saw out of the cover of his eyes Snowy lifting her head.
" Your back," Scott said while turning down the volume on the TV.
Virgil doesn't say anything but did a small smile at Scott and sat down on the sofa with Jamien. When Jamien jumps up next to Virgil, the camera still mounted to his collar pushes against Virgil's arm. Virgil felt something hit his arm; he looked down at Jamien lying up against him with his head resting on his arm.
" Jamien," Virgil said while looking down at Jamien.
Jamien fitted his head, looking straight at Virgil. Virgil can't see anything on Jamien. Virgil patted Jamien under his snout when he felt something. Virgil fitted up Jamien's snout and saw that he forget about the camera on Jamien's collar. Virgil laughed.
" What? Scott asked.
" I forget about the camera mounted to Jamien's collar," Virgil said with a little laugh when he finished talking.
" I did the same I saw that Snowy had rid the camera from her collar and was chewing on it in TB1 before I left for home," Scott said to Virgil.
" Plus, I saw that Jamien still the camera on when you walked in the room," Scott said, trying not to laugh.
Virgil grabbed a pillow that was sitting next to him and throw it at Scott.
" I am sorry, Virgil, but it is fun that we both forget that the wolves were wearing the cameras," Scott said while picking up the pillow that Virgil threw at him.
Both boys starting laughing at what happened with the wolves collars, and both wolves fell asleep, lying next to the boys.
