In this chapter, we will be returning to when Virgil was younger, when he got Jamien and other moments in his life.
One day Virgil was in the spear room looking for a box with old books that he liked reading in his spear time. Virgil walked over to the left side of the room and saw boxes sitting on top of them. Virgil looked at the top box that had been written on top books. Virgil flitted the top box off and carried it to the doorway. Virgil walked out of the room, placed the box on the floor, and went to close the door behind him, but he saw a box called Home Videos. Virgil picked up the box and carried it out of the room, and close the door. Virgil carried both boxes to his bedroom, where Jamien was still sleeping. Virgil carried the boxes over to his desk and sat them on top of the desk. Virgil grabbed the boxes titled Home Videos and opened them.
When Virgil got the boxes opened, he saw the DVD holder and VSH tapes; Virgil grabbed the DVD holder and opened it up. Virgil saw a DVD tilted (Virgil learns to play the piano). Virgil pulled out the DVD and placed it inside his DVD player, and started watching the video.
Virgil learns to play the piano in 2053 ( Virgil is 13 years old, Scott is 14 years old, and John is 12 years old.
The video started with Virgil sitting next to his mother on the piano, Lucille played a note, and Virgil coyed the note played. The camera was on a tripod that was set up on the left side of the piano that Jeff set up. The recording stopped and started again with Scott, Virgil, and John sitting on the sofa playing UNO; Jeff sat down on the floor and pointed the camera at the boys. Scott saw his father sit down with the camera. Scott fitted his head and looked at his dad with a smile on his face.
" What you boys playing," Jeff said, looking at Scott.
" UNO", Virgil said while placing down his second card and holding one card in his hand.
It was John's turn, and John played a blue skip on Scott.
" Virgil is going to win", Scott said while leaning back into the pillows.
" My favoured colour is green and now blue", Virgil said while placing his last card down.
" Nice win, son", Jeff said while looking at Virgil.
The video end and the screen went black.
Virgil grabbed the DVD holder again and started looking at other home videos. The next video Virgil watched was titled ( Jamien meets Snowy and Spikey). Virgil walked over to the DVD player, grabbed the first DVD, and placed the second one.
Jamien Meets Snowy and Spiky 2057 ( Virgil is 17 years old, and Scott is 18 years old).
The video started with the camera pointing down at the wooden floor. The person holding the camera covered the lens with their hand. The person holding the camera moved their hand off the lens when the camera came back into forces. Virgil was sitting on the wooden floor with Jamien on his lap. The person holding the camera placed the camera on the floor next to Virgil.
" Scott gave me a hand with the wolves", Jeff said in the background off camera.
" Coming, dad", Scott said while putting the camera down on the floor.
Virgil watched his older brother walked off to where his dad was with the other wolves. Virgil looks over at the camera and then looked at Jamien, who was still sitting on his lap. Virgil flited his head and saw that Jeff and Scott were bringing in Snowy and Spiky. When two wolves saw Jamien sitting in his lap, their both walked up to Jamien. Virgil picked up Jamien and placed him on the floor. Next, snowy and Spiky walked up to Jamien and started sniffing him. Jamien sat down next to Virgil and started whining.
" What's the wrong, Jamien? Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
Scott and Jeff walked over to where Virgil and the wolves were. Jeff walked over to his desk and started doing paperwork. However, Scott sat down behind the camera and put it up and filming again.
" Jamien, look over at me", Scott said while checking his fingers.
Spiky layed down on the right of Virgil, and Jamien climbed off Virgil's lap and walked up to Spiky. Virgil looked over at Scott and held his hand. Scott handed the camera to Virgil. Spiky had enough and stood up and walked away to John's bedroom. Jamien, still lying on the floor, just watched Spiky walk away.
" Jamien", Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
Jamien turned around to look at Virgil.
" What are you doing? Virgil said in a playful voice.
Jamien ran over to Virgil and hit the camera with his chest.
" Jamien, sit", Virgil said, trying to calm down Jamien.
Jamien sat down in front of Virgil and just looked at him.
"Boys dinner", Lucy said for the kitchen.
" Ok, mum", Scott said while getting up.
" Ok, mum says goodbye to the camera, Jamien", Virgil said while moving the camera closer to Jamien.
Jamien stood up, walked a little bit closer to the camera, gave it a lick on the lens, and walked away for Virgil. The video ended with Virgil turning off the camera.
Virgil grabbed the DVD out of the player and walked back over to the DVD holder. Virgil put the DVD back into the folder, started looking through more DVDs. Finally, Virgil crosses a DVD tiled ( Camerkids). Virgil pulled out the DVD for the folder and walked over to the DVD player and placed it inside, and started watching the video.
CamerKids 2051 ( Virgil is 11 years old, Scott is 12 years old, John is 10 years old).
The video started with the camera looking up at Scott, who was trying to figure out how to start recording on the camera. Scott saw that the red light on the camera flushing. Scott turned the camera to face him. Scott knows that his brothers were in the pool with Lucille in the pool and Jeff sitting on a sun chair. Scott walked outside and sat down at the pool's edge with his legs hanging over into the pool.
" Jump in, Scott; the water is nice", John said while swimming over to him.
" I can't but what", Scott said when he had an idea in his head.
" Dad, can the camera on in the water or not? Scott asked his father.
" Yes, the camera is waterproof", Jeff answered Scott.
Scott jumped to his feet and jumped into the pool with the camera in his hand. Scott sank to the bottom of the pool and pushed off the pool's floor back to the surface. When Scott re-surfaced, he had water running down his face. Scott fitted his hand, holding the camera. When he did, the camera had water droplets on the lens. Scott swims off to Virgil, who was in a floating pool chair. Scott raised his hands on the side of the floating chair. Virgil felt Scott's hand sit on the side of the chair and opened his eyes, and turned his head to look at his older brother.
" Hello, Scott", Virgil said while looking at him.
" Hi, can you take the camera," Scott asked Virgil?
" Why? Virgil asked Scott.
" I am going to practice diving in the deep end of the pool", Scott answered.
" Fine", Virgil answered while holding out his hand.
Scott placed the camera into Virgil's hand and swam off to the deep end; Virgil turned the camera around to face him. Virgil heard someone swimming over to him; it's was John.
" Can I have a turn in the pool chair pleases?" John asked Virgil.
" Sure", Virgil answered.
Virgil put the camera in his pants pocket and rolled off the chair into the water. Virgil swam off to the pool stairs and walked out of the pool. Virgil pulled the camera out of his pocket. Virgil walked over to Jeff and held out the camera. Jeff grabbed the camera off Virgil and stopped recording.
While Virgil was watching, he tried his best not to cry, but he did. Jamien woke up and saw Virgil crying. Jamine looked up at Virgil and tilted his head at Virgil. Virgil turned off his tv and layed down on his bed. Virgil was looking up at the ceiling and was trying to stop crying. Jamien watched Virgil lay down on his bed. Jamien got up for his bed-dog in the left cover of Virgil's bedroom and walked over to the bed. Jamien jump up on the bed and layed next down to Virgil's hand. Virgil felt Jamien jump up and looked over at Jamien.
Virgil wiped away the tears and started patting Jamien on his back.
" Thank You, Dad", Virgil whispered to himself.
Jamien looked at Virgil with an angry face.
" Sorry, Jamien and you too", Virgil said while contouring patting Jamien on the back.
Jamien licks Virgil's hand and layed his head down on the bed, stayed with Virgil in his bedroom.
