The people in this chapter are Virgil, Gordon, John and Buddy and Ellie Pendergast. The wolves in the chapter are Jamien and Bridget.
The next day Virgil and Gordon were sitting in the lounge room on the sofa, and Bridget and Jamien were sitting with them.
" We have a situation", John said on the radio.
" What you got, John? Gordon asked John.
" It's the Pendergast again", John answered.
" What have they done now," Virgil said while running his hand through his hair.
" The Pendergast's are in the amazon rainforest searching for Jungle Wolves for their show and have gotten lost in the rainforest," John said over the radio.
" Ok, Gordon and I will take thunderbird 2 and Bridget and Jamien; they can track and found them", Virgil said to both boys.
Virgil ran over to his launch tunnel. Meanwhile, Gordon and both wolves went down the passenger lift and got on board Thunderbird 2; Virgil was waiting for them. Virgil sat down in the pilot seat, Gordon sat down in the co-pilot seat, and the wolves shared the passenger seat. The hanger the doors opened, and sunlight flooded into the cockpit. Thunderbird 2 started to move out of its hanger and down the runaway. When thunderbird 2 was halfway out, the craft run over a sensor that made the palm trees folded down to let the craft out of its hanger. Thunderbird 2 reached the ramp at the end of the runway. The ramp flited with thunderbird 2 on it, and a blast shield in the raised position fitted up and thunderbird 2 lifted off and raced to the amazon rainforest.
After 2 hours of flying, thunderbird 2 reached the amazon rainforest and landed next to the Pendergast campsite. When thunderbird 2 touched down, Virgil and Gordon walked out of thunderbird 2 and looked around the campsite. Finally, Virgil reached a tent that had its door slightly opened. Virgil walked into the tent and saw Ellie sitting on a stretched out bed, and Buddy was standing over at a table with a computer on it. Ellie heard the tent door open and looked up to see what it was.
" Gordon, I found them over here", Virgil yelled out to Gordon.
" I am coming over now, Virgil", Gordon reply to Virgil.
" What happened? Virgil asked the Pendergast.
" Well, we are searching for Jingle Wolves, and we were using the drone to found out where the Jingle wolves live; however, the drone crashed into a tree and is stuck in some twigs in a tree somewhere in the amazon", Ellie answered Virgil's question.
" Right", Virgil said, confused.
Gordon walked into the tent with the wolves; Jamien ran over to Virgil and sat next to him. But when Bridget walked into the tent, both Ellie and Buddy stopped and looked at Bridget.
" Ellie, that's a Jingle wolf", Buddy said to Ellie.
" How do you know that. Bridget's species of wolves were discovered 10 years ago", Gordon said, a little bit confused.
" We are here to film the hidden life of the Jingle wolves and learn more about this species of wolves", Ellie answered.
" Well, let's found the drone first, then the Jingle wolves", Virgil said.
" Ok, where was the last place you used or saw the drone last? Virgil asked both Ellie and Buddy.
" We launched the drone for here, then it got a lock on something and fly off west towards the river", Ellie said to both boys.
" Ok, but if the wolves are going to track down the drone, they need a scent of the drone", Virgil said to Gordon.
Ellie stood up, walked over to the table that Buddy was standing at, and grabbed the drone's carried case.
" This holds the drone and should have a scent of the drone", Ellie said while walked over to both boys.
" Perfect", Gordon said while kneeling to wolves.
Gordon opened the case, and both wolves started sniffing it; Jamien stopped and sniffed the air. Jamien flited his head and looked off in a west direction and then looked back at Virgil.
" Jamien has a scent", Virgil said to Gordon.
" Jamien search", Virgil said to Jamien.
Jamien ran into the Jingel.
" Bridget fellow Jamien", Gordon said to Bridget.
Bridget ran up a tree, but Bridget wore a GoPro harness that the Pendergast gave to Gordon for Bridget to use while getting the drone. Jamien didn't stop running; he ran straight to the drone and found it hanging with its propeller stuck on a twig. Jamien sat down in front of the tree, looking up at the drone; however, back at the camp, Buddy and Ellie watched the footage for Bridget's GoPro while Virgil and Gordon watched the drone footage.
" Bridget hasn't found Jamien yet", Virgil said with a worried tone to his voice.
"It's okay; Bridget will found Jamien and get the drone down and back here", Gordon said to Virgil.
Virgil looked back at the screen showing the drones footage when Virgil saw that the branch and the twig drone on the move. Virgil saw the computer had earphones plugged into it; Virgil grabbed one earphone and placed it in his ear. Virgil got to hear the drone's audio; when Virgil put the earphones in, the branch started to make a cracking sound. Virgil watched the screen and saw Bridget's front leg in the video; Bridget sniffed the drone and then sniffed the twig.
Bridget looked down to see where Jamien was. Bridget looked back at the twig and bit down on the twig, and started pulling it. Bridget pulled the twig, and it broke, and the drone fell out of the tree and landed half in the amazon river. Jamien ran over to the drone and pushed his nose into the drone's camera while sniffing. Jamien flited his head and looked over at Bridget, Bridget walked over to the drone and sniffed it, but Jamien grabbed the drone's left propeller in his mouth and ran off.
While Jamien is running, the drone's camera keeps hitting Jamien's chest; Jamien bit down harder on the propeller and break it. Finally, the drone fell out of Jamien's mouth and hit the ground; Jamien stopped and walked over to the drone, and Jamien grabbed the drone again, but this time grabbed the frame that had a missing propeller and started leading back to the camp.
When Jamien reached the camp, Bridget was already there and waiting for him. Virgil walked out of the tent and walked over to Jamien. Jamien sat down but was still holding the drone in his mouth.
" Jamien drop it", Virgil said to Jamien.
Jamien moved closer to Virgil, dropped the drone at Virgil's feet, and ran over to Bridget to play. Virgil blended down to pick up the drone and carried it inside the tent.
" Well, the wolves found the drone", Virgil said while enting the tent.
" Great", Ellie and Buddy said at the same time.
Buddy walked over to Virgil and took the drone off him. Then, buddy went over to the table and placed the drone on it.
" Thank you for getting the drone back for us", Ellie said to both boys.
" Don't thank us, thank the wolves if they were here and not playing", Gordon said to Ellie.
Ellie and Virgil laughed. Ellie turned around and walked over to the box in the cover of the tent. Ellie opened the box, but both Virgil and Gordon could see what was in the box itself. Ellie pulled out a phantom drone and walked back over to the boys.
" It's is a thank gift from Buddy and me", Ellie said to Virgil and Gordon.
" We can't take your drone; what if you need it," Virgil said to Ellie.
" We bright five drones with us we will be fine", Buddy said while fixing the drone that Jamien break.
" Okay, thanks", Virgil said to both Ellie and Buddy.
Ellie handed the drone over to Gordon and hugged both boys.
" Well, we best get going now", Virgil said to Gordon.
" Yeah, ok, Virgil", Gordon answered.
" Goodbye and good founding some Jingle wolves", Virgil said while walking out of the tent.
" Goodbye", both Ellie and Buddy said at the same time.
Virgil, Gordon, Bridget and Jamien loaded into Tb2 and launched back to Tracy Island.
