Yuma and Tori arrived at the tower just after Quinton left with Hart.
Yuma: This is where Troy said they were.
They made their way to the top of the tower and found Troy unconscious by the railing.
Yuma: Troy!
Tori: He doesn't look so good.
Yuma: Come on, we gotta get him some help. Tori, help me lift him.
Tori: Okay.
Astral: Yuma, I do not see Hart anywhere.
Yuma looked around and saw that Hart was gone.
Yuma: Where's Hart? I thought Troy said he was with him.
Maybe whoever did this to Troy took Hart away?
Yuma: Come on, we need to get Troy out of here and try to wake him up.
Together they managed to lift Troy and bring him down the tower. As soon as they exited the tower, a Heartland Security chopper arrived and shined a spotlight on them.
Yuma: Who is that?
Nistro jumped out of the chopper and landed in front of them.
Yuma: It's you.
Nistro: Alright kid, where's Hart, and what have you done to Troy?
He grabbed Yuma by his shirt and held him in the air.
Yuma: I don't know where Hart is. We got to the top of the tower and Troy was passed out and Hart was gone.
Nistro: You expect me to believe that?
Tori: It's the truth!
Nistro: You hear that Dextra?
Dextra: Yeah, and I don't believe a word they say.
Nistro: Stop lying to us or else. What did you do to Hart and Troy?
Yuma: I swear I haven't done anything, now put me down Nistro!
Dextra: Can it kid. Don't forget, we're on the Duel Carnival's organizing committee. All it takes is one word from us and you'll be booted from the competition.
Yuma: I know, but I'm telling you the truth, I don't know where Hart is.
Nistro: Then why are you here on the outskirts of town in the middle of the night?
Yuma: Because Troy asked me for help to find Hart. He told us he was here with him, but when we got here, he was unconscious on the top of the tower and Hart was gone.
Tori: Hey, what's that?
They all looked into the air and saw Kite arriving with Orbital 7.
Kite: Alright, tell me where Hart is. Is my brother okay? Well?
Yuma: I don't know. We found Troy unconscious and Hart was missing.
Kite walked over to Tori and Troy and began to shake him.
Kite: Troy! Come on, wake up!
Dextra walked up and pulled Kite off of Troy.
Dextra: Calm down Kite. I understand you're worried, but you won't help anyone if you let your emotions get the better of you.
Kite: I can't just sit here and do nothing. Troy was the last person to see Hart, so we have to wake him up.
Dextra: Just give me a minute.
She walked into the helicopter and came back a moment later with a first aid kit.
Yuma: What are you gonna do with that?
Dextra didn't answer and rummaged around in it for a moment before pulling out a bottle of smelling salts.
Dextra: Nistro, give me a hand.
Nistro walked over and sat Troy upright while Dextra waved the open bottle under his nose. Troy woke up a moment later and brought his hand to the side of his head.
Troy: What happened?
Nistro: That's what we want to know.
Dextra: Troy, try to think. What happened to you?
Troy: It's a bit fuzzy, but I remember someone showing up in a Heartland Security Chopper, but when they stepped out, they weren't one of the employees.
Kite: What happened next?
Troy: He said he was there to take Hart away, and I challenged him to a duel. He won and he took Hart away before I passed out.
Kite: Troy, do you remember what he looked like?
Troy: It's starting to come back to me. I think it was Chris Arclight.
Kite: What?! Are you sure it was him?
Troy: I'm positive. Kite, I'm sorry I couldn't protect Hart, but I won't stop until I get him back.
He tried to get to his feet, but immediately collapsed, Dextra just managing to catch him.
Dextra: Troy, be careful. It looks like you got hurt pretty bad.
Kite: Troy, I can take care of this. You're no help to anyone in your current condition. Dextra, Nistro, take Troy back to the base to get him treated.
Dextra: Alright. Come on Nistro.
Yuma: I'm sorry Kite. If I had kept a closer eye on Hart when he was with me, none of this would've happened.
Kite: Hart isn't well. I hope I find him soon.
Tori: Hart's sick?
Yuma: Kite, hold on! It's my fault that Hart is missing, so I'll help you find him.
Kite: This is my problem, not yours.
Yuma: No Kite. I made a promise to Hart that I'd bring you both back together.
Kite: Give him the contact code Orbital.
Orbital 7: Affirmative. If you air heads find him, this is how to reach us.
Orbital attached himself to Kite's back and they took off.
Yuma: Good luck Kite.
Shortly after, Yuma and Tori were walking through the city.
Tori: How awful. Hart is sick, and now he's who knows where.
Yuma: Kite is hunting numbers to save Hart. Is he hoping to cure him somehow? Or maybe, someone else has promised to cure him. I wish we knew the truth.
Astral: Perhaps we have a clue. I am curious why Dextra and Nistro were searching for Hart.
Yuma: What do you mean Astral?
Astral: They were very anxious to recover the boy, as if they wanted to avoid getting into trouble. Perhaps they lost Hart and were trying to retrieve him before their superior found out. Once they got the boy from you, they planned to take him back.
Yuma: That's right. Troy said that he was going to take Hart back where he belonged, but where is that?
Astral: Dextra and Nistro not only sit on the carnival's organizing committee, but they are enforcers for the carnival's chief, Mr. Heartland.
Yuma: But if they're working for Mr. Heartland, then wouldn't that mean they were trying to return Hart to him?
Astral: I believe so. He must've been under Heartland's custody when he escaped.
Yuma: And if that's true, then it's possible that in order to cure his little brother, Kite is forced to collect numbers for Mr. Heartland, and so the person behind it all,
Astral: Must be Mr. Heartland.
Yuma: Wait, Troy said the person who took Hart away wasn't working for Mr. Heartland.
Astral: You're right. There must be another powerful figure who wants to have control of Hart.
Yuma: Yeah, but who could it be?
Meanwhile in Heartland Tower, Dextra was going to check up on Troy. She had just gotten to the door of his room when she heard a loud thud. She burst in the door and saw Troy on the floor.
Dextra: Troy!
Troy: I have to go. It's my fault Hart was taken. I have to get him back.
Dextra: Troy, I understand how you must feel, but the way you are right now, you won't be able to help anyone. You need to rest.
She helped him get up and set him back in the hospital bed.
Troy: I guess you're right. I just wish I could do more to help.
Dextra: Thanks to you we at least know who has Hart.
Troy: I just hope we can find him before something bad happens to him.
Meanwhile, in the abandoned museum outside of town, Quinton and the others were standing around a comatose Hart.
Vetrix: Good, now we can begin the ritual.
He laid down on the floor next to Hart and a large version of his crest appeared underneath them before they were lifted into the air.
Vetrix: Finally, the moment has come. I will drain Hart's power from him and make it mine!
Chains of energy came up from the seal and wrapped around Hart, siphoning away his power.
Vetrix: My plans for revenge can at long last be fulfilled. With my new power, Dr. Faker will have no chance.
He could see into Hart's memories and saw a vision of Astral World. Hart began to groan in pain and fight against the chains, but they wouldn't budge.
Hart: Please stop.
Vetrix: Hart's power is truly great! Once I have it, I will be stronger than I dared dream!
Hart: Someone help me please. Brother!
Both Astral and Kite sensed Hart's plea.
Yuma: What's wrong Astral?
Astral: Hart is in trouble.
Yuma: What kind of trouble?
Tori: Do you think he's in some kind of danger?
Astral closed his eyes and focused on Hart's pleas.
Astral: Hart needs help right away. He is quite desperate.
Vetrix: Your power is truly incredible. It's a shame I can't let you keep some of it, but unfortunately I must have all of it for myself.
Kite: Hart, tell me where you are!
Hart: Look for the moon in water and a white castle.
Yuma: So Hart doesn't know the name of the place?
Astral: No, but he described it. It must be near water, and it looks like a white castle.
Yuma: There's a lot of water around here, but no castles. Where could this place be?
Tori: You know what? It might be that abandoned museum just outside of the city. Look, it does look sort of like a castle, and there's a lake on the property, so that could be where Hart saw the reflection of the moon.
Yuma: That must be it. Come on, let's go.
They arrived at the museum and met with Kite there.
Kite: Are you sure Hart is here Yuma? There's no room for error.
Just then, he and Astral could hear Hart calling for help.
Astral: Yuma, our time is running out.
Yuma: Listen Kite, we have to come up with a rescue plan quickly.
Inside the museum, Quattro, Trey, and Quinton were watching them on the security cameras.
Quinton: How did they find us so fast?
Quattro: Who knows. Maybe that pest Troy tipped them off. Or maybe Kite followed you here Quinton.
Quinton: Impossible.
Quattro: Well, since they're here, it would be rude not to say hello, and then bid them goodbye. I'll be back.
Quinton: Don't push your luck Quattro.
Quattro: Do you think those losers are too tough for me to handle?
Quinton: Don't underestimate Kite, he is a powerful duelist. It's only necessary for you to delay them until Vetrix completes the ritual.
Quattro: Once we start dueling, there's no guarantee. I may not be able to hold back.
Quinton: Trey, keep him reigned in.
Trey: I will. You can count on me.
Outside, the bridge rose up out of the water.
Astral: It seems that Hart's captors are inviting us in.
Yuma: Then let's accept the invite and go at 'em deck to deck.
Kite: I'm going in alone.
Yuma: Bad idea. You don't even know who's waiting in there. Besides, I got Hart into this mess, and I wanna help get him out, so no matter what you say, I'm gonna be part of this rescue.
They all got inside but didn't see anyone.
Yuma: The place looks empty. Where could Hart be?
Kite: He's gotta be here somewhere.
Suddenly the doors slammed shut behind them, sealing them inside.
Quattro: If it isn't the infamous Kite. What an honor.
Yuma: Hey, it's Quattro.
Kite: You've met before?
Yuma: We have. He's the maniac who put my friends in the hospital.
Quattro: Speaking of hospitalized friends, how is Troy? I heard Quinton gave him quite a thrashing, much like the one I'm about to give the both of you.
Yuma clenched his fist in anger.
Astral: Do not give in to your anger Yuma. You will never defeat him if you duel for revenge.
Yuma: Don't worry, I understand there's something a lot bigger at stake.
Kite: Where's my brother?
Quattro: Relax, no harm has come to him. At least not yet.
Kite: What's that mean?
Quattro: When we're finished, we'll turn Hart back over to you. Well, what's left of him anyway. If you wanna save him, you have no choice but to duel us first.
He and Trey fired their Duel Anchors at Kite and Yuma, ensnaring the both of them.
Astral: This will be a tag duel.
Yuma: Bring it on!
Kite: I'll crush you creeps and get my brother out of here.
Quattro: Hart isn't going anywhere yet.
Kite: It's on. Your souls will be mine.
