Nice To Meet Ya'

"My name is Purity, and I'm your daughter from the future!" the girl yelled out.

The Commander was confused by what Purity just shouted, she's his daughter? From the future? He was thinking until he looked closer and put two and two together. She looked like an exact carbon copy of Purifier but smaller. The more he stared at her eyes, the more he noticed how similar her eyes are to his.

"Oh no..." the Commander thought.

As if everyone else thought of the same thing. A feeling of dread washed over him as he felt the entire room staring at him. The temperatures behind him climbed steadily as the curtained room was bathed in a crimson hue. Acting quickly, he turned around and quickly slammed the door, Akagi instantly started pounding on the door as it failed to muffle her yells.

"Crap this is bad... Kaga, I need you to go outside to distract her. Belfast, you can hide behind her tails and restrain Akagi when you see an opening. Vestal, you can stay for any more medical checks if needed."

"As you wish, Shikikan-Sama/Master/Commander."

Dashing away from the door, Kaga walks out to push Akagi back a bit, Belfast discreetly following behind. Breathing a sigh of relief, he took off his cap and sat next to Purity and Vestal until the situation calms down.

Outside the infirmary...

Akagi stopped banging on the door when Kaga came out and caught her wrists. Pushing her back, unaware of Belfast behind the tails. The door slammed before Kaga let her go.

"Dear sister, what is the meaning of this? Can't I go in and have a little chat with my Shikikan-Sama about why he has a daughter, with a Siren no less?"

Kaga shook her head.

"He doesn't want to be interrupted while he talks with his... daughter. And I'm sorry for this." Kaga said as she backed up.

Quicker than the carrier can react, Belfast restrained Akagi.

"Sorry Miss Akagi, but Master gave us specific orders that their conversation is private. So please, don't have me resort to extreme measures to stop you." Belfast calmly stated. Akagi was having none of it as she thrashed around wildly though ultimately failing to loosen the maid's hold on her.

"YOU LOWLY MAID! I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T LET ME GO, I'LL-"

Her sentence was caught off as Amagi's fist connected with the top of her head, knocking Akagi out cold.

"I'm really sorry for the trouble Belfast, you know how Akagi is. I'm sure she'll calm down in a bit when she wakes up."

"It's fine, my duty is to assist anyone who needs help as well. Though is it alright for you to stress yourself in your current state?" Belfast asked while handing the unconscious Akagi to Kaga.

"I wouldn't worry about it too much. My body is frail and weak, but it's more of an inconvenience. Doing that isn't a strain on me." Amagi smiled.

"Amagi, are you sure? We should go back and have you rest now..." Kaga's voice trailed off.

"Now now, we haven't thanked Belfast yet. And Vestal did say a bit of exercise is beneficial."

Belfast shook her head.

"That won't be necessary, being a maid, your gratitude is enough for me." Belfast bowed.

"Even if that's the case, I want to invite you to tea someday. Would you be interested?"

"If I'm not busy, I can join you for some tea."

"It's set then, now let's go Kaga." Amagi waved goodbye before walking off with Kaga. Belfast looked around a bit before standing in front of the door.

Back inside the infirmary...

After all the commotion died down outside, the Commander knocked on the door.

"Belfast, you still out there?"

"Yes Master, do you need me to leave as well?" Belfast responded.

"No, I was just making sure if you're there or not. I need you to stop anyone if they try to come in here. Redirect them to Perseus or Akashi if they need any medical attention."

"As you wish Master."

Grabbing a chair, he sat in front of Purity, Vestal took a seat as well in her office chair.

"So... I'm your dad?" he started off awkwardly.

"Uh huh, why would I lie about it?"

"I don't know, just the thought of you coming from the future is already jarring. And you look nothing like me besides the mixed color of your eyes."

"I mostly took after mom, and I guess you already know who she is."

"Yeah, no kidding, you guys practically look alike... how did I end up married to her anyway? Purifier. Aren't we enemies?" he asked incredulously.

"It's 10 years from this time, the war is over in the future. Even before then, you two were together."

"I'm glad to hear that the war is over at least... But besides Purifier, what about the other Sirens?"

"Mom's friends? They also live on the base in a big dorm, they're mean sometimes but the destroyer models are very easy to hang around with. They even come by to play with me and my sisters."

"Sisters? Are they also from Purifier?" Vestal asked.

"Oh, I mean they're my half-sisters. We all have different moms but that still doesn't mean I see them as my own sisters." Purity corrected herself.

Well, that was certainly unexpected for the Commander and Vestal. He has more than one wife, who and are they, and how many?

"You said you have siblings that are not from Purifier. Exactly How many wives do I have?"

"If you count mom out, seven."

"I HAVE EIGHT WIVES!?" the Commander shouted in surprise at Purity's words. Belfast also heard that outside too.

"That shouldn't surprise you, Commander." Vestal said.

"What do you mean by that?" the Commander asked as he recovered from his shock.

"You should know that most if not all girls on this base have their eyes on you, some of the mature destroyers as well. Even I do too..." Vestal murmured out the last part.

"What was that? I didn't catch the last part."

Vestal's face lit up like a Christmas light.

"N-nothing, I didn't say anything." Vestal said through her embarrassment.

The Commander shrugged, his attention back at the topic on hand.

"A-anyways, you either have noticed this fact or you haven't. But you usually don't pick up on these signs as you're very dense on these matters." Vestal teased.

"It's not like I don't notice these things. It's just that choosing one girl over the other will have some serious repercussions. I don't want that." the Commander reasoned.

It was a fair point, Akagi and others might 'deal with the pests' as they put it. That thought alone terrified him.

"Hey... HEY!"

The Commander and Vestal turned their attention back to a slightly irritated Purity.

"Now if you can let me continue, it'd be very appreciated." Purity said.

"Sorry about that. Anyways, can you tell me who these seven people are?" the Commander asked.

"No can do." Purity said back in her usual chipper voice.

"What? Why not?"

"I don't know, Dad said it'll be fun for you to see who you end up with. Plus, they'll be sending one of my sisters over here every other day or so too, it'll be easy to know who you end up with."

"All your sisters look like their mothers, like how you resemble Purifier, right?

"Pretty much, all my sisters look like their moms besides the eyes. They all have your eyes like me." She pointed to her eyes for emphasis, her stomach growled loudly.

"Hehe, guess I forgot to have breakfast." Purity said sheepishly.

"We don't have anything to eat in here besides lollipops for the destroyers. But it's not good to have sugar in the morning, let alone not having breakfast too." Vestal said in a tone similar to when she lectures Enterprise on healthy eating habits.

"Speaking of lollipops, Vestal, can you draw some of her blood for DNA testing?"

"You already know she's your daughter Commander, why the DNA test?"

"Think about it, this might be the only time we get to study Siren genes up close. Doing so can give us an advantage in this war."

"Alright, but preparations are going to take at least ten to fifteen minutes, think you can wait till then for breakfast?"

"Yep, as long as I get pancakes after this!"

"I'm sure Belfast is more than willing to make them for you. I know I can't." he laughed at his own lackluster cooking skills.

"Don't worry Dad, you spend most of your day in the office. Cooking isn't something that you have to learn." Purity pointed out to try and cheer up the Commander.

"Guess you're right, thanks for that." he ruffled her hair.

"Bel, you still out there? You can come in now." after a few seconds, Belfast came in.

"Do you require assistance, Master?" Belfast politely asked.

"Just something minor, I need you to head back with me and Purity for her breakfast after Vestal runs some tests on her blood."

"I see, and what does the young mistress want for breakfast?"

"Pancakes!"

"Then I'll make you the best pancakes ever." Belfast smiled at the young girl, though part of her heart was aching.

The Commander's kitchen...

"Your pancakes are always so good ma- Miss Belfast." Purity complemented Belfast, though didn't hear her slip up.

"Anything for you Purity, helping Master and people is what I enjoy doing." Belfast replied.

"Though I am curious of my future self, can you tell me about it?" she asked.

"But I can't tell you anything about Dad's other wives, I'm sure you heard him as he yelled it."

"Fine by me."

"Ok. Well, you're still by Dad's side if that's what you're worried about. With the war over, everyone relaxed and lived life like normal. But you still had head maid duties but always found time to play with me when I was a baby. You were Mom's best friend since you're the only one she really talks to. When both of them are busy, you are there to take care of me, like a second mom almost."

Belfast was elated to hear that the Commander still appreciated her presence even after he married Purifier or his multiple wives. Though that feeling from earlier came back again, this time more noticeable.

"Thank you, Purity, for telling me that Master still appreciates me even with all the women around him." Belfast was in her most vulnerable and emotional state, Purity picked up on that.

"You're welcome, Mama Belfast." Purity came up to hug Belfast, which the maid gladly accepted.

They stayed like that for a few minutes. Is this what having a daughter feels like? Having someone there for you, especially your own flesh and blood.

"Thank you Purity, for the hug." she wiped away a few tears that began to fall.

"Please don't cry... Oh, we can share the rest of the pancakes, sugar always cheers me up!"

She quietly giggled at Purity's youthful enthusiasm, she hugged her closer.

"If you're done with brea- Am I ruining something here?" the Commander asked as he descended the stairs from his personal office, seeing Belfast as Purity lightly patted her back.

"Hi Dad, Mama Belfast was sad for some reason, so I wanted to cheer her up!"

"Are you ok Bel? It's not because I'm overworking you right?" he asked with concern in his voice.

"No, it's not that Master, just something personal..."

"If you say so... anyways, I've thought of something important we need to do."

"Ooh, what is it?"

"A meeting needs to be held so you can meet everyone."

"Uh, what do you mean meet everyone?" Purity asked, curious.

"Well, we have you roam the base while you look like Purifier, can we? They won't hesitate to attack you." the Commander pointed out.

"So, I had an idea to gather everyone in the academy gym since it's 10 o'clock and everyone should be awake right now. We need to gather everyone in the gym to tell them about you so nothing catastrophic happens. The problem lies with you getting to the gym without being seen."

"How about you announce the news that everyone is needed at the gym on the PA system. Then Belfast can take me to the gym through the back when everyone is inside." Purity suggested.

"You know what, that's a foolproof plan. Belfast?"

"You can assure that I won't fail you, Master."

"Thanks. Now, I need to go, so you two sit and wait."

Before he left, Purity ran up to him for a hug. Obliging, he kneeled down and embraced her.

"Now we wait. What are we going to do?" Purity asked.

"We can make more pancakes." Belfast suggested.

"Yeah!" she pumped her fists in the air.

With the Commander...

The Commander was now in front of the office door, surprised it's still locked. His secretary for today was Z23, and it was pretty rare for her to ever be late unless it was an emergency.

"Strange, Nimi isn't here yet. I guess that's good as she'll probably follow me as I go to the gym." the Commander said aloud.

"What are you talking about Kommandant? I'm right here." A voice called out behind him.

"N-Nimi!? Geez, you didn't have to sneak up on me like that. *Ahem* I just need to gather everyone in the gym for an announcement, that's all." the Commander said with an uncomfortable laugh.

Nimi or Z23 knew there was something the Commander was hiding but didn't press on.

"Well, if we're needed at the gym, I guess I'll head there then. See you Kommandant." with that, she left.

The Commander breathed a sigh of relief that Z23 didn't press further. He readjusted his uniform and opened the door. Inside the office, he walked over to his desk to test the microphone before turning the PA system on.

"Good morning everyone, this is the Commander speaking. I would like everyone who is awake to make their way to the gym for an announcement. Please inform your dorm neighbors of the news after the announcement in case they're still asleep. That is all."

The Commander turned off the microphone, now worry of how the girls will react to the news of Purity begin to enter his mind. Not just that, but the fact some will know he has to do it with a Siren to conceive Purity was also not going to get overlooked.

*Sigh*

"Might as well get it over as soon as possible." he grumbled.

With Belfast and Purity...

"Good morning everyone, this is the Commander speaking. I would like everyone who is awake to make their way to the gym for an announcement. Please inform your dorm neighbors of the news after the announcement in case they're still asleep. That is all."

"I guess that's the signal for us to go." Purity said.

"I think we should wait a bit longer, we still might run into someone." Belfast told Purity.

"But this place is a 5-minute walk until we're even remotely close to the base or dormitories, much less the gym." Purity stated.

"If you're sure, then walk slowly behind me after we go out." Belfast said finally giving in.

"Ok! I promise!" Purity said nodding her head.

Outside the gym backdoor...

As the Commander approached the gym, he was dreading the talk. Losing it, he started nervously pacing around the area, thinking of all the things that could go wrong. From Taihou and the others going out of control to being shunned by the entire base. He was broken out of his thoughts when someone tugged on his sleeve.

"Calm down Dad, even if things go wrong, you have me and Belfast. She seems pretty accepting of me and Mom." Purity reassured.

"I know, it's just... what if someone attacks you from the bleachers? Or after we leave the gym?" the Commander sank back into his negative thoughts.

Until Purity kicked him in the shins, hard.

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" the Commander yelped in pain while hopping around, eliciting a giggle from both Purity and Belfast.

"As I said, I don't care what they think of me. And I'm quite confident that they won't attack me." Purity replied.

"How are you sure they won't attack you?" the Commander asked while rubbing his shins.

"I was born and welcomed into the base after all. Everyone was supportive of Mom when she was carrying me."

"And if someone was to attack her, I'll make sure no one hurts the young Mistress." Belfast added.

"Your word is the law here Dad. No one would defy your orders, even in the future, well maybe except Mom and your other wives."

At least it was reassuring to know Belfast was with him on this one.

"Alright, but Purity, you need to stay out here until I call you inside."

"Ok, Dad."

*Inhale* *Exhale*

"Here we go."

On the gym floor...

The Commander was standing with a microphone in the center of the gym. Looking at the majority of the base, some were still tired while most are ready for the day. Though he was still having a hard time deciding on what to say to break the news.

He sighed, starting to speak.

"I know it's a bit early and some of you just woke up, but I have an announcement to make, though there's no easy way to say it." the Commander said while looking at the crowd. There was immediately murmuring in the crowd. The murmuring continued until the Commander spoke up again.

"If you think I'm resigning, that's not it." a sigh of relief came from the crowd.

"The thing is that I'd like you all to welcome a new member onto the base, she may be small but she is very important."

Everyone was curious about who this person might be. Judging by his words, most thought they would have a new destroyer joining them.

"Guy's I'd like you all to meet Purity. Belfast, you can come in now"

Everyone's attention shifted to the double doors as Belfast walked through with a little girl resembling Purifier in tow. Both of them stood next to the Commander with Purity in between them.

"Everyone, this is Purity... my daughter..."

"Hi!" Purity waved.

Though no one waved back.
