That Wasn't Funny!
7:30 A.M...
The Commander woke up to a weight on his chest, opening his eyes and looking down, Purifier's head was on his chest. She looked cute with her sleeping face, though there was a bit of drool on the corner of her mouth. Smiling, he looked over to Belfast, sleeping soundly with a smile on her face. Both were latched to him, Purifier wrapped around his torso while he held her, Belfast had his left arm. Realizing the predicament he was in, he slowly took his right arm off Purifier to free his left. Now comes prying Purifier off, delicately removing her arms and giving her his pillow, same to Belfast. Miraculously getting out without waking them, he went to the bathroom to get ready. Done with his morning routine, he wrote a note before leaving.
Outside...
Walking outside, a gentle breeze blew by, rustling a few bushes nearby. Heading towards the Union cafeteria, he noticed that there wasn't anyone around. Weirder, he felt like there were multiple eyes watching him, but as soon as he looked back, the feeling was gone. Continuing on towards the plaza, he stopped in the middle, the sensation of being watched still there.
"Whoever you are, come out." he calmly said.
All that was heard was the rustling of leaves and wind, then what sounded like a few dozen footsteps. Turning around, there was indeed a few dozen girls following, how they managed to not make a sound was beyond him. At the forefront, an angry but calm looking Akagi held something in her hand.
"Good morning girls, why were you following me?" he asked calmly.
"Good morning Shikikan-sama, now mind telling me, or all of us what's the meaning of this?" she threw whatever was in her hand towards him, catching it with ease. It was a newspaper with a picture of him and Purifier kissing.
"FORBIDDEN UNION? AND INSIDE RIVALARY?
Yesterday, we received a picture from our photographer that shook many of us at the news department. Our Commander and Siren Purifier was photographed embracing and passionately locking lips. The Commander went on record the day before to say he was never romantically interested in her despite his presumed future daughter's existence. How can two; worlds apart from each other form a budding romance? We have eye witness accounts saying he didn't push her away or resist when she initiated the kiss, twice. We also acquired another picture from Union Destroyer Sims. The picture was taken after the Commander told them to leave. It's blurry, but you can just about see the Royal Maid Belfast with a little girl. The pair were seen again at the shopping district with the Commander, Purifier, and their daughter. Many thought nothing of it as it could be a destroyer playing dress up with them. Though later when brought in to talk about it, they seem to notice the same brown colored eyes Purity sports. The girl even looking like an exact clone of Belfast herself. Now we speculate that the girl could be the daughter of the Commander and Belfast. As Purity did point out that seven lucky girls here at base will marry the Commander in the future. If so, will there be a bitter rivalry between Belfast and his would be first wife Purifier? If so, we should question the Commander himself on the inside details of this intricate relationship."
"They already had this published and ready to go since yesterday night?"
"So, what of it? Don't tell me you all want to pry into my personal life and disregard my privacy."
"Not at all, we just want to know what your relationship is with those two minxes." she venomously spat out.
"Like I said Akagi, it's none of your business to know. Now please leave as I have an important meeting." he pushed his luck there.
Akagi's tails flared out like a fan, her rigging activating and making the temperature rise. Many around her narrowly escaped the intense heat, avoiding her. The Commander started sweating, he didn't know if it was the heat or fear, probably both. Not waiting a second later, he booked it towards the cafeteria, hoping to see Enterprise. They all ran after him, but he outran them easily, though slowed down considerably when his stamina depleted. Bursting into the cafeteria, he runs over to where Enterprise is.
"Enterprise, you've got to help me!"
"What is it Commander?"
Just then, forty some girls poured into the cafeteria.
"What're you doing here Akagi."
"We just need some answers from Shikikan-sama, this doesn't concern you Enterprise."
"I think it does, you always chase the Commander knowing he won't reciprocate, so why bother? I always had to stop you in the end if Amagi didn't get you first."
"This isn't about him right now, it's about those two vixens that took my beloved's heart." she tossed the newspaper on the table, Enterprise picked it up and quickly skimmed through it.
"Even so, it isn't in your right to bother him about it. We have an important meeting to go to, all of you, please leave." she led the Commander away from the crowd towards the office.
Commander's residence, 8 A.M...
At eight, the faint alarm upstairs stirred Belfast from her sleep. Opening her eyes and looking up, she expected to see the Commander's face. Except that that he wasn't there, and she was holding a pillow. Looking over, Purifier was cuddling her pillow closer to her body. Pinching her cheeks, Purifier started talking incoherently until Belfast pulled a little harder, prompting Purifier to wake up.
"Ow! Why'd you do that? It hurts!"
"Sorry Purifier, but didn't seem to wake up the first time I did it, so I applied a little more force."
"At least wake me up normally next time, geez."
Belfast simply smiled as she got up to clean herself and prepare breakfast, Purifier woke the girls up. Gently nudging them, Bel woke up without much effort and went to help her mother. Purity on the other hand, was a bit more troublesome.
"Hey wake up sleepyhead." Purifier gently nudged Purity's cheeks.
"Mmm, five more minutes...zzz."
"C'mon, wake up, or you'll not get any candy or snacks today."
"Ok, fine mom, you win." Purity reluctantly got up and went towards the bathroom.
Smiling to herself, brought everything upstairs before preparing for the day. Finishing up, she went downstairs, the scent of pancakes in the air.
"Ooh, pancakes!"
"Would you like some coffee with it, Purifier?"
"Sure, though don't put anything in there, I like my coffee dark."
"Here." Belfast slid over a cup.
"So, what're we doing today? It's the weekend, right?"
"I suppose it is, master has the day off yet he still woke up early."
"Dad did say to Enterprise that the faction leaders are meeting up with him today."
"That makes sense, meeting with the head of every faction is important."
"Hey Belfast, you want to pull a prank on the Commander? You won't regret it."
"Sorry, I won't participate in your antics. Though I am curious about what it is."
"Here's the plan..." she leaned into her ear to whisper what she had planned.
"I must say, it's gruesome, but I'll join just this once."
"Yeah! We'll start after breakfast."
"What's the prank we're going to pull on papa?" Bel asked.
"I'll tell you."
Office...
Entering the office, they both waited for the other faction leaders to arrive.
"You want some coffee?"
"No thanks, had one during breakfast."
"Should've grabbed something first, I'm starving."
"Sorry about that, we needed to get away from Akagi."
"What's it between you two anyways? I know your past with her, but why still hold that grudge?"
"It's because she hasn't changed, always cold and ruthless, doing whatever she can to get her way. I accepted the fact and took the job of stopping her whenever she gets out of hand."
"I see... why not just make up and put it all in the past?"
Enterprise shook her head.
"She won't accept that, it's in her nature to be the best and come out on top. Why'd you think the 1st Carrier Division is the best of the Sakura Empire? Can we talk about something else? I don't like bringing up the past, many painful memories surface."
"Sure, what'd you want to talk about?"
"Well... I saw in the newspaper that... you know..." when it came to talking about or romance in general, Enterprise can never get her word out.
"What, that I kissed Purifier?"
"Yeah, that..."
"Oh, we met up two days ago when Purity wanted to see her. We were about to leave when she pulled me aside for a kiss."
"So that wasn't the first time you kissed her!?"
"Woah, why are you yelling at me!?"
"Oh, sorry..." she pulled her cap down to hide her blushing face.
*knock *knock
"Commander, it's me, Warspite."
"Hold on a second."
Opening the door, he was greeted with a slightly irritated Elizabeth and Warspite.
"Good morning Commander."
"Good morning to you too, Warspite. And sorry for making you wake up so early, Liz."
"You better! You know how many hours I missed in my beauty sleep."
"I'm sorry about that, but this meeting is important. And don't worry, you look as stunning as all ways." he complimented her.
"Hmph!"
"Well come inside, we're just waiting for Nagato and Bismarck."
"Strange, Bismarck is usually the first on to show up."
"Yeah, maybe something happened to her." there was another knock at the door.
"Herr Kommandant, Bismarck is here."
"...Prinz?" he went up to open the door again, Prinz Eugen held Bismarck, one of her arms slung over Prinz's shoulders.
"What happened to her? She looks like she's having a-"
"Hangover, drank too much last night after Tirpitz left her alone for a crude comment."
"I... verdammt... I just said she had a nice figure and that she'd be great for you, Kommandant."
"Um, thank you? Just get in here and we'll get you some water, sound good?"
"Vielen danke, Kommandant."
"Well, I'm off, take good care of her, Kommandant."
"I will." he brought Bismarck over to the couch, Enterprise already has the water at hand."
"Here, drink this and you'll feel a little bit better."
Bismarck took the cup and nodded a thanks.
"Now, we wait for Nagato."
"That Sakura woman always comes last, can't she hurry up?"
"Your Majesty, please refrain from impatience, as they say, good things come to those who wait."
"I hate waiting, especially when it's over something so trivial."
"Please Liz, it's really important."
"If she doesn't show up within the next five minutes, I'm leaving.'
*Knock *Knock
"That must be Nagato, I'll get the door."
"Good morning Nagato, good to see that you can make it."
"Thank you Shikikan-sama, and good morning to you as well."
"Come in, we're just about to start the meeting."
Walking in, they all sat around the coffee table, waiting for the Commander to start.
"As you all may or may not know, my daughter Purity from the future came back to the past. As I first noticed, she looks like Purifier as she is her mother. She came back to the past as something troubling is happening in the future. I gathered you all here so you can state your opinions about this situation. And take a look at this as well." he threw the newspaper on the coffee table.
They all looked at it, everyone was blank faced.
"This is... troubling to say the least." Warspite thought aloud, Elizabeth nodding with her statement.
"My thoughts exactly, care to explain, Kommandant?"
"Well, I met her two days ago, something happened, we kissed. Next day which was yesterday, she came to base to join us as she has severed her connection to the Sirens. I want you guys to inform your colleagues that she isn't a threat, and I'll watch over her."
"But why bother planning this meeting for something so miniscule?"
"As the newspaper says, Belfast is indeed one of my wives. I wanted to ask you Liz, can Belfast resign from her role as head maid?"
"What did you have in mind if she did?"
"Well since our daughter is here, I'd like her to personally accompany Bel. And also, can Purifier stay in the vacant room in front of Belfast's"
"I see your reason, but I'll allow it, as I don't want to separate a little girl from her mother. And absolutely not! I would allow a Siren into the dorms as she's already surrendered, but that conniving fox that's always after you will want both her and Bel dead."
"I'll keep that in mind, but thanks anyways, Liz. Enterprise and Nagato, I want you both to keep Akagi under control. She wants me and everyone knows that, she'll go to extreme lengths to claim me as hers. So, I want you to stop her from hurting anybody as more of my daughters come to the past."
"I'll speak to Amagi about it."
"Don't worry Commander, I'll stop her if it gets out of hand."
"Thanks, and Bismarck?"
"What is it Kommandant?"
"I learned that Graf is one of my wives, and I know next to nothing about her as she served as my secretary."
"Well Graf mostly broods in her room and rarely comes out. I wouldn't advise you to tell her about this Kommandant, as she'll avoid you more."
"I know... how is she like in the few moments you've seen and talked to her?"
"Well first, she's cold and distant, never saying much and leaving when we start small talk. She's always alone, only ever person seen talking to her publicly is Z46. She may look cold and aloof, but she's very kind. Particularly fond of destroyers, though not to the extent of Ark Royal." she visibly shuddered at the woman who brought her to her knees being such a big pervert.
"Duly noted, I'll talk to her when the time is right. Well, the meeting is adjourned, please enjoy the rest of your day."
"Finally, I can go back to sleep!"
"I'll make sure to stave off any unwanted attention from Akagi, Shikikan-sama."
"Thank you Nagato, and please, make sure that Amagi's fine when you call her to deal with Akagi, you know how she is."
"I will, and don't worry, you have Enterprise if Amagi isn't available."
"You can count on me Commander."
He smiled and nodded, leaving with the others, he stopped at the vending machine to pick up some sunflower seeds before going to the warehouse.
With Purifier and others...
"Adding some finishing touches... and done!"
"Are you sure this'll wash off my dress, Purifier?"
"Yep, made sure it was the washable kind. And Bel, did you memorize what we rehearsed?"
"I think so, I do it when Purity gives the signal, right Mama Purifier?"
"You got it; this is going to be the best prank ever!"
Warehouse...
There were many Manjuus and Bulins milling about, unloading cargo from the supply ship, a Manjuu with a safety helmet noticed him and waddled over.
"Chirp."
"Hello there, you must be the one in charge."
"Chirp!"
"Ok, so here's the deal, I need you guys to renovate my home for six extra rooms, here's a few packs of sunflower seeds as payment." he handed over the seeds.
"Chiirrp!" the little bird gave him a salute and waddled off.
"Now it's time to go home, I'm starving."
Purity...
"He's coming! Get ready to start!" Purity signaled.
The Commander...
Nearing his house, he heard a shriek from inside, it was Bel. Startled, he ran up to the door and frantically unlocked it. Horrified, he saw Purifier stabbing a knife through Belfast's back. Bel was cowering in a corner while Purity cradled her in fear. The world slowed down around him as he looked at the scene, Bel got up and ran past Purifier.
"MAMA, MAMA!"
He numbly walked over to Belfast's body, dropping to his knees in a pool of her blood. He cradled her lifeless body close to his chest, tears threatening to overflow.
"I never got to say I loved you Belfast, and I'm sorry for that. We had our entire future ahead of us, you and Purifier. but why? Why? Why? WHY!?"
He looked up towards Purifier, a manic grin plastered across her face, eyes glowing a vivid yellow.
"WHY DID YOU DO THIS PURIFIER!? YOU GUYS GOT ALONG YESTERDAY, WHY DID YOU KILL HER!?" he screamed out in rage and sorrow.
"She was simply in my way, trusting me was her mistake. My love for you is greater than hers.~"
"You're crazy, you sick woman." he looked at her with eyes full of hate.
"eheheEheheEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA! I'M CRAZY? YOU WERE THE CRAZY ONE THINKING THAT WE CAN SHARE YOU! THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE, AND IT'S ME!"
She licked the blood off the knife as she slowly walked towards him, kneeling down, she whispered in his ears.
"I'm you only one that truly loves you, I know you feel the same.~"
She lifted his head up to meet him in a kiss, she was met with little opposition. Eventually giving up, he let her have access into his mouth as she kept prodding her tongue on his lips. Their make out session mixed up the saliva and Belfast's blood, Purifier was dominating the Commander's tongue. Finally coming back to his senses, he tasted something weird in his mouth.
"Wait, this isn't blood it's... ketchup?" not noticing Belfast getting up, she hugged him from behind.
"Thank you for the kind words, dear.~"
"Uwah, prank, SUCCESS!"
"..." his mind was blanking.
"Sorry to scare you like that Commander, I thought it'd be funny and we'd coax your true feelings for Belfast out."
"...THAT WASN'T FUNNY! I REALLY THOUGHT YOU KILLED HER!"
"That was the intention."
"I'm sorry dear, but I'm really happy that you do love me." Belfast pulled the Commander into a kiss.
"I... I need a break. Belfast, can you cook me something to eat? I didn't have breakfast today, so I'm really hungry right now."
"Anything for you, my love.~" she gave him another quick peck on the cheeks before heading to the kitchen.
"So, was that a good prank or what?"
"Just please clean up the mess, Bel and Purity, help her. I need to lie down"
"Ok Papa/Dad!"
