Chapter Eleven:

I stepped out of Kurogiri's portal, into the base of Coil. I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't some brats.

What the hell were The Undersiders doing here?

The first one I noticed was Skitter, she was covered in silk and dead arthropods judging from how it looked. She had yellow goggles lenses on her mask and the mask itself resembled a bug's mandibles. Her long dark hair was flowing behind her. Which seemed stupid to me. Not like superheroes wear armor where I come from, but if you're going to wear it, why not wear it in as many spots as you can? Did she purposefully keep it flowing, or did she have to do it like that?

The next I noticed was another brat. I think she was Tattletale. A teenage girl with dirty blonde hair and a purple mask. Covered in purple spandex. With an eye on her chest area on her costume. She was looking back at Coil and at me. Clearly not expecting me. Wait, now she was smiling? Why the hell was she smiling?

The next person I noticed was a buff guy covered in shadows, Definitely Grue. Then a white kid wearing some Venetian mask, Regent. After that, a tiny girl in black spandex, Imp. And last, a butch girl wearing a dog mask. As if that'll conceal your secret identity.

Then again, Hellhound, also known as Rachel Lindth, didn't have one, so I suppose it didn't matter.

Then of course there was Coil. wearing dark spandex, with holes in the head for the eyes, showing his dark skin. A white snake working in contrast acting as part of the costume wrapping around him. Yeah, that'll make people trust you. What a creepy character design.

"Woah. gross." Imp said.

"Gross? More like fucking awesome!" Regent smiled. "Man, I need to use that as my Halloween costume."

I rolled my eyes at that.

Kurogiri stepped through himself. "He-"

I held my hand out in front of him. I wanted to be the one that made introductions.

But before I could, Coil said, "Who are you? What business do you have with me?"

I smiled. "You would already know. But to humor you, I am Tomura Shigaraki."

"You speak English?" Grue asked.

I nodded.

"Well, I don't want to disappoint you, but I'm afraid I never heard of you," Coil said.

"Tomura?" Tattletale said. "As in to mourn? You think of yourself as an agent of death?"

I blinked. "Clever. Not many people would've figured that out so quickly." I smiled.

I knew exactly what to do. If I tried to attack her, then the people who have future sight will try to stop it. The other four definitely didn't have the powers. I knew all their powers from the research I did. None of them was future sight. The only person's powers that weren't known was Tattletale. I didn't consider it relevant before, but now that I know she's a part of this team…

What if instead of seeing opponents' weak points, she just knew what she would say, and said it? After all, information can come from nowhere.

Tattletale tensed up. She reached for her gun. Did she see it?

"Shigaraki," Coil said. "Don't."

He sounded tense. I suppose he saw it.

This means these are the two ones with future sight.

"Perfect. We have all the information we need."

Tattletale frowned, tensing up, most likely from either dislike or anger. I suppose it would be both, a stark contrast to Coil, who just sat there, not changing his body language. "You sound awfully overconfident."

"Let's say I have you over a barrel."

"What are you talking about?" Grue said.

I turned to him. "I'd tell you, but I don't know if you're trustworthy. You could tell someone when you figure it out. If you don't already know."

"Know about what? What are you talking about?"

"He's talking about Noelle," Tattletale said.

I blinked again. "Your power is annoying."

She smirked. "I know, but I doubt you know what my power is."

That burning itch showed up again. As I scratched, I said, "I know way more than you think. You should stay. You'll be important to this discussion."

"Wait, what?" Regent said. "What about the rest of us?"

"You're not important. It's better if you just leave."

"You don't give orders to my partners," Coil said.

"Your partners? They're brats. I doubt you would be partners with a bunch of kids. And even if you were, you wouldn't want it to be known." I tried a tactic. "If you work with kids, maybe I should take my business elsewhere."

Tattletale rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you expect to fool us?"

"Who said I was trying to fool you?"

"You are." Coil said. "Trust me when I say I know you don't want to do business."

Dammit. He figured me out.

Wait, come to think of it, how did he know if that future never happened? Is it a possible future he sees? Alternative timelines?

Wait, it would have to be the same for Tattletale. Was her power the same? Or similar? What are the chances of two people with the same power ending up in the same city? Even if she was from a different city, Why would he get someone with a similar power? Just for higher chances? Can he only see his own future? It was possible. Several future sight powers looked like that. Maybe they both work like that?

I don't know…something doesn't seem right.

"Alright, you figured me out. What I want is the support of your thinker powers."

Skitter's head whipped around to look at Coil. "How does he…Support for what?"

"For what else? To kill All Might."

Coil's head leaned back. "I see. Now I know who you are."

"Oh really? And who am I?"

"You're the buffoon that tried to kill All Might. You're the idiot that attacked a school of heroes."

My itch spread. I scratched harder and harder. "Careful. When on thin ice, you don't want to jump."

"You're the one jumping," Tattletale said. "You're messin' with two people who can see into the future. If we want, we can see how this conflict ends and simply do that."

The other Undersiders stared at her. Guess they weren't expecting her to reveal that.

Or was it something else? It was hard to tell with their masks on.

What Skitter said suggested the former. "You just told him?"

She shrugged. "He already knows."

"But you can't just tell him! Our secret will become public knowledge!" Regent whined.

But it sounded weird. It sounded…fake? Did he just not care? And was acting as if he didn't care as a joke? I don't know enough about him to know. His shoulders were relaxed, slumped. So that implied he didn't care.

Know that I think about it. They were all like that! They didn't seem too concerned that I figured out their secrets…

Something was not adding up…

"Don't worry," Tattletale said. "My power is telling me he will not do that. He's planning something else."

"Like what?" Hellhound asked.

"That's for him to reveal. Not up to me."

"I agree," Coil said. "So Shigaraki, I ask again, what business do you have with-"

"I don't believe you."

Coil sat there, unmoving. "I'm sorry?"

"Not you. You." I pointed at Tattletale.

"Me?" Tattletale asked."

"Yes, you. I don't believe you can see into the future."

She smirked again. God, she was bugging me. "Really? Then explain what future I saw where you tried to kill me. Clearly, you were trying to test me."

"What!?" Grue shouted.

"How…" Skitter looked at me, and put a snake's amount of venom into her voice. "You did that?"

I blinked. So she saw something?

No…I'm not so sure yet.

"Not important. If you're power really is future sight, then explain your friends being so relaxed. Explain Coil getting you when his power is also future sight." That already had an explanation. I only wanted to test her. "It's healthy to have a small dose of paranoia in this business, even some of the best have that. So you'll excuse me if I want you to test it again."

Tattletale's smile didn't falter. "I handled situations like this before, My friends know I can handle it, and Mine and Coil powers only work on ourselves." Convenient. "As for the test, I have no problem with that. Just think about doing something and I'll see it."

I wasn't going to play by her rules. Off the off chance she sees her opponents' weak points or is a psychic…no, it wasn't possible for her to figure out what she did by looking at my weak points. Unless your garden variety tells counts as a weak point.

Come to think of it…something was wrong with what she said…

"Why do I have to think about it?" I asked

"What?"

"You shouldn't need me to think about something. You should just be able to just look into the future and see what's going to happen next. Come to think of it, you were the only one I could tell was shocked by the look in your eyes and your pupil dilation. It seems like to me, you have a garden variety thinker power. Such as seeing your opponents' weak points, or psychic powers. They aren't uncommon. It's entirely possible. Just means you are irrelevant to this discussi-"

"Fuck off." she said.

I blinked, then scratched harder. "What?"

"You think you're so clever? You think you're smart? You're not. I could figure you out just like that." She snapped her fingers for emphasis. "I could see your entire backstory. I could see what makes you tick. I could psychoanalyze you and your misty friend in a blink of an eye. Because I'm smart, on top of having an awesome power."

What? "What do you mean?"

"Isn't it obvious? Do you think my power is that limited? Do you think I'm that weak? How do you think I survive for so long? How do you think I made it without Coil?"

"By just looking into the future, you could avoid all problems by doing that."

She simply smirked. "Let me just tell you. I can look into the past, on top of looking into the future."

I blinked. "Prove it."

She wouldn't stop smirking. It was pissing me off. "All I have to do is touch you and I can look into your past as well," she got up from her chair, "it's easy."

Now she was contradicting herself, at first she said she could only use it on herself now she can use it on other people if she touches them. She's hiding something…

And she either kept frowning or her eyes kept narrowing whenever I figured something out. What was up with that?

I held out my hand for her to touch. And she held onto four fingers. A sign that she looks into people's weak points, or did she look into the future where I attacked her and figured it out from there? Why would she be touching me at all if that was the case? Was she just smart and learned it was from five fingers that I killed her?

"Tattletale." Coil said. His voice had a warning tone. "Think about what you're doing."

Tattletale turned to him. "I know what I'm doing. I won't get hurt."

"You'll be making a fool of yourself."

"There's no way I'll be doing that with him."

"Tattletale…"

"I'm doing it. Whether you like it or not."

Coil sighed.

She turned to me. "Your quirk works by pressing five fingers against someone, and you can't turn it off, meaning you constantly have to be careful when you're touching yourself."

"Ew," Imp said, with some amusement in her voice.

"Not like that, Imp." She said.

"What else?" I said.

"And your scratching is because of an itch."

"Yes…that's how…scratches work," Regent said.

"But there's more to it than that. You see, that itch is a tic developed when you were a kid, when you were locked outside of the house by one of your abusive parents."

What? What was it? How could she figure that out? That would be a weak point. But she figured things out that you couldn't with just sensing weak points. A psychic? No, my memories are suppressed. She'd never be able to read them without awakening them.

Can she really look into the past?

No, that's impossible. That goes against everything we know about people with precognition. Is she omniscient?

Wait…

Why did she say ONE of my abusive parents?

I kept my facial expression as unreadable as possible. Then said the right things. "I'm…not sure you understand what you're saying."

"Oh, but I do, I have to admit you're good at hiding your thoughts, but I know I'm right. You itch is a tic created when you were locked outside on sunny days. It manifests when you're angry. When you feel the need to murder someone. That's why you itched when I got smug, and when Coil insulted you. You itch when you're angry."

I stratched. I'd narrow my eyes. But that would be inconsistent, now wouldn't it? Have to show more fear than rage.

"Just like right now. You scratched because you're itching, you're itching because you're angry, and you're angry because you don't like people being smarter than you."

I thought about this. How could I prove my theory?... Got it.

"You don't know my family." I put in a slight amount of aggression in my voice. "You don't know what they were like, what happened to them." I moved the muscle in my lips to smile slightly for a split second.

She smirked. "I do, you killed them."

I looked slightly to the left. "What?"

"Yeah, you killed them. And you enjoyed it too. You murdered your father and your mother with sick glee. With absolute ecstasy. And I can see the face where you did it. You were smiling like the fucking Joker."

"I…" I paused. "I regretted it." I looked to the left.

"Nope, you never did. You enjoyed it back then, and you do right now."

I smiled. "Nope."

She blinked. "What?"

"Nope. A villain killed them. And I don't enjoy the fact that they were murdered. Every time I think about it, it pisses me off."

Hellhound tilted her head. "Why?"

"Don't know why. I just do, but you said that I did it and that I enjoyed it, anyway. You can look into the past. Can't you just see what I was thinking in the past? Or what my mentor said? Why'd you say one of my abusive parents instead of saying, my mom or my dad? I bet you can't even look and know what year it happened. Because you can't look into the past. So you know what I think?"

I leaned in. "Your power is super deductive reasoning and you can figure things out with ease."

She clenched her fist hard enough for her fingers to pop. "You don't fucking know me."

"Oh, but I think I do. I think you're one of those types of people with powers that like to cause conflict. I think you had a trigger event. And I think you had a trigger event when you couldn't figure something out. Like a narcissist. No, something else. You tried to help someone but failed. Someone close to you, your mother? Your father? Your sibling? Sibling, right." I knew just from her looks. "And that trigger event DEEPLY affected you, like it does to everyone else. And it causes you to look for information to prove you're the smartest. Your power gives you rewards for causing conflict. And you're pissed off because I'm smarter than you."

I leaned back. "How about that? You have a completely unique power and someone without it is still better at it than you."

She was glaring daggers into my soul right about now. "Don't fucking test me. Whether or not you fucking figured out my power. I'm still fucking smarter than you. I'm still fucking better than you. And I can still figure you out."

"Prove it."

She dug her fingers into her spandex. Eventually leaving and slamming the door behind her.

"Thought you say that."

The Undersiders stared at me, not saying a word until Skitter slammed her hands down and got up. "That wasn't right! You had no right to bully her like that!"

I itched. "Can it, brat. Don't make me do the same to you."

"You couldn't." She said, "That wouldn't be the best for business relationships with Coil."

"I'm not interested in business relationships with him. I'm interested in something else. Now get out of here. This isn't the place for little kids."

"I'm not a little kid."

"How old are you?"

She folded her arms. "None of your business."

"Oh, I see. With that voice and attitude, you're 15. The age where everyone thinks they're invincible. That age where everyone is immature. I think it's obvious you, nor anyone else here, EXCEPT for Coil, is useful to this discussion. Now, I'm only going to say this one more time. Get out of here. You're wasting my time."

I started hearing bugs buzz around the room. Were her powers tied to her emotions? She didn't seem angry. Maybe she put her emotions on the bugs?

Didn't matter. She left eventually, storming out in a huff.

"Anyone else?" I said.

"No," Grue said. "There's nothing to say. Coil?"

Coil looked at me for a while. "Leave. Let me speak to them alone."

"Alright, Come on Undersiders."

The team left the meeting room, leaving me, Kurogiri, and Coil alone.

"Kurogiri, get me a chair."

"As you wish." Kurogiri portaled me a chair, putting it in front of me.

I sat down in it. Directly away from Coil. "I like your team. They're very easy to manipulate. Of course, I'm assuming."

"Spare me the pleasantries, Shigaraki," Coil said. "Simply tell me what you want. Tattletale said it has something to do with Noelle?"

I rolled my eyes. "Please. You have future sight, you can easily see what I want. I'm not going to bother saying it if you already know."

"I see." Coil clasped his hands together. "So…blackmail?"

"Thinker support for me keeping your dirty little secret."

Coil stared at me for a while. "As much as I want to assist you in order to keep this secret just that, I'm afraid I can't oblige. My…support can't answer questions all the time. Only a few every day. Or else her head hurts. Serious migraines. Any question asked afterwards would bring the pain back full force. I would ask her more questions if that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, it is, and it admittingly slows down my operation. It would slow down my operation even more so if you interfered with it. That would be a grave mistake."

Head hurting huh? A cliche for powers. Their heads always hurt when they use them too much. Considering head hurting was common for people with superpowers. I wonder if this guy head hurt as well from all the ego inside it.

I put my hands on my face and made an overly shocked expression. "Oh-no! The operation! Not the operation! How can this be? What can we do? I wouldn't want to hurt the operation or her head." I put my hands down and my expression changed in a second. "Don't care."

Coil's eyes narrowed. "Really? You should change your tone, Shigaraki. I didn't get this success because of my power. I got this success because of my plans, my strategy…not to mention my equally impressive allies."

"How do you fit that head in that costume?"

"I'm friends with some extremely powerful people. Very dangerous people. You'll be an enemy. You won't last a day. You'll-"

I chuckled under my breath. "You're not the only one that is friends with some very powerful people. Not to mention, I doubt those friends of yours know what you're hiding."

I threw some pictures of Noelle out on the desk, so he knows what he's dealing with. He took one of the pictures and eyed it with a narrow eye.

"There are dozens more where that came from. Some that are not even here." I said.

Coil eyed the picture for a few more seconds as if trying to see if it was fake. And then put it down. "You're…awfully thorough."

"Wouldn't have made it this far without being just that."

Coil clasped his hands together again. "Unfortunately, this does not sign my death warrant."

"It does," I spoke with venom in my voice. "Do you know what will happen if this picture hits the newspaper?"

Coil nodded, but I noticed his eyes narrowing.

I decided to say it anyway to confirm it. "All of the best heroes are suddenly kicking down your door to take the girl, kill her, and kick your teeth out."

"My allies-"

"Will not support you or assist you in any way imaginable. Do you know what solidified The Dark Age of Superheroes?"

"I'm aware."

Ignoring him, I said, "It wasn't the failure of the top heroes, it wasn't the increase of powerful villains, it wasn't even the heroes that went bad. It was the creation, the birth, and the arrival of three uber-powerful villains that were unstoppable. Unmovable. Villains that even the top heroes couldn't beat. Except for an occasional few. You know who those villains were."

Coil continued to look straight ahead. "So what your saying is-"

"If people figured out there was another one… another Endbringer…They'd be freaking terrified. They were shocked when Behemoth showed up, stunned when Levithan showed up, and outright fell into despair when Simurgh appeared, especially with her power. Now there's another one? During hopeful times? What can this one do? They all have different powers. Could this one control biology? Could she create a virus that'll certainly wipe us all out? Could she turn us all into monsters? Is she another Nilbog? So many questions that people will have and won't care to answer. They'll simply want you dead. Even your friends won't associate with you. Either through spite or necessity. After all, they can't help someone who has an Endbringer in their basement."

Coil sat there silently. "So in order for me to keep my business…my empire…I have to help you."

"Yes, I want help from your thinker power. And your subordinate. By the way, where Is she?"

"You don't have to see her. It is not required for this-"

"I WANT to." I didn't want to freakin' repeat myself.

"You can't always get what you want," Coil said, with a sternness I never heard before.

He thinks I can't always get what I want? He think he can be stern with me? The next King of the underworld. The Symbol of Terror?

"I ALWAYS get what I want. You forget…" I grabbed one of the pictures and wagged it. "I have you over a barrel."

Coil sat there without showing any emotion. What was his power? Ordinary future sight? Timeline searching? He seemed to be completely calm as if he already knew what would happen, but then why would he even argue with me as if he thought it would work? Did he actually interact in the timelines?

Did he…split them?

Coil calls out. "Mr. Pitters?"

An older man peeked his head through the door. "Yes?"

"Bring Dinah."

He nodded and closed the door.

A few minutes later, he came back with an 11 or 12-year-old girl. She walked to Coil and sat down next to him, her walking subdued and quiet. She had, white skin, brown hair, eyes that were as sunken as the titanic, and was wearing white pajamas.

Great. Another brat.

Mr. Pitters led her to Coil and left her in his hands, leaving the room when prompted.

"This is my pet: Dinah Accolt."

Pet? What a weirdo. Who calls a kid pet? Guess he didn't want to get attached to her.

I stared at her. "What's your power?"

Dinah didn't lookup. She mumbled something and I couldn't quite understand what she said. "What?"

She did it again. "Speak up brat, I can't hear you."

She was going to do it a third time, and I almost thought she was going to do it on purpose, until Coil said, "Pet, speak clearly."

She nodded, looked me in the eye, and said, "I calculate probabilities."

Upon hearing her power, I smirked. So Coil's power was to split timelines, I assume, and her power was to calculate probabilities? That's amazing, assuming the brat was loyal. You could try and try again with the probabilities given until you find something that works. You would know what has a high chance of working and what doesn't, and know whether you should keep trying. He could take over the world with those kinds of powers if he played his cards correctly.

"Can you prove that?" I asked.

"Already did," Coil said.

I looked at him.

"I saw the future where she answered the question you wanted to ask and wrote it down to help remember it."

"Ok. and what were the odds?"

"5.4832 chances you kill All Might with the use of another Nomu. 10.9239 chances you kill All Might if you use a high-end Nomu. and I feel the need to tell you, you only needed to ask one to test her."

I thought this over. The numbers were a little too specific, they were most likely the truth. Of course, just because it's improbable, doesn't mean it can't be a lie. But what if it wasn't? Did he split the timelines, and I asked the questions in an alternative timeline? Interesting. Just reminds me of how cheap his power is.

"How am I supposed to know if that's the truth?"

"You were able to figure out and outsmart someone with super deductive reasoning. You could tell whether or not I'm lying."

"All right, Coil," I said. "How do I know you didn't come up with those chances yourself? How do I know whether or not THAT'S your power?"

"You already know what my power is. I asked in an alternative timeline."

"Really? Well…I guess you're very thorough as well."

"No such thing as being too paranoid."

I smirked. "Well, I suppose that'll be very useful…as for the offer..."

He looked down at the pictures. "As if I have a choice…What now? When do we start?"

My smile grew wider. "We just did."

Later

Coil's base was far more interesting than ours. While our base was an ordinary bar, theirs was a flat-out supervillain lair! The ones you would hear myths and legends about. It was that interesting. It made me smile. It meant that Coil would be very useful to me. I could even get his soldiers for Nomu, or even some of those tinker ray guns. That will be useful in my quest to kill All Might.

Kurogiri and I walked to the room I thought the Undersiders would be in, but I found an even stranger sight: The Travelers.

Trickster was there with light brown skin, a hooked nose, and a magician outfit. Looking like a complete fool wearing it. Even with it fitting with his powers, it was still a dumb outfit.

I also saw Ballistic in his trademark black, bulky armor and stupid, square mask, and his snub nose. He looked kinda buff with his armor on. But probably only with the armor.

There was a beast there. Looked like one of Hellhound's dogs. A blue, yes blue, quadruped, muscular being that had three tails and was as large as a car. I assume that would be genesis.

And then last was Sundancer, another brat wearing black and red armor with star and flame motifs. Don't understand how she could see in that mask. Hard to see behind black glass.

Wait, if this and The Undersiders were related, that means that Coil is helping several other villains…

Or more likely…THEY are helping HIM.

Wonder if I could use that…

"Hello Travelers," I said, "are you subordinates of Coil as well?"

They stared at me. Until Trickster spoke. "Maybe, and who would you be?"

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Shigaraki. I work with your boss."

Trickster stayed silent for a second. "You don't come from around here."

I smirked. "Is it that obvious?"

He nodded. "Unless you're from the ABB. and they take down the ABB a long time ago, and the people working with them either went to prison or got community service. And I doubt the people working for them had powers other than the ones we know about…and they would never form their own group…not after the last one failed with Lung."

"You know, it's amazing this city could beat Lung. He could fight an Endbringer alone. The only people that could do that where we come from…well, the only other man who could do that where we come from is All Might."

And All for One. But he's nothing but a myth. Better if they don't know I know him. Or believe he's real.

"Yeah, probably a mistake to make him an enemy." Trickster said. I knew what he was referring to.

"It's not like I did it."

"Oh, of course, didn't mean to insinuate that you were responsible for Lung's misfortune and him becoming a criminal, only that Japan is responsible for kicking him out of the country."

"They gave him a trial. The only thing is that Lung reject the people who decided someone should be responsible for the collateral damage and instead of choosing All Might even though he was there, chose Lung."

"It's more than that," Ballistic said. "Ignoring that All Might tried to ease the damages and even took him to a different island to save Japan. To give Lung the benefit of the doubt, your country tends toward trying to punish those accused rather than finding out whether or not they even did the crime. And he did the crime. The only problem is that they wanted him to be guilty. And Lung was kinda fed up with that."

"Yeah." Sundancer agreed. "I used to feel sorry for Lung when I first learned about his story, and I only stopped when I learned what he was doing."

"Well," I said. "I'm not one for caring about things like that. Also not one for saying someone is in the wrong for going against the system."

"Yes, that'd be rather peculiar for a villain." Trickster said.

Who uses words like that? What a blowhard. Reminds me of Coil.

"So you're working for Coil as well. Just like The Undersiders."

"Wait, he knows about the Undersiders?" Sundancer confirmed.

"Well, nothing was confirmed. Until you said that."

Sundancer put her hands closer to her mouth. "Oh…"

Ballistic looked at her. "Nice, Dancer."

Trickster pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and after sucking, puffed out a cloud of smoke. "Well, no pretense of acting like we aren't working for him isn't going to work anymore."

"Sorry."

"Eh, it doesn't matter. He'd probably figure it out anyway." He turned to me. "You know who we are?"

I nodded. "Trickster, Ballistic, Sundancer, and the projection Genesis."

They stared at me for a while.

"How…." Trickster didn't finish.

I smirked. "It's kinda obvious. She always has a new form every time they're spotted. But she doesn't change it in fights. Even when it's beneficial, people don't notice it. But I do." I turned to the beast. "The only explanation is if you can't change your form on the fly when all other shapeshifters can. Meaning you're no shapeshifter, it's just a projection controlled by a handicapped girl."

They stared again.

I finished. "Judging by the fact that the earliest sightings had you happy every time you so much as walked. And the feminine form of the beast in the earlier sighting proves my point about them being female and handicapped."

Hard to tell what most of their reactions were, but Genesis blinked. "You're…awfully observant, Shigaraki."

"Thank you. Now, how about you show yourself?"

Genesis nodded, and I heard a wheelchair wheel into the room, showing a red-headed girl sitting down.

"Hi." She said.

"Hello." Kurogiri greeted. "Oh, I just realized, I never introduced myself. I am Kurogiri."

"Hello, Kurogiri." Trickster said. "So pray tell, what brings you to Coil's base? Are you a business partner of his?"

"How about you answer our question first? Where are the Undersiders?"

"Maybe we don't need to know," Kurogiri stated.

I looked at him.

He leaned in and whispered, "We could always size them up if they're working with Coil. After all, Coil could try to have them kill us as well."

I put my hand on my chin. "Yes, I suppose that's possible."

"So, my question?" Trickster asked again.

"Yes," Kurogiri said. "We formed a beneficial relationship with him."

Trickster stared. "I notice you didn't say MUTUALLY beneficial."

"Because it's not." The voice said behind me.

I turned around to see. "Tattletale…Always a pleasure."

"Wish I could say the same Shiggy. To respond to your concern, Trickster. Trust me when I say their relationship is anything but mutually beneficial."

Kurogiri's eyes narrowed. "I suppose there's no point in hiding it." He turned to Trickster. "We're blackmailing your boss."

Trickster looked at Tattletale, who nodded.

He looked back at us, as tense as a screw in a bookshelf. "I see…And…do you think this will affect us?"

"I don't see how it matters," I said. "You can't do anything about it without angering your boss."

"Why would he care?"

"Cause if you stop us, the pictures we took will be uploaded to the internet by our partners."

"Pictures of what, exactly?"

"Well, spoiler alert." Regent walked in. "It's not of Coil blowing a guy."

"Unfortunately," Imp said.

The rest of The Undersiders walked in.

"Undersiders," I said.

"Shigaraki." they all said.

"Not mad about me humiliating your teammate?"

Tattletale frowned.

"I just wish she wouldn't needle people stronger than her," Grue said.

"Stronger could work out." I smiled. "But never smarter."

Tattletale's eyes narrowed. I smiled wider in response.

"You humiliated tattletale?" Sundancer asked. "How?"

"Didn't you listen?" Ballistic said. "He said he was smarter."

"Which actually makes sense. He did figure out my real form."

"I figured," Tattletale said.

I rolled my eyes at the desperate attempt to display dominance.

"You're such a jerk, you know that?" Skitter said

"I'm not a jerk, I'm a villain." I corrected. "It's entirely different."

"You still didn't answer my question." Trickster butted in. "What are these pictures that are apparently successfully blackmailing our boss?"

"Noelle."

Trickster stared. "What?"

My eyes widened. "Oh, I just realized…her team…it's yours. Her team is you guys…well that makes it awkward."

"You took pictures of Noelle…In order…to blackmail us!?" His Bile was showing. The rest of The Travelers stared. Genesis frowned. As did her beast.

"Not you, your boss. Don't take it personally."

"HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE THAT PERSONALLY!?" Great. He was irrational. "YOU'RE USING NOELLE AS A BARGAINING CHIP! NO ONE GETS TO TREAT HER LIKE THAT!"

"You'd think we'd be ok with that?" Ballistic said. "With you treating a teammate like trash? Using her against us?"

"How could you?" Sundancer asked. "We just want to get back home. You can't do this to us."

"And even if you think you can," Genesis said. "It doesn't matter. We'll stop you."

"How?" I asked. "What are you going to do about it? You try anything, and the picture gets uploaded everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere in the newspaper, everywhere on the internet. Everyone will know about it, and try their hardest to kill her, even the most moral ones. And I'm sure you don't want that." I leaned closer to Trickster. "You can't touch me."

Trickster clenched his fist. I could tell he wanted to punch me. Judging from the tenseness of his body and his pupil dilation.

But he couldn't.

For obvious reasons.

"Well, I guess I don't have to needle you for information. Considering you know what you're dealing with. We don't know a lot about your powers. Now that you have no reason to deny me information, I suggest you tell me, what are your powers?"

"They can tell you at any time, Shigaraki," Grue stated. "But we have to plan now."

"Plan for what?"

"None of your business," Tattletale said.

I scratched my itch, and Grue spoke up. "Uhhh, we're just trying to steal supplies for our territories."

"Your territories…y'know, it said that when the chips are down, the so-called civilized people…will eat each other. I guess you…and your boss…are proving that."

"We're not exactly civilized people." Hellhound folded her arms as she said it.

"Not to mention, We're fixing civilization." Skitter said.

"How?"

"By making territories, helping people, giving them food and water, we're ultimately helping people. There's nothing wrong with it. It's why we have to do this."

"Yes, cause the saviors have to be you." I pointed out. "How are you going to do it?"

"We formulated a plan with Tattletale and figured out a way to use all our powers the best way," Grue told me.

"I doubt she contributed a lot."

"Hey," Tattletale's fury was showing. "I doubt that it was really necessary to say that. Like you have a desperate need to put people down. Like a six-year-old."

How does she reach that conclusion about me, but not herself? That doesn't make any sense.

But to prove who's the bigger man. "You're right. I apologize."

Tattletale narrowed her eyes at me.

"If you Undersiders are going out," Ballistic started, "why are you in our room?"

"We need your help," Grue explained. "We need as much help as we can get for this."

"Why?" I asked. "Didn't you beat the heroes before?"

"Well, someone has done their research," Regent said. "Quick, what's my secret fetish?"

"Ohhhhh, can I guess?" Imp piped up.

I ignored them. "Well?"

Skitter walked forward. "We beat the hero before. But they got new assistance."

"More heroes came in to help?"

"Yes. plenty more came, specifically your Class 1-A."

What? "What?"

"What's wrong? Still hold a grudge?"

"I think it's more of the fact you said it was his Class 1-A," Regent suggested. "I don't think a villain goes to a hero school."

"You know what I mean."

"Yeah! That you're a racist!" Imp said.

"I'm not a racist!"

"Maybe you would've fit more with the Empire 88 than us."

"No, I wouldn't."

"She did think Kaiser was cool," Tattletale said.

"No, I didn't! Come on, guys! This isn't funny! I just meant that he-"

"I wanna help."

Everyone looked at me.

"What?" Trickster asked.

"You heard me. I wanna help. I want another shot at All Might."

Tattletale rolled her eyes. "You won't be able to kill him."

I scratched. "Then I guess I will be only helping your goals and not my own. You won't have a problem with that, right?"

You'll get in the way." Hellhound complained.

"With my Nomu, my intelligence, and my powers, I could easily beat most of the opponents..."

"We didn't make the plan to accommodate you." Grue told me.

"Then we'll make a new plan, a new strategy, One that'll be perfect. I'll even ask Coil if we could help. Wonder what he'll say to that…"

"Trust us," Kurogiri said. "With all of our abilities, you have no reason to deny our help. Your boss had displayed a degree in competence, but we were able to blindside him, weren't we?"

Grue sighed. For a second there, I thought he would deny us. As if we couldn't help him, he would deny us a chance to kill All Might out of bitterness and spite.

Instead, he said, "What will the new plan be?"

I smiled. "Let me answer your question with my original question. What exactly are your powers?"
