Chapter Twelve:

The one pointer ran right at me. I moved to the side as fast as I could and tried to touch it. But it was too fast. It turned around and ran at me. I turned around, ready to touch it, but it already leaped into the air, landed, and slammed into me. Sending me flying. I tried to get my footing and ran towards him. I tried to touch him, but it went backward like lightning to avoid me and ran into me, slamming into me again.

But this time I used my power.

I froze it. Putting one out of commission. Now for the others. I ran towards another one, ready to freeze it, only for it to leap into the air over me and for another one to ram into me. Feeling like Aegis just socked me in the liver. I nearly pissed myself. God, it was so painful. Another one ran at me, and I went to touch it. Only for it to go backward and slam into me at a high speed. Whacking me in the chest, bruising my ribs.

God, How was I supposed to be a great hero if I couldn't even beat some fucking robots?

The three bots ran at me. Ready to take me down.

Well, guess I'll die.

Suddenly, the robots were sent flying by a shock wave that came from nowhere. It deafened me and nearly sent me away. I looked from where it came from and saw Izuku, or Midoriya, aiming with his finger. Did that shock wave come from him? From his finger!?

Looks like it was damaged. Was his body not used to his power?

He lowered his hand and smiled. "Thought I'd give some help."

I frowned. "I don't need your help. You're a student. You're not an official hero."

Izuku returned the look. "It's not like you're a pro."

"But I am! I've fought more villains than you've ever seen in person!"

"Look, we're never going to do this unless we work together, so let's-LOOK OUT!"

I immediately rolled out of the way and saw a two-pointer tail trying to strike me. Its tail was ready for another strike.

Izuku finished. "So let's work together on this. I'll try to distract it and you-"

"I don't need your help."

Izuku glared at me. "Fine. but don't get in my way then!" Izuku jumped after it. As if he could do anything.

Though I guess if that previous display of power meant anything, he could.

I looked at the other teammates and U.A students, like Ochaco, or Uraraka, evading the tails of a two-pointer and grabbing it, throwing it into the air, and…watching it float away? That wasn't the capabilities of the robots. It seemed like it wasn't in control. Was it her power at work?

The bird guy and Kid win were doing a good job of beating the one and two-pointers. The bird guy's dark clone was kicking the robot's asses while Kid Win was watching his back and shooting energy blasts with his twin pistols at the robots.

The others were doing good as well. Rock guy was holding the robots in place while Tenya kicked them. Vista was causing the robots to attack each other with her power. And Glory Girl and Katsuski were LITERARY ripping the robots to shreds. One, two, and three-pointers alike. Damn, those guys were good.

I looked at Izuku, who wasn't exactly doing the best time. Spending most of his time grabbing onto the tail and getting swung around like a rag doll. At one point, he got on top and tried to get a hold. I tried my best to stifle my laughter. It was like someone riding a bull.

"SOME. ONE. HELP ME." Izuku was speaking in between the times his ass hit the cold, hard metal of the Robot's tail. That was it. I burst out laughing. I couldn't stifle it anymore. I actually tried my hardest, but I couldn't bite my tongue any longer. I started rolling on the floor. In pain for the outburst of guffawing.

"THIS. ISN'T. FUNNY." Izuku started speaking again. In a desperate attempt to get me to help him, no doubt. But that only made me laugh harder. I started to bang on the ground.

"CLOCK. BLOCKER. WILL YOU. JUST. SAVE. ME!?"

I actually tried to stifle my laughter. To hold my glee in. but it only hurt my chest. So I let it out again.

"CLOCK. BLOCKER!"

I was a teenage hyena.

Suddenly, I heard the robot burst into pieces. And Izuku fell to the ground. When he did, I saw him with two purple bloody fingers.

"YOU BROKE ANOTHER FINGER!?" I shouted.

"It's not like you were helping me! All you did was laugh at my expense. My god! You are such a terrible hero!"

"DON'T! Say that. You're not even a hero. The hell do you know about being one?"

"More than you. How did you even become a hero?"

"Because I have a power!"

"As if that's all you need to become a hero?"

"That is not what I-" suddenly, a THREE POINTER crashed into me and Izuku, sending us both flying.

I held out a piece of paper and used my power on it. Stopping me in place. While Izuku didn't have a way to stop me and simply grabbed me, mooching off my success.

I let go of the piece of paper, all while clutching my side. "This is the last three-pointer! We get this, we win!"

"Perfect!" Izuku grabbed me? What was he doing?

"Izuku…what are you doing?"

"This!" He picked me up, and spun me around. "FASTBALL SPECIAL!"

He threw me…the motherfucker threw me, I went across the battlefield, flying IN THE AIR and slammed RIGHT INTO THE DAMN ROBOT.

I used my power on it before it could try anything. And just like that, the robot was frozen.

Oh…I get it… After thirty seconds, the robot unfroze, and we won the training match. Everyone cheered and celebrated the victory.

Beside Katsuki, who scoffed and walked away.

Izuku walked to me. "Well, that went well."

"You knew I would freeze it."

"Yep."

So you threw me to take it out as quickly as possible. Using a cliche move."

"It doesn't matter if it's cliche. It worked. That's all that matters."

"My broken pelvis would disagree!"

"Your pelvis isn't broken."

"You wouldn't know. And it was a joke."

"Maybe if it was funny, I wouldn't take it seriously."

I clenched my fist and took a step. "Piss off, Izuku."

"Why don't you-"

Before we could get any closer, Glory Girl and Sero got between us and pushed us apart.

"Cut it out!" Glory Girl shouted.

"Woah, guys. Cool it." Sero said.

I turned my back to him. "Whatever. He shouldn't have started it."

"Are you five!?" Glory Girl practically screamed.

"Yeah, what next? You gonna get mad because he took the red toy car?" Sero said.

"No, but he was the one that threw me for no reason."

"It was a strategy." Izuku defended.

"And you didn't think to tell me that strategy!?"

"You wouldn't take it seriously. After all, it came from a student."

"Why are you so sensitive? If you have a problem, just-"

"Don't." Glory Girl warned. "That's enough. No more fighting."

"I wasn't going to fight. I was just go-"

"Unlikely, considering how angry you've been. I don't want you to take out your anger on a U.A student and leave us with poor relations. Leave him alone."

That stung. Knowing that I made fun of Gallant, her boyfriend, the last time I showed my anger around her. That fact she was persecuting me means she still hasn't forgiven me. Which is reasonable. So why did I feel hurt?

"Ok." I said. "I'll back off."

"Midoriya?" Sero said.

Izuku looked at me and sighed. "Yeah, I'll shut up."

"Good. Didn't want this to turn into a fistfight."

Izuku laughed.

So wait…he found him funny!?

Ochaco and Vista came around. Ochaco spoke first. "Hey, guys! That was a fun match, right?"

"Yeah!" Izuku exclaimed. "It was great! Good exercise!"

"Noticed you having some problems, Clock," Vista said.

I slumped my shoulders. "It's hard trying to touch these things, they're too fast-

Ochaco's eyebrow quirked. "Too fast shouldn't-

"-too smart."

"-be…oh you said too smart?"

I hummed and nodded.

"Oh. Well, you just need a better strategy!" Ochaco put her fist in the air, then put it directly in front of me. "What I do is, well my power is anything I touch with all five fingers becomes weightless. It has its downsides. I can't turn it off, so I constantly have to make sure I'm not touching it with all five fingers or else I have to release it afterward and return it to its original weight. And that makes me nauseous, so it's better if I don't do it often. But I get around to having to touch them by touching them first, dropping them with my power, and using the fractured pieces and throwing them at the enemy! It works really well! I got 31 enemy points at the U.A exam by doing that.""

"Wait," I waited until she was finished, "you have to touch it with all five fingers for it to work?"

"Yeah." She answered.

"Why?" Sero asked. "isn't it how it works with powers around here?"

I scratched my head. "No, at least, not for me. My powers are to freeze anything in time for 30 to 10 minutes after I touch it with ANY part of my body."

"Really!?" Ochaco exclaimed.

"Yeah, I can use it after someone hits me and it'll work just fin.w five fingers are not required. And I can turn it off."

Ochaco frowned and looked to the ground. "Lucky…"

"Well, that's just great. A first-year student is having an easier time than me with a weaker power."

"It's not the strength of the power, it's how you use it! And you're a pro hero! You'll figure something out!"

"If you say so."

"I looked at Midoriya's notes. He has some helpful tips for you." Glory Girl said.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I'll be sure to check them."

Izuku gave me a stink eye. Clearly not convinced.

"What?"

"Nothing," he said. "Let's go another round."

"What!? Are you shitting me? That round was hard enough. Let's take a break."

"We already took a break, Clockblocker." Izuku was speaking through grit teeth. The hell was his problem?

"Deku. Calm down." Ochaco said.

"Yeah," Sero said, "It's not SO bad to take a break."

"But we already took a break!"

"I know," Ochaco said. "And I agree with you. We can just say it in a calmer way."

I raised my hand. Just to let it fall. "What?"

"We can keep going for another round. Maybe take a three or four-minute break."

"three or four minutes?"

"To recharge our batteries in case the more physical ones are tired. We can go afterwards.

"Is that how you guys do things?" I asked.

"No, we rarely train with these robots."

"Maybe you don't understand how hard it is then."

"It's easy. You just have to have a good strategy."

"I DO. Have a good strategy."

She held her hands up. "Woah."

"Clock. Chill." Vista whispered. "Remember, international incident?"

"Fuck, alright, fine, ignore me."

"I will, thank you." Izuku snarked. "Listen, no one ever got successful without putting in hard work."

My eyebrow quirked. "Why are you looking to the left like that's not true?"

"Stop analyzing me!" Izuku whined. "I'm saying what I think. We need to put in a lot of hard work to succeed."

"I agree," Ocacho said. "We can't just stop while we're working! Or else we'd never want to get back to work!"

"Let's ask our leaders and see what they have to say," I suggested.

"Fine." Izuku said. "Iida! Weld!"

Tenya looked our way, said something to Weld, and grabbed his arm to super speed over to our way.

"Hello, Midoriya! Uraraka!" Tenya greeted. "Do you need us for something?"

"Please tell me you guys aren't arguing," Weld asked.

"Define arguing." Vista elbowed me in the gut. And Glory Girl shushed me.

"We want to know if we should keep training," Izuku said.

"You don't have to ask!" Tenya said.

"It's obvious!" Weld agreed.

Goddammit.

"Of course we will!"

"Of course we won't!"

They said this at the same time.

They said the same thing at the same time afterward too. "Wait. what?"

Weld spoke first. "Why do you want to keep going? Most of our members are tired."

"Only slightly. They haven't been pushed to their limits. We need to do that to stay strong."

"Our teammates are showing clear signs of fatigue."

"Yes, that is rather strange. Does your team not go to regular training exercises?"

Weld shook his head. "We're a little too busy helping The Protectorate defend the city to make training a regular exercise."

"That's too bad. Training will help you keep on your toes in case disaster strikes."

"They are greater losses." Weld said.

"Not to mention, we don't need help from a student," I said. "We already have years of experience."

"Oh, I didn't mean to offend you. I only meant-"

"I'm sure Tenya-oooh I mean, Iida," Glory Girl said, "would make us even better."

"So they think they're better than us?" I said.

"Why are you so uptight about them?"

"What? I'm not. I just-"

"It's ok if you misunderstand me." Tenya said. "I could do a better job of communicating. Unless the problem is where we come from?"

"No."

"Then I will explain myself better. Nothing is better than hands-on experience. Which makes you better than us. But training can be a way to learn without risking physical and mental health."

"Well, like Weld said, we don't have a choice."

"Especially now that we JUST faced an Endbringer attack." Glory Girl said. "We can't exactly waste time training."

"Training isn't a waste!" Tenya almost whined.

"Training is never a waste!" Ocacho agreed.

"So instead of saving people, you want to just punch tin cans?" Vista said.

"How about we ask the students and Wards?"

We all looked at Izuku. "The choice includes them as well."

I folded my arms. Ochaco shrugged.

"That's a good idea." Glory Girl said.

"Yes," Tenya put his hand on his chin. "That would be a preferable method."

I tried to pinch my nose, only for my fingers to just rub my mask.

Weld walked forward to the group. "Hello everyone! Me and Iida, The U.A student's leader, want to know which one of you wants to keep training and which one of you wants to take a break."

The Wards and students looked at each other.

Weld continued. "All those who want to take a break. Raise your hand."

All of the Wards raised their hands, along with the pink girl, the electric guy, Sero, and the rock guy.

"Ok, now everyone who wants to keep training, raise your hand."

Everyone else raised their hands.

"I guess that settles it."

"Yep, those students are working," I spoke loud enough for everyone to hear me.

I turned more than a few heads.

"Well, we shouldn't all fight because some of us want to fight. The ones that want to fight should be allowed to take a break."

Tenya put his hand on his chin. "That's true. I suppose anyone that doesn't want to fight, doesn't have to."

"You're right." Weld said. He turned to the other heroes. "Everyone, who voted for taking a break, take five. Everyone who didn't, have at it."

The heroes nodded and went about doing their business. I felt pretty proud of myself for coming up with something everyone can agree on. But I felt MORE proud of myself, when I saw Izuku glared at me. I would've given him a cheeky smile if I knew he could've seen it.

"Ok, I guess you're training, Izuku."

"It's Deku or Midoriya." Izuku was speaking through grit teeth. "Actually, to you, it's just Midoriya."

"Whatever, it's the same thing."

Izuku was infuriated.

"It's too bad you're training." Glory Girl said. "I was hoping we could talk more about our notes.

"Really?"

Glory Girl nodded.

Izuku smiled. "Ok. Iida," He turned to Tenya, "can I take a break with GLORY GIRL."

Yes, he said it like that. And yes, he looked at me when he said it.

"Ok, Midoriya." Tenya said. "You can take a break."

Izuku nodded. "Thank you."

Izuku shot a smirk at me. Yeah, like I'd be bothered by him hanging out with us. I don't fucking care. I don't fucking care.

"Ok, let's go, Midoriya." Glory Girl said.

"My friends call me Deku."

"Are you saying we're friends?" Glory Girl had a smirk as she said it.

"Uhhhhhhh…I mean, sure! If you want to…Do you want to?"

"Yes."

"Oh, then yes."

"I'm not calling you Deku," I said.

Izuku shrugged. "Ok."

I got a glare from Glory girl and a smile from Izuku for that. God, that was so petty of me. It was petty of him too. Why are people like this?

I walked with Izuku and Glory Girl while the others stayed behind to talk because it's just my luck that I would have them with me right? Two people with grudges against me. At least Glory Girl has a good reason to be angry. Izuku, however, just hates me for little reason. Ever since we first met he's been snarling at me. The fuck did I do?

How could he hate me but defend Katsuki? It doesn't make any fucking sense.

"So can I see your notes again?" Izuku asked.

"Sure!" Glory Girl pulled out the folder her notes were in. "Here."

Izuku took it and flipped through the pages. "Wow, your costumes are so cool! I wish I could come up with designs like that."

"I told you, most of the heroes in those notes already have costumes."

"I was talking about the hero's design at the bottom of the right pages. The ones that have them. Those were the designs you came with, right?"

Glory Girl nodded.

"Well, they're great. As I said, the only design I came up with was a mock All Might one."

"That's fine." She was speaking through a strained smile. Glory Girl ABSOLUTELY hates rip-off costumes, finding 99% of them 'tacky'. So I could tell she was struggling to be kind to him. Why was she trying with him?

"It's really not. You're way better at it than me. Teach me."

"Why? I do that for fun. It's not important to superhero fighting. You want to talk about something interesting? I LOVE your analysis of the heroes AND the villains' powers."

"You mean my notes on their quirks? That's nothing special."

"Nothing special!? You figured out that my strength and durability came from a force field! Only my family knows, except for one villain, but she could only figure it out because they were literary a psychic."

"So what are you trying to say?"

"You're awesome, is what I'm trying to say. You can teach several people about how to fight other supervillains."

"Being a superhero isn't only about fighting, y'know."

"I know, I'm just a Cerebrum Parahuman."

Izuku and I looked confused, and admittingly he seemed to get it before I could. "Oh! You're a neurodivergent Quirker!"

She smiled. "Yeah…pretty much."

"Well, there's nothing wrong with that! You're just like everyone else!"

"Not really. I'm more prone to conflict. I get rewards for starting it."

"Isn't that a stereotype?"

Glory girl shook her head. "Nope. it's a biological fact. Like, a real biological fact, not some Neo-Nazi biological fact."

"I always thought that WAS some Neo-Nazi biological fact. You're not an internalized quirkest, are you?"

"I don't have a quirk!" Glory Girl laughed. "I have a cerebrum power. MY powers don't come from genetics. They come from my brain."

"Well…even so!"

"It's ok, I don't mind people saying things like I just did. It's better than ignoring it and not getting help."

"Oh…" Izuku put his hand to his chin. "Never thought about it like that."

"I'm just honestly surprised you were jumping to my defense. You wouldn't get that here.

"What do you mean? Are other people here quirkist?"

Glory Girl shrugged. "Sorta. There's way more bigotry against metahumans here especially against Case 53s, and Case 54s."

"You mean animals that have got quirks?"

"Yes."

"That's horrible!"

"It's ok. It's not the common opinion. And some heroes here tend to be jerks."

"Like Shadow Stalker?"

"Just like her," I said.

Izuku didn't even turn to me as he spoke. "I wasn't asking you."

"Well, maybe I wanted to tell you, anyway."

Izuku glared at me.

"He's allowed to speak to you, Izuku." Glory Girl said.

Izuku mumbled something under his breath. Couldn't hear it. Something like 'everybody' and 'me'?

What does that mean? Did he think everybody was against him? Was he delusional?
It was, like, the opposite of that.

"Fine," Izuku said. "Do you guys have any databases?"

"Of course we do." Glory Girl said. "Why?"

"Is it ok if I were to check them?"

Me and Glory Girl looked at him.

"You know, to update my notes. I need more information on Skitter."

I whipped my head around at him. "You can't fight Skitter again."

"I didn't fight her once."

"You know what I mean."

"I won't fight her unless she attacks first. I just want to prepare for it, just in case."

"Always prepared, aren't ya, Deku?"

I turned around to the electric guy and Kid Win tailing behind us.

"Hey Kid," I said.

"Hey Clock." Kid Win said.

"Hey…uhhhhhh."

"Kaminari." The electric guy said. I guess that was his name.

"Kaminari." Izuku said. "What's up?"

"Just going to Kid Win's room. He's asking me to charge his tech."

"I want to see if he can do it better than my fusion reactor." Kid Win almost squeed.

"Well, have fun," I said.

"Wait," Kaminari held his hands up, "I want to know what you guys are doing."

"Oh, nothing." Izuku scratched the back of his head. "I was just going to fill my notebook."

"You mean those quirk analyses you did?" Kaminari asked.

"I mean the quirk analyses I still do."

"You have to show me some of them one day."

"Yeah, I'm sure they're really cute," I said.

Izuku glared at me with grit teeth. The fuck did I do?

"Calm down Izuku." Glory Girl said. "And shut up Clock. They are good."

"He has a thinker power?" Kid Win asked.

"Thinker…oh, you mean an intelligence quirk!" Izuku said.

Kid Win nodded.

"Well, no, I don't. I just like to study quirks."

Kid Win turned his head towards me.

"Don't look at me. I don't even think they're that good."

"You read them?" Kaminari said.

"Ummmmm…no."

"Then how do you-"

"Look, I don't need you analysing me alright?" I said.

"Ok, dude. Whatever you say. So you were going to analyze the wards?"

Izuku shook his head. "Nope, the villains."

Kaminari was so shocked, that he literary lit up. "WHAT!? YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE VILLAINS! WHAT WOULD ALL MIGHT SAY!? WHAT WOULD AIZAWA-"

He grabbed his shirt.

"Kaminari…"

"SAY!? YOU WOULD-"

"Kaminari! I wasn't going to fight them. I was going to the databases to find research on their powers. Like videos, or text…y'know, like I usually do?"

Kaminari let go. "Oh…ok! I…guess that's better. Persevere!"

"Thanks!"

Glory Girl and I turned our heads. The glory girl spoke first. "Persevere?"

"Oh, it's our version of good luck."

"So it's some weird Japanese thing?" I asked.

"It's not weird!" Izuku said. "It just means to try your hardest."

"What if it's not enough?"

"Hard work is always enough! If you didn't win, it just means someone worked harder than you."

I titled my head. "Something tells me between the authority streak and the hard work fetish, you guys have some particular opinions on criminals."

"You mean that they're all bloodthirsty, animalistic, monsters that need to be put away?"

"Jesus kid, I fight villains daily, and even I don't think like that!"

"Then maybe you're not a good hero." Izuku had a cheeky smirk.

I grabbed his shirt. "Say that to me again."

Kid Win automatically pulled me away as Kaminari did for Izuku.

"Woah Clock! Calm down!" Kid Win said.

"Yeah dudes, chill!" Kaminari said.

"NO!" I said. "If he wants to start something, let's fucking start something!"

We walked toward each other.

"You're the one starting something!" Izuku pointed and claimed.

Right before we could come to blows, Glory Girl grabbed the both of us and flew into the air. "That is enough! You two are acting like children! If you don't stop, I'll get Aizawa AND Piggot!"

"Woah," I said. "No need to get the big bosses."

"Yeah, we'll get along." Izuku said. "Promise."

"Good," Glory Girl dropped us. "that's a start. We're being honest?"

Why did she look at me when she said it?

Anyway, Izuku and I nodded.

Glory Girl came down. "That's good. You ready to check out the databases, Deku?"

"Yep! Let's go!"

Izuku and Glory Girl walked away to the data room. Leaving me behind.

I breathed a sigh of relief. "I guess that worked out well."

It wasn't even full second after I said that when Kid Win clocked me in the fucking face.

"OW! What the fuck!?"

"Woah dude," Kaminari said, "language."

"Not the time!"

"I know, I just-"

"Why did you do that!?" I turned to Kid Win.

"He was insecure! Shy! He was hurt because you hurt him! You're the reason he hates you!"

"So you couldn't have just told me that instead of PUNCHING ME!?"

Kid Win didn't respond.

"Well?"

"You're right." He finally said. "I…I just…'

"Have you been taking your…y'know."

"Couldn't. Endbringer destroyed all drug stores. Have to wait for an outside shipment."

"" Oh. Ok. it's fine then. just…I don't know."

"I'm still sorry."

"I know."

"Wait," Kaminari held his hands up, "Why'd you forgive him? He punched you right in the face and you forgive him for that!?"

"You would get it if you knew his real identity."

"Oh…ok, whatever."

I turned to Kid Win again. "You still angry?"

"Yes, why'd you make fun of him?"

"I was just teasing."

"I know, but you promised not to do it if they were hurt by it, or if they didn't have it coming."

"He was the one that gave me a dirty look the SECOND I walked out the door. I didn't even do anything yet!"

"Then talk to him. Try to work it out."

I sighed. "Ok, fine."

"Is that why you were glad you didn't have to hang out with him anymore?" Kaminari asked.

"Yes, that is why."

"Well, that's too bad."

I turned to see Aizawa and Present Mic walking toward me.

Aizawa continued. "Because we have to get the work. We have to get dinner to people."

"Oh, the next shipment."

"THAT'S RIGHT!" Present Mic said.

"I'll get Izuku." I said. Trying my best not to sound dejected.

"No, if he has a problem with you, it wouldn't make sense for you to get him. Kaminari will."

"Yes, sir!" Kaminari said.

Kaminari walked away to find Izuku. I was going to go to Piggy to see what my commands were.

Until Aizawa grabbed me. "Before you go Clockblocker. You won't know Izuku for long. Maybe for a couple days. But while we're here, we can't leave a bad taste in each other mouths. Try to make up with him."

I nodded. "Ok."

"That's enough. Go."

Later

"VISTA!" All Might called out.

"Here!" Vista said.

"GLORY GIRL!"

"Here!"

"YOUNG BAKUGO!"

I didn't bother listening to the rest. Not when I saw Izuku was glaring at me. We were taking roll call in the lobby. We were supposed to be paying attention. Has he been looking at me the entire time? Why would he even bother?

What the hell was the guy problem? Why was he so devoted to hating me? I did nothing wrong! That fucking Japanese fuck can just fuck off and-

"CLOCKBLOCKER!"

I turned around. Everyone was looking at me.

"What?" I was genuinely confused.

"I'VE BEEN CALLING YOUR NAME!" All Might said. "AND YOU'VE BEEN IGNORING ME TO GLARE AT YOUNG MIDORIYA FOR THE WHOLE TIME!"

"What!?" Glory Girl said.

"Wait!" I blurted out. "Before you say anything, Izuku was glaring at me first."

"WHY ARE YOU-" All Might stopped himself. "WAIT, WHAT!?"

"He was glaring at me first." I said.

All Might looked at Izuku, who sheepishly scratched his head. "Why? That Isn't like you, Young Midoriya!"

"How would you know?" Piggot said.

"Oh, I just-"

"Actually, don't tell me. It doesn't matter. Neither does their petty teenage drama." She turned to me and Izuku. "So I expect the two if you to get over it."

Izuku and I just signed and said. "Yes, Ma'am."

"Now, if we can get back to what's important. We need to get dinner to the people of Brockton Bay. We gave them breakfast, we gave them lunch. It's time for the last meal."

We all nodded.

"Now, this is going to be a little different. Giving food at night is just asking for some desperate idiot to attack in a desperate attempt to get more for himself. I hear a group has already dealt with that. Clockblocker?"

I nodded. "Yes, Me and Hanta-"

Hanta coughed and said. "Sero."

"Right. Me and Sero-"

"Ummm it's I and Sero," Tenya said.

I half sighed, half growled. "Fine, I and Sero-"

"We were there too." Izuku spat.

"Can you shut up!?"

"Clockblocker!" Piggot said.

Everyone was looking at me.

Shit. "Shit, ahhhh, I'm sorry. They were just interrupting me."

"Well, I expect you to handle it more maturely."

I nodded. "Ok. and yes, we fought someone with fireballs for hands. Or was able to shoot fireballs out of his hands."

"Which means there are other villains out there," Aizawa said.

"Possibly rogues as well," Piggot added.

Aizawa turned to Piggot with a weird expression. Confusion? Disbelief? "If they're using powers without government oversight, they're villains."

"Maybe that's how it works in your country. But not in ours, and I expect you to follow our rules while we're here."

Aizawa seemed a little shocked.

I mean, he blinked. But that was enough for him.

"Of course, forgive me. I wasn't aware." Aizawa said.

Piggot turned. "Anyway, it's dangerous. The only reason we're doing this is because w expectd the villains to not attack us like usual after an Endbringer attack. People tend to band together after that. Not this time. So I expect you all to be on alert. And to listen to your higher power. Students, listen to the Wards and Protectorate, Wards, listen to the Protectorate."

Tenya raised his hand.

"Yes, Tenya?" Piggot said.

"Uhhhhhhhhh," Iida was trying to find the words. "Do I have to listen to orders? I wouldn't mind having to, but I just wanted to know because I happen to be class president."

"Don't see how that's relevant."

"Because that class president is basically the leader of the class," Aizawa explained. "Not to mention it's rude to call a Japanese citizen by their first name, If you paid attention, you would know that."

Piggot forced a smile. "I can't be expected to notice every piece of a conversation. I apologize if I seemed rude or misinformed."

"Of course."

At least the leaders weren't getting along either.

"So this is how we do things. Te-" Piggot stopped herself. "Iida, you can command your group. But not a ward. If a ward tells you to do something. Do it. And if they tell you to give an order to your team, give the order."

"Yes, of course."

"That goes for your Wards too, in relation to the Protectorate. But I'm sure you already know that."

"Wait, does that mean I have to listen to Clockblocker!?" Izuku said.

"Tch!" I vocalized.

Izuku gave me a look.

"MIDORIYA!" Tenya said. "YOU CAN'T TALK BACK TO THE PRO HEROES!"

"I wasn't! I was asking a question! I wasn't actually talking back to the pro heroes! I mean, the kids aren't even really pro heroes, but I would be talking back to the directors and I-"

"Midoriya!" Aizawa said. A little out of character for him to react like that. "That's enough."

"Do your students not see our Wards as actual heroes?" Piggot asked.

Asui raised her hand. "I can answer that."

"Asui.," Aizawa's hair raised up. Wait, what the fuck? Why? Was it his power? "I can answer for myself."

Asui nodded.

"I can't control what every student thinks. But I can trust you it's not what the majority thinks, or the pro heroes."

"Good enough," Piggot said. "And yes Midoriya. You will have to listen to Clockblocker."

"But-" Izuku was cut off.

"I thought I said your petty teenage problems didn't matter."

Izuku made a noise. Did Japanese people really do that? Make weird anime noises?

"Yes ma'am."

"That's all. Go."

Later

I worked with Izuku to take hold of the box. The chilly wind was making my armor cold. But we could work with it.

We haven't left the PRT headquarters. We were still there. Just putting them on the truck. Along with the rest of the students and actual heroes.

Izuku and I stayed silent for almost the whole time. The less I said, the less conflict there was, and the less conflict there was, the better.

But if what Glory Girl said was true, then that would be more difficult than I would think.

Everyone else was working, too. Except for Katsuki, the explosion kid. He was just leaning against a wall, frowning. Not doing jack shit. Even Grape Guy was working!

Izuku and I loaded the box into the truck. "Come on," I said. "Let's go get the next one."

I heard him scoff, but I lead him to the next box, anyway.

"What's your problem?" I asked.

He sighed. "Nothing."

"No, fuck that. You want to start something, speak up and tell me what the fuck the problem is."

Izuku looked at me weirdly. "Why are you so aggressive? Are you a cerebrum parahuman too?"

"Wh…uh…look just tell me what I did that was so horrible to you and we can be on our merry way?"

"Maybe you should try to patronize Kacchan. See how that goes for you." Then he walked away.

What? What was he talking about? "Wait a second," I caught up, "I didn't patronize you, even if you mean now. I was just giving an order."

"You weren't JUST giving me an order." He said. "And I wasn't talking about that."

"Then what bro? You just jump on me for almost no reason. I make jokes, I shit on Katsuki for being a prick and all you do is insult me."

"That because…" He groaned. "You wouldn't get it. It's…cultural differences."

"That shouldn't matter."

"But it does. People are different. And sometimes, they just can't get along. Let's just leave it at that."

I sighed. "Fine."

We made it to the other box, where Grape Guy and…I think…Kaminari were at.

"Hi Mineta, Hi Kaminari." Izuku said.

"Hey, Midoriya. Wanna see something cool?" Mineta, which I guess was his name, said.

"No, dude!"

"Come on Kaminari. What's the problem?"

"We can't assault these girls!" Kaminari…wait what? "Can't we just get them to wear some tight spandex?"

"More than half of them already do that!" Mineta said. "And plus-"

"Waitwaitwaitwaitwait, You're going to ASSAULT these girls?"

"No, we aren't."

"I'm not," Kaminari said.

"If you let me finish, you would know that's not the case. I'm not going to assault them. I'm going to show you something cool."

I rolled my eyes. "Is this a trick?"

"All you have to say is no if you don't want to see it."

"What if we do?" Izuku said.

"Dude!" I said.

"Ok, if you want to," Mineta said. And then placed his hair? Or…balls? On the floor to his side.

"Wait!" Izuku said. "I didn't say I wanted to-"

"Watch this!"

He jumped into the balls, only to bounce off them. He was going SUPER fast. It looked like he was going to…

Glory Girl?

Why was he?

Then he slammed and latched onto her leg!? What the fuck!?

"GOTCHU!" He said.

Everyone, including Glory Girl and our leaders. Saw him look up Glory Girl skirt.

Only to be disappointed "awwwwww, you're wearing shorts under there…"

Glory Girl grit her teeth. "You little creep! GET OFF OF ME!"

She started to shake her right leg violently to get him off.

Mineta's voice was vibrating. "Woah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah! I'll-ll-ll Ge-e-e-et o-ff-ff-ff wh-en-en-en yo-u-u-u st-o-o-o-op shaking it!"

"Don't phrase it that way! Ugh! Fine!" She stopped shaking her leg.

Once that happened, Mineta got off with jelly legs, stumbling like both his legs were asleep.

"You're a little creep, you know that?" The girl with the big chest, think her name was Momo, said.

"Why can't you just leave people alone, Mineta?" The frog girl asked.

"What are you talking about?" Mineta said. "I was just showing the guys a trick."

"That's BULLSHIT!" Glory Girl said. "You were literary disappointed I was wearing SHORTS!"

"No, I'm being serious! The guys wanted me to show them. Right, guys?" He turned to us.

He expected to fucking defend him after that.

Izuku scratched the back of his head. "I might've implied it, but-"

"See? They wanted to see it!" Mineta interrupted to defend himself. "I only said what I said because, well, might as well make the most out of a bad situation."

Glory Girl gave him a livid look. "Oh my god! You're a little pervert!"

"Why do you have to be so creepy, Mineta?" Ochaco said.

"I Improvised! It was impulse! I didn't think it through!"

"Just don't do it again," Momo said.

Wait, they were going to let him off that easily?

Glory Girl thought the same thing. "That's it? We just tell him not to do it again and that's fucking it?"

"We can't exactly stop him." Pink girl said.

"Yes, we can!" Vista said. "We're not going to let him sexually harass and borderline assault a fellow teammate and fucking get away from it!"

"Wow," Ochaco said, "You guys are really upset."

"What do you expect?" Weld said. "He's harassing a teammate and your team isn't doing anything!"

"You'll have to forgive me!" Tenya bowed. "And us! Japan's culture is different from yours. We're used to things along these lines!"

What? Are you fucking shitting me?

"Oh, I wasn't talking about you, Iida. I was talking about-"

"Talking about what? Us? You Americans have no right judging our culture." The frog girl said.

"Hey!" Kid Win cried. "The fuck is that supposed to-"

"That's enough," Aizawa said, "This will not happen again."

"But Aizawa!" Mineta cried. "I was just-"

Aizawa's scarf wrapped itself around Mineta. It hanged him upside down. Was it strangling him?

"I don't want to hear lies, Mineta. Take responsibility for your actions and accept the punishment."

Mineta was choking! Holy shit! He was strangling him!

"Aizawa!" Weld cried.

But once Aizawa glared at him, he shut up. He's such a bitch. Why isn't anyone doing anything?

Guess it's up to me. "Don't back down! He's going to kill him!"

"No, I'm not," Aizawa said. "Humans can survive up to three minutes without air, and stay conscious for a whole minute without it."

"Cutting a little close then, aren't you?" Piggot said. "Let him breathe, Aizawa. The kid needs air."

Aizawa eventually relented and dropped him. He was literary gasping for air.

"Do we need to take a break?" Aizawa said. In a tone that told you not to say yes.

"No." we all said.

"Good. If you need assistance or have a question about the task at hand, the pros will help you."

We all nodded and went back to the task. This class is different from all the others we've seen. From all the others we taught, as guest teachers, I mean.

They were more volatile, more short-tempered, and DEFINITELY more stupid. They were weirder than any other class we've met. The sooner this was done, the better.

"Hey Clock," Sero said. Walking up to me picking up the next box.

"Hey, Sero." I said.

Izuku gave me a look. "Hi Sero!"

Sero didn't notice. "Want me to pick up this box, Midoriya? The pros got Bakugo to work with us but he's being a little bitch."

"Oh yeah, I'd love to work with Kacchan!"

"Ok, have fun."

Izuku skipped away.

"Mineta is kinda weird, isn't he?" Sero said.

What? Him too?

Don't want to start a fight. "Yeah, he is."

"Want me to tell you a funny story?"

I turned to him. "Shoot."

"Mineta tried to do that crap with Yaoyorozu, tried to get her to fall ass first on some balls, so he could pull her off of them, 'cause they stick."

"Oh, I see. Did it work?"

"Nope, what happened was, Mineta tried to get her to trip on some bricks," Sero was snickering. "But Yaoyorozu didn't FALL for it."

I giggled at the joke. A fly landed on me, I quickly swatted it away.

"So after Yaoyorozu stepped over the bricks, Mineta tried again, this time-"

Another fly landed on me. I swatted it and killed it this time.

"But Yaoyorozu just stepped over him and told him to get out of the floor, which made Mineta REALLY pissed, so he just-"

Damn, what is with all the fucking flies? I already swatted away two and now there's another one landing on me! It may be the same one but-

No, there are two more on me! And two on Sero! And three on-

Wait…oh-no…

"How many flies does everyone have on them!?" I shouted.

None of the Class 1-A knew what I meant, because of course they didn't. Meanwhile, Weld did.

And he was quicker to the command than me. "EVERYONE LOOK OUT! IT'S AN AMBUSH!"

"Brilliant deduction." The mist said.

Wait, what the fuck? The mist said?

I wasn't hallucinating. The black mist that was surrounding us was talking. "Unfortunately, it will not save you. Now begone, Prepare to shrivel in suffering."

"The mist villain is here!?" Tenya said.

"How did Clock and Weld know!?" Ochaco said.

"I thought we were getting attacked by Skitter!" Sero said.

So did I…They seemed to confirm it too. Wait…They fought this guy? If that's the case, then this means…

Before I could finish the thought, the mist surrounded us now. Suddenly, darkness appeared from the mist. Covering us.

"Sero? Kid Win? Vista? Anyone!?"

Someone touched me from the side. I jumped. "Who's there!?"

He was talking. One of our guys. But who was it? Izuku? Flechette?

I felt tape on my armor. Sero. "Sero? Are you there?"

He said something. But I couldn't hear him..

This would be a good time to know morse code.

I was hearing roars from the distance. Wait…how? This darkness blocks out sound, obviously. How could I hear-

Someone else touched me. Someone with hard skin, either Weld or Kirishima. I can't believe I'm saying this, but please be Weld.

"Weld? Can you hear me? Something going on down there. Feel my body to feel where I'm pointing. I don't know if you can hear me, but-"

Suddenly, when I put my hand on him, He punched me in the gut and I went flying, colliding into Sero.

"OW! What the hell!?"

I got up. Definitely not Weld, so who?...

Suddenly, Sero threw me into the air with the tape. I realized why when I went in the air, away from the darkness. But Grue, at least I think it's Grue, completely covered the entire area in darkness.

Which I now realize means no one will be able to catch me.

Fuck.

I'm going to have to freeze myself. It's the only way. I'm already slowing down. I'm going to start falling soon, If I don't freeze myself now.

That's when the darkness suddenly blew away, around the area of Izuku and Katsuki. Did they do that? How did they do that? What were those humanoid things next to the other heroes?

And what the fuck is that giant beast connected to the bird guy? Was that his dark shadow? And why was it shrinking no-

Oh shit, I'm falling!

"SOMEBODY CATCH ME!" I said.

I had my back to the ground, eyes up to the sky. It looked like no one was going to catch me. Until I heard a whooshing noise and…

Someone stopped me. It was Glory Girl. She caught me.

"My…hero?

"Shut up, Clock."

Ochaco gasped. "LOOK!"

Glory Girl set me down, and I saw where Ochaco was pointing.

The Undersiders were stealing our supplies.

"Uhhhh…Hi?" Imp said.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! VILLAINS!" Mineta hid behind Kaminari.

"Where'd they come from?" Kaminari asked.

"Who cares? Just kill them!" Katsuki said.

He propelled himself with his explosion, making a beeline towards The Undersiders until Grue hit him with his darkness, causing him to sprawl.

"I'LL GET THE PROS!" Tenya said, super speeding away

"PIGGOT, GET OUT OF HERE!" Aizawa said. Piggot nodded and ran.

"HEROES, ATTACK!" Weld said.

Before we could attack them, Skitter brought her swarm from the portal and surrounded us. Me, Weld, Kirishima, and Glory Girl would be safe…

Everyone else…

"WELD!" I shouted.

"DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME!" He said. "EVERYONE FOCUS FIRE ON SKITTER AND HELLHOUND! THEY ARE PRIORITY TARGETS!"

"NO, THE NOMU ARE!" Izuku said.

He's being difficult at a time like this?

"HOW THE FUCK ARE THE NOMU HIGHER PRIORTIY TARGETS!?" I asked.

"Because one of the Nomus could fight All Might." Aizawa sa…wait, what!?"

"WHAT!?"

Tattletale smirked. "Well, look like your heroes have your work cut out for you. Skitter?"

Suddenly, the bugs attacked us, and I could hear cries of agony and terror from the swarm, But I couldn't see anyone. Would have to find Katsuki, Weld, someone with shaker abilities, or with skin that can tank the…

Wait, what the hell? What kind of bugs were these? Black and blue wasps? Pure black wasp? and...WERE THOSE BULLETS ANTS!?

Where did she get these bugs and…oh no…the guys!

Have to get the Protectorate. All Might. Someone, ANYONE that can fight against these-

Suddenly, the roof of the PRT headquarters blew up. It looked like something was flying out of it. Was that who I think it is?"

"SO! YOU'RE BACK FOR ROUND TWO, EH?" All Might projected. "WELL WITH THE FULL MIGHT OF THE PROTECTORATE, THIS BATTLE WILL BE FAR EASIER THIS TIME!"

All Might clashed a punch with the Nomu and almost destroyed the whole base!

It's true, the Nomus are equal to All Might.

How are we supposed to-

Suddenly, someone punched me in the gut again. My armor was broken, Hellhound? Genesis?

Another Nomu.

Fuck.

I took off my helmet to vomit. Damn, these are strong, just gotta activate my power.

And just like that, I trapped myself in a prison of bugs…

Again…

Skitter walked up to me. "You like my new friends?"

I frowned. "Got to say…not a fan of your new friends. Any of them. That includes the Nomu."

Skitter tilted her head. "That's sad. The Nomu might be my favorite."

I scoffed.

"You heroes are all about messages and P.R. Well, tell this to your little heroes. If you retaliate after this. We will attack you. And we will win."

"I sincerely doubt that. But you're welcome to try."

Skitter paused. "Nomu, knock him out."

Skitter held her finger to her ear. "Ugh. fine, then you tell him."

What? Who tell who wh-

Couldn't even finish the thought before I was knocked out.
