Hiccup watched Toothless nuzzling the Light Fury before their eyes finally met. Toothless looked to the open horizon, then back to Hiccup, both of them knew…

Hiccup peeled away from Astrid, and hopped over to Toothless, steadying himself against his best friend, who he'd have to let go soon…

"You're right, bud. It's time." said Hiccup, "I was so busy fighting for a world that I wanted, I didn't think about what you all needed." He smiled at the Light Fury, "You've looked after me for long enough, bud. Time to look after yourself." He turned toward all the dragons that stood among Berkians, "Everyone deserves the right to choose.".

Astrid nodded and walked to Stormfly, removing the saddle, and dropped it on the ground. Gobber gave Grump a pat, and then unbuckled the saddle. Hiccup and Toothless watched The Vikings removing their dragon's saddles with acceptance in their eyes.

Hiccup let go of Toothless, and took a stand before both dragons, and Berkians. He tried his best to steady himself on his one leg. It's time he does what a chief should do, with or without Toothless.

"I've seen fights exist since the day I opened my eyes, and it will never end.", but he remembered his father's words, "We're Vikings. It's an occupational hazard, but we will keep on changing the world bit by bit.".

Hiccup smiled at Eret, who stood by Skullcrusher, and then Mildew, who's petting a Terrible Terror.

"I don't presume to know Thor's mind, but I know that this." Hiccup gestured to all the Vikings, and dragon, "Is not an accident. We all exist together for a reason, but even with the help of the gods, if we don't reach our hands out… there would never be the day we all could live together." Hiccup looked at the sight of harmony one last time, "I have no rights to ask any of you to join this endless war… the decision is yours.".

Luminara rolled her eyes, just because they rescued us doesn't mean we owe to stay, she thought as some dragons were already pushing the saddles toward the humans, ready to leave. She looked at the human her mate called Hiccup, he ought to understand. Luminara hates using telepathy to speak to humans, it's a disgrace, and this would be the only time she uses it. She reached for the spot at the top of her crown, and then rubbed it in a circular pattern.

*Don't be arrogant, human.* All the humans turned to look at her in shock, *I saved you, because you saved me, and my mate. I owe you nothing, and only fools would keep on fighting an infinite war.*

*That's why we're cool.* A red Self-Flame declared proudly, even though it was unheard by humans.

Why? She thought as she watched that Self-Flame flipped a funny human onto him with his snout.

*I don't mind war, it's only fun if you get a scar out of it.* A blue Spike-Beak added as she nuzzled her human.

*Stormfly* Toothless pleaded.

So she's Stormfly, Luminara thought as she remembered her mate told her that Stormfly is another best friend of his.

*You led us all into cages* Quadwings replied, not in rage or even disrespect, but calm almost reminded her of her mother, *Most of us would be dead if your human didn't bring help.*

*We're not staying because we owe them, we never did.* Hummingbump nudged the chubby male human as her hatchling were licking him.

*Yeah, see for yourself* Double-Head added, and then nodded at each other *Glitters!*

Luminara's blood boiled at their laugh, she's the Gamma of Hinn Faldi Heimur! Yes, There were some dragons holding the saddles close to their chest, and wouldn't let go of their human, but some were also ready to leave too! And that's what she called 'Wise Decision'.

*Enough.* Toothless watched Luna roar along with the telepathy, *Wise dragons will go first, you check behind for protection.*

Luna took the flight after one last look at him, and then led the pack out of the cliff. The remaining dragons watched the others follow her as their riders smiled by their side.

"You can follow her, bud." Hiccup approached him with Astrid's help, "I'll be fine.".

"Look, I'm not trying to be judgy or anything, Hiccup, but they have just met." Gobber voiced his opinion, "I know he has been acting weird lately, but that's because he's inexperienced." the old man turned to Toothless, "I know you're not a stupid yak. Why don't you give it time first to see if it's really gonna work out?".

Toothless turned to look at all his friends that stood by their riders that are also his friends. The old man was right, the bond they all built together was through times together, bloods that shared through fights, and love that grows from happiness.

*And be honest, Tooth. What's her favorite food? Her best friend? Or even her favorite color?* Stormfly asked.

*And I can't say she knows you too, the only thing she seems to know about you is you are a 'Fury', and an alpha.* Hookfang added.

*It's never too late to get to know someone* Cloudjumper looked at him, *But make your own choice, don't hesitate because of us.*.

- Hinn Faldi Heimur ~ The Hidden World

*Welcome back Princess Luminara* The dragons greeted her once she entered Hinn Faldi Heimur, *Do you need anything? Your highness?*.

*Just help the rest settle.* She ordered, and left.

Flying her way to her family nest, and then turned around. Where is Toothless!? She doesn't understand at all, they're free of human prisons, and Hinn Faldi Heimur is perfect. It would only make sense to move here, so they could be together. Luminara was lost in thought, and didn't notice another dragon behind her.

*Is everything alright? Luna?* Mother asked.

*Toothless is supposed to be here.*.

*Suppose… or presumed?* Mother tilted her head.

Luna pouted, she hates it when her mother does that, but she's kinda right anyway.

*It's ok, Luna* Mother chuckled, *You'll feel better after dinner with your family.*.

Luna nodded, and followed her mother inside the nest, leaving the role of 'Princess Luminaria' outside since she wouldn't need it around her family.

- Hiccup's Tent, New Berk Camp.

Hiccup was sketching his new house's design by the candlelight as Toothless was gnawing on the prosthetic leg. Suddenly, both of them heard a sound. Toothless let go of the leg, and twitched his ear plates.

*It's me, Toothless.* That sweet voice!

Toothless's eyes flared excitedly despite the fact that all he heard was the sound, but he could tell she's waiting outside. Hiccup prepared the auto-tail, but Toothless stopped him. This won't be a date, yet… he needed to talk to her first.

Toothless left the tent, and Luna remained camouflage as they walked past a few vikings that were drinking outside.

"Hello Toothless." A viking waved at him, and he replied with his gummy smile.

Luna finally appeared before him once they reached the beach, where he first tried to court her. The moonlight dances across her sleek body, it was hypnotizing, and he wanted to just go for it, but he won't take this lightly anymore… It's unfair to both her, and him.

*Why didn't you come?* Luna asked, *I thought you wanted to be with me.*.

*I do want us to be mates in the future, but not now.* Luna frowned at his answer, but he won't back away, she must hear it, *You are the first dragon I ever had that feeling for, despite the little time we had to get to know each other, but I want us to take things slowly, so we could see what we'd be like.*.

*How long then? Is all of this because of your human?* She asked, *You know he's going to have his own family sooner or later, right? He won't need you around, and you don't need him. So tell me, Toothless, why?*.

*I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!* .

Toothless admitted finally, and Luna was taken aback by his answer. It's the truth, and that was his final straw for the insult on Hiccup.

*I love flying, and traveling with you, Luna, but this…* Toothless tried to gesture where New Berk Camp hid behind the woods, *Is where I want to be.* It's cheesy, but *You could take the dragon out of the human, but you can't take the human out of the dragon.*.

*That doesn't make sense at all!*.

*But does to all of us who stays,* Toothless insisted, *We didn't stay because we needed to.*.

This conversation is frustrating, and he tried his best to see from her point of view. Luna is a princess by birth, and her first time out of her home world was traumatic, but how are they going to make it work, let alone being mates if this is still going on?

*Do you see this?* Toothless turned toward his drawing of her on the sand that was fading, but still noticeable, *Drawing is my hobby, and I learned that from Hiccup. I could do sharp turns, and that's because Valka helped me.* He explained gently, *I am their alpha, because they trust in me, both humans, and the dragons here. Everyone made me who I am, I could leave, I always could, but this…* he patted his heart, where everyone stays, *Would never leave me.*.

Their love will still haunt him, warm his heart, hurting him, and guide him for the rest of his life. Even if in the end he could never see them again, he'll still see them in everything he does, just like the sky, the seas, the mountains, and the woods he grew up around.

*Ok*

Luna's answer shocked him, is that what Hiccup felt that time in the clove years ago? Toothless smiled as he thought to himself.

*Will you show me your world tomorrow?* Hope exploded in his heart at her question.

*Yes!* Toothless jumped closer, and then pulled her into a hug.

Luna was shocked by Toothless's humanist behavior, but he guessed she'll get used to it, like Hiccup did to Astrid's kiss. Toothless let go of her, and bounced his way back to the camp as he roared.

This is my first How to Train Your Dragon's Fanfic, so I hope it's not too bad xD I tried to write that "Not All Humans Are Cruel And Twisted Creatures." talk, but after having 3 dates, I'm pretty sure Toothless had already tried to tell her that.
