To answer a few of them, yes I made a mistake of changing the age and I was, key word, WAS going to follow cannon, but now? I think I might throw a monkey wrench into the machine.

(Peter's Point of View)
I was dropped off by Poseidon himself at the apartment of Sally Jackson and Ugly Gabe. I could smell the reeking scent of him even from outside the apartment. It was making me sick. I almost instantly began to regret my decision to take this job, but I am a being of my word, so I had to suck up my pride and do it, though I severely wish that there was another way…
I knew I would kill Smelly Gabe. A spider bite is all that it would take to kill him in his sleep… I smirked slightly at the thought, though I did not know which type to kill him with. So many options! Though I should do something more local and less than exotic. That leaves me with both the Black Widow and the Brown Recules spiders.
Poseidon knocked on the door then waited a few moments, then we heard someone move from the inside. I growled softly as I smelled the scent of blood and alcohol. Poseidon must have sensed something off as well as he practically opened the door by ripping it off of its hinges as he stormed up the stairwell.
I followed closely behind. The thought of an innocent child being tormented burned a rage within me as my own past flashed before my eyes for a moment before I steeled my nerves.
We saw a drunk Gabe using a sharp shard of a beer bottle on Percy Jackson's bare back cutting him up, Poseidon was ready to kill the stupid mortal now, but I placed a hand on his shoulder and said softly to him, "Mind the Ancient Laws, my lord, allow me to deal with this… filth."
Poseidon gripped his trident hard as he nodded his head as he clenched his jaw tightly.
I walked behind Gabe and punched him behind his head, knocking him out. He smelled even worse up close. I picked Gabe up as though he was a porcelain doll. I opened the window and then spiked him down head first. I smirked as I saw his body break from the third floor up. There was an ugly scene below. I closed the window and turned to see the Lord of the Sea caring for his son, healing him using sea water.
Percy had passed out at some point between the time we entered the room and me throwing him out of the window.
I sighed softly as I said, "Please stay till Sally gets home so you can explain what happened and what I am to you and her."
The Sea god paused and thought about it before nodding his head once as he said, "Very well."
I got up and walked towards the land line phone, and then I called the police. I told them we had a suicide, some one had jumped out the third story window and took a swan dive.
About fifteen minutes later, the police came. Poseidon used the Mist to make them think they had answered every question and gave them an answer with multiple witnesses. Then, they took the body away.
I saw some faint scars all over Percy's tiny body. I growled in anger. As it reminded me of my first life before I ran away from home…
I shook my head, trying to cast the thoughts away.
About an hour later, Sally Jackson came home to her apartment.
She saw the blood and the faint scars on her precious baby boy, then she saw Poseidon and me.
"Greetings, my love." He said with a slight smile on his face as he held his only current half blood son.
Sally asked nervously, "What are you doing here? Where is Gabe?"
I spoke up then and said to her softly, "He was cutting your son up with a broken beer bottle, so I helped him in committing suicide."
"Who are you?" Sally asked me curiously.
I shrugged and said to her, "I can be your adopted son. I can try to keep Percy out of trouble."
Sally frowned slightly and said, "That does not explain who and what you are…"
I sighed softly and then said to her, "I am an adopted son of Poseidon."
Sally glanced at her former lover, who gave her a nod. Then, she sighed softly and said, "Thank you for protecting my son… what is your name?"
I blushed slightly and said softly, "Right, I forgot to give you my name… my name is Peter Perseus Parker."
She smiled and said, "Perseus? That is my baby's name. Though the first and last sounds like Spider Man."
I blushed a little more as I nodded my head. She had no idea how close she was to hitting the mark there.
Poseidon sighed and said, "I must leave soon… but know that I love you, Sally Jackson. I will try to visit if and when I can."
Sally sighed softly and nodded her head as she gently took Percy into her arms. She traced one of the deeper scars that were still healing.
The Lord of the Sea disappeared in a sea mist, leaving me alone with Sally Jackson.
At that moment, my stomach growled rather loudly, making me blush heavily.
Sally smiled at me and then said, "You must be hungry, Peter, I am sure Percy is. He always seems to be."
I smiled slightly and said, "I am feeling a bit hungry…"
She asked me a somewhat awkward question, "How old are you?"
I shrugged and said, "I do not know. I have been on my own for about as long as I can remember." I half lied to her.
Sally gave me a small, sad smile and said softly, "From now on, you will have a family in Percy and me."
I smiled slightly and asked, "Really?" I hoped to semi-sell my age act.
Sally poked my nose and said with a small smile, "Yes, siree bob."
I smiled back at her and said softly, "Thank you, Sally."
She smiled and said softly, "Call me mom or Aunt Sally."
I smiled and said softly, "Thank you, Aunt Sally."
