Chapter 8: Prophecy Revealed.

Inside Percy's Mindscape.

Deep within the mind of the young demigod, three powerful beings sat in their human form. On the left was a tall and lithe male with red wings attached to his back with a dragon tail. In the middle stood a large muscular male with a blue skin tone wearing a large cape on his back. And on the left a tanned male with large bird like wings attached to his back sat cross dressed deep in thought.

Brothers the boy has grown stronger in these two years since Chaos's gamble. The tanned one starts,

True brother, but danger is drawing near. Even if monsters cannot sense them, Gaia is sure to find a way. And this world is not exactly without its dangers. The dragon like man states.

Osiris the dangers in this world are far more controlled. Acnologia hasn't been seen for some time. And due to Igneel and the five dragon's gamble the world is still far from danger. The blue powerhouse exclaims.

Obelisk, our brother does have a point, even now there are those who plot against the boy's guild. It may come to a point where we will have to intervene. The tanned one backfires.

I can sense them Ra, but we cannot force ourselves out. If we do then the boy will never trust us. And the guild will see us as a possible threat. Only when he calls us can we intervene. Osiris how is the prisoner. Obelisk asks his brother who smiles deviously as he opens a portal to an unknown realm. Screams of pain erupt from it leaving smiles on the other two.

I must say Ra they call me sadistic but you're enjoying the man's pain. Osiris gleefully remarks.

How could I not? You've seen the boy's memories and the last incident almost shattered his mind. The only reason he's still sane is due to us pushing the miserable experience down deep in his mind. Ra defends himself but inside he's happy the man is suffering

Osiris closes the portal. Brothers, if we intervene, willingly, the guild will have to know exactly who we are. They have already deduced his origin due to the celestial spirit Aquarius. And for some reason the thrice damned prophecy has made its way here. Sooner or later the boy will read it and be understandably horrified.

Obelisk stands and reverts to his godly form as do the others. Then we must prepare ourselves now come we have much to prepare for.

Back in the Fairy Tail guild

"WE'RE BACK!" Percy yells as he walks in with Natsu, Lucy, Gray, and Erza, and Ur. Everyone in the guild runs to Percy to asking him questions about the guild. Laxus still standing on the second floor beckons Erza and Mira to come with him upstairs. Nodding, Erza asks Lucy whispering "Lucy would you come with us? The master wishes to speak with us." Lucy nods as this is most definitely about Percy and they make their way to the second floor while Ur and Gray mingle as Percy rides on Natsu's shoulders.

Makarov's office

Makarov sits on the table as Laxus and Mira sit across from him. They see Erza and Lucy walk in. Makarov stands on the table and states"Lucy as much as I am disappointed in your decision I am glad you and Natsu have returned unharmed. While we can discuss punishment later, Erza says one of your spirits had some valuable information about Percy's origin." Lucy nods as she grabs Aquarius's key and asks for a bowl of water. Mira provides one for her allowing her to place the key in the water before summoning the mermaid.

Makarov and Laxus steel themselves, this discussion is far too serious for them to lust over the mermaid spirit. Aquarius studies the room she's in and realizes why Lucy summoned her. "I see that you wanted specific people to know about this. Dangerous keeping this a close knit secret" she states. Laxus steps forward "The guild will know about this soon, but you must understand Percy is not yet ready to hear this. And due to how easily secrets are passed around in this guild, discretion is a must." Aquarius nods and leans on the wall. "So what is it you wish to know? Is this about the revelation of the boy being the son of Poseidon?" "Who is this Poseidon and how is he related to Percy?" Erza askes the question everyone but Lucy and Aquarius had on their mind.

Lucy answers "There are many worlds outside of this one. While the celestial spirits live in another world they are bound to this one. However that still allows them to watch other worlds without interfering. And in one of those other worlds exist the Olympians, Gods who rule over their world. Amongst them are three of the most powerful gods, Zeus controls lightning and the skies, Hades controls the Underworld, a realm for the dead, and Poseidon who controls the seas." Makarov startles at the name Hades but doesn't interrupt. Erza's eyes widen "God of the seas? That explains why Percy was connected to the ship. He could feel the waves as we sailed."

Mira returns to the main question, "But how could he be Percy's father? Percy said that whenever he asked his mother, she would answer saying he was lost at sea. If Poseidon is the God of the Seas then why would he sire a child with a mortal?" Aquarius growls at the question "Because the gods can't control their lust that's why" Everyone looks at the spirit in shock. Aquarius schools herself and creates a window to the world's past showing the occupants how many children the gods have sired. "Several of the gods in that world have fallen prey to their lusts as the years have gone on. The children however would have to endure as monsters keep hunting them due to them having a strong scent. And the more powerful the godly parent is the more powerful the scent becomes."

Laxus takes this in "That's why the note said that he wasn't safe in his world anymore. Due to him being a son of Poseidon, his scent would be powerful. But how did he get here?" He asks. Aquarius shakes her head "That Im not sure of. It is possible that the Celestial Spirit King might know, but even so he may have been asked to keep it a secret. I know this though, whoever sent the boy here did have to ask the King to guide him to this world."

Erza stands up and states "Percy has shown to have remarkable water abilities, even our newest member was brought back to life because of him. There is no other water mage that would be able to force remnants of the Iced Shell back into the castor. Also considering how Percy has perfect bearings at sea, it would make sense that Poseidon is his father. But what baffles me is how can Percy control the earth?" Lucy answers "Poseidon was also known as the Earthshaker, earthquakes were rumored to be his thing." Aquarius starts again "What's odd is that neither him nor the other two should be siring children right now." Everyone turns to Aquarius shocked, as she explains "A few decades ago, a massive are went too far, while the mortals had their own quarrels, they were being influenced by the Olympians fighting each other. Once the dust cleared up they realized the damage done. There was a prophecy given that, while I don't know the exact wording, stated that a child of either Zeus, Poseidon, Or Hades would be the one to decide the world's fate. And so they swore an oath never to have children."

Mira stands up in anger "Are you saying that Percy was a mistake?" She asks. Aquarius looks at the barmaid in anger "Don't you even try it. I never said anything of the matter Im just telling you what I know since you asked." Lucy gets in between the two just like she had to with Erza and Aquarius "Mira please Aquarius would never say something like that or imply it without knowing. Aquarius Im sorry but when you say the three swore never to have children only for one to be a son of Poseidon's it looks bad." Both females clear their head and back off. Makarov rubs his temple with so much information to take in "Thank you Aquarius for helping us understand." Aquarius nods and closes her own gate returning to her world.

Laxus stands "Well Gramps I have to go now. The Thunder Legion and I have to deal with some monsters out in the wilderness and it will take some time for us. Take care of yourselves." Makarov wishes him luck and makes a decision "We still cannot tell him. Its far too early for him to know about his father." Erza notes "I have to agree, Percy doesn't hate his father but he still holds a lot of anger towards him. Left unchecked it will hurt him." Mira doesn't like keeping secrets from her little brother but she also agrees "Lucy I know its asking a lot but please do not mention what we talked about here. If Percy were to find out he would be devastated" Lucy nods before all of a sudden, they hear Percy scream in anger.

Meanwhile down on the first floor.

Percy notices Levy having a problem translating a piece of parchment. He asks Natsu to set him down before approaching her. "Hey Levy whats wrong?" Levy looks up at Percy as he smiles gently and smiles in response. "Oh its nothing too serious its just for some reason I can't translate this and the client needs this for a job. Maybe you could help Percy." Percy's eyes widen as he nods. "Sure I would love to help." He sits down next to her and when he reads the parchment the words do end up flying but they end up back on the parchment in clear English. "Wow, this must be Greek. The words changed for me." Levy, surprised but also suspecting the parchment to be Greek, grabs her light pen and prepares herself. "Alright Percy Im ready."

Percy clears his throat and reads out loud

"The first line says, "A half-blood child of the eldest gods, Shall reach sixteen against all odds." Well that doesn't sound so bad." He jokes as Levy writes it down. "The next line says, "And see the world in endless sleep, The hero's soul cursed blade shall reap"" Percy almost drops the parchment in horror as he finished the second verse. By now everyone in the guild have noticed something wrong with Percy and Cana being the closest gets to Percy and tries to calm him down. "Percy its okay just keep going okay whatever is written cannot hurt you right now" she says as rubs his back. Levy stops writing it down. "There is one more verse left. Percy If you don't want to I might be able to translate it"

Percy shakes his head and stays calm "Im alright now we have one more verse to translate." Levy doesn't feel right but stays strong and gets ready to record. "The last verse says, "A single choice shall end his days, Olympus to preserve or raze"" Percy after reading the last line stands up and walks to the bar trying to be as far away as possible from the parchment before screaming in anger. Mira, Erza, and Lucy run down from the second floor and tend to him. Erza once she sees Percy still shaking from shock but, stands up and demands to know what happened. Levy stands up and shows her the translation of the parchment. Erza reads the lines and is horrified.

This was the prophecy Aquarius warned them about. The one that forced the three most powerful Olympians to swear the oath to no longer sire any children. It had foretold a war that would inevitably be decided by the actions of one child of the three. And the child in question, the very one whose choice could destroy or save the Olympians and their world, with a chance that he may die, was being consoled by Mira and Lucy as he was still in shock.

In an Unknown location

Five members of the guild were gathered as they waited for their guild master to arrive. Once he did he said "We have accepted a job offer, and it couldn't have been any better. Our mission is to return a princess back to her father as he demands to see her. The target is Lucy Heartfillia, member of the Fairy Tail guild. Gajeel I think its time for you to send a message to Fairy Tail." The member in question stands up smiling as he chews on an iron cup.

"Its about time."

The three gods return and while Aquarius explains the world where Percy is from as well as who his father is. Also Percy just read the Great Prophecy of his world which had a huge impact on Percy. And on top of all that someone plans to kidnap Lucy. Also thank you so much for following and liking this story.
