Thank you to every single person who has left a review, who has followed, and who has favortied!
Thank you "Ashley Volturi-whitlock" for your review as well; Glad that you approve of me killing off Gabe.
Thank you "Sandford9687" for your review as well; True I may have messed up a bit about him being Percy's babysitter. But I think I can redeem it, plausibly. Once Percy is a little bit older, I think that Peter can leave more often.
Thank you "josepantzay2" for your review as well; Glad that you thought the chapter was very good.

(Peter Perseus Parker's Point of View)
I had been living with Percy and Sally Jackson for the past couple of months. There had been a few monsters, nothing too dangerous but enough to warrant my attention. Poseidon also sent a few cyclopes to observe and report back to him.
I had put up some wards and magical barriers around the house and the vehicle, as well as using my own scent to help mask Percy's scent.
I sighed softly as I looked around myself, bored out of my mind. This babysitting duty was below my pay grade. I was a monster, well, part monster. I thirsted for blood. It was part of my curse for being a rebellious child towards my mother. Luckily any blood, but my own, work; animals, mortals, demigods, or divine.
I was walking down the beach with a young Percy following me. He was barely able to walk, but he toddlers with me. I was walking in the wave-line, where the water from the wave would wash over my bare feet ever so often.
My Spider Sense went off as my body instinctively ducked and rolled as I yanked on my Trident Pendant on my necklace, summoning a Silver Trident as I looked around.
Percy giggled and clapped his hands, seeing the shiny Trident.
I gave a low growl as I scanned the area but saw nothing and sensed nothing around for the next kilometer or so. Finally, I allowed my Trident to go back into its hidden form. Though I had my venomous stingers ready to be unsheathed at a moment's notice.
I saw a flash of scales in the water before it disappeared. I thought about going after it, but my charge was safe here on land, and so was his mother. So I had no reason to abandon my post.
I picked up Percy and jogged towards the beach house where Sally was working on a book. She was becoming an author.
I called to her, "Aunt Sally, I am going to go swimming. I thought I saw something."
She looked up from the computer and looked down at me. Then, Sally asked, "Are you sure?"
I paused and shook my head as I said, "No… not completely."
She sighed and said, "Peter, I understand that Poseidon wanted you to protect Percy and me. But we do not need to be protected twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week."
I gave her a nod and said, "But the one time that I leave is the one time that one of the brothers of the Sea god or a monster will come for him… I view Percy as a younger brother. I can't allow him to be harmed."
Sally smiled at me and said softly, "I know. I can see that you love him, and he adores you."
I gave her a slight nod and said, "Yeah." Then, I paused for a few moments and asked her, "Do you still have the gun?"
Sally smirked and said, "Yup, and I am a pretty good shot with it."
I gave her a small grin and said, "Great! Get it out and be ready. I want to investigate something."
Sally nodded her head once and then said, "Okay, Peter." She got up and walked towards a cupboard and pulled out a special gun that I helped forge and create. It held eight rounds that shot out; Celestial Bronze, Lunar Silver, Imperial Gold, and Mortal Lead. It was an oversized pistol that shot shotgun rounds, Double-Ought Buck-Shot. It could kill; Mortals, Monsters, and Divine Beings.
I nodded my head and said, "I will be back as quickly as I can."
She smiled and said to me, "Take all the time that you need."
I jogged towards the water line and dove into the shallows and willed the waters to propel me forward and deeper into the water.
A few minutes later, my Spider Sense went off. I barely had time to turn the water around myself into thick ice.
A tentacle came out of the depths knocking me deeper into the abyss, but my icy cocoon held firm.
I yanked at my Trident, summoning my Atleantian Silver Trident. It glowed a greenish-blue hue in the depths of the water. I could clearly see my opponent.
I muttered, "Oh crap."
