Chapter 11: Jupiter.

The Fairy Tail mages watches as the mechanical guild approached them. Frozen by fear of what's to come no one knew what to do as they stared at the cannon. Seeing the cannon aiming at them beginning to power up, Erza starts running as fast as she could. Ignoring her guild mates calls for her to turn back, she re-equips her Adamantine Armor, an armor designed to redirect the opponent's strength right back. Percy can't stand seeing her get hurt and runs towards her, willing the water in front of her to and changing it into a giant silhouette of himself guarding the guild as he stands in front of Erza.

Erza, horrified at the thought of Percy hurting himself for the guild tries to talk him down. Percy digs his heels in and yells at her "I will not let anyone nor anything harm my home." Jose looks down and orders "Fire the Jupiter cannon." The cannon launches a circle of dark energy at the guild which the giant intercepts. Powered by his love for the guild, Percy holds his ground as the giant endures the blast. The force is powerful enough to push Percy back inch by inch but he doesn't stop and keeps the giant until the blast disintegrates. Feeling exhausted he falls to his knees as the watery giant dissolves.

Erza immediately pounces on him. "Percy why?" Percy wills water from the lake to cover him and instantly recovers. "Erza I can recover from anything. And there isn't any way I will let them hurt us again" Percy says with a steely look in his eyes.

Jose slams his head on the controls. A child a mere child stopped the blast of the Jupiter Cannon. "Very remarkable Fairy Tail, I'll make this quick. All we want is Lucy Heartfillia. Turn her over and we will let you live." The entire guild shouts in protest. Lucy starts tearing up as she hears her guild mates swear to defend her. Percy however has the final say. Still exhausted he leans on Erza as he stands. "The day we turn over a member of our guild to you or anyone else, IS THE DAY WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER. YOU'VE INSULTED FAIRY TAIL FOR THE LAST TIME JOSE PORLA. AND WE WILL NOT LET THIS STAND!" Percy yells inciting a roar from the people behind him. Jose smiles wickedly "Very well but for your information Jupiter cannon can fire again. It takes 15 minutes to recharge and so far 3 minutes have passed."

All of a sudden phantoms shoot out of the giant mechanism and towards the members of Fairy Tail. Percy acting quickly erects a water barrier in order to keep them at a distance. Cana, Bisca Alzack and the others begin taking them down one by one. Erza realizing the situation changes to her Heaven's Wheel Armor and summons her swords. "Natsu, that cannon must be destroyed. Take Happy and find a way to silence it." The Fire Dragon Slayer nods as he and Happy take off towards the cannon. Gray seeing this grabs Elfman and creates ice stairs in order to catch up. Meanwhile, Mira takes Lucy away from the fight and to a hidden passage with Reedus waiting.

Lucy startled couldn't believe Mira would ask her to run. "Mira I'm a member of Fairy Tail too this is also my fight." Mira shakes her head. "Lucy you are their target. And while I admire your courage right now the best way to keep you safe is to get you to our safe house. Please listen" Mira says as she sprays Lucy with sleep magic, putting Lucy to sleep. Once done, Reedus draws a carriage on his stomach summoning it before grabbing Lucy and heading to the safe house. Mira then takes the form of Lucy and runs back to the guild.

Jupiter Cannon.

Natsu and Happy fly into the cannon itself. They tried to damage it from the outside but it was too dense for any magic to have an effect. As the make their way inside, they find lacrima charging up for an attack. Natsu ignites his fist as he plans to destroy them. But as he got close to the main one something interfered with the fire in his fists forcing his fist to punch himself. All of a sudden the white and black haired member of the Elemental Four jumped in front of the lacrima, his sword sheathed.

"I am Totomaru of the Elemental Four. It was not wise of you to come here Natsu Dragneel." Natsu narrows his eyes. "Elemental Four, tell me. Were you the one who hurt Percy?" Totomaru is in shock "The child lives?" Natsu's rage flares up as he found out who hurt his little brother. And with that his flames skyrocketed as he brings both first together and ignites them creating a large swirl of flames. Totomaru attempts to control them as he had earlier, but it's too much. "I'm guessing you have the ability to control flames. The one reason why you were sent to stop me. But there's one thing you forgot. THIS IS MY FIRE AND I WONT LET YOU CONTROL IT. FIRE DRAGON BRILLIANT FLAME." Natsu yells as he launches a powerful blast towards Totomaru.

The fire barely misses him, prompting The Fire Elemental to gloat "How do you plan on defeating me if you can't hit me?" Natsu smiles "Whoever said you were the target?" Totomaru, stunned, follows the flames as they make their way to the lacrima. The fire turns into a massive fist before punching it hard breaking the lacrima powering down the Jupiter cannon.

Back outside.

Percy struggles with the barrier as more and more phantoms attempt to breach it. What's worse is that each phantom regenerates after being destroyed. He looks up and sees the cannon power down. "Natsu found a way to shut the cannon down. Keep it up guys we still have much work to do" he says as his comrades cheer him on. The brands on his back and shoulders have quieted down but are still very much active.

Phantom Lord Control Room

Jose is absolutely livid. First the child manages to block Jupiter and now the lacrima powering it up has been destroyed. Well if the fairies thought that Jupiter Mark I was enough.

"Prepare transformation into Jupiter Mark II" He orders.

Outside

Cana throws another set of her cards at the phantoms Percy is blocking. She reaches into her bag for another when all of a sudden she sees Phantom Lord's guild transform.

"Everyone look. Something's happening to their guild" They all do and sure enough the guild is transforming. Percy realizes something. "Oh no Natsu is still inside and he has to deal with that inside. Erza go help him." Erza nods before re-equipping into her BlackWing Armor. She flies upwards to the cannon, catching up with Gray and Elfman as they enter what used to be the cannon.

Percy still in shock realizes that the guild had transformed into a mechanical giant as it sets its eyes on the guild.

"Guys please hurry I'm not sure I can hold it for so long" Percy laments as he keeps the barrier up but he's losing consciousness. Cana yells at him "Percy stop if you keep the barrier up you'll collapse. I promise you we can deal with them. Go to the water and heal and let us carry on this fight." Percy looks back and sees the determined eyes on each and every member giving him the nod. Percy sighs and pulls the barrier down before diving into the water. He goes to the very bottom of the lake and sits cross legged as he recovers

Jupiter Cannon.

Natsu had been battling nausea as he had to deal with the room twisting and turning. Happy had went outside to see what the issue was leaving him alone with the other fire mage. Once the room had stayed still, Totomaru attempted to end the dragon slayer while he was down only to find his hands frozen. "What the" he exclaims before being full frozen in ice. Gray, Elfman, and Erza walks over to the ice sculpture. "That was for trying to harm our friend while he's down" Gray states. Elfman changes his arm using Beast Soul Partial Take Over before grabbing the sculpture and throwing it in the air. He yells "And that was for burning my little brother when his back was turned."

Erza picks up Natsu as he starts to feel better. "Well done Natsu but it's not over just yet. There is still something wrong." Happy flies back in panicking "You guys there's a large magical circle outside. Mira says that it's Abyss Break." Erza eyes widen. She flies out of the cannon with Happy and confirms it. "We still have time. The spell is powered by Elemental Magic. Specifically, the Elemental Four. We took down one now it's time to take out the other three. We need to split up.

Gray heads upwards near the top, while Elfman heads in another direction. Natsu and Erza run together as they go after Juvia, Sol, and the one who hurt their master Aria.

Outside

Mira can't take it anymore. She runs out, still in the form of Lucy, and yells at the giant "You wanted me. Here I am."

Control Room

"Sir we've spotted the target." Jose hears wondering what the babbling buffoon is on about. He looks down and sees the girl and laughs out loud. Grabbing the microphone, he says "I already know you're a fake. Trying to trick me into stopping will not work". Shocked Mira drops the disguise. Loke assesses the situation, the only way he would know is if.

Loke runs back to the safe-house hoping he gets there in time. Cana and the others have come to the same conclusion. Lucy was in danger.

All of a sudden a green magical circle pops underneath Mirajane teleporting her. She finds herself in between two of the giant's fingers as they attempt to crush her. She begins to scream as she struggles to pry herself out of the giant's grasp.

On top of the giant

Gray makes his way to a broken window and climbs out. All of a sudden it started raining as the rain woman Juvia walks towards him. "My name is Juvia, The Rain Woman of the Elemental Four. I'm surprised to see you have defeated Totomaru and have forced us to transform. But do not underestimate us." Gray studies his opponent's posture. She looks serious but he also wanted to confirm something. "You were the one who healed Percy, weren't you?"

Juvia is perplexed. She hadn't expected the boy to be up so quickly even with her help. "I could not condone hurting a child" she says as she looks down "But how did he heal so quickly?" she asks still confused as to how the boy deflected Jupiter with the watery giant. "Percy heals faster with water. I want to thank you for helping my little brother. But I'm sorry but we have to fight." Gray prepares for battle when suddenly Juvia walks away "Well I give up you win. Later" she says with a blush on her face.

Gray's eyes pop out "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! COME BACK AND FIGHT ME!" he yells. Juvia's heart keeps pounding as she ponders to herself "Why is my heart pounding for him? We just met and yet I feel that I can't live without him. I must make him mine." With that she turns around and traps Gray in her Water Lock. Gray in agony as a wound he suffered back in Galuna acts up again. Juvia begins to beat herself up over hurting her new crush and is about to release him when Gray freezes the sphere before breaking out of it, wowing her even more.

"Well then I guess you're going to fight now huh, well then its time I got serious" he says as he takes his shirt off. Juvia blushes so hard you could mistake her for a tomato as she feels that theyre moving too fast. Gray sets himself up and creates ice lances to hit her, shockingly when they hit her, she turns into water. Back to her depressed self, she says "My water form is impervious to any damage, and this time your friend is not here to control me."

Deep Underwater

Summon us. Percy hears as he slowly recovers. The voice seems so familiar yet he couldn't place it.

You need our strength to protect your Guild. Another voice pops in his head. And then a third pops in

They're in danger as we speak. Summon us.

Percy had enough and thinks out loud "Who are you? And what do you want"

Deep in Percy's Mindscape

Little Percy runs as he tries to find out where the voices came from. They're getting louder and louder as he approaches a giant door. Pushing it with both hands, he opens one. When he enters he's astonished to see three giant statues. Statues that somehow feel familiar to him. Suddenly the three statues break and three beings that were locked in them were released as they stood in front of him

Welcome Perseus.

Alright another chapter completed. Also I wish to thank you guys. So many of you have been reading it and enjoying it so much that I've hit 50 favorites and 60 followers. That may not be much but it's an accomplishment for me as it is my first story. Don't forget to vote on which Fairy Tail character would you like to see Percy with. I'm already made up my mind that Percy and Erza will be together later on in my story.
