Chapter 13: Dragons and Gods

Elfman, Gray, and Mirajane catch up with Erza who's still leaning on the wall as she takes deep breaths. "Erza are you hurt?" asks Gray as she seems a bit exhausted. Erza shakes her head and eases their fears, "No it's just me catching my breath, especially after beating the man who hurt our master." Elfman and Mirajane look around and find Aria's unconscious body. "You beat him Erza?" Mira asks. Erza nods "With Natsu's help, yes. He was trying to use the same trick that hurt our master but Natsu stopped him allowing me to end it."

Gray then asks, "So where's flame breath now?" Erza smiles as she states "He's going after Lucy. I have to say, I never thought Natsu would find someone and yet Lucy seems perfect for him." Mira smiles but then all of a sudden everyone feels something cold pass through them. An evil aura passed through the four of them making them feel sick. Erza re-equipped her sword and stood her ground. Then they hear clapping as Jose makes his way towards them. "I must admit, I did not expect things to turn out the way they did. My cannon, The Elemental Four, even my giant has been brought to its knees. But sadly your luck will run out" Jose arrogantly states. Each member prepares for a fight when the ground underneath them shakes as someone is punching it trying to make his way out.

"WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT JOSE!" Suddenly something pops up from the ground standing tall in front of the Fairy Tail mages. As the dust clears, Erza and the others look in shock as Percy takes his stand in front of them. But something is off and as they study him they see two massive blue arms instead of his short ones. Mira then cries "Percy what's happened to you?" "Don't worry Mira, this is my variation of Partial Takeover. Now Jose you have committed many sins today. You've intentionally started a war between two guilds, causing many of my friends harm as well as your own members. You've twisted the minds of innocent mages and corrupted those who were trying to find a true purpose in life. And you pushed one of our members to the brink of tears. What do you have to say for yourself?" Percy demands as he crosses both arms.

Jose, insulted that a mere child stands before him, then realizes that it was this child that blocked Jupiter's blast. "How are you still standing?" he asks as he tries to figure out the boy in front of him. Percy's face twists into that of a smile. "Oh you can ask Erza, Laxus, even Master, and they can tell you I have more energy surging within me than your entire guild's magic supply. And that's not even counting the three friends I just made today." Everyone looks at Percy confused as he points outside.

Fairy Tail.

Cana and the others watch as a massive red beast descends from the heavens. Its body is long and twisted resembling that of a python. It has two large wings with horns at each end and four claws resembling a dragon. But the most disturbing fact was that the beast had two mouths. And the lower one was firing lightning faster than Laxus ever could at the phantoms diminishing their numbers.

Bisca stops and stares at the beast. "What is that thing?" she asks in fear. Cana studies it and yet something is off. "Wait I think this thing is friendly, it's targeting the phantoms only." All of a sudden it's upper mouth opens and a blue ball of lightning fires at a space in front of the mechanical giant opening a portal sucking all the phantoms into it before closing. It then proceeded to wrap its long body around the giant while leaving aiming its head at the throne room

Phantom's throne room

Jose is in shock. Whatever that creature was, it took out all of his phantoms with little effort and now it's facing him smoke clearing out of its mouths.

Percy laughs at the terrified Wizard Saint. The other mages look at him in shock. "He's daring you Jose. Please summon more phantoms make his day much more interesting. Oh and if you're thinking about hurting him, you could try but nothing you could do could hurt a God like him anyway" Percy enjoys the look on Jose's face at the proclamation that the beast outside is a God. Suddenly a light erupts from afar. The mages think it's their masters but Percy laughs, "Looks like his brother just made an appearance, and look at that it's where Natsu was headed. Now let me show you how puny you really are" Percy yells as he charges at Jose. Jose casts Shade Entangle, sending shades towards Percy in an attempt to immobilize him. Percy lifts his large arms and swipes the shades dispersing them, causing Jose's eyes to widen. Percy marches slowly towards Phantom's Master deflecting magic left and right. Jose can't believe it and soon his eyes turn dark as casts Dark Pulse blasting Percy in an explosion.

Jose stops and is about to gloat when all of a sudden Percy rushes forward and punches him hard in the stomach. "Impressive, for a human you possess quite a bit of magic and strength" Percy says as his voice sounds much deeper than before, the god within taking control as Percy's mind willingly lets him. "But you are far from our league"

Giant's Shoulder Before Light's Arrival.

Gajeel stares bored out of his mind. He's been tasked to watch over the blonde as Jose took care of the other fairies. He didn't like it. He felt that he should be out of it. Frustrated he began throwing nails around Lucy's tied body, the nails hitting the wall around her. "Gajeel we shouldn't do this. Master doesn't want her harmed" a Phantom member says before an iron rod blasts him backwards. Gajeel growls at the cowardly mage "I don't care about what Master said, he's having fun out there while I'm stuck watching her."

Lucy then starts to chuckle despite her situation. Gajeel's heightened senses tell him someone's coming towards his location fast, but he also wants to know why the blonde is laughing. "Something funny blondie?" Gajeel threatens but is delighted and confused to hear her continue laughing. She then stops and looks at Gajeel with a straight face, "Go on then, kill me. That's what you want isn't it? To harm Fairy Tail? Go ahead make it come true. But know this, Fairy Tail will not let you get away with this. Our vengeance will be absolute" Lucy threatens.

"She's not lying by the way" a strong voice says behind the guild members shocks them. When they turn around they see Laxus and Thunder Tribe standing behind them. All of a sudden an explosion shatters the walls behind Lucy freeing her. As she looks up she tears up as she sees Natsu standing over her in front of Gajeel. Happy descends to Lucy. "Lucy are you alright?" the blue cat asks. Lucy nods smiling at the two of them. "Oi Natsu took you a while" Laxus smiles at the Fire Dragon Slayer. Natsu finds Laxus standing there, "Laxus, what are you doing here?" he asks. Freed steps up and answers "Master Makarov has recovered we accompanied him back to the guild as he attempts to stop Jose."

That will not be necessary. Everyone stops as they see someone sitting on the roof. Perseus is in the process of humiliating Jose Porla as we speak. For a mage of his power he overestimated himself.

Laxus teleports in front of the man. "Who are you and what do you mean Percy is humiliating Jose?" The man smiles as he creates a window to the Throne Room. Laxus couldn't believe what he was seeing. Percy was taking it to the Wizard Saint but yet it wasn't him. He looks at Percy's arms and is in shock.

Ah yes the Strauss family's knowledge of the Takeover was very useful, it allowed Perseus to use part of our powers without the need of summoning us .The man said as they both watched Percy humiliate the Wizard Saint. The arms you see are those of my brother Obelisk. With them no magic can harm the boy and his strength is unmatched. Combine that with the boy's speed and well, the Wizard Saint will be begging for mercy. Now it's time I saw two dragon slayers fight so, Son of Igneel, Son of Metalicana finish what you started. The man demands

Natsu and Gajeel start trading blows, Natsu's earlier power up giving him the advantage forcing Gajeel to play defense. But with every blow the two manage to get back to even footing, thanks to Gajeel's Iron Sword as Natsu had to dodge every swipe of the blade. Gajeel then starts to take things seriously as he turns his whole body into steel scales before rushing to Natsu fist raised. Natsu blocks the strike but the impact was much stronger than before.

The Thunder Tribe move to secure Lucy. "I wish we met under different circumstances Lucy, but now is as good a time as any. My name is Freed Justine, my helmet wearing associate is Bickslow and our female companion is named Evergreen. We serve under Laxus's command as the Thunder Legion" Freed introduces himself and his teammates to Lucy. They watch as Natsu and Gajeel draw breath before launching their patented roars. As the dust clears Gajeel remarks "Looks like there's a big difference between your fire and my iron" Natsu just chuckles and asks "Are you sure about that? You might want to rethink that." Gajeel stares at Natsu confused before a crack appears on his face.

Freed gives his opinion to the stunned group, "Natsu's fire is more powerful than regular fire. Its aim is to destroy anything in its path. So far they're evenly matched as neither Gajeel nor Natsu could defeat the other unless one replenishes their stamina." Lucy nods before being blown away by the two dragon slayers emitting so much magical power as they declare that it's time to fight for real. The two push each other as hard as possible fighting in the air, wreaking havoc all over the guild.

Laxus and the tanned man watch the dragon slayers. Laxus whistles as he comments "Natsu seems to have grown stronger. He's definitely earned the right to challenge me. Beat me we'll see about that." Yes the son of Igneel has shown his ceiling and yet neither dragon possess the true power of their magic. Laxus turns to the winged man and asks "How the hell do you know about that?!"

The man looks at him and smiles. We've lived within Perseus for as long as he's been a part of the Guild. As such we have also absorbed knowledge of this world's magic including Lost Magic. How do you think Perseus cast the Takeover spell for Obelisk's arms? Now hush we're missing the fight. Laxus turns back and sees Natsu exhausted. It wouldn't be a big deal but Gajeel had just eaten a chunk of iron, restoring his balance. He attempts to intervene but a wing stops him Laxus Dreyar, while we commend the impulse to save your guildmate it is not necessary. The blonde one seems to have a plan. Laxus looks and sure enough Lucy had summoned Sagittarius the Archer. Unfortunately he had no way of making fire but when the situation was dire for Natsu, the horseman nots a few arrows and fires them at the machinations behind Gajeel and Natsu, causing it to explode.

Gajeel is furious, he had it won and yet the archer messes everything up. All of a sudden he hears fire being sucked in and he knows he's in trouble. But he doesn't care. Natsu, after swallowing the fire, punches Gajeel hard sending him flying. Gajeel recovers quickly and fires his roar at Natsu who deflects it with his bare hands. Natsu ignites his fists once again and as the two dragons meet fist to fist the impact is so severe Gajeel's scales on his arm have cracked all the way to his shoulder. Natsu closes in and with a roar he begins to pummel Gajeel nonstop, shouting "Levy, Jet, Droy, Macao, Gramps, Percy, AND LUCY! This is for attacking us and attempting to destroy our guild" Gajeel is practically unconscious as Natsu roars in victory before sending the dragon slayer out.

The Fairy Tail members cheers as they see Natsu win over Phantom's own dragon slayer. The Thunder Tribe and Lucy fly out with Laxus as they take Natsu with them. Laxus looked back but the man he was speaking with was already gone. He looks down at the injured Natsu and says "Well done brat" letting Natsu smile.

All that changes when they hear a roar of pure rage come from the throne room. "YOU SELFISH BASTARD! ALL OF THIS WAS BECAUSE YOU WERE JEALOUS?!" Everyone recognizes Percy's voice but never have they seen or heard him this angry. Laxus gives Natsu to Bickslow and orders his team to return to the guild as he finds out what happened.

Phantom Throne Room.

Percy has regained control as Obelisk decided to have Percy ask Jose a few questions. Jose has been beaten badly, blood pouring from his mouth as Obelisk did not spare him "Now Jose I know you're still conscious Obelisk didn't use his full strength so I'm going to ask a simple question. Why did you target our guild?"

Jose looks at Percy in disgust. The anger and hate towards Makarov and his guild had reached its limit. Jose snarls at the boy "How many? How many mages with high levels of power does Fairy Tail need to be satisfied? Gildarts, Laxux, Erza, even Natsu and Gray. And now you had a member of the Heartfillia wealth to the mix as well as a child who commands the gods. Each and every one of you had easy lives willingly joining a guild of powerhouses leaving others to rot in the dust." Erza yells from behind Percy, his face down as he's remembering past trauma, "Lucy had left her father long ago. She hasn't used a single jewel from her family's wealth whatsoever. And we never asked her for her wealth. She lives in a small apartment and struggles to pay rent just like each and every one of us. To do this because you were jealous of us is pathetic. And how dare you say that Percy just came here willingly or that he had an easy life?"

Percy's eyes darken as he brings his arms up before roaring in anger, channeling all three gods at once as he screams in anguish, "YOU SELFISH BASTARD! ALL OF THIS WAS BECAUSE YOU WERE JEALOUS?!" He pummels the man constantly using Obelisk's strength, Ra's fire, and Osiris's thunder as tears fall down his eyes remembering the trauma that sent him to Fairy Tail. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT BROUGHT ME TO FAIRY TAIL, YOU SICK FREAK?! I WAS ALMOST RAPED AS A SEVEN YEAR OLD AND WATCHED MY MOTEHR GET RAPED BY THE MAN THAT PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSED ME FOR SEVEN YEARS!" Erza, Gray, Mirajane, Elfman, and Laxus who just got in and heard Percy scream, freeze in absolute horror at hearing what they just heard. Percy keeps pounding Jose until his arms can't move anymore before he collapses on his hands and knees before weeping openly.

Laxus and Erza approach the emotional wreck that is Percy and survey the damage. The man would live but he would be crippled for the rest of his life with severe burns all over his body. Erza then grabs the boy and brings him closer to her letting him weep all over her shoulders as she keeps a tight grip on him. Makarov arrives and can sense one of his children, his youngest, in absolute agony as he approaches the three. Makarov casts a spell on Percy letting him sleep before looking at Laxus and Erza silently asking them to hold their feelings inside until everything is settled down.

The mages of Fairy Tail stood victoriously over Jose's body as they returned back to the guild. Yet they couldn't cheer not when they finally found out what happened to their youngest member.

So sorry I had to end this on a sad note. I wanted to display Percy's power that he gained, but I felt that the trauma that he endured would rear its ugly head here. Anyways thanks for reading and don't forget to vote. I'm seeing Mirajane also take a lead, we'll see how that works out.
