Chapter 24: Oracion Seis
"That was nice of Mr. Yajima to open up a restaurant here" Percy remarks as he and the gang make their way back from 8 Island. Yajima had asked specifically for Team Natsu to help start his business and the team accepted. Percy, Natsu, and Gray were still in suits while Lucy and Erza were dressed in their usual outfits, which Natsu and Gray vehemently complained about the whole time.
"Yeah but the outfits were a bit too much" Lucy complained as she felt that the waitress dress she had on revealed a bit too much skin. Erza had actually liked the outfit but whenever men started catcalling her, she would often find Percy growling at them so she made the conscious decision to go in her armor.
"Percy you know you don't have to worry about the catcallers I can take care of myself" Erza states, forcing Percy to look away blushing as he changed the topic.
"Say Natsu, what did Mr. Yajima want to talk to you and Gray about? It looked important." Percy asks the dragon slayer who whispers something about accidents and collateral damage while Gray takes his top off and mumbles the same thing making Percy laugh before adding "well you two are the ones most responsible for all the complaints people have against Fairy Tail" causing Erza, Happy, and Lucy to laugh at their misfortune.
Later on at the guild
"We're back!" Percy yells as he and his team enter the guild. However what awaited them was a curious sight.
Reedus had drawn up a large Venn diagram with many dark guilds within, excluding Raven Tail. What was curious was that many of the dark guilds drawn were connected to three specific dark guilds which were separated in a circle within. Mirajane looked away from the diagram and her face lit up at the sight of her little brother
"Percy how did the job go?" she asked with a large smile on her face. Percy smiled back and gave her a thumbs up but then pointed at the drawing in confusion. "What's going on Mira?"
Mira's expression changes ash she looks at the diagram with worry. "This diagram is detailing each and every single dark guild known so far. It may seem that each of them are working separately but in reality most of them work for three dark guilds" she says as she points to the circle containing three names. Tartaros, Grimoire Heart, and the Oracion Seis.
Percy bristles uncontrollably at the name Tartaros. Not knowing the meaning but feeling that the three deities inside know about it as he felt Osiris's anger. Erza notices this and places a calming hand on his shoulder causing him to look up at her. "Something wrong Percy?" she asks clearly worried. Percy shakes his head and smiles before looking back to the graph. He then notices something off about the dark guilds working with Oracion Seis.
"Erza didn't you go after Eisenwald?" Percy asks as he recognized the name from before. Erza and her team nods, Lucy shook by the mere mention
Ur studies the graph and notices something else. "Hold on what's with this Raven Tail guild?" she asks as she points to the dark guild with no connections to any of the dark guilds above.
Laxus stiffens as he glares at the name. "It's the guild that my deadbeat old man set up. Thing is that he doesn't work with the other dark guilds but don't let that fool you. He's planning something." Percy and the Thunder Legion glare at the name as well before Mira snaps her fingers bringing everyone's attention to her again.
"The reason we're bringing this up is because the guilds connected to Oracion Seis have been acting up recently. And if we target one of the main roots, there's a good chance that the other two would retaliate. After all those three guilds have cemented themselves as the Baram Alliance. So we have to be careful in our approach" Mira solemnly states.
Lucy shivers as she fears the repercussions, "But what are we supposed to do? We have to do something against them."
"Oh we will Lucy. And here's how" Makarov's voice fills the room as everyone turns to the entrance as the miniature guild master enters the guildhall. Everyone waits for Makarov to explain only to drop to the ground when Mira greets him happily, "Welcome back Master how was the meeting"
Percy gets up and shakes his head at his big sister. "Sis read the room please" he states before turning to the guild master. "I'm guessing the meeting was about Oracion Sies Gramps?" Percy asks the obvious question.
"Indeed we cannot make a move individually. However, we have allied ourselves with three other guilds in order to take on the Oracion Seis. Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, and Cait Shelter have allied with us with the sole purpose of taking the Oracion Seis down." Makarov declares
"Gramps you know I can take them down all by myself. There's only six people in that guild" Natsu yells out with false bravado. Gray gets in his face and yells out "Yeah right you can't even handle an owl dude from before" The two start fighting and Erza turns to threaten them only to see them laid out with two massive blue arms over their heads. Everyone turns to Percy who's donning an evil look that normally is seen on Erza's face whenever those two argue
"NO FIGHTING WHEN GRAMPS IS TALKING!" he yells forcing the two to nod in fear. Erza smiles and puts an armored hand on Percy's head telling him he did a great job. "So who will be representing Fairy Tail?" she asks as Makarov turns to her.
Next Day on their way to the Blue Pegasus Mansion
"I can't believe Master chose us on this mission" Lucy complains as she explains how she's inexperienced when it comes to fighting.
"Oh come on Lucy you'll be great. I mean your celestial spirits are awesome in a fight" Percy comforts her as he walks next to Erza while holding onto Natsu as the dragon slayer is still suffering from motion sickness.
"Indeed besides you're a valuable member of this team Lucy. And you have proved yourself in the Tower of Heaven" Erza adds on to Percy's argument. Gray just puts his hands in his pocket as he walks alongside Erza.
"Still this isn't going to be easy we're going after one of the biggest threats to the counsel. We have to be careful" as they open the mansion doors. The team walked into the mansion impressed by the delicacy in display.
"Huh wait are we the first team here" Percy asks before stiffening as he felt three familiar signatures. He gave Natsu to Gray and stood in front of Erza startling the group as they wonder what brought about that reaction.
"You arrived. Welcome Welcome Welcome. Fairy Fairy Fairy. Tail Tail Tail" Three voices fills the room as three teenaged wizards arrive to greet them. Lucy recognizes them immediately and her eyes sparkle. A dark skinned black haired teen, a pretty boy with blond hair, and a paige(I think its paige its close) haired teen appear in front of the assembled group.
"It's the Blue Pegasus Trimens, Hibiki Ren and Eve, the hottest bachelors in Fiore" Lucy, having a fangirl moment, yells out.
"Well you're about to see why they're still single" Percy fires back as the three fall down before glaring at the before regaining their flirtatious looks and introduce themselves and started flirting with the ladies, making Erza and Lucy uncomfortable. As they place the sofa and offered a foot rub and massage, Percy made five earth clones, shocking everyone, and brushed them aside as three clones tended to Lucy massaging her feet and shoulders while offering her a drink while Percy himself tended to Erza's needs.
The Trimens stood in shock as Gray and Natsu laugh. "In Fairy Tail there's only one person who is allowed to pamper our girls and that's Percy" Gray explains with a smirk on his face.
Happy chimes in and says "Yeah but Percy has to build a ha..ACK" Natsu grabs Happy and shuts him up before he reveals anything. Percy stops and looks at Happy confused while Erza and Lucy glare at the cat.
All of a sudden a marvelous voice echoes throughout the room. "Now now boys. Give these ladies some breathing room." Lucy feels hot under her clothes while Erza is petrified. Percy dispels his clones and tries to comfort Erza and asks what's wrong. All of a sudden a midget red haired man with a square face and large nose appears and walks down the stairs.
"It's been far too long, my honey" the red haired dwarf exclaims as he jumps onto the rail and slides down before landing in front of Erza. Erza is shaking as the dwarf approaches her. Percy seeing this growls and stands in front of her blocking the dwarf as the two exchange glares.
"Hello there Midgiya" Percy greets the esteemed mage with his own nickname causing Natsu, Gray, and Happy to hold their laughter in while Erza eases up. The Trimens felt insulted and raced to their teacher's defense when he brought a hand up'.
"Ahh Young Perseus it is good to meet you again, your parfume has become more potent lately" Ichiya greets the kid without recognizing the nickname.
Lucy looks confused, she couldn't believe this was the great Ichiya people kept raving about and she couldn't understand how Percy and he get along that well. Natsu took pity and explained "Percy accompanied Erza and Mira to Blue Pegasus when they were invited to Blue Pegasus by Karen Lillica for a Weekly Sorcerer photoshoot. And Ichiya kept on getting blocked by Percy whenever he tried to flirt with Erza. Percy then dubbed him Midgiya referring to his height which pissed him off but he learned to deal with it"
"Not that this isn't fun but could you tell your students to BACK OFF" Percy yells at the dwarf. Ichiya nods and turns to his students and orders them to clean up
Percy's Mindscape
The three deities are rolling around the floor laughing at the nicknames and how protective Percy is right now. "Oh Chaos, I am looking forward to Perseus's harem" Osiris cries out as he imagines Percy in a suit ordering his army of clones to escort his ladies to a limo while they enter police cars.
Obelisk laughs at the image Osiris conjured up "Careful that might actually happen"
Outside.
Hibiki remarks "Oh I had no clue that Lady Erza was meant for you Maestro forgive us."
"THAT'S NOT TRUE AND HE KNOWS IT" Erza and Percy yell out losing sight of the dwarf as he ends up behind Erza.
Erza stiffens as she feels Ichiya sniffing. Percy stops as earth engulf his right arm as e turns around and punches Ichiya hard sending him flying towards the door. "YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM HER!" Percy roars before stopping as Ichiya's head is engulfed in ice.
"Is this how you treat your guests? How rude" Gray stops as he recognized the voice. Sure enough it's his old classmate Lyon
"Lyon is that you?" Gray asks. Lyon turns and looks surprised "Gray! What are you doing here?"
Lucy stops as she sees the carpet flying towards her and steps away reaching for her keys before realizing something "I know that magic. That's" "We meet again blond one" A pink haired teen walks behind Lyon mesmerizing Ren.
Percy stares at the newcomers confused "Who are these jokers? You guys know them?" Lyon and Sherry fall before getting up "WE WERE ON GALUNA ISLAND! HOW CAN YOU NOT REMEMBER US?!" they scream as Percy genuinely doesn't know them. "Yeah I don't remember meeting you guys so sorry?"
Gray laughs as he takes Percy aside and explains "The guy in the white shirt is Lyon, a student of Ur just like me." "So another stripper then" Percy states bringing Natsu and Happy to tears as they laugh while Gray looks at the two annoyed and starts a fight with the dragon slayer.
Lucy steps in and explains "The girl is Sherry she uses doll magic and is totally into Lyon" "So pink haired Juvia got it" Percy notes with a straight face while Lucy laughs. Sherry doesn't know who this Juvia is but she didn't appreciate Lucy laughing and started arguing with Lucy.
The whole room was filled with Chaos. The Trimens were after Lyon for freezing Ichiya, Sherry and Lucy were grabbing each other's hair, Natsu and Gray were fighting, and Erza used a spear to keep Ichiya off the ground and away from her.
All of a sudden a loud CLANG echoed in the hall as a large bald man entered the room. Wearing a tribal chest piece with blue and white stripes and a kilt and holding a long scepter in his hand, the man shouts "ENOUGH. We are here as allies we cannot be fighting amongst ourselves in a time like this" Percy stares at the man in awe as he approaches him.
"Wow Jura is here" Erza remarks as everyone stares at the newly minted Wizard Saint. Percy stops in front of the man.
Jura looks down on the child in front of him and asks "Is there something I can help you with child?" Percy just stares at the giant and genuinely asks "Sir I would like to know. What have you been eating for the past 9 years?"
Percy's Mindscape
Ra cannot stop laughing while Obelisk is holding onto his sides. Osiris has just disappeared into his own dimension as he couldn't do it anymore. "Seriously this kid is a riot, whoever thought after a few centuries of hardship the first host we latch onto would be this hilarious" Ra cries as he continues to laugh at Percy's question.
Back outside
Jura stares deadpan at the kid in front of him before laughing out loud. The laughter spreads throughout the halls especially with Natsu and Gray as they know for a fact that Percy fears being short all his life and teased him about it constantly as did Gajeel and Laxus.
As the laughter dies down, everyone studies the room as Sherry notices something. "The Fairies brought five members of their guild, while Blue Pegasus brought four members. Meanwhile Lamia Scale send only the three of us in order to deal with this threat" she states rather arrogantly for Percy's taste.
Percy is about to retort when he stops and feels someone approaching. He ignores the conversation going on around him and places his hand on the ground as he tracks the person's movements. He begins to smile and walks over to the door surprising everyone as he has his hands out.
All of a sudden a blue haired girl trips and as she falls she ends up in Percy's arms. "Hey there Wendy nice to meet you again.
Outside in the forest
Five men walk out of a cave. One of them has a purple snake wrapped around his neck as he states "I can hear them. Our prey have arrived. Soon their screams of pain and fear will fill the skies and this world will be ours"
Dark end to the chapter. Now I imagine a lot of you have questions as to why I haven't posted in almost a month. Truth is that I have been busy taking care of my family. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer and while it isn't as bad as other cases it's not easy for him. He's been dealing with it for some time. And while it hasn't gone bad, it's still not going well. I started writing in order to distract myself from it but it's getting harder and harder to focus on writing and my job and my dad. I promise though I will try to post new chapters as early as I can.
Also another announcement. This story will end after Tenrou Island. But I plan on splitting it into different arcs. So after this arc, I will focus on the Percy Jackson series. Also I want to know if you want me to do spinoffs with other universes. Lately I've been watching My Hero Academia and I've had some ideas of a 16 year old Percy in that universe. Let me know how you guys feel about it.
Next Time: As the allies move to confront the Oracion Seis, Percy notices something off and heads back. Could it be that they knew about them already?
