Chapter 25: Deception

Wendy blinked as she studied her surroundings before noticing the smile on Percy's face. She then backs off immediately and apologizes profusely, to which Percy laughed. "It's alright. Though I have to ask are you the one Cait Shelter sent?"

Wendy blushes as she nods. Lucy smirks as she recognizes the same look she saw on many girls ages between 9 and 14. She looked to Natsu and Gray and while Gray smiles creepily, Natsu is deep in thought as he stares at the blue haired girl. Erza, Ichiya, and Jura also are studying the girl, making her more nervous.

"I know I don't look the type, and I may not be a fighter, but I know a bunch of support magic. So please let me stay I will be so embarrassed if you send me back" Wendy cries out stunning the occupants of the room.

"That's quite enough child. You cannot act in such a manner, or else you will appear weak" a strong feminine voice echoes in the room. Percy looks around before looking down stunned as a smartly dressed white cat walks up to Wendy. He smiles creepily as he turns to the other feline in the room. Said cat was absolutely smitten with the newcomer but was rejected. Percy smiles at Lucy who smirks as they both turn to Happy and repeat "YOU LOOOOVE HER!" creeping the hell out of the blue feline.

"I'm sorry Carla. I'll try harder next time" Wendy apologizes as she bows to the white cat. Erza smiles as she approaches the skittish girl. "It's quite alright. We all are a bit nervous and I'm sure that you will be of great help."

"To tell you the truth you're not the only who's scared. I think the pretty boys are too" Percy smirks as he points to the Trimens who yell out in protest.

As everyone got to mingle, Percy and Wendy sat together on a sofa across the room. Erza was keeping a close eye on them but not knowing why. She just didn't feel comfortable with Percy being alone with Wendy but then again Wendy is closer to Percy's age than most of the guild so she shouldn't be bothered. Or at least that's what she told herself.

Natsu was also observing the couple but for different reasons. Something about Wendy and her scent felt familiar. He couldn't place it but he can't shake the feeling that he met her before.

After the mingling, or the failed attempt of flirting by the Trimens due to Percy's interference, everyone gathered around as Hibiki created a few thought projections detailing each member of the Oracion Seis. "First, here's the intel we gathered on the Oracion Seis. Please don't ask how we got this. First up is Cobra." Hibiki then enhances the thought projection of said member revealing a maroon haired male with elven ears. Percy automatically assumed that he relied on his ears while Natsu mocks the beady eyes and smirk, which Gray and Lyon point out the similarities between the two.

"Next is Racer. From what we gathered he uses some sort of speed magic" Hibiki then enhances the next projection revealing a spiky blond haired male in a black onesie. "What kind of name is Racer anyway?" Percy asks in confusion.

"Third on the charts is Hoteye. This man is the epitome of greed. He would take on the entire magical army for money" Hibiki points to the next projection revealing an orange haired block like male. Percy and Jura glare at the picture but for different reasons. Jura believes that what Hoteye is doing is disgraceful while Percy hatred for a certain someone increases as he mentally tells Osiris to "make him suffer".

"Next we have Angel" Hibiki magnifies the projection showing a white haired female in a peculiar dress. "Sorry but aren't angels supposed to be pretty. She looks desperate to me" Percy says casually as the female mages try not to laugh.

"Don't let her good looks fool you" Hibiki warns which Percy then questions "What good looks?" which forces the other mages to smile, other than Ichiya for some reason. "We have yet to determine what kind of magic she uses" Hibiki concludes

"Then we have Midnight" Hibiki then magnifies the thought projection containing a black spiky haired male who appears to be asleep. He also wears eyeliner and lipstick "See if the woman wanted to look pretty she could've asked him for some of his makeup. It might help" Percy remarks as the mages start laughing. Ichiya and Jura remain quiet yet the large man is still smiling.

Hibiki stops and becomes serious as he focuses on the last one "Last but definitely not least, their leader Brain" Percy gets serious as he studies the white haired dark skinned man with markings on his face. As Hibiki explains his magic he mentally asks Ra about the markings. Said sun god took a good look and answered mentally "Those markings may be brands that keep something dangerous from getting out. I advise extreme caution" Percy takes the advice as he listens to the plan Blue Pegasus laid out.

Natsu gets fired up as he yells out "ALRIGHT NOW LETS GO. THIS DARK GUILD IS GOING DOWN" as he runs out of the mansion with Gray and Lyon right behind them. Erza, Sherry, and Lucy chase after the three as do the Trimens. Percy shakes his head before looking back to Wendy and holds his hand out to her "If we wait any longer we won't catch up" he says. Wendy smiles and takes his hand as they rush to the forest.

Carla shakes her head as she questions "Is everyone from your guild this reckless?" while ignoring the blushing cat. Percy shakes his head "What people don't get is that while we are a bit reckless in our actions, we always make sure no one gets hurt. It's part of who we." Percy then stops as something felt wrong.

Wendy, Carla, and Happy stare at Percy in confusion as the boy kneels and puts his hand on the ground. "Something isn't right. I can sense Jura falling to the ground but how?" Percy asks before turning to the three. "Head to the others. Let them know that Jura and possibly Ichiya have been compromised." Wendy, terrified that something happened, steels herself and nods as the three run towards the forest in earnest. Percy then turns back to the mansion and runs back hoping he was wrong.

At the mansion

Jura is still down as the Paralytic Parfume is still taking its toll on the big man. Angel had used the celestial spirit Gemini to impersonate Ichiya and now the whole plan was jeopardized. All of a sudden Percy appears out of the forest running back to Jura. His eyes widen before he holds his hands out and summons water from a nearby source, the restroom sinks, before covering Jura with it. Instantly Jura feels rejuvenated as he stands up "Thank you young Perseus but why did you come back?" Jura asks.

Percy looks down and explains "I felt a big thud on the ground. The impact sent signals through the earth and I felt it. When I examined the thud I realized it was you. Sorry but I can't leave anyone to die. But what happened?"

Jura grits his teeth at the humiliation he suffered. He then sighs and retells the incident "Angel had infiltrated our ranks and had celestial spirit keys. She used one that could transform into the exact replica of a mage with all their magics and memories. That same spirits used the form of Ichiya and knocked me out."

"For that I humbly apologize Jura, Perseus" Ichiya appears before the two deeply embarrassed. "I don't care about that right now. We have to get to the Christina now otherwise who knows what kind of damage that hag could do" Percy angrily comments which both mages nod. All of a sudden a shadow covers them as a massive horse like vehicle flies through the air.

"We're too late she's taken off" Ichiya remarks. Percy shakes his head "IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!" he yells as his eyes turn red. He then casts a Partial Takeover spell and uses Osiris's wings. The two mages stare in awe as red wings protrude from the boy's back. Percy then turns to the two.

Percy then grabs Ichiya and asks "You can steer that thing right?" Ichiya, confused as to why he was grabbed, nods. Percy then looks to Jura "The others went into the forest. With luck you can catch them. Ichiya and I will fly to the Christina and make sure she stays flying and on course" Percy explains his plan to Jura who nods to the two. "Very well then Perseus but you must hurry I fear they may have already sabotaged it" Jura warns them as he runs to the forest.

Percy takes off before speeding towards the ship "Young Perseus you must slow down I don't know if I can" Ichiya complains before emptying his stomach all over the ground. "Sorry no can do. We have to get there as fast as possible" Percy remarks.

With Osiris's speed, Percy and his passenger reached the airship in no time. Percy dropped Ichiya onto the deck. "I will steer the ship to safety. Perseus check the ship for any explosives. We will not let the Christina sink today" Ichiya orders as he heads to the wheel. Percy runs all over the ship and finds multiple explosives set to detonate in barely a few seconds. He casts the Partial Takeover spell on his arms using Obelisk this time and grabs each and every one before running to the main deck and tossing them off of the ship. They then explode underneath the ship sparing the Christina.

At the exit of the Forest.

Natsu, Gray, Lyon and Erza look up and are horrified. They saw a lot of smoke near where they last saw the Christina. Wendy squinted as she realized something "The ship is safe" She yells out happily. Everyone is confused as they look back and sure enough the ship appears to be quite intact with a certain mischievous kid waving down at them as they sped off deeper into the forest.

Oracion Seis Hideout

Cobra stiffens as he still hears the Christina's engines roar. "The ship is flying without any problems" he says which shocks everyone.

Angel gets frustrated. "How?! The charges were set and the old farts were taken care of" Cobra replies "Some kid turned back to the downed mages and flew to the ship. It may be the same kid that took down Jose boss."

Racer shakes his head in disbelief "No one is that fast Cobra. Besides based on the intel he should only be able to manipulate water and earth. He's not supposed to fly" he angrily states.

"This makes the job harder. No matter he must be eliminated. For money" Hoteye vows

"And he will be but we must be cautious. The boy may have other powers we do not know and his water manipulation is second to none amongst water mages" Brain warns his crew as they intercept the incoming party.

And with that I end this chapter. And yes I did take a few liberties with the Christina. I feel as if that it could've been used more effectively against Nirvana and quite frankly with Percy's additional speed he was bound to get onto the ship. As for how I'm treating the Trimens, well I'm sorry but honestly I lost all kinds of respect for them when Hibiki was hitting on Wendy. I mean for crying out loud she's way too young for you.
