It was a raining day and Usagi was at home in her bedroom with Luna who was sleeping over the bed. Usagi was feeling bored being at home without nothing to do and just being looking to the rain by her window. So when Naru asked if she could chat with her a little by Skype, she accepted.
- So, what do you wanna show me that is so interesting? - she asks to Naru with expectation.
- Listen this song and tell me what do you think - says Naru, sending a link by the Private Conversation Box.
Usagi presses the link that opens an Youtube Video, and starts listening the wonderful instrumental piano song that was invading her room.
- Oh, my God. This is so romantic - she says, lying down in the floor and looking to the ceiling - This makes me feel in paradise. It helps me forget my unfair life.
She didn´t notice that Luna heard her exaggerated complain.
" Like if your life was so that dramatic " - she thinks to herself about Usagi's comment.
- Isn´t this a peace of music from your favourite pianist? What was his name?
- Yusuke Amade. Yes. Its his music.
- You never showed me a photo of him. I wanna know how he looks.
- I never found one. There isn t a single photoof him on Internet.
Usagi lays her head over the table with sadness.
- So bad. I wanted so much to know how he looks - she says with a baby face, but suddently she remembers of something - Didn´t you tell me that he plays in a bar nearby?
- Someone told me that. But why? - then Naru opens completely her eyes - You are not thinking of going there, do you?
Usagi shows a devilish smile.
- Why not? We could see him there. It would be interesting.
- We are still children, Usagi. They wouldn´t let us get in there. Probably they would call our parents and we would be in a lot of troubles.
Luna was hearing everything and agreeing discretly with Naru´s theory.
" This girl doesnt think " - she thinks about Usagi and of her crazy ideas.
Usagi lost her smile of thinking in the idea of being scolted by her mother for being at a place that she shouldn´t be. Knowing her mother´s personality clearly she would punish her for all her life.
- Yeh! You have right! My mother would never forgive me. But I wanna see him so badly! - she says with dispair.
- Me too! I'm gonna try to convince my mother to go with us to that bar in a day that he goes there.
- Please, do that. I wanna see him so badly - begs Usagi, joining her hand, and pretending to be praying - It has to be with your mother because with mine just forget it.
Naru laughts of her reaction and then says:
- I´ve to go now, Usagi. Later I´ll give you an answer about this.
- Alright. See ya.
They turn off the Skype and Usagi gets up and stretchs her arms and legs. Then she walks to her wardrobe and chooses a blue dress with a white skirte.
- Where are you going? - asks Luna.
- Im going to the Game Center.
- With this rain? Are you mad?
- Is raining outside, not inside of buildings. And I need to catch some air - she decides.
She grabs her umbrella and leaves, followed by Luna who didn t have time to say anything else before she left home.
Even if was raining, Usagi was feeling much better and relaxed outside of home. Being at home was suffocating her.
- Shouldn´t you be at home studying? You have an exam next week - says Luna.
- I already studied for that exam. And I already told you that I do not study on weekends - she remindes her with firmness.
- You know you can´t think always like that, Usagi. You are a chosen warrior and you need to improve every single day.
Usagi looked at her with a grumpy look.
- Don't worry because, thanks to you, I'll never forget that. But that doesn´t mean that I do not have the right to have time for myself.
Luna gave up of that conversation and resigned of following her partner. She didn´t want to admit but even her was feeling much better being outside of home.
Jadeite was in front of queen Beryl, ready to explain his next plan to gain energy.
- Jadeite, we are rain out of energy again. I hope you have another plan to get more energy for our Master while we dont find the silver crystal.
- Of course I have, your Majesty. I made another investigation and I find out that humans give a big importance to music. Im planning to suck their energy, using that as an advantage.
- Interesting. I can´t wait to see the result.
- Dont worry, Queen Beryl. I´ll be faster.
At that moment, a beautiful woman with redhair appears behind of him, what he noticed without problems. He shows a pen to his partner and she accepts to follow with his orders about using it in a music station. It means that everybody who would heard those musics recorded on that pen will lose their energy quickly.
Usagi arrives at the Game Center and gets excited of seeing Sailor V poster.
- I miss Motoki. Maybe seeing him will cheer me up a little - she says, turning to the Game Center door.
Before she could get in, Usagi feels someone bumping into her. Seeing Usagi lied in the floor and getting up slowly, Luna approaches of her.
- Usagi, are you alright? - asks Luna worried.
- I think so - she says getting up slowly - What is this? Im completely wet! - she complains with indignation.
Then she turns to the person who bumped into her, who was still lied in the floor.
- SO IT WAS YOU! - she raises her voice, standing still with her arms crossed.
Then the man looks at her, seeing her "scary" face, and hiddes his own face in terror.
- PLEASE! DONT KILL ME! - he screams in dispair - DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH ME, BUT PLEASE DONT KILL ME!
Seeing his reaction and dispair, Usagi felt guilty of her overreaction with him. She looks at Luna and sees that even her got scared with her attitude, like if she never saw her before.
Usagi grabs her umbrella and covers him and herself with it.
- Hey! Its ok. Im not gonna hurt you! - she says calmly and touching his shoulder.
He turns slowly to her. She could see that he was a man in his 30s with brown hair. But, even if he was around 30s, he was a very handsome man, and like all the handsome men, he didn´t pass indifferent to Usagi.
- You are so handsome! - she says with "hearts" in her eyes.
- What? - he asks.
She comes back to reallity and shakes her head with embarassement. She understood that wasn´t the moment to think about that.
- Nothing. It is nothing - she says hoping he didn´t listen what she said - Sorry if I scared you.
He helps him getting up.
- Thank you! - he thanks her tenderly, but looking tired - But was not with you that I was scared, miss.
Usagi felt relief and remembers that it seemed that before all of that, that man was running for his life.
- Are you being chased?
He looks behind of himself.
- I was a while ago.
She covers him with her umbrella again.
- If you want, I can take you anywhere you want. I think is better if you have someone by your side now.
- Thank you.
Both walked side by side. Usagi could see that the man was exausted and still bothered with something even if he wasn´t talking.
- May I ask who was chasing you? - she dares to ask with careful.
- You will never believe if I tell you.
- You would be surprise with all the things that I believe - she says with a brief smile.
- Well!... - he pauses for a moment - I was being chased by a monster.
Then he starts telling his story. He left from a music station an hour ago and passed by an alley. It was in there where he saw a beautiful woman transforming into an horrible monster and she started chasing him.
- Look! I know this sounds crazy... - he says - but this really happened.
Usagi and Luna were listening everything carefully.
- Don´t worry. I already saw enough weird things in my life to believe in you.
- Thank you! Is very important for me to hear that.
Usagi couldn´t avoid of blushing a little with his gentle words, and coming from sush an handsome man.
Soon they arrive to a point where they see a brown door. Usagi noticed that was a bar.
- Do you work here? - she asks him.
- Yes! I play piano in here - he explains and then takes a peace of paper from his pocket and gives it to her - Call me in case I need to pay anything about your dress.
In the moment she grabs the paper, Usagi sees his number and name in the there and she couldn´t believe in what she was seeing.
- I can´t believe this. He is Yusuke Amada, that amazing pianist.
Then an amazing memory passed by her mind.
- I can't believe I was next to him all this time. And he is so handsome! - she says completely wondered.
- Usagi - says Luna, touching her leg - Do not lose your concentration. You know you need to protect him. He was being chased by demons.
- I already know that. But how can I get in here? They will not let me in.
- Do you remember that transformation pen that I gave you a few days ago? You can use it to transform in an adult.
Usagi´s eyes started to shine.
- Really? That is great - then a very bothering memory passed by her mind - Why didn´t you tell me that when I was talking with Naru? I could get in in here anytime I wanted to see him. I just needed to use this pen.
- No way! I wouldn´t let you use that pen in sush a way - decides Luna with firmness - It has to be for a good cause.
- Yeh, yeh! - Usagi says, still not happy with Luna - And how do I transform?
- Just says " Moon Power " and in what you wanna transform yourself.
- Very well. " Moon Power. Transform me into an adult singer ".
Usagi sees herself surrounded by light and when it disappears she looks at her reflection in the big window and sees a woman with long legs and long green hair.
- Now I look like a real adult - she says, spinning aroung herself with proud - Now we need to find a way to let you get in.
Usagi grabs Luna and puts her over her shoulder like an accessory. Both get in and they started listening the piano song that was invading that space.
Usagi follows that music until an opening space and sees the pianist who was next to her a few minutes ago, playing a beautiful melody in the middle of that space.
She sits at a table and sees to her relief that nobody noticed that Luna was a real cat.
- He sounds so much better in live - says a dreamy Usagi.
- I´ve to admit that I´m liking - says Luna - It seems he is in love.
- Why do you say that? - asks Usagi in surprise.
- By the song he is playing. It seems it is for someone.
Usagi looks with a sad baby face to Yusuke.
- Please! Don´t let that be true! - she says, joining her hands like if she was praying - I wanna try my chance with him!
- Usagi! Don´t be nonsense! And concentrate in your true mission here! - says Luna.
Luna´s tone was so imperative that Usagi didn´t dare to contradict her.
Playing a last note, the pianist gets up from his chair and greets everyone, announcing that he had finish.
After that, he disappears behind of a service door.
Usagi was about to follow him when she notices a redhaired woman approaching of that door. The woman looks around, seeing if she was being watched, and feeling satisfied, she gets in.
- Is better if you follow him. I've a bad feeling about that woman - says Luna, remembering the devilish look in the eyes of that woman.
- Me too, Luna. Lets go!
Usagi follows by that door and follows by the stairs. At that time, her transformation disappeared since she no longer need it.
Suddently she hears a man screaming downstairs and runs to help him, knowing that it was Amade´s screaming.
When she arrives at the parking place, she sees Amade unconscious in the floor and the redheared woman next to him, looking at him with a devilish smile. She was also grabbing a pen in her hands.
- Hey! What are you doing? - asks Usagi in panick, seeing that the woman was about to kill the poor man.
The woman disappears behind of a car and then she flys from there and leaving that place.
Usagi runs to Yusuke who was still unconcious in the floor.
- Amade, are you alright? - she asks, touching his shoulders and shaking him a little.
- My pen.. - he mumbles with his eyes closed.
Usagi looks in the direction of his hand and sees a box with a bow and with a note saying "Song for Akiko". It was empty but clearly there was something in there that the demon stole.
- For some reason the demon was interested in what was inside of this box - says Luna.
Yusuke starts getting up slowly and sees his box opened and empty.
- Where is my pen? - he asks.
- What? Did you have a pen in there?
- Yes. It is for someone very important. Where is it? - he asks abruptly, shaking her shoulders.
- Well!... - Usagi hesitates a little, surprised by his reaction - I think that "thing" took it.
Without thinking twice, Yusuke runs to his car.
- Hey! Wait for me! - says Usagi running to the passanger side.
Yusuke was driving faster by the road. Even if Usagi was protesting about his speed, he wasn't listening.
- I need to get that pen at any cost.
- You did it for the one you love, right? - she asks with a lightly and provocative smile.
- How do you know that? - he asks with a small blushing.
- Well! I´m already a very grown girl and I understand this kind of things - she says, while Luna was looking at her with a " what the hell" look - And you seems so focused on get this pen back. Is not hard to understand. But how do you got in all this trouble for that pen?
He explained that on that afternoon he went to see Akiko to declare himself but he couldn´t because she was to much busy. She returned to him that pen that she didn´t understood that was a present for her. When he was going in the direction of the bar where he plays piano, he saw that woman transforming into that monster and she started chasing him.
- Weird! Being after you just because of that pen - she says.
Then Luna touches lightly in her neck:
- Maybe that pen is very important to them because it makes part of their plan - she says, trying not being heard by Amade.
- Maybe you have right. But how can be a simple pen with a music recorded in it being of their interest? - asks Usagi, confused with all of that.
Both Luna and Usagi share confused looks.
- I don´t know - says Luna - But maybe...
- But why are you helping me with this? - asks Amade suddently.
Usagi and Luna jumped from their seat after hearing Amade´s question. For their relief they noticed that he didn´t listen them talking with each other and Usagi could answer him without problems.
- Well, I noticed you are in love with someone and that you were hesitant with that.
- Well! I don´t know if she loves me, you know? She is always nice and caring with me, but I don´t know if she feels the same way as I do.
- I think its time that you confess your feelings - she advises - Like that you´ll never know what you´ll expect.
- I don´t know. I´ve affraid that she is not in love with an old guy like me. Probably I´ll not have a chance in love anymore.
- Age is not something that will stop you of falling in love with someone. You have the right to fall in love with who you want - she deffends with all her certain - And I think you must fight for her.
He looks at her with curiosity and says:
- Thank you - he says.
Usagi couldn´t avoid a small blushing with his look. She knew it wasn´t already because of a crush, but because she was liking Yusuke´s determination. She was no longer trying her chance with him. Now she was determinated to help him to conquer the woman he loves. She knew it was the right thing to do.
Soon the rain stopped and Usagi put her head out to see the demon flying. When she sees it, she informs Yusuke immediatly.
He stopped the car next to the place where Usagi saw the demon landing.
- Are you sure you saw that thing landing in that building? - he asks her.
- Yes I am.
- Oh no! Akiko is on that building.
- Really? - She asks, worried.
Both run to the elevator and they arrive at the floor where was Akiko and her team. They saw that all of them were unconscious and that the redheared woman was next to them, ready to use the pen in that station.
Then Luna jumps in front of her and she drops the pen in front of Usagi´s footh. Usagi grabs it immediatly.
- Give up! - She says to the woman.
Without thinking twice, the woman shows her demon form.
- Give me that pen immediatly! - She orders.
- Then tell me why do you need it! - says Usagi.
Then the demon grabs Akiko and trears her with her long claws in front of them.
- Don´t you hurt her ! - yells Yusuke.
- This idiot took my pen when I was about to use it in this music station to take energy from people - the demon explained.
Then Yusuke takes the pen from Usagi´s hand and looks carefully to it.
- This is not my pen. This one doesn't has the inscription that I made.
- So thats why she wants this - says Usagi, facing the demon again - You were about to use this pen in here when Akiko thought it was Yusuke´s pen and took it by mistake.
- Clever girl!- then she flies, holding Akiko - You have fifteen minutes to return it our I´ll kill this woman. Take it to the Concert Hall.
- Please don't! - Yusuke begged.
Then the demon breaks the glass of that floor and flies from there with Akiko.
Yusuke also runs away from there even if Usagi asked him to wait, but nothing could was stopping him.
- Usagi! Transform yourself! - says Luna.
- Right! MOON PRISM POWER MAKEUP!
The demon lands in the Concert Hall and ties Akiko at a pole. Soon Yusuke arrives there too with the pen in his hands. He was breading hard because he runned until there in dispair.
- Here is your pen. Now please, let Akiko go! - he begs.
Yusuke throws the pen to the demon and she grabs it. Then he tries to reach Akiko but the demon grabs him by his neck.
- I never said I wasn´t going t kill you both - she says with a devilish smile.
- Please, don´t - begs Akiko.
She was about to stab him with his claws when...
- Don't you dare doing that! - demands a young female voice invading that space.
All of them look at Sailor Moon with surprise, seeing her and her platinum blond hair shining in the middle of the spotlight.
- You dare to use music for your dirty plans and then to put at risk the life of one of the most lovely and adorable pianists in the world, and of the woman he loves. I´ll never forgive you for that. In name of the moon, I´ll punish you.
The demon attacks her with supersonic waves, so powerful and faster that Sailor Moon and Luna barelly had time to deviate from them.
- With this supersonic waves is difficult to defead her - says Luna, lied down in the floor with her face touching it.
- You said "supersonic waives"? - Sailor Moon repeats her words and then pays attention to a microphone that was right next to them - I know what to do.
She grabs the microphone, turns it on, and trows it in the middle of that supersonic waives´s attack.
Then a powerful and strong sound breaks from the columns and hits the demon with all its strength.
- There you have, being defeated by your own amplified sound waves - says Sailor Moon with victory.
Then Sailor Moon takes the chance to defeat the demon with her tiara, who disappears in the middle of dust.
After that, Sailor Moon aproaches of Yusuke who was hugging Akiko protectively. Both look at her, still impressed with her fight.
Sailor Moon bends down and touches in the shoulders of both.
- I wish you happiness and all the best in life!
Then she runs and jumps from there, while Yusuke and Akiko share a big and lovely hug between both, so strong like if they were affraid of being separated.
Some days after, Usagi and all her class were in a concert hearing Usuke Amade playing a beautiful peace of piano. Everyone was impressed with it and with Sailor Moon silhouette as the background of that stage. Clearly that song was made in tribute of Sailor Moon and thats why all of them wanted to explode with euphoria in there, and Miss Haruna more than everyone else. For much that she was trying to be serious about that issue, she wasn´t able to hide that she was already a big fan of Sailor Moon.
When Usuke finishes is music, everyone cheered him and he greeted everyone with respect. Then he approaches of the crew and grabs the hand of a lady who follows him into the middle of the stage. Now both were greeting them.
- Usagi, who is that lady? - asks Naru.
- She is Yusuke´s fiancee. Her name is Akiko - answers Usagi naturally.
- Oh no! - says Naru with a baby face - And I thought that I would have a chance with him!
- I understand you. He is so courages and romantic.
- How do you know that? Do you know him so that well? - asks Naru surprised.
Usagi shares a mysterious look with her and says:
- Come on, Naru! Just be happy, seeing him with the one he loves - Usagi advises her.
Naru relaxes in her chair and looks to Usagi. Both smile to each other and then both look to the happy couple in the middle of the stage.
This is one of my favourites episodes of Sailor Moon. I really liked Usagi´s participation in it and the inteligence she showed when she defeated this demon. I believe that this side that I´m showing of Usagi in this remake was one that Usagi already had before she met her partners in the original episodes, and this episode clearly showed that. I think Usagi´s determination wasn´t explored the way it should be. She didn´t need to meet her partners like if she was so that dumb and facing Rey´s harshness in sush an harsh way. For much that it helped Usagi to grow, there were things that I heard Rey´s saying to Usagi that broke my heart. She didn´t deserve them.
