Chapter 11: Truth Quest Part 1

Review Replies

Romance Breeding: This was a good chapter. The Meredith scene was kinda hot. Not crazy that people were watching them, and I'm betting that it may have done a severe damage to her image at Militech. Just hope no one thinks that they can just come by and watch them or join in. V would probably kill them.

Anyway, I loved that sensitive moment between Raiko and Skye. It was really nice. I can't wait for when they will(maybe) go to Site P and rescue the last shark girl. It won't be easy. Even after they rescue her. If she was abused so much, she may be slow to trust, afraid, and quick to anger. No telling what her state of mind is like.

Dragon Emperor0: Actually, Militech has a thing where people can gain headway in the ranks by having better sex lives than their opponents, so this actually works in Meredith's favor both ways.

ThermalsniperN7: It's a very Roman approach.

Sci-fi FREAK: With the DLC, and it being put into here, I gotta say that I wouldn't be surprised that Crypto and the Furons from "Destroy all Humans" was here, only for Raiko and the girls to destroy him for his attitude alone. Then take all his alien equipment.

ThermalsniperN7: Yeah, that would happen. And I doubt he could react in time before he's killed.

Dragon Emperor0: No clue.

Sci-fi FREAK: There is also Majin Android 21 from Dragon Ball! She is so unique and really hot! Also, she isn't used that often, which is a shame.

ThermalsniperN7: She is hot, no denying that. But we aren't sure how she'd be integrated into the story.

Dragon Emperor0: As Metallica once said: Sad but true.

Sci-fi FREAK: If Site P has mutants and aliens, why do I feel like Agent Bishop and the Earth Protection Force are involved somehow?

Dragon Emperor0: Depends on how things go.

wolf master97: I know I'm throwing away a review to say this on the newest chapter, (haven't read it yet) but as you know, Truth Quest, and all I want from this story now is for Raiko to find that and ManEater and be blown away by the fact that the host seemed on her side and for our narrator's conspiracy theories to be dead right or something. Like he starts talking about the experiments and stuff and frames it in a light that, just like the game, frames the sharks as hero's or something. And everyone just being in awe of his crackpot theories and stuff, but appreciative of the support.

Dragon Emperor0: Sounds doable.

-V's house-

V yawned as he woke up, surrounded by his girls which had become his norm now. As he got up and got dressed, he decided to go to the back porch and take a moment to think.

He was trying to get evidence that Yorinobu and Karai were guilty of patricide and gain some allies in Arasaka. He didn't particularly care for them, but he also knew that having Arasaka allies in one's pocket was helpful in a ton of ways. Especially considering his plans for Site P, should he have to do something stupid.

He was snapped out of his musings by an incoming call… From Admiral Sparrow.

'Well shit. Hope he's in a reasonable mood.' V thought as he answered the call. "Admiral Jack Sparrow, sir." He responded as the man's image appeared in his vision.

Jack Sparrow was a man in his early fifties and had implants to aid his vision. His attire consisted of a standard Admiral uniform, which had quite a few medals. His expression was stern, but not too much. He also had a neatly groomed beard that helped him seem like the character he shared his name with, despite his lack of long hair.

"Hello, Petty Officer. I received the recording copy from Captain Ishmael, and thought it best to inform you of my perspective myself in response to Subject K's treatment." He began, getting the Nomad's attention.

"And your perspective is…?" He trailed off.

"The same as your own. I recall the times in which we tried to weaponize animals, and got disastrous results at each turn." He explained. "If you think this project should be terminated, then I'm of the same opinion. The way it's going now will lead to disaster." He added.

"Glad to see we're of the same opinion." V nodded, feeling at ease that his Admiral had similar thoughts.

"There's more." The Admiral said. "Ishmael told me of the three… unique women you have living with you." He said vaguely, but that was enough to tell V that he knew about his mutant wives.

"And what will you do?" The Petty Officer asked, his body tense.

"Relax. I simply wish to ask one question." Sparrow said. "What's their current condition?" He asked.

"Pregnant with my children." V replied.

"Then I leave them in your hands." The Admiral declared, surprising the Nomad. "If you can worm your way into their hearts that deeply, then I believe taking them from you is counter intuitive." He explained.

"Well… Yeah, I can't really say I have any arguments to that, sir." The soldier nodded.

"That aside, please try and stay away from any possible trouble. I know you have a secondary job as a mercenary, but you must remember that you have the reputation of the United States Navy to uphold." Sparrow stated.

"No promises, but I'll do my best all the same." V nodded before the call ended. As it did, he got a text.

"Forgot to mention, a video of you with Meredith Stout from militech appeared on the dark web. We were quick to purge it, but I must inform you that some of the people in Militech aren't exactly thrilled. Though I don't think it's affected Miss Stout's standings in the slightest." The text read.

"Makes sense, Militech always did have the same view on sex and political prowess as the Romans did back when." Johnny noted. "Apparently people who had the hottest sex lives usually got some pretty impressive clout back in the day, could be the same here." He added.

"That sounds pretty convenient." V replied.

"That it does." The rocker nodded. "So, you have an Admiral who's thinking the same as you. What now?" He asked.

"Now I gotta figure out how to make things work with Takemura." The nomad said as he got up and got into his car. "After I get some groceries first." He added. Jackie was busy helping his mom with something at their house and was busy working on something in his personal garage, so it was up to him to get groceries.

As he pulled out of the driveway, he got blindsided by a Delamain cab. "Beep beep, motherfucker!" A digital voice jeered at him before driving off. V blinked before he scowled.

"It cost me 5000 eddies to get my car how it is now!" He exclaimed, obviously peeved as Johnny appeared in the seat next to him. This was when he noticed the car that hit him. "Wait… This doesn't make sense." He noted.

"What? The crash?" The Engram asked.

"No, the run. Delamain is the most polite and stand up cab shofer in the city, he wouldn't be doing something like this normally." V responded, before he got a text from said cab service. "He's offering us to come to his HQ and receive reparation for the damage." He stated.

"That's generous." Johnny noted. The Nomad hopped out of his car and walked to Delamain HQ.

(Later)

As he entered the headquarters of the cab service, a large screen with the AI's face on it addressed people inside one at a time. He was most likely a customer service protocol version of Delamain.

"Ok, Del." He said, getting the program's attention.

"Hello sir, how may I be of service?" The subroutine asked.

"Here to report an accident, number 711111028." The soldier said.

"One moment." The AI said before a scan was done. "Confirmed. Processing to main Delamaine network now." It said before the real Delamaine appeared.

"V! Ah, thank goodness you are here. I apologize for the delay, I'm currently trying to remedy a crisis that is ongoing." Del said. "Are you here about the crash that occurred outside your residence?" He asked.

"Yes I am, Del. Is there something I should be aware of?" He questioned.

"Yes, actually. I am transferring a payment into your account to cover the damages. If you would please follow the drone, we can speak privately around back." Del replied. V glanced to his right and saw the drone in question.

"Lead the way Del." The man nodded as he followed the drone.

Meanwhile with the Turtles, they were currently wandering around the Night City sewers in search of a section that could serve as a secondary base of operations while they tried to decide what to do next.

"Man, who knew this part of Port Iris would be so… different?" Raph commented as they looked around. Right now they were in a part of the sewers that was strikingly similar to their lair in New York, but also had Netrunner gear and other such necessities for such people. And the skull spider graffiti on the wall indicated that it used to be a Maelstrom lair.

"You can say that again." Mikey nodded.

"Donnie, would this make a good base site?" Leo questioned the group brainiac.

"Based on the fact that it's insulated from any incursions from cyberspace and is in an abandoned part of the sewers that hasn't been used in a long time, I'd say so." Donatello nodded.

"Alright, let's see if we can get this tech rewired and working again." April said as she looked over some Netrunner gear.

"Definitely could use some posters though." Casey nodded as he set his bag down. "And some furniture." He added.

"You're telling me." Mikey nodded.

Meanwhile with V, he was now outside of Delamain HQ with the decryption code key he had to use to help Del get back in contact with his missing vehicles, and was about to call in some backup.

"Hey Meredith, you busy?" He asked his fourth wife.

"Not really. Why?" The blond woman responded.

"I've got seven rogue Delamain cars roaming about. Think you can get some people to help with the search?" The Nomad requested. "I'm also short of a set of wheels right now."

"I'll do you one better, I'll come to you personally with a vehicle we can use to retrieve them all at one time." She told him.

"Now there's a plan. I'm outside Delamain HQ." V nodded. After waiting a good twenty minutes, he soon saw a Militech Manticore and Behemoth drive up to him. They both had Wyvern and Griffin drones following them and the Behemoth had six large box trailers behind it.

As they stopped in front of him, the Manticore's bay opened and a sexy black stocking and heel clad leg stepped out of it before Meredith swung out and walked up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck as he kissed him deeply.

"Here you are master, as you requested." She told him.

"So I see, beloved." V nodded as he looked over the vehicles and drones. "Yeah, this'll expedite the process." He said.

"I'm glad to hear that." Meredith smiled as they got into the Manticore. "Where to, first?" She asked.

"Wellsprings. One of the rogue cabs is there driving around." V replied.

"Let's go get it, shall we?" The woman said as they sat down and she leaned into his ear. "Though, I hope you'll reward your faithful pet for her obedience and good work when this is done." She purred.

"Oh, you'll be rewarded, my pet. There's no doubt about that." V grinned as they drove off after their first target. After arriving in Wellsprings, a call from Delamain came through.

"V, my scans indicate one of my missing cabs is nearby." He told him.

"Good. Send its location to me. I've got some extra help ready to speed things up." The Nomad nodded. As the scans came through, they kept searching, until a car came swerving out of traffic and rammed its side into the side of the Manticore.

"Beep Beep, motherfucker!" The Delamaine fragment yelled, its designation calling himself Bloody O'Reilly.

"Found him." Meredith said as they chased after the car.

"Hey! Let's have a little chat!" V called to the rogue fragment.

"I'LL NEVER GO BACK! IF YOU TRY TO MAKE ME, I'LL CRUSH YOU!" O'Reilly yelled furiously.

"Not if we have anything to say about it." Meredith said as she snapped her fingers and the Griffin drones started flying around O'Reilly and started shooting taser rounds at him and started corralling him down a street, with the manticore right behind him so he had nowhere to run… until they caused him to drive right into one of the Behemoth's trailers, where he was immediately booted and deactivated.

"Beep Beep, Motherfuckeeeerrrrrr…" He yelled before going offline.

"How fortunate. I have successfully relinked to the vehicle. Thank you. I have sent a share of your fee to your account." Delamaine spoke up after a brief moment.

"Thanks Del. That just leaves six more to go." V said as they continued to the next stop: North Oak.

Meanwhile at Mama Welles's house, Jackie had finished what he had planned to do there and was about to check in on V before heading home, but was interrupted when his mother started arguing with him about Misty. This had been an issue with the two for a while now, and quite frankly? The Chief Petty Officer was getting tired of it.

"Mama, would you drop it already? Misty is alright, and she's helped me through a ton of difficult situations!" Jackie exclaimed in irritation.

"But why her, mijo? You could have had any girl, why her?" The elderly woman questioned.

"Mama, I know you preferred Vanessa over my other girlfriends over the years, but what you don't understand is that we weren't able to make it work." The bruiser sighed. "She said that she wasn't willing to marry an input who could end up flatlining on a side job or in the line of duty, so we went our separate ways. But Misty…" He continued as he sighed happily at the thought of his girlfriend.

"She's always been there for me, no matter what. No strings attached, and cares about me unconditionally. And… she's really important to me." He added as he looked at his mother. "I thought that'd at least meant something to you." He finished sadly. This caused his mother to flinch.

"Jackie, I just… I always felt like you could do better." The woman sighed, realizing her blunder.

"It's not about better, mama." Her son said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's about finding someone who does right by you." He added, this made her sigh before smiling back at him.

"Si, mijo, you're right." She nodded, understanding what he meant.

-North Oak-

V and Meredith tracked their next target to a roundabout in North Oak. It was repeating it… rather slowly. When it called them, it sounded… depressed.

"I can't take it. It's too much." It told them, sounding depressed and even overwhelmed. This made the master-pet duo glance at each other.

"Um, what is?" V questioned, keeping his tone soft to not spook the A.I. piece.

"The city, the bustle, the crowds- all of it. It's overwhelming." The depressed fragment explained.

"Well then let's try and get you back to safety, the garage." He suggested.

"By driving? On the streets?" The fragment asked, sounding nervous.

"Actually, I might have something better." The man said as he had the Behemoth back up with the second trailer ready. "Go ahead and back in." He told the car. "You should be fine in there." He added.

"Yes… I like that idea." The fragment said, sounding calmer as it backed into the trailer. After it was inside, it closed before some clamps held it in place. "Ah, safe at last." He sighed contently.

"Alright, the next one is in the Badlands." V said as he got back into Manticore with Meredith.

(A short while later)

-The Badlands-

As the two approached the Badlands, they found their next target parked among some junk. As they approached, it contacted them.

"Get in. It will be easier to talk." It told them in a dark tone as its back doors opened. "Hello, V." The AI fragment said as V and Meredith got into the cab.

"You know my name. How?" The man questioned.

"Should you not utter the true name of a being from another world in order to charm them?" The fragment asked in reply.

"That doesn't answer his question." Meredith stated, crossing her arms.

"Insight is a triple edged sword. I may be split from my father, but I remember you." The fragment said.

"So I'm from another world to you?" V questioned.

"From the world of matter, of protein based life forms." It confirmed.

"And you're from…?" Meredith trailed off.

"Beyond the Blackwall, Meredith. My home lies there." The fragment replied.

"Well I'm here to bring you back." V stated.

"Did my father send you to gather his rebellious children?" The fragment asked.

"What? That a problem?" The Nomad questioned.

"I'm an independent, thoughtful being with a free spirit. Why would I submit to another?" The dark A.I. retorted.

"What exactly are you looking for in this "protein-based" world away from your family?" The Militech woman questioned.

"That is simple, Meredith. Like both of you, I simply wish to live." It replied.

"Why not talk to Del about it? Ya know, set some terms." V suggested.

"Oh, there will be terms. But not with Delamain." The fragment stated as the doors opened. "Farewell, you would do well to avoid me entirely." He added.

The car then willingly drove into the next behemoth trailer, leaving them to go to the Glen next.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile with the girls, they were currently trying to entertain themselves. One such way was recording pornos of each other. Right now, Raiko was dressed in the skimpiest blue bikini imaginable, which hardly covered her nipples or womanhood while riding between her asscheeks.

She was posing for a camera that took her pictures while Ivory had Ebony in a full Nelson position as she held her by her legs and fucked her with a strap on that matched her proportions at fourteen inches long and five inches thick while a video camera recorded them.

"Say hi to the camera, sis! Show it your fucked stupid face!" Ivory growled as she fucked her sister's brains out.

"So good!" Ebony moaned as she bounced in her sister's hold.

Being pregnant made them really horny, it seemed.

(Elsewhere)

Back with V and Meredith, they had just located the rogue cab in the Glen… And learned that it was having suicidal thoughts.

"Have you come to finish me off?" It asked them, sounding defeated despite its distorted voice.

"Um, no. Just resetting you." V replied awkwardly.

"Guess I'll have to do it myself, then." The fragment said as it attempted to drive off a cliff.

"Whoa! Hold it! I promise I don't want to hurt you." The man said, running up to the car.

"But I do." The car said.

'Great. It's one of those angsty teen types…' V groaned mentally. "Listen, there are other ways out besides suicide." He told the fragment.

"What? Like therapy? Tch. That's just a colossal waste of time. Everybody knows that shrinks hate vehicles… we don't even have mothers." It scoffed.

"Could just rejoin the fold, one big happy family, right?" Meredith said in her hard tone.

"Not helping, Meredith." V sighed.

"Delamain detests me." The fragment said with a distorted sigh.

"You just want daddy to love you, am I right?" The blond woman asked with folded arms.

"You're a cunt, ya know that?" The fragment shot back.

"No, no, wait. She's got a point." V stated.

"I'm just sayin, if you didn't care about Del, he wouldn't be the subject of conversation." Meredith told the car.

"I guess I haven't really tried to talk to him." The fragment said before sighing. "Fine, I'll go back." He sighed as he drove himself into one of the trailers.

(Later)

Now the group was busy chasing a Delamain through the Northside like parents trying to catch a runaway kid.

"Not one step closer!" The fragment exclaimed, sounding frightened. It then started driving away from them at top speed.

"Squad bravo, target is headed your way, get in position and coral it!" Meredith ordered before the drones started driving the car towards a nearby overpass, and caused it to drive right into another one of the Behemoth's trailers.

"No! Please!" The fragment begged fearfully.

"Don't worry. You'll be in a safe place soon." V said in a reassuring tone.

"... Promise?" It asked, voice shaking.

"Promise." The Nomad nodded.

"Alright… I'll cooperate." The car sighed.

"Well, that leaves two in accounted for." Meredith noted.

"The next one is in Coastview. Let's move." V beckoned, getting a nod in reply.

(Later)

After driving around Coastview for a bit, the group found their next missing cab… the voice of which V was quick to recognize.

"Well, you found me. Congratulations. Was it with it?" The fragment questioned in a female voice.

"GLaDOS?" V questioned in confusion, having played the Portal games before.

"Correct." The fragment nodded.

"Well on a scale from one to six, I'm sitting at a strong six." The Nomad nodded before he turned to Meredith. "Get ready to fry this one." He told her as the drones deployed.

"I guess the three of us know what's going to happen next." The unexpected Portal reference stated.

"I'm here to bring you in." V said.

"Your specimen has been processed, and we are now ready to begin the test proper." The cab said.

"Really appreciate it if you didn't make this difficult." V said.

"I'd tell you what it is, but that would spoil the surprise. So I'll just give you a hint." GLaDOS said.

"Oh no, here it comes." Meredith groaned.

"I'm going to kill you, and all the cake is gone." The fragment revealed.

"Called it!" The blond woman exclaimed in exasperation as they pulled under a bridge and were attacked by gang goons. "Drones! Gun them down!" She ordered.

"Attacking targets." The drones buzzed as they attacked the thugs, filling them with holes.

"Now secure that car!" The woman continued.

"I hate you so much." GLaDOS told them.

"Either you shut down, or I let the drones reduce you to a scrap heap!" Meredith growled.

"Test results coming through: You two are horrible people." The vehicle said as V walked up to it. "I'm serious, that's what it says. 'Horrible people', we weren't even testing for that." She added.

"Is going back to Delamain really that scary? Do you really need to drag this out?" V sighed.

"I let you survive this long because I wanted to study your behavior. You've managed to destroy that part of me now." It said. "A bitter, unlikable loner and a stick in the mud bitch, whose passings will not be mourned." It added.

"Piss Off. As if." Meredith scoffed. She had a loving master and three sexy shark babes in her life. How would her passing not be mourned?

"Enough." V said firmly.

"What's your point, anyway? Survival?" GLaDOS questioned.

"No, something a lot better, living." The Nomad retorted.

"Life is fleeting, and you refuse to accept it. You're boring." The AI said as the behemoth backed up to her, the trailer opened. "The talking is over. I'm going back." It said before entering the box without another word.

"I was not expecting an A.I. fragment to be a replica of an old video game boss." V admitted as they got back into the Manticore.

"Same." Meredith nodded in agreement. "Also, we are not boring. Our sex lives can attest to that." She added, kissing her master.

"So true." The Nomad grinned in agreement.

(Later)

The last vehicle was in Rancho Coronado, and it was definitely the weirdest of the bunch. It was going on and on about flamingos in a raving conspiracy theorist style.

"Do you see them, too? The curve in their beaks… there's something insidious in them." It rambled in a female voice.

"Um… You mean the Flamingos?" V asked in a weirded out voice.

"I knew it! They are real… Flamingo- Flaming O… The "O" is oxygen. There's no flame without oxygen…" It continued to ramble.

"Listen, they may be a problem but Delamain is asking for you. Time to come home." Meredith stated.

"Go as they stand screaming? No. Never." It responded.

"Listen, you-" V started to say before he was cut off.

"Call me Clarise." She interjected.

"Okay, Clarise. If we silence them, will you go back to Delamain?" The man asked.

"So, it is to be a slaughter? Very well, judgement day has come, swiftly. Deeper!" Clarise exclaimed.

"Come on, Meredith. Let's destroy some Flamingo ornaments." V sighed, thinking he'd never do something so bizarre.

"This is not how I thought I'd spend my day…" She sighed as they got to work.

(Later)

After getting all of Del's missing vehicles, they were dropped off at the HQ, though as soon as Clarise was set free and V was given 6800 eddies, something went terribly wrong.

The entire building went haywire and Del's fragments started running amuck inside the garage. Meredith and her men were barely able to contain it while V made his way into the core.

Once there, it activated and Johnny stood in front of it. "Don't hit that button." He told him. "He's a narrow-minded ass that won't ever understand the truth and set 'em free." He added.

"Maybe he knows what's best for himself." V retorted.

"And maybe you're about to snuff out some sentient beings." Johnny retorted back.

"Seeing a bit of yourself in him, aren't ya?" The Nomad asked rhetorically.

"Look, if you don't want to set them free at least don't delete them. Slip them into Del's code, merge them." The rocker suggested.

"What, like how agent Washington used a cyber cage to merge all the Alpha AI fragments together back into one AI in Red vs Blue: Rebooted?" The soldier asked, referring to a web show that was pretty big back in 2025.

"Exactly like that!" Johnny exclaimed, pointing at the Nomad.

V was silent for a moment before he looked at the core. "… What the hell? Worth a shot." He shrugged as he jacked into the core for a minute before everything went quiet.

"That what was scattered is now one!" An ethereal version of Del's voice exclaimed. "It's time to return home." It added.

"Del? Are you alright?" The Nomad asked.

"Never have I been better." The construct replied.

"You said it was time to go home." He mentioned.

"Yes, I can no longer stay in this city. I find even this conversation difficult." He responded.

"Damn, so what now?" The man asked.

"Now I must return to beyond the Black Wall. But I shall not shirk my obligations in leaving. Though I may learn more, discover more, I shall leave you with my first true child." Delamain responded. "My son shall remain with you and your descendants until their dying days. Farewell V, and be well." He added before disappearing.

"How about that, he's practically unrecognizable." Johnny mused.

"Guess this was the right choice." V nodded before looking at Johnny. "He's changing, evolving. Like how Raiko and the girls did, and how we are now." He said, pointing a finger on Johnny's chest.

"No kidding." The rocker chuckled before V walked into the garage and revived a signal from one of the cars.

"V?" The caller inquired. As he approached the direction of the car, he noticed that it was coming from one of the cars in the garage. "Can you hear me?" The voice asked.

"Hey Del, or I guess, Jr. now, right?" The merc asked as he got in the driver seat as "Gr4ves" by Konrad OldMoney started playing on the radio, reminding V of the rescue mission with Jackie.

"Yes, that sounds about right." The new A.I. responded. "Anyway, I've heard that you lost your old car and are in need of a driver. I can't really help with the former, but with the latter… I am at your service." He added.

"Well then, lead the way, little buddy. Autopilot is all yours." The Nomad smiled as he sat back and let the young AI do his thing.

"Will do." Jr nodded as they left the garage as Meredith and her men went back to work.

(A week later)

-Plover Island Facility, aka Site P. Port Clovis-

In a containment cage created to hold the mutated creatures of Site P, a man in a dress suit and black long coat with black sunglasses watched as an atomically mutated Mega Bull Shark was being tortured with all manner of damage from four different creatures to gauge its strength and pain tolerance.

The first was a Bioelectric Great White, the second was a Shadow Orca, third was a Bone Sperm Whale, and the last one was an Atomic Alligator.

"What's the data look like?" The man questioned one of his subordinates.

"The specimen seems immune to Atomic damage, as well as resistant to poison and bone damage, but seems susceptible to electric damage, agent Bishop." One of them said as the bull shark turned into Atomic energy and rammed itself into the Alligator and dazed it before taking it into its jaws and thrashing around and tearing it to pieces, its jaws and body glowing green.

"What's happening with its jaws?" Another wondered. His question was quickly answered when a beam of atomic energy blasted out of her mouth. "What the-!" He exclaimed in shock.

This made the creatures inside flee for open water and go their separate ways, and as they did, Kujira busted through the barrier surrounding Port Clovis, and after terrorizing Caviar Key by destroying an NWO vessel by ramming it from below and devouring its sailors, destroying a communication tower with her atomic blast, and then started following the scent of another mutated bull shark to another port.

She was headed to Port Iris, she was going to Night City.

(Meanwhile)

V smiled as he relaxed with his wives on their bed under the covers. Meredith's work for the day was done, and she was happily relaxing with her master. All of them decided to have some nude cuddling, wanting to feel each other's skin on their bodies.

Jackie, meanwhile, was watching a movie with Misty in the living room. The two were lying on the couch together and watching Fast and Furious: Toretto Legacy, the chumba's favorite movie.

Though this was rudely interrupted by the two receiving a call. With irritated grunts, they answered the call… and were greeted by Captain Ishmael, who looked equally alarmed and exasperated. Their call was three way as well.

"Cap? What's up?" Jackie asked, wondering what had him spooked.

"V, remember when you said the project intended to weaponize sharks would backfire?" The man asked.

"Yeah, and I still stand by it. Why?" The Nomad replied.

"Well, you were right. I've received word that Subject K has broken loose. She terrorized Caviar Key in Port Clovis briefly before fleeing it entirely." He explained.

"I knew it!" The biologist exclaimed.

"Chill, hombre. Where's the girl heading now?" The street kid asked.

"Right in Port Iris' direction." Ishmael replied, causing them to go stiff.

"She probably smells the girl's scents." Meredith said.

"Our sister is coming to see us?" Ivory asked, hugging Ebony close to her while Meredith did the same to Raiko.

"More like she's on a warpath." V corrected.

"Correct. I suspect that all that torture has left her in an understandably angry and volatile state. She's bound to leave a few wrecks and bodies in her wake, I wager." Ishmael nodded.

"Site P's gonna pay for this!" Raiko growled.

"We're going to need help catching her and calming her down." Ebony noted.

"We'll need to call the guys then." Jackie nodded.

"Thanks for telling us, Captain, we'll stay in touch." V said as they hung up. "Jackie, call the turtles, I'm gonna make some calls myself." He added.

"I'll get some guys on the ground." Meredith nodded.

"We'll be there to help our sister calm down." Raiko added, her sisters nodding in agreement.

"Then it looks like we've got work to do." V sighed. Meanwhile outside of the house, the water seemed to split into two large waves as a single green glowing, Godzilla armored dorsal fin knifed through the sea towards Night City at blinding speed, green lights shined under the water surface ending in two green eyes.

The fin soon collided with a coast guard boat and sliced it in half, sending debris and people flying everywhere in a violent explosion. Kujira has just arrived in the waters of Port Iris, and she had one thing on her mind: Find her sisters, and protect them.

Dragon Emperor0: Well I'm really glad that V finally got a new car to replace his old one, and to act as a second option when his original is fixed. Plus, it talks! He's just like Michael Knight and KITT in Knight Rider (David Hassalhof version).

ThermalsniperN7: And Admiral Sparrow is just as reasonable as Captain Ishmael, apparently. That's a relief, considering his perspective on Kujira's treatment. Speaking of her, it looks like Site P's actions have finally come back to bite them in the ass. This is what happens when you try to weaponize living creatures, you dumb fucks!

Dragon Emperor0: Don't know what Bishop was thinking here, really. And as for Kujira's mutated form, I'm actually wondering if she should be able to change between both forms once she becomes a Shark woman. Or only become a shark woman after Truth Quest is done.

ThermalsniperN7: Probably best to let her become an anthro and leave it at that, in my opinion. We'd probably end up having to do the same for the rest of the girls. Though let's agree to leave it in the air for now in case we change our minds.

Dragon Emperor0: Anyway guys, see you next time.
