Author's Note: When I write, I just make up things as I go. I don't know if this is a blessing or a curse. Fingers crossed that this doesn't bite me in the a$$ in the future where I write myself into a corner! Anyways if anyone is curious about the size and the location of Mobotropolis in this story. The city is actually the same size as New York and the population is around 2 million. The city and the Acorn territory is located on a island somewhere near the United Federation. They're not that close. Think of the distance of Hawaii and the United States. Either way, good reading my dawgs!

Season 1 Episode 9

Gem Barf!

-Welcome to the fanfiction world of Sonic the hedgehog. A world unique and far different from what you know from the SEGA games and official publications. Where our focus is on a two-tailed fox named Miles "Tails" Prower.-

-The School Yard-

Tails was walking as he held the straps of the backpack that was on his back, looking down as he smiled at what had just occurred. 'I can't believe that actually happened! I actually kissed the girl of my dreams! How amazing is that?!' he walks through the crowded school yard as he cheeses hard with his eyes closed. 'Miles Prower, you are probably the luckiest fox in this world! I actually kissed Sally Acorn! THE most beautiful girl in Mobotropolis High- it's such a wonderful feeling that I-'

Bean pops his head out of Tails' backpack. "Jeez! I didn't know you two was gonna get all kissy-face THIS early!"

"AAH!" Tails gets startled and throws his backpack off him.

Bean crawls out of the backpack and stands up as he dusts himself off. "I thought that you two would kiss at the end of this season, but I guess I was wrong."

"Bean, how did you know?" asks the blushing fox.

The eccentric green woodpecker sighs as he stretches. "Lookie here fan-tail. I've explained this so many times." he places his hand on his chest and leans towards the yellow kitsune as he looks him directly in the eye. "I. Am. A. Multiversal. Deity. Remember that." he walks around the fox with his hands behind his back as he continues to explain. "I travel everywhere- and I mean EVERYWHERE."

"How?" Tails asks.

Bean grabs Tails cheeks and smoosh his face. "The same reason how I am green!" he lets the baffled fox's face go. "But I can tell you that I came from a world quite similar to this one. Only difference is that we males barely wore any clothing."

"Isn't that indecent exposure?" asked the yellow kitsune.

"Oh don't worry. We don't have any naughty bits like how you guys in this world has." Bean pauses as a thought crosses his mind. He looks at Tails. "You do have those naughty bits, right?"

"..." Tails' eyes shifts left and right as he felt uncomfortable. "I'd rather not answer."

"That's something for another time. Anyways, how did chipmunk girl's mouth tastes like?

Tails had enough of Bean's ramblings. So he picked up his backpack and walked away. "I don't have time for this Bean."

"This whole you liking Sally thing has never happened in any universe I've traveled to before! But now you know that I am a multiversal deity. Comprende?"

Tails turns around to Bean. "Yeah, and I am the main character of a story." he replies sarcastically. "What is this, a fanfiction?"

The camera shows Bean's face as he stares at you viewers for a few seconds then he looks at Tails and follows behind. "So, are you and Sally dating now?"

Tails' face turns red. "Um... no. We just kissed." he turns to Bean and grabs his shoulders. "But can you PLEASE not tell anyone this time? I don't want Sonic to get mad."

Bean nods his head rapidly. "Don't'cha worry. I won't tell this time!"

"You sure?" he raises an eyebrow.

"Yep! Your secret is safe with me. If anyone tries to tell I'll blow them to smithereens!" he summons a bomb from his hand as he gives a psychotic smile while his eyes trembles.

"Okay, that's too extreme..." Tails gets creeped out and slowly backs away.

-BEEP BEEP!-

"AYE YO! TAILS MON! LEMME TAKE YOU FO' A RIDE!" shouted Knuckles as he was in his Tahoe blasting Playboi Carti "Stop Breathing", causing the whole vehicle to shake as the doors along with the mirrors and windshield to rattle and vibrate.

Tails walks to the vehicle's direction but gets stopped by Bean grabbing his backpack.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" Bean turns Tails around to face him. "You're actually gonna let this tomato drive you around? That dude can't drive at all! He could get you killed! You're better off walking or using that butt of yours to fly home."

"You do have a point..." Tails thinks for a moment. "Eh. I'll bite." he shrugs and gets in the passenger side of the red suv. "See you later Bean!" Tails waves.

Knuckles as he dances to the music, slanging his dreads shouts the lyrics. "I TAKE MY SHIRT OFF AND ALL THE HOES STOP BREATHIN'!" he stops and looks at the yellow fox who is looking at him with a blank face. "Oh shit my bad mon." he turns the radio down. "So you ready to go?"

Tails nods. "Yeah. But can you take me to the doctor? I need to get my wound checked out, and no- please don't take me to the hospital."

"A'ight dawg. I gotchu. It's jus' you, me, and M-Dawg since Julie-Su gotta sing with them other chicks." Knuckles pulls out a CD case full of different CDs and takes the Playboi Carti CD out of the CD slot. He pulls out a Dr. Dre CD and inserts it in the CD slot. "Lemme play some gangsta shit, ya feel me mon?" The Next Episode by Dr. Dre plays and Knuckles peels off.

-Westside Mobotropolis-

Knuckles' Tahoe was swerving all over the street as he drove through the grass and into a parking lot. He parked his Tahoe slanted in two parking spots and cut the vehicle off and got out of the big red suv. Tails got out of the suv from the passenger side.

"Hey Knux, this doesn't look like the doctor's office. Why are we at a basketball court?"

Knuckles got the Master Emerald out from the booster seat at the backseat. "Don't worry mon. I know a old cat around here who does doctor type work fo' free. He homeless tho' but he should be walking around here." he slams the door and walks towards the basketball court. "Let me and M-Dawg do this rap battle, then we take you to him. A'ight?"

Tails sighed. "Okay... fine." and he follows behind the red echidna.

At a small basketball court with tall black fence surrounding it, Knuckles and the Master Emerald were seen in the middle of the court with a bunch of black guys with long dreads holding guns as they were surrounding them in a circle as they were bopping their heads to the rapping. The M.E now wore a black skullcap with a gold chain surrounding it on the floor along with a microphone next to it. Knuckles and the M.E were rap battling against anyone who dared to cross them. Lots of guys tried to battle rap but were unsuccessful at beating the unstoppable duo that was Knuckles and the M.E.

Knuckles walked around in the circle shouting at the crowd through the mic. "Who wants some of this?! I know fasho y'all don't want none! Y'all ain't 'bout that life!"

Tails, who was sitting down at the bench was in very bad pain. He was in too much pain to fly away thanks to the headaches he was having and he would feel like a bad friend for leaving during something that Knuckles was passionate about. So he just stayed. 'Oooooh... my head...' he rubbed his head as he laid on the bench. 'Hurry it up Knux... it feels as if my head is going to explode."

-At Mr. Senou's Band Class-

Back in Mobotropolis High, Mina, Sally, Bunnie, Nicole, and Julie-Su were on a stage with microphones in front of them. They were practicing their vocals with the song "You Can't Stop The Rain" by "Loose Ends". Sally had done an amazing job singing since she claimed that she does it as a hobby and attract Flickies. Bunnie done a great job, but the only thing that was bothering Mina was that Bunnie's singing sounded too countrified, so Mina was trying to work with her to make her accent less noticeable when singing. Mina, of course killed it since she has been singing all her life and she has experience since she is a pop singer. But Nicole and Julie-Su were having trouble singing. Nicole sounded too nasally and was straining her voice as she struggled to keep a note, while Julie-Su's singing sounded like a deaf kitten dying.

"No no no." Mina said as she smiled. "You two got it wrong." she looks at Nicole. "You're not supposed to strain your voice Nicole, that's bad for you. For your nasal singing problem, try to open your mouth a bit more, almost as if you're yawning and try to over exaggerate your mouth movements as well. That should help with your nasally tone."

Nicole nodded. "Ok! I'll try that then."

Mina looked at Julie-Su. "And as for your singing, I will work with you on how to get better at singing. It appears that you're not using any notes at all. I think we should work on your chest and head voice."

Julie-Su smiled as she put her hand on her hip. "Chiiile. I dunno anythang about no singing. I think you chose the wrong girl." she laughs.

Mina shakes her head no. "Mm-mm! I see your potential. If you practice more, you will be a great singer I just know it!" her eyes twinkled with stars in them. She turns around to Nicole. "Same goes for you as well." she smiles at all the girls. "Trust me on this."

Sally smiles at Mina. "Wow. You're so sweet."

Bunnie comments behind her. "Ah agree wit' Sally-gurl."

Mina smiles at the compliments she just received. "Okay then!" she walks to a lone microphone and taps it a few times as a little feedback from the mic erupts from the speakers. "Ok. Nicole and Julie-Su watch this, I'll show you how to do it. And if I point at any one of you, you have to sing a certain part. Got it?" the girls nod. Mina looks over to someone. "Alright bro, start the music!"

"Whatever..." said Ash, Mina's older brother as he looked down his phone while he had airpods in his ears. He pressed a button on the laptop to start the music.

Ash is a male mongoose who has yellow fur, jet black spikey hair, and blue eyes, but they weren't visible due to the dark shades he was wearing. He wore a white jacket with a red frowney face on the back of it, a red t-shirt with the word "DIE" on it in black, black wristbands with metal spikes on them, black baggy JNCO jeans with a two x's and a frown below the two x's making it into a dead face on the upper parts of the jeans, and black Bapestars sneakers. He also has piercings on his ears and he wore a black spiky collar around his neck.

Music: (You Can't Stop The Rain by Loose Ends)

From the speakers, relaxing sounds of rain and thunder could be heard, then the music starts.

Mina closes her eyes and places her hands on her chest. "Ooh, ooh, oooooooooooooh...oh yeah, yeah..." she looks over to Sally and Bunnie. "Sing it girls!"

Both Sally and Bunny sing in unison. "Yo do dum-dum da dae dum, yo do dae, yo don don do whoa. Yo do dum-dum da dae dum, yo do dae."

Mina continues the singing. "Seems to me, a little bit of fantasy. Walkin' blind..." the room dims as a spotlight shines on Mina. "If I get some time, to search beyond. There's no bell to ring, oh..." a tear rolls down Mina's cheek as she pours her heart into this singing. Mina opens her tearful eyes as she continues singing. "There will come a day when the lightning will crash. And maybe then we'll see." she looks down as she clenches her fist on her chest. "Everything we've known all gone in a flash." she looks up at the ceiling. "Is this our destiny? Oh-oh-oh..."she closes her eyes once again. "Splish..."

The girls were amazed by Mina's singing.

"You can't stop the rain..." she points to Nicole, giving her a cue to sing a certain part.

"You can't stop the rain!" Nicole strained as she closed her eyes shut, struggling to keep a note.

Mina, eyes still closed, grabbed on to the microphone as she began to move her body with it. "When it starts to pour..." she points to Julie-Su.

Julie-Su, even though she didn't want to, tried her best. "WHEN IT STARTS TO POUR!" she also strained as her voice cracked.

Mina, still moving her body continued. "There's no one else to blame..." she points to both Sally and Bunnie.

"There's no one else to blame..." they both sang in unison as they harmonized together.

"You can't lock the door..." Mina points to Ash.

Ash, who happened to look up from his phone from that time saw his younger sister point at him. 'What?! God dammit!' he cleared his throat and grabbed a nearby microphone and closed his eyes. "There comes a day when everyone will find, who they are, oh yeah..."

All the girls looked at each other as their mouths were wide open as they heard Ash's singing. His singing was smooth and on par with his younger sister's.

-Back to Tails & Knuckles...-

"Aye mane. Here go yo cash fo' being the winner of this rap battle and a dope ass rapper." said a tall lanky black dude with dreads as he handed the red echidna 1 grand in cash and walked away.

"Preciate it mon!" said the red echidna as he counted the dollars. "I'll holla at'chall next time fasho!" he walked up to Tails only to see the fox lying on the bench and he looked in real bad pain. "Aye dawg, you straight?"

Tails sat up as he rubbed on his head. "*Groans* ... No... Feels like my head's gonna explode."

Knuckles put the cash in his pocket. "Shit. Here," he hands Tails two Tylenol pills. "take this mug right here. They ain't good as rings but this oughta make you feel better. I would give you some Bob Marley but Ion feel you ain't ready yet, mon. Ya feel me?"

Tails looks down at the two white pills.

"I hope you can take that shit dry cuz I ain't got no drink." said the echidna. "A'ight. You stay here. Imma see if I can find that ol' jawn right quick. M-Dawg, watch Tails for me right quick." he ran off.

'Head, throbbing.' Tails was holding his head. 'Feels like I'm gonna die...' he closes one eye and looks down at the two pills. Fighting through the pain, Tails opened his mouth and chewed the two white pills. 'Well, if I die. Then at least I kissed Sally.' he joked to himself.

"Aye Tails mon! I found 'im!" shouted Knuckles as he waved his arm in the air as he walked beside a homeless old man. "This my dawg right here, Nate."

Nate was an elderly black man with white hair that was in a short afro with a goatee. He was tall and lanky and he walked with a cane. He wore big rectangle glasses, a long brown coat with holes in them, and some beat up looking house shoes.

They both stood in front of Tails.

"A'ight. Tails mon. This is Nate, but I call 'im Nate Dawg. Nate, this is Tails. He's my main mon!"

Nate held his hand out to shake Tails' hand. "What's up young blood?" he smiled revealing a gold tooth in the upper left side of his mouth. "The name's Nate Morgan. But you can call me Nate."

Tails, was still in pain, but was doing a bit better thanks to the pills going through his system. He looked the old man in his face almost in a daze like and struggled to lift his hand. A little bit of struggling and he finally shook the elderly man's hand. "I'm good..." responded the yellow kitsune as he tried to stay focused. "Hi N-Nate..." he wobbled a bit as he was loosing consciousness. Tails' eyes rolls to the back of his head and he falls over forward.

"Whoa whoa whoa." Nate caught him with his right hand. He pushes him back. "You alright lil man?"

Knuckles holds up his hand. "A'ight dawg. How many fingers am I holding up?"

Tails' eyes looks glossy and he starts to look pale. "Uuuh..." he bobs back and forth, struggling to maintain his balance. He leans forward as his hands grips on the edge of the bench. He squints at Knuckles' hand, trying to see as his vision is blurry and it focuses. He can finally see clear and realizes that Knuckles' fingers cannot be seen. "Zero, Knux. Your fingers is under your gloves."

Knuckles puts his hand down and nods as he smiles. "A'ight. A'ight." he looks at the tall black man. "I told you my homeboy smart. This jit be building machines and errythang."

This catches the old geezer's attention. "This lil fox here builds machines?" he looks at the sick kitsune as he rubs his chin.

Knuckles whips out his phone and scrolls through it. "Yeah. Them machines he be making be the shiznit! He built like them planes, some robots, and even a fake Chaos Emerald!" he finds a picture of the Tornado 2. "Like this right here!" he shows the picture to Nate.

"Oh! This young blood could be the genius you really say he is." he looks at Tails approvingly as he nods. "I think I can help this ol' kid out." he bends towards the fox to get a good look in his face. "So what's the problem with him again Knux?" he looks back to the red echidna.

"I think he got some gem in his head or some. He keeps complaining 'bout how his wound is hot and headaches 'n shit." the red echidna responded.

"Alright now." he looks at Tails' gauze pad bandage. "Imma need you to take your bandage off for me."

"Uh-huh..." said Tails as he looked off into space. He peels the bandage off.

"What in the..." the black dude looks in shock as he pulls his glasses down. "Are my eyes not deceiving me?" he takes a closer look at the boiling, bubbling wound. He reaches his hand slowly to the wound, feeling the heat from it. He touches the wound and quickly pulls his hand back as he felt the burn. "AH! SHIT!" cried Nate as he held his hand as he bend forward in pain. He looked at his hand and saw that his fingertips had burn marks on them. He looked at the kitsune's wound as he fanned his hand. "That's some pretty tough shit right there. I think I have a solution for it. Come on, let's go to my lab."

-Sometime Soon...-

In the rough parts of Westside of Mobotropolis was rough. The streets had potholes and were riddled with cracks with busted pipes sticking out, the buildings were boarded up, and there were humans and anthro animals on the streets, either begging or strung out on drugs. Knuckles was driving while swerving dodging potholes and nearly hitting the homeless people on the sidewalks.

Tails was sitting in the backseat, behind Nate, who was in the passenger seat. Tails looked at the various things going on as he rode by. Criminals robbing innocents civilians, homeless folks out in the streets not knowing when their next meal is coming, and the citizens who were strung out on drugs, moving around as if they were zombies. He looks in horror at what he was witnessing.

Tails got angry as he fought through the stabbing headache. "How could the mayor allow this to happen?! This isn't right!" he pounds his hand on his lap. "Why is this happening? Who is responsible for this?!"

Nate looks over his shoulder. "I don't know why the mayor and city council ignore the obvious, young blood." he looks out the window. "It reminds me a lot like Philadelphia. Kensington Avenue to be exact. So many people out in the streets as citizens and cars passes by, but nobody bats an eye. Poor little children having to bare witness to this injustice. Nobody wants to help. Not the police and damn sure not the mayor or any of the politicians. You could die right on the spot and I guarantee that people still going to keep passing by... probably hoping for someone else to step in to do the job. It's as if nobody has the heart to look out for one another. And it feels like that the people who are in the position to do so don't even care." he shakes his head. "I will never understand why the people who are in the position of power never even bother to help the people who are in need. It's just wrong, ya dig?"

"Mm-hm." agreed Tails as he nodded as he tried hard to fight against his headache. He had one eye closed shut and his temples were throbbing nonstop.

"The one's responsible for this city's drug problem is a crimeboss named Ebony Hare."

This caught Tails attention. "Ebony Hare? Well she sounds like trouble."

"He actually. Don't let him hear you say that. Ebony is the leader of a organized crime unit throughout the city and all of the Acorn territory which consists of him, his girlfriend, and his bodyguard. He goes by the name "Downtown" since he started his criminal career at downtown of this very city back in his youngin' days. He spent most of his life being a menace to society. Whether that be, drug dealin', fraud, robbery, and basically every unspeakable crime that's under the sun. He's been at this game for a long time."

Tails clenches his fists. "That's terrible! He should be in jail. Why hasn't anyone stopped him?!"

Nate shrugs. "Your guess is as good as mines. Perhaps he bribes people or maybe he has connections. But I wouldn't recommend trying to take matters into your own hands because that could end badly for you and your family."

"..." Tails looks down at the floor mat of the suv intensely, upset that Ebony Hare can't be stopped and how he couldn't intervene.

"Aye mon. We finna pull up to yo crib." said Knuckles as he pressed the brakes. The red suv stopped in front of an alleyway. They all got out and walked through the alleyway.

"Right here." said Nate as he grabbed the handle of a garage door and lifted it.

Tails, who was holding his head stopped focusing on the pain and his eyes widened at what he saw. 'Holy shish kabob!'

Knuckles eyes widened as well. "Damn that's crunk!"

Nate stepped in the garage and presented what was inside it. "Now y'all two young men. I present to you... my secret laboratory!"

Nate's lab was full of cool of cool things and inventions. Parts of G.U.N. sentry bots were scattered on the floor, shells of old badniks were piled up, along with other cool and never before seen inventions.

"I-I'm impressed!" the kitsune wags his tails as he looked around in the lab. "These inventions you've invented puts my works to shame."

"Oh, it's nothing." Nate laughs. "I don't know how to make fake Chaos Emeralds and all that good stuff." he digs through the pile of his inventions. "Found it!" he pulls out a large ring about the size of a steering wheel, holding it with both of his hands.

Knuckles and Tails looks at the large ring. They've never seen a ring that size. Sure it's not as large as a giant ring, but the size of the ring that Nate held was a first.

He walked towards the yellow kitsune with the ring. "Now. This should take care of your wound for the time being." he gives Tails the ring.

Tails grabs the ring from Nate but almost drops it due to how heavy it is. "Gah!" he lifts it. Th-this thing... weighs quite... a ton!" his arms wobbles as he struggles to hold it.

"Whoa now. Don't drop it. Cuz if you drop it then that's it. Try to absorb it like how you absorb them rings."

"Ok..." Tails absorbs the ring as a bright light flashes.

-RING!-

Tails' eyes were closed shut. "... Is it done?" he opens his eyes and touches his forehead. "It's not hot..." he touches all over his forehead. "Huh! It must be gone!" he feels his head. "I don't even have a headache anymore!"

Knuckles looks at Tails' forehead. "Aw shit! That's wassup! Yo wound ain't all hot like my mixtape!" he takes a closer look. "But you got that red dot like how it looked in the beginning tho'."

Nate buds in. "Like I had said. This will only temporarily calm your wound down for a few days. So in the meantime you should try to go to a doctor and keep this bandage on just in case."

Knuckles crosses his arms as he smiles at the black dude. "And how do you know that this will heal his wound fo' a minute, mon?"

"Because I've tested these rings on people with wounds. Gunshot wounds to be exact. And they all came back to me complaining about the pain coming back."

"Oh. You got another ring?"

"No."

"When will another ring be available."

Nate looks at his calendar and looks back to the red echidna. "I'd say... another month or so. Why?"

Knuckles pulls the M.E. from his back pocket. "Cuz my dawg over here all ate up. See?" he shows Nate the M.E. as it glows bright and dim, like it was doing labored breathing.

Nate looks at the M.E. and rubs his chin then he looks at Knuckles. "This is a gem man. It only works on humans and anthro animals such as y'all two. You sure you don't need a ring to tighten up those loose screws of yours?"

-Downtown Mobotropolis-

Tails and Knuckles were at the city's park, Knothole Park, walking around and talking. Knothole park somewhat resembled New York's Central Park. Tall trees towered over the park as Flickies and other small animals roamed around. A small river surrounded the park with small fish swimming around in it. And it's cobblestone path paved the roads of the park.

"I feel great Knuckles!" Tails jumps in the air. "My wound has calmed down, my headache is gone, and I kissed- oop!" he covered his mouth as he looked at Knuckles with big eyes.

"What was that, mon? Who you kiss?" he asked as he scrolled on his phone as he was texting Julie-Su.

Julie4Evah: Singing wit Mina wuz dope. I didn't know dat her bro can sing.

LilKnux: Datz dope. I need 2 collab wit him.

Julie4Evah: Whatevah. Anyway. I'm gonna spend the night at Sally's house. Don't worry I brought extra clothes with me.

LilKnux: Ight shawty. Don't eat Sally's booty like it's groceries.

Julie4Evah: *Middle finger emoji*

"Um... some girl..." responds Tails as he grabs his tails tight and close to him.

"That's wassup!" he holds his hand to Tails for a high five in which Tails gave him. "So who is she?"

"Um... it doesn't matter..."

"A'ight." responded the red echidna.

"*Cough cough cough*!"

Knuckles and Tails heard coughing. They looked around to see who was coughing until Knuckles felt something in his back pocket. He took the M.E. out of his back pocket and saw that it was rattling as it coughed. The rattling caused Knuckles to drop the M.E. as it feel on the cobblestone ground.

"Aye. M-Dawg, you good?" Knuckles asks as he and Tails raises an eyebrow.

The green gem rattles as it glows bright and dim slowly. Each second that went by it glowed bright and dim faster, eventually, it extremely fast and then... it stopped glowing and rattling and just lied on the ground still.

"Aye... You a'ight?"

The M.E. then rose and hovered above the ground and rotated around rapidly. A bright green light emitted from it, blinding both the red echidna and the yellow kitsune. Then it stopped and stayed above the ground, not moving at all.

"..." Knuckles dug in his pocket and took out a bag of weed and looked at it and tossed it in the trashcan. "A'ight. I ain't smoking that strand no mo'." he slowly reached out to the green gem. "Yo... M-Dawg... you scaring us..."

Gurgling sounds were coming from the M.E. as it started to tremble subtly. As seconds passed the trembling became even more aggressive, and once again it rattled but this time the gurgling noises were getting frequent.

"*Glows* *Gurgle* I'm... gonna... barf... HUAGH!" the M.E. vomited as it opened in half, shooting out green mushy liquid. The vomit was so large that it was bigger then Tails and Knuckles combined together. Both Tails and Knuckles stood there in shock at the sight of the M.E. throwing up.

The M.E. then slowly descended onto the ground as it just lied there, glowing as if it was panting. "*Glows* Oh... thank goodness that it's over..." the M.E. looks at it's guardian and the yellow kitsune as they looked in horror. "*Glows* What? Y'all ain't never seen a timeless object throw up before?" it then looks behind it and sees what they were looking at. "*Glows* Aw snap!" a teardrop slid down it's side, anime style.

What lied in the puddle of green liquid was a orange-peach furred echidna girl. She has cobalt-blue eyes, a peach muzzle, and a small black nose. She got dreadlock-esque spines on the sides and the back of her head that is decorated with white bandages. For clothing, she wore a white tanktop-esque garment that revealed her midriff and a tribal styled skirt with beige, green, and red triangle patterns which her crooked tail stuck out of. She wore a golden necklace and a tiara-like band atop her forehead, both of which were decorated with triangles and a light blue jewel in the center. She wore a golden armlet on her right arm, thick cobalt-blue bracelets with white gloves, and white strapped sandals. Her name is Tikal.

What lied next to her was a blue puddle. Somehow it didn't meshed with the green liquid, it was as if it was like oil and water, it just didn't mixed.

Tails wipes his eyes to make sure what he was seeing wasn't a hallucination. "Is that... Tikal?"

Knuckles took his rastacap off and scratched the top of his head. "Shoot mon. I ain't seen that chick in a hot minute."

Tikal's closed eyelids tightened as she was waking up. "Mmrrmm..." she moaned as she moved her arms a bit. She opens her eyes a bit and slowly sits up. "Oh my..." she wipes her left eye. "That was quite a ride down the whirlpool at-" she looks and sees Knuckles and Tails. "What?! How?!" she points to the two of them. "I'm... back? Into this world?" she looks around at her surroundings.

Tails helps her up. "Hey now. Calm down. It's okay." he reassures. "The Master Emerald threw you up. I don't know why let alone how. But everything is going to be okay."

Tikal looks at the yellow kitsune's blue eyes and she nods. "Ok. Thank you." she looks around for something. "But what about the group of Chaos?"

The puddle then formed into a humanoid form with disproportionally long arms and legs compared to its torso. It has thick forearms with three large fingers on each hand, a short stump for a tail, and long feet with two large toes each. It also has two fin-like protrusions on the back of its head, sharp flaps on each side of its head, and a tall bulge on top of its head. It has two green eyes with a round pink brain with a brain stem attached. This water-like creature name is Chaos.

Chaos shrugs.

Tikal ponders. "Oh. We must've saved the drowning Chaos in time before the whirlpool managed to suck them in. But we happened to get sucked in and here we are."

"So that was how you two got here?" the two-tailed kitsune asked.

Knuckles snickers. "*Snickers*"

Tikal looks at Knuckles. "Why are you laughing?"

Knuckles points at Tikal and Chaos. "Because y'all two are... GEM BARF! BWAHAHAHAHA!"

Tails, Tikal, and Chaos looked at each other and shrugged.

"You know what? That should be the name of my next SoundCloud mixtape!" he types some bars for his rap in his phone.

Tikal walks to Chaos. "Well. I am afraid we must go." she says. "Come Chaos, we must return." she tries to levitate both Chaos and herself off the ground and transcend but it appears that she can't. "?!" she looks around. "I can't do it... not enough power." she picks up the M.E. and tries to use it's power as she closes her eyes. "Oh great Master Emerald. Let us return to the spiritual realm." she opens her eyes. "That doesn't work as well!"

Knuckles puts his arm around her and Chaos. "Well. It looks like y'all stuck here with us now. Welcome to y'all new hood!"

"I am afraid so." she gives Knuckles the M.E.. "Until then..." she looks to Chaos. "it seems that this is our temporary home."

Chaos gives her the "Ok" symbol with his right hand.

Knuckles motions the two of them. "C'mon y'all. Let's go get y'all some drip and crash at my crib." both Tikal and Chaos follows him. Knuckles looks back at Tails. "Aye yo you comin', mon?"

Tails waves Knuckles away as he smiles. "Nah. I'll fly home. But thanks anyway!"

"A'ight G. Keep it locked, mon! Holla at'chu tomorrow!" they walk out the park.

Tails thinks to himself. "It's nice to see Tikal and Chaos back. I haven't seen them in a long time. I'm sure Sonic and the others are going to have a blast seeing them again." the yellow kitsune propels his tails and flies home.

-Later At Night-

Tails dials Sally's number. The phone trilled for a few seconds. Tails waited and waited.

At Sally's mansion, Sally was in her room with Julie-Su as their hair were wrapped around in towels and their faces were covered with green mud masks and cucumbers on their eyes. On the radio in the background the radio was playing a song called "I Wanna Be Down" by Brandy.

Tails was sweating due to what happened between them today. "C'mon... pick up..."

Sally heard her phone ringing. She ran to her phone and saw that it was Tails. She answered. "Hey Miles." she smiled.

Tails cheeks becomes red. "H-hey Sally..."

Awkward silence filled the call until Tails broke it. "Um... about today..."

"Yeah... today..." she responded as she simpered.

"I know that you feel guilty..."

"Yeah..."

"So do I..."

"It's okay."

"But Sonic..." he looks guilty.

"Yeah about him... I plan to break things off with him soon..."

"I understand..."

"But I don't want to feel like a... y'know, a S-L-U-T?"

"You're not one. I feel like I just ruined a relationship..."

"You can't ruin something that's already dead."

"I know but, it wouldn't feel right for you to just break up with Sonic and then you and I date right off the bat. That just feels super weird."

"We can be close friends in the meantime."

"Really?" he asked.

"Yeah. I wouldn't feel right doing that either. We can just be close friends and see where that leads us..." she looks off into space.

"If you say so..."

"What? You don't like that?"

"No I do... but I'm just scared what if my relationship with Sonic turns bad if he finds out what we did... and our feelings for each other."

"... Don't worry. It was my fault I initiated the kiss."

"True..."

"Y'see Miles... I've been having these dreams about us and-"

"DREAMS?!" Tails shouts.

"Oh boy..." Sally flinched at Tails' shouting through the phone.

"Sorry... But, how long have you been having these dreams?"

"A couple of months. Why do you ask?" asks the curious chipmunk.

"I've been having the same dreams for months as well. About us..."

"No...!" she gets hyped. "Do they be romantic?"

Tails gets freaked out by them having the same dreams. "Yep..." he is now sweating bullets. "Um... I have to go now..."

"Ok..." says the disappointed female chipmunk. "Well. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Ok..."

"Love you- oop!" she facepalms. 'Why the hell did I say that?!"

Tails was taken aback by this. "I-I... love you too." he blushes. "Bye..." he hangs up and lies on his bed. "Ok now... Those dreams- they must be a coincidence... There is no way that we are going through similar things!"

Back in Sally's room, the song "BMO" by Ari Lennox was playing.

Sally got off the phone and sat in front of Julie-Su in a Chao beanbag chair. "Julie girl... I need advice..."

Julie-Su was on her phone reading a novel looked up to her friend. "Wassup gurl?" she asks.

"I'm thinking about breaking things off with Sonic..."

"Oh. For like- the umpteenth time?" she joked.

"No..." she shook her head. "This time for good."

"Why? Is it because of the jokes he make about you?"

Sally looked away as she thought for a moment. "Well... a little bit of that."

Julie-Su turned her phone off and placed it down. "C'mon, talk to me gurl."

Sally looks down in shame. "Ya see... I like Tails."

Julie-Su is a bit shocked about this revelation. She covered her mouth with her left hand. "Say what?" she holds Sally's hands. "I thought it was one sided on his end."

Sally blushes. "No. We both like each other... Y'see, when I be with Sonic, I... just don't feel that spark like we use to have. He seems uninterested and all he worries about is Eggman like he's his girlfriend instead of me. But when it comes to Miles, I feel- all kinds of emotions and happiness. It's as if he's like- my soulmate." she cringes in shame and embarrassment.

"Alright now gurl. If you feel that the relationship between you and Sonic is dead, then I say just break things off with him. And as for you and Tails I would try to take things slow. You don't wanna rush in a new relationship already."

"Yeah. You're right. Thanks Julie." she gives the pink female echidna a hug.

"I'll support you on this gurl." she gives Sally a thumbs up.

Sally looks out the window at the half blown moon, staring up the sky as the bright stars twinkle and shines bright.

Meanwhile Tails looks out the window as he stares at the beautiful night sky along with the city skyline and it's breathtaking lights, as he ponders about the future.
