Author's Note: I wrote a chapter so long, that it was over an hours long. So I decided to make it easier on y'all by splitting this chapter into two. Sadly this chapter doesn't feature our two-tailed genius, but no need to worry, the next chapter will feature the star of this story. I will let you know that this chapter features an epic fight scene and one of my favorite character! Until then, good reading my dawgs!

Season 1 Episode 11

Weak

-Welcome to the fanfiction world of Sonic the hedgehog. A world unique and far different from what you know from the SEGA games and official publications. Where we now find ourselves looking over a thunderous grassland...-

-Somewhere In The United Federations-

Thunder crackled and boomed over a large grassland. Dark clouds loomed over the land as strong gusts of wind blew through the tall grass as tall mountains, taller than the clouds could be seen far away. In the background was a large tornado spiraling in one spot, not moving at all. This is Thunder Plains Zone, a area that neighbors both Windy Valley and Stone Stormlands Zone, hence their similarities. A popular tourist attraction, let alone a dangerous one, that is famous for it's thunderous lightning, it's large tornado, and the Wolf Pack, a tribe that lives in a forest not too far from here.

Shadow the hedgehog was seen walking in the thunderous plains while Rouge and Omega were following behind him. Omega carried Rouge with his right hand as she was seen sitting on it with a umbrella over her due to it now raining.

Shadow is a black anthropomorphic hedgehog. He has six quills on his head, four of which curves upwards while the other two curve downward which also has red stripes on them. He has small triangular ears with tan canals, red eyes which compliments his serious gaze he always has on his face. He also has red stripes on the edges of his eyes, a peach muzzle, and a long black nose. He wore a brown poncho cloak that covers his upper body and he wore nothing under it which reveals a white patch of fur on his chest. On his arms, red stripes were also seen along with him wearing white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues along with two gold rings called "Inhibitor Rings" on each of his wrists. He wore red baggy pants which his pointy tail stuck out of, with three rows on straps on each leg. His Air Shoes which like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues along with Inhibitor Rings on each ankle.

After the events of Sonic Heroes and the defeat and "death" of Dr. Eggman last year, Shadow continued his quest to find out about his past while Omega and Rouge accompanied him. Rouge offered to let him stay at her business and gave him a job of being her bouncer and bodyguard right along with Omega.

Rouge is a anthropomorphic bat with white fur, tan skin, teal colored eyes with long eyelashes, and a curvy figure with large breasts that could rival that of Bunnie's. She has large pointy ears with tan canals, a small black nose with a tan muzzle, and her fangs could be seen whenever she opens her mouth. On her back she had a pair of purple wings since she's a bat. On the back of her head she has fur (or hair?) that flares out into six points. She wore powder blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

For attire, Rouge wore a completely new outfit that is a combination of her regular outfit and her other outfit she wore during Sonic Heroes. She wore a dark purple skin-tight bodice-like garment that left a hole for her chest area (or what you would call a 'boob window') which exposed most of her breasts, along with her famous heart-shaped chestplate with a white trim which held her massive breasts. The outfit she wore also had a white belt with a purple and pink heart-shaped buckle around the waist, white gloves with thick pink cuffs, and dark purple boots with cuffs that also has white buckles underneath the cuffs with white soles.

After the events that went down last year, Rouge decided to open up a business called Club Rouge while stealing treasure as a side job. She still do jobs for the government and the President often. But in the meantime, she runs her business and hired Shadow and Omega as her bouncers and bodyguards.

E-123 Omega, better known as Omega is a large and tall robot who's appearance appears to be based on the designs of the E-100 Series, Gamma to be precise. He is a bit shorter than them and he has red eyes instead of green. His upper body and arms appears to be stocky and his shoulders are large with a Greek symbol on the front of his left shoulder and the back of his right shoulder with red handlebars on top of both shoulders. He has one circling pipe around his waist with two flaps attached and has twin jets installed in his back below the hunch. He has a piece of metal from his head to his stomach and he has two hands and five fingers with yellow wrists studded with large spikes like a dog collar. Just below his stripe is a plate of clear material that allows others to see some of his inner workings. He also lacks the twin dots between his eyes and the large light above his waist compared to his previous "brothers".

Now satisfied that he has gotten revenge on his creator. Omega now lives with Rouge and Shadow and goes on odd adventures every now and then. He spends his leisure time at a barren wasteland outside of Central City by testing his weapons out on piles of junk and scrap metal, itching for something to happen so that he can "turn all of his inferior enemies into piles of ashes". Sometimes he just itches to turn Earth into a burning ball of fire just to satisfy his hunger for destruction.

As Shadow is walking he looks back at the bat and robot. "Any signs of that wolf lady or those jackals?"

Rouge looks around the grassland but had difficulty seeing due to the intense rain. "No luck." she looks at Omega "How about you, Omega?"

Omega, as he walks scans the area as he looks left, right, and around while his head rotates a complete 360° degrees. We look through his eyes and see everything in red. He looks around as beeping sound could be heard from him. Omega zooms in at a spot that is covered by trees and it's light red.

"Area ahead at 3 o'clock!" Omega says in his robotic voice as he points in the direction.

"Very well." Shadow activates his Air Shoes and he levitates slightly above ground and takes off as if he's skating.

Omega follows behind as he turns on his thrusters and takes off, making Rouge hang on tight as she nearly drops her umbrella.

Team Dark made it over to the spot that Omega has pointed out. It was a large concrete door with a red frame and the Eggman Empire logo. It was one of Eggman's many bases. It appeared that his base was inside a large cave with green moss on top since his door was built within it.

Shadow looks back at Omega with his arms folded. "Is this the spot?"

"Affirmative." responds the red bulky robot.

Rouge hops off Omega and walks up to the door to observe it. "This must have been one of the doctor's base. The Jackal Squad might've took over after Eggman croaked." she looks around to see if there's anyway to enter it. "I don't see a keypad..." she feels on the hard concrete door. "And it seems to be real sturdy." the busty bat looks at Omega. "You think you can handle this door tough guy?"

Omega gets fired up and clenches his fist. "I, E-123 Omega is the strongest in the world! There is nothing I can't handle!" he pumps his fist high in the air.

"Hmph." Shadow remarks at Omega's claim as he looks back at the robot with folded arms.

Omega's points his fists at the direction of the door as turrets and missile launchers came out. "Step aside." Shadow and Rouge steps far away from the area. "FIRE!" he fires a barrage of ammo at the door as chunks of the door flew. Omega stopped firing as there was nothing left but a cloud of smoke. The smoke cleared up and there was no more door.

Omega spins his upper torso around and flexes as he has muscles. "Objective completed!" he then dabs.

Shadow and Rouge walks past him and looks at the inside of the cave base. A bunch of computers and old hardware along with non-functional Motobugs lying around Team Dark looks around.

"This base looks like it's been abandoned for a while. Possibly before the doctor died." says the black hedgehog.

Rouge looks over to Shadow. "Who knows. There could be something useful here."

Omega places his giant hand on Rouge's tiny shoulder. "Miss Rouge. Permission to annihilate everything in sight?"

The white bat slides his hand off her shoulder and continues to walk. "Not now Omega. Maybe after we scout this base then you can annihilate to your heart's content."

Omega clenches his fist and pulls it down in a yes gesture. "Yes!"

As they looked around, Rouge spotted a holographic computer screen as it was on. "There appears to be something that works in this dump." she walks up to it and sees that it needed a password. Rouge enters a password and the computer activates. The screen pulls up various pages and files of news articles of Eggman's "death".

Shadow walks up to the bat as she reads the articles. "Found anything useful?"

Omega also walks up to the two as he carried a beat-up looking Motobug under his right arm. "I will keep myself occupied with this worthless machine." he punches it, putting a hole in it's side.

Rouge reads through the articles. "End Of An Era: Dr. Ivo Robotnik, A.K.A. Eggman dies in explosion thanks to the efforts of G.U.N., Sonic, and his friends." she continues to read some more. "After the doctor's death, his lackeys have appeared to survive and were found and arrested the following day. But were bailed out by the business mogul Breezie and were pardoned by the president, since he no longer saw the robots as a threat since their creator and leader died." she scrolls down to read some more. "Longtime G.U.N. scientist, Julian Snively claimed to have been a spy and pretended to work for the late doctor only to get information about him and his conquest to take over the world. Seeing the opportunity, Snively contacted G.U.N. commander, Abraham Tower about launching a sneak attack."

Shadow stands beside Omega as the robot continues to beat up the Motobug.

"The doctor was too incompetent to be alive. I should have been the one to annihilate him!" says a frustrated Omega.

Rouge's eyes moves left and right at the computer screen as she gathers more information. "Commander Tower ordered hundreds of G.U.N. battleships at the mad scientist's headquarters. Eggman got wind of the ambush and sent out a few of his battleships that have survived the events when his creation, Metal Sonic (a robotic copy of the world's hero, Sonic the hedgehog) went rogue. The doctor only had a few ships at his dispense and tried to fortify his base, unleashes a war between the United Federation and the Eggman Empire. Sonic and friends heard about the news and joined the battle. Sonic and Shadow the hedgehog (a creation of the late professor, Gerald Robotnik) teamed up to stop the doctor one last time to bring peace to the world and stop his reign of terror."

Shadow remained silent as he let Rouge continue reading.

"As the hedgehogs defeated the doctor, G.U.N. battleships unleashed everything they got at Eggman and his base, leaving a devastating explosion, and therefore ending Robotnik's conquest for world domination and bringing peace to the world." Rouge scrolls down once more, showing a picture of Shadow looking back with his arms folded and Sonic giving a thumbs up in front of the President's White House.

"I remember that." the black hedgehog speaks. "I remember talking to the president, asking him about my memories. And he answered my questions... I just can't remember..." as he stood with his arms folded he looks down to his left as he began to postulate. 'I wonder if I am just a copy of the Ultimate Lifeform. That's probably why I can't remember anything...' Shadow closes his eyes shut as he grimace at the thought of whether he is the real Shadow. He would like to know if he is or not. It's something that has been eating away at him for years and he wants answers. He shakes it off and refocus on the bat as she was still on the computer. 'But would it really matter if I remember anything if I was a copy?'

"Rumor has it that Sonic tried to save the doctor, but was too late to do so." she reaches the end of the article.

"Yes." Shadow says. "He really did tried to save the doctor. But there wasn't time left, so I had to Chaos Control both of us out."

Omega punches the Motobug one more time before it crumbles into pieces. "Blue spikeball is too nice. I would show no mercy to all my foes!"

Rouge closes out the window and looks into the other windows. "Let me see... Wolf Pack leader... that's a hint right there." she looks around at the large holographic screen as she looks into the various windows. "Taking over a empire... Can only male hedgehogs go super...? Wait... what?" her eyes widens. "Rouge the bat... DEEPFAKE PORN?!" her face turns red and she becomes angry. "Now who's the pervert who looked that up?!"

Shadow simply shakes his head while Omega looks at Shadow confused.

"Shadow, why is Miss Rouge angry?"

"You will understand when you're older." he pats the side of Omega's arm.

Then footsteps was heard. Shadow and the rest stopped and looked over at the direction the sound was coming from. Walking out the shadows was a black jackal.

"So. It was the three of you that blew up our door." he looks at the entrance of the base where the door is no more. "We actually had plans to add an infinity logo now that the doctor's dead." he looks at Shadow. "Shadow, the hedgehog?" he asks him.

Shadow and Omega steps in front of Rouge to shield her just in case the jackal would try anything funny.

"Who are you?" Shadow asks.

"The name's Infinite." he says as he gives them a smile, revealing his sharp canines. He looks over to the big tiddy bat. "I apologize that you have to discover something humiliating. One of my squad members was on the computer this morning."

Rouge looks at Infinite with a red face as she was fuming.

Infinite is a anthropomorphic jackal with black fur. He has a white fur pattern on his back that resembles a rib cage, a bushy tail with five white tips, and long, white, stiff dreadlocks. He has a white muzzle and sharp pointy cheek tufts, and a black nose. He has heterochromia, with his right eye being blue and his left eye being yellow. He has a large white scar across his right eye which tells a story of a event that has long passed. He wears a white collar around his neck, a black jean jacket with the word "Jackal Squad" on the back in a graffiti font, black jeans, black gloves with silver designs on the back of them, covering his sharp claws. For footwear he wears pointed, metal and black hi-tops with an infinity symbol engraved on the red soles.

Shadow points at Infinite. "You must be a part of the Jackal Squad! Tell us where the Wolf Pack's leader is and we might let you and your squad go!"

Infinite smirks and snaps his fingers. Coming out of the shadows was three other members while the other two stayed behind in the shadows. The other three walked a female wolf who was covered in chains and shackles with duct tape on her mouth. This wolf lady is Lupe, leader of the Wolf Pack.

Now, let me pause this story and tell you the appearances of Lupe and the other members of the Jackal Squad.

Lupe is a tall, anthropomorphic gray wolf with dark gray hair with white streaks on the side of her mohawk-like hair along with a long ponytail that is braided. She has blue eyes with facial markings underneath them with a wolf-like snout. She wears a blue leotard (that resembles Cammy's from the Street Fighter series) that ties around her neck with a gold ring. She wears gold cuffs on her upper arms and wrists and blue wrap sandals for footwear.

Uno is a anthropomorphic jackal with black fur. He has short white hair that resembles a mullet, yellow eyes, and a white muzzle with sharp pointy cheek tufts and a black nose. He wears a red bandanna around his neck along with a black jean jacket like Infinite's. He wears a brownish yellow utility belt across his shoulder to store his blades. His pants are black cargo pants that allows his sharp tail to stick out from the back. And he wears gloves with metal designs on the back of them along with similar hi-tops to Infinite's with the same design on his gloves that are the same color of his utility belt.

Deux is a anthropomorphic jackal with black fur. He wears a orange beret between his sharp, pointy ears. The fur on his head resembles spikey hair, and he has yellow eyes with a white muzzle with sharp pointy cheek tufts with a black nose. He wears a white bandanna, a long black short sleeved leather trench coat that is open. Underneath the coat shows the bandages all over his body along with his arms that tells us that he's been wounded a long time ago. He wears black leather gloves with metal designs on the back of them, and pants that resembles the ones that Uno wears. His tail sticks out as well with white tips that resembles flame designs. For footwear he wears similar hi-tops to Infinite's with designs on the side of them.

Trois is a anthropomorphic female jackal with black fur. She has white hair with four bangs and a dreadlock-like pontytail that is wrapped with a orange rubberband. She has two long black lashes with yellow eyes, a white muzzle with sharp pointy cheek tufts and a black nose. She wears a green tanktop with black leather gloves with metal designs on the back of them. She wears brown camouflage cargo pants that lets her tail stick out in the back, along with similar hi-tops to Infinite's.

Quatre is a anthropomorphic jackal with black fur. He has white spikey hair that resembles a mohawk and wears a green bandanna around his head. He has dark yellow eyes, different from the other members, a white muzzle with sharp pointy cheek tufts and a black nose. He doesn't wear a shirt which reveals him having a patch of white fur underneath his white bandanna that he wears around his neck. White fur pattern on his back that resembles Infinite's and other white patches of fur on his arms. He wears black leather gloves with a metal design on the back of them similar to Uno's, green camouflage cargo pants that allows his tail to stick out (and his tail resemble's Infinite's), and similar hi-tops to Infinite's. He wields a blade with a green handle that emits a green aura around it.

The last two members, Cinq and Sei were still hiding in the shadows and the only thing you could see from them were their white glowing eyes.

Now, we may resume the story.

"You are correct. I am the leader of the Jackal Squad. A group of mercenaries who hunt for treasures and other odd jobs. We worked for Eggman for a while up until his death, good riddance." he remarked. "Now that he's gone. We can go see his other bases and see if we can find any useful stuff." he looks at Shadow. "So that we can continue where the doctor failed at and take over the world."

"That's not going to happen." Shadow says as he stares the jackal down. "Now. Let her go and we will be on our way."

"Not until those wolves give us their treasure! Then we'll let her go!" Infinite shouts.

"Sorry hun," Rouge says as she flies over Shadow and Omega and lands in front of them two. She puts both hands on her hips and winks at Infinite. "but we gotten a job from the wolf villagers that if we rescue their leader, then they'll pay us some big bucks."

"Now then." Shadow says as he stares Infinite down. "We shall do this easy way..." he stomps forward with his right foot as a faint red aura glows around him. "Or we'll do it the hard way." the aura glows brighter. "I am trying to spare you all."

Omega gets into an isosceles-like stance and weapons emerge from his arms along with his torso opening up and revealing all kinds of weapons. Laser miniguns, missile launchers, canons, and many other weaponry that exists. He turns his head to Rouge. "Miss Rouge. Permission to fire? I want to destroy these inferior meatbags along with the doctor's base."

Rouge, still looking at the Infinite and his squad places her left arm in front of Omega. "Hold it. Not right now. We have to get the wolf lady out safely first."

"Well hurry it up. I cannot stand not blowing things up." says the walking arsenal.

"*Muffled Screaming*!" the muffled screams of Lupe could be heard as she fears that she may be decimated along with the Jackal Squad.

Shadow looks back at Omega. "Omega, hold your fire!" he looks back to the jackal leader. "End this now!"

Quatre looks to Infinite. "Hey! Infinite! Give us the sign to attack!"

"I'm warning you! Don't do it!" Shadow shouts as his aura grows bigger.

"Not until those pathetic wolves gives us all their treasures!" shouts Deux.

"Their treasures isn't yours!" Shadow objects. "What right does it give you to steal things from innocent people?" Shadow reminiscence the events of Sonic Adventure 2. "I've been there. I have stolen an emerald from a bank, got that blue hedgehog framed, and nearly gotten everyone on this planet killed." a view shows Shadow's face as a image of a blonde haired girl smiling. 'I have to do it... for her...' Shadow looks at Infinite with a ounce of sympathy. "Please. You don't have to do this. There has to be a better-"

Omega shoots a net that is tethered with a string at Lupe and successfully snags her from the Jackal Squad. He pulls her towards them and grabs her with his right hand. Everyone stops and looks at him in shock.

"There. I did it. You squishies talk to much." he turns his head to Shadow. "Shadow. You have gotten too soft. That is a sign of weakness."

Rouge facepalms.

Shadow looks at Omega in disbelief with wide eyes. "OMEGA! Why did you do that?! I was trying to be peaceful with it!"

Veins pops up on Infinite's head as red veins shows in his eyes. "YOU SNEAKY LITTLE-" he points at Team Dark. "GET THEM! AND KILL 'EM ALL!" Infinite and the Jackal Squad charges at them.

The camera shows a close-up of Shadow's face while Rouge, Omega, and Lupe, who was still in the net in Omega's hand as they stood behind him. "Thanks Omega." he charges towards Infinite and his squad.

"Is that a good thing, or an error?" asks the confused robot.

Shadow looks back at them. "You three. Go! I'll hold them off for as long as I can!"

"Roger that!" Rouge responds as she grabs Lupe from Omega and flies off. "Let's go Omega!"

Omega stands behind and look at Shadow fighting Infinite and his squad. "Negative. I want to annihilate these worthless squishies."

Rouge looks back as she struggles to carry Lupe with the net. "Omega, let's go, NOW! That's an order!"

The camera zooms in on Omega's red eyes and then shows the fight as Shadow dodges the blades of the Jackal Squad and throws a Chaos Spear at Sei from the shadows. He then dodges a blade from Deux and kicks him in the chest. The camera then shows Omega's emotionless red eyes again. "Sigh..." he says. He then begrudgingly turns around and activates his jet thrusters and follows Rouge. "Yes ma'am..."

As Rouge flies out the entrance with Omega behind, Omega turns around shoots out a missile from his arm.

"Heads up Shadow!" Omega shouts as he continues to follow Rouge. Shadow looks back and dodges it while the Jackal Squad jumps away for cover.

"OMEGA!" shouts the busty bat.

"Apologies. I had to get it out of my system, no pun intended." replies Omega as he flies out the cave.

-At The Wolf Village-

Music: [The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Faron Woods]

Deep in a forest was a village. It was covered with tall trees and green leaves as the rain water trickles on the leaves and slides off. The village was made up of wooden huts and wolf people. A little area had a little shopping section that had consisted of fruit stands ranging from apples, oranges, mangoes, carrots, and so on. Along with a butcher shop. In the center of the village was a campfire and a trail that leads up to a big hut, which is Lupe's. The village is nice and peaceful with a river streaming not to far away from it where the villagers often go fishing.

The Wolf Pack lives here. Despite being wolves, they are actually a peaceful tribe who have been pacifists for generations. Lupe is their leader, taking the place of her father after he died from an illness. Lupe is a well respected figure and leader of the tribe. Doing all that she can to keep her tribe safe, and to lead them into a better direction.

Minutes later, Rouge and Omega successfully retrieved Lupe. All of the wolf villagers surrounded them and Lupe in a circle at the center of the village as she sat on a log with a rug over her shoulders.

"MOM!" shouted two female teenage twin wolves in unison as they ran and hugged on her. Both of their names were Leeta and Lyco.

Leeta is a pink wolf with blue eyes and light purple hair that is styled in thick dreadlocks that goes down to her back and is adorned with a light green hairband. She wears a light green leotard similar to Lupe's with a gold band around her waist. She also wears various gold bands on her arms and brown sandals. Her sister Lyco is completely identical to her as in looks and height, with the only difference is that she wears a blue hairband and leotard with gold sandals.

Tears came out of both twins eyes.

"We thought we lost you..." Leeta says.

"We were worried sick." Lyco says.

Lupe closes her eyes and nuzzles her head on both twins one at a time. "I missed you two as well." she smiles at the sobbing twins. "I am so proud of you two..." she looks around at the surrounding villagers. "... actually, all of you. You have done what I've told you to do. To not give up our generational treasure, the Black Onyx."

A large black emerald resembling the Master Emerald was seen between a group of villagers. The villagers who stood near the Black Onyx looked at it and quickly stepped in front of it as they smiled nervously.

Lupe already saw the ancient artifact, so therefore, Lupe's order of not giving up the artifact may have been proven futile. "... Or maybe not..." she says as she sighs.

Leeta and Lyco both get on their knees and grabs Lupe's foot as they sob as tears shoots out their eyes like a fountain.

"WE'RE SORRY!" they say in unison.

Leeto sniffs. "*Sniff* We thought that if we wouldn't have given up the treasure, they would kill you!"

"And we know the pack rules about how we can't fight since we're pacifists. *Sniff sniff* S-so we couldn't just storm in and beat the jackals up!"

The pink twins continues to sob profusely.

Lupe smiles at her two daughters. "It's okay.' as she smiles, tears roll down her muzzle. 'Words cannot describe how proud I am of you two...'

Omega and Rouge stood there as they look at Lupe and her two daughters. "Miss Rouge. Why are the furballs crying? I am unable to identify joy or sadness."

"You will understand when you're older." Rouge responds as she pats the side of his arm.

Lupe wipes the tears from her eyes and looks over to the white bat and large red killing machine. "My apologies. Allow me to hand you the reward." she looks over to a specific villager and claps her hands twice. "Give them the reward!" she commands.

A fellow brown anthropomorphic female wolf with a black hairstyle quite similar to Lupe's, wearing a yellow leotard similar to her and her daughters with brown sandals walks up to Rouge and Omega with a red pillow with a white diamond on top. She kneels down in front of them, presenting the gem.

Rouge's eyes sparkle at it with tears of joy as she gushes at it. "Oh my! This is so pretty!" she takes it and nuzzles her face on it. "THANKYOUSOMUCHOHMYGOD! *Squeals*!"

The camera slightly pans right at Omega as he stands a few feet away from the female wolves and Rouge. He looks at you viewers as a tear drop slides down his face, anime style.

[Music Stops]

-At the "Jackals Base"-

Meanwhile, Shadow has been beaten up badly as bruises and scrapes appear on him. He winces and falls on one knee as he closes his left in pain as he looks up at Infinite who is holding his sword towards his face. How could the Ultimate Lifeform be so weak, you may ask? Simple. After the events of Sonic Heroes and last year along his memory loss (and his dilemma of figuring out if he's the real Shadow or not), Rouge has been teaching Shadow on how to be more laid-back. It also helped that he's been having visions and dreams of a blonde haired girl, named Maria. In his visions and dreams, she always encourages him to be kind and to do the right thing. He doesn't remember who she is but she feels so familiar at the same time.

'Promise me Shadow... that you will be who you were destined to be...' her voice echoed in his head. 'a hero... that's why you were created. To bring hope to humanity...'

Infinite smiles as his sharp fangs shows. "Heh... looks like the Ultimate Lifeform has gotten soft. How sad!" he kicks Shadow in the face, knocking him on his back.

"Tch..." Shadow holds his face as his aura glows into a darker shade of red. 'I must... hold back...' he looks at Infinite as his eyes trembles in anger. 'I have to show mercy... I have to end things peacefully...'

Trois gives a smirk as she places her hands on her hips. "Don't hurt 'im!" she taunts at Shadow as the other members laughs.

Infinite walks up to Shadow as he sharpens his blade. "Your kindness has gotten in the way of you." he looks at the wounded black hedgehog and points his blade once again to him. "After I kill you, I will kill the villagers..."

Veins pops up around Shadow's head as he tries to control himself. He can already see the vision of Lupe and the villagers being slaughtered. The mothers and children screaming and begging Infinite and the Jackal Squad for mercy. "Pl-PLEASE!" he bows in front of the black jackal. "PEACE- LET'S P-PEACEFULLY- END THIS!" he shouts as spits comes out his mouth from his irrational thinking. He is trying so hard to not destroy these jackals.

Infinite kicks him again, making the black hedgehog fly over a few feet and lands on his left side. He struggles to get up as he holds his left side in pain. The black hedgehog bows and pleads once again. Infinite's gives out a wicked smile as his pupils become smaller. "AND AFTER I KILL THEM I'M KILLING YOUR FRIENDS AS WELL FOR GETTING IN OUR WAY! THEN YOU ALL CAN BE IN HELL TOGETHER!"

Shadow as he bows, eyes opens and he just stares for a few seconds. A black and white vision shows the blonde haired girl being shot in the back as a bullet escapes from her heart. Shadow becomes angry and stands up as his aura explodes out of control.

Infinite and his squad stops laughing. "What the?" he steps back as he looks in terror.

They look to see Shadow standing there with his eyes white, with his fur all red along with his aura being a darker shade. This is his awakening of Dark Shadow. A form that awakens once Shadow reaches his limit and his thoughts are filled with rage and vengeance.

Trois looks at Infinite and points at Shadow. "YOU SHOULD'VE KILLED HIM WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE!"

"Shit!" Inifnite panics. He looks over to the female jackal. "Shut up! I was only testing him to get a chance to fight him at his full power!" he prepares himself. "Jackal Squad... CHARGE!" him and the rest charges towards Shadow as he stood there.

Quatre was the first to get near Shadow as he's about to slice him. "I call dibs!" Shadow grabs his wrist and spins around and throws him at Trois, firing a beam of energy, badly injuring them.

Infinite stops dead in his tracks and looks back at his barely conscious teammates. "Tch! You have some nerve!" he sees Uno throwing daggers at Shadow, but they seem to not be affecting the hedgehog at all. Shadow throws a red Chaos Spear at Uno's chest, piercing his heart and mortally wounding him. Infinite looks at his fallen teammates. "NO! H-HANG IN THERE PARTNER! YOU CAN MAKE IT!"

Deux launches at Shadow from behind, trying to get a clear hit at him. Shadow warps away. "The hell...?" before he could comprehend, Shadow warps behind him and kicks him dead at his spine, paralyzing him as he falls smack into the floor, hard.

The shadowy twins, Cinq and Sei appear from the floor with their shadowy powers and tries to pull Shadow underground. Shadow without hesitation fired beams at both twins, piercing them and all that was left was a trail of smoke that was once them.

Infinite was the only one standing. He looked at Shadow out of anger and fear as he stepped back after he saw what the hedgehog was capable of. "No!" he shouts. "Not like this! NOT LIKE THIS GOD DAMMIT!" he lunges at Shadow with his red sword and slashes through the red hedgehog... but it had no affect, his sword broke in half.

Infinite falls on his bottom and looks up at him, terrified as he crawls backwards. "Y-you monster... YOU INJURED AND KILLED MY FRIENDS! THE ONLY FAMILY I HAD!" he berates the hedgehog. "IF YOU AND YOUR BASTARD FRIENDS MINDED YOUR DAMN BUSINESS THIS WOULD'VE BEEN EASY FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED!" he pounds the metal tiles. "DAMMIT!" he looks up at Shadow as the hedgehog looks down at him.

With his intense aura, Shadow looks at the jackal. "...Weak..." the ground trembles as he levitates above the ground. Shadow enters a fetal position as his aura becomes smaller and turns into a ball of energy surrounding him. "Chaos..." he then uncurls and lets it out. "...BLAST!" his energy expands and explodes, destroying everyone and everything within miles.

[Music Stops]

-Back At The Wolf Village-

As Rouge adores on the gem much to Omega's unamusement, Lupe notices something.

"Excuse me. If I didn't know any better, wasn't that black hedgehog with the two of you?"

Rouge stops hugging on the emerald and notices that Shadow wasn't there. "Oh him?" she lets out a chuckle. "He's probably talking it out with those Jackals, trying to figure out a peaceful solution like I've taught him. It'll be fine." she does a hand wave gesture.

From between the trees, a large explosion miles away could be heard and seen. Rouge stands stiff and her eyes gets wide at the sound. She turns around and looks at the large explosion and looks back at Lupe with a nervous smile. "On second thought... I think they might've angered him." Rouge hands the female wolf her business card. "If you ever need any help again, here's my card. Bye!" she flies away. "C'mon Omega, let's go!"

Omega waves at Lupe and the villagers. "Goodbye fuzzy dog people. I will remember not to destroy you and your village when I turn the Earth into a flaming ball of fire!" he activates his thrusters and takes off and follows Rouge.

The base was reduced to nothing but rubble. Everything that was once there was no more. Piles of rocks is what it had became, along with the ashes of the Jackal Squad. Shadow climbed out of the rubble, unscathed since he heals fast, can't say the same for his clothes since they were badly damaged.

Shadow stood on top of the rocks and looked down behind him at the devastation that he had caused. 'All those stoicism classes that Rouge has taken me to has been thrown out the window...' he shakes his head. 'I appeared weak and nearly got myself and everyone else killed. They were going to slaughter the villagers- even the innocent babies, all because of my carelessness. I'm doing things my way from now on.'

As he looks up, he sees Rouge and Omega heading his direction. The big chested bat and the walking arsenal lands in front of the black hedgehog.

Rouge looks at Shadow. "Shadow, what happened?" she asks.

Shadow crosses his arms as he looks down and shakes his head with his eyes closed. "They were going to kill us all if I hadn't fought back."

Omega looks at the rubble. "Did you cause this glorious destruction?" he looks over to Shadow as he closed his eyes and nods. Omega felt left out and sad that he was unable to participate in destroying Infinite and his squad like he wanted to. So Omega walked off and sat at the edge of the pile of rubble, pouting (as if he showed any emotions) as a black swirl swirled around his head, anime style.

Rouge touches Shadow on his right arm as she looks at him with concern. "Shadow... are you...?"

Shadow removes her hand and walks past her with his eyes closed. "I'm fine." he says as he opens his eyes. "There's no need to worry."

As they stood in the rain, the three noticed something flying in the sky, it was a large ship with the Eggman Empire logo on the side of it. Shadow, Rouge, and Omega looked in shock.

"This isn't possible!" Rouge looks at the flying ship.

"I saw him die in that explosion!" Shadow's eyes trembles in shock.

"It should have been I, E-123 Omega, to destroy Eggman. I would have made sure he was terminated! Therefore my mission of destroying Eggman now resumes." says Omega as rotates his right hand.

The ship was flying at a fast pace. Shadow activates his Air Shoes and motions the two. "Let's get moving!" he says as he takes off as the two follows behind him. "We must see if that really is the doctor."

At the rubble, rocks were moving and a black, injured hand rises out of the rubble. It was Infinite's, the only survivor of Shadow's wrath. His body was burnt with scars and welts and his whole face was burnt as well. He looks down as he bends forward staring at his damaged hands.

"That bastard... he killed my family- my squad..." his hands trembles. "And he called me weak..." he looks up as the rain pours heavily and he shouts, "I'M NOT WEAK!"
