Author's Note: No. I am not dead. I spent a lot of time reading other books and studying other writer's to improve my own. I want to do better with describing things and make my dialogue and the characters better and believable. Also didn't help that I had to get my teeth yanked out at the dentist (RIP Tooth LMAO!) and recover for a few days. But anyway, more about this story and it's characters and world. That's all for the ages for majority of the characters. There is only one world in this story (aside from countless alien planets and colonies out there in space) so no to that "two worlds" thing (Thank God it got retconned in that Tails Tube video). The current year for this story is 2004. Shocking I know. They might have advanced technology such as holograms, smartphones, social media and all that jazz. But this is a alternate 2004, completely different from ours since this world has like talking anthropomorphic animals, floating rings and so on. I know in earlier chapters I said that most of the games up to Sonic Heroes have taken place. So I guess I can show you the timeline for this universe:
Timeline: Sonic 1, Sonic CD, Tails Adventure, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Triple Trouble, Knuckles Chaotix, Tails' Skypatrol, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic R, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Shuffle, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, and Sonic Heroes.
Most of the timeline don't make sense but don't think too hard on it LOL! My goals for season 1 is to adapt Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3. It ain't gonna be faithfully adapted. But I might dedicate a few episodes to it. We shall see! There are a little bit of ecchiness in this chapter, but not creepy like with Fiona in chapter 6 (I regret writing that part since it came off as rapey. I was trying to pick at the bad fanfiction lemons I used to read but it came out wrong LOL!) more like comedic and cliche.
This chapter will explain a little bit about Tails' wound as I'm still trying to figure that part out. But enough of talking, let's get to the story! Anyways, I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. Good reading my dawgs!

Season 1 Episode 14
Our Guardian Angel, Chaos
-Welcome to the fanfiction world of Sonic the hedgehog. A world unique and far different from what you know from the SEGA games and official publications. Where our focus is on a two-tailed fox named Miles "Tails" Prower.-
-The Next Day-
-Eggman's Base; The Islands Of Mobotropolis-
Eggman walks into his lab as the automatic glass sliding doors opened. He walks up to both Emerl and Metal Sonic as they stood in front of each other.
Eggman held a blue Chaos Emerald as he was talking to himself. "Ok, according to my grandfather's notes. Emerl operates on Chaos Emeralds and other similar power sources. Maybe this will work." he walks up to Emerl.
"..." Emerl stands there and observes the Chaos Emerald and holds both of his hands out for the gem.
"Now. I place it in his hands and he should absorb it." he places the emerald in the robot's hands.
"..." Emerl looks down at the Chaos Emerald and it glows bright, filling the whole lab in a blinding white light.
The rotund doctor shields his eyes. "Gah! My eyes!" cried the doctor. A few seconds later the bright light died down and everything was back to normal. Emerl makes a few beep boop noises that catches the doctor's attention. "Hmm?" he looks and see that the Chaos Emerald is gone. "Ah! It must have worked!"
Eggman stands behind Emerl as he bends over and rubs his shoulders. "Now Emerl. Now that your batteries are charged. I want to see you fight and see if you're able to beat Sonic!" he points to Metal Sonic that is standing across from them. "Now, go fight him!"
"..." Emerl continues to stand there.
"Grr...!" Eggman gets frustrated and steps in front of the ancient robot. "Come on! Fight him!" he points to Metal Sonic behind him."
"..." no reaction from Emerl whatsoever.
The mad doctor gets frustrated. "Fight! Why don't you fight?!"
*Punch!* Eggman hits Emerl to try to get him to budge.
"... ... ... ... ... ..." Emerl doesn't budge.
Eggman's face gets red as he begins to seethe. "Dang! You piece of junk! Give me back the Chaos Emerald you took!" he holds his hand out at Emerl. Still nothing. Eggman trembles in anger. "Grrr...! What a piece of junk!"
*Wham! Bam!* he hits Emerl twice.
"... ... ..."
Eggman walks away out of frustration, but he stops and turns around to the robot. "That's it! I've already used your data to create a robot that does what I say. So I don't need you anymore!" he snaps his fingers. "Metal! Toss him out to sea!" he storms out the lab.
Metal does as Eggman commanded and picks up Emerl.
Eggette is walking down the long hall as she's drinking a chocolate milkshake. She sees Eggman storming through the hall. "So dad! How's the robot going?"
Eggman storms past her. "Bad! That useless piece of junk is about to be swimming with the fishes now!"
The bushy haired girl drops her milkshake. "What?! Why?! I wanted a new friend! Metal's all boring and doesn't even talk much!"
Eggman stops and looks back at his daughter. "Piece of junk wouldn't even listen to my commands, even after I gave it a Chaos Emerald!" he raises his index finger. "But don't fret. I've used it's data to create a robot identical to it. ONE that will listen to me!" he marches off with a big grin on his face. "And one that won't try to overthrow me like how Metal did a few years back!"
Metal Sonic is shown carrying Emerl bridal style as he walks past Eggette.
Eggman stopped in his tracks. "Oh! I have an idea! Since you wanted a new friend, here you go!" he tosses Tails Doll at her. "I have no use for it anymore. I happened to find it when that fox and his thieving friends were smashing Emerl." he marches away. "Have fun!"
The doll landed in front of her feet and it's black soulless eyes stared at her.
"..." Eggette cocks her head as she stares at it. She picks it up. "You look funny. There's something about you..." she looks into it's eyes for a few seconds. "I know! You can be my sidekick! Both of us can destroy my dad and then we'll destroy his nemesis, then we'll take over the world!" she skips away as the doll and it's limbs flails around.
Nearby, the front doors of the base opens and Metal Sonic walks out as he still carries the mustard yellow robot. He eventually stops at a tall cliff that towers above the blue ocean as the camera zooms out to show how big and far the drop will be. Metal looks at the ancient robot and sees it as it lifelessly stare up at the blue sky. The blue robot stares at Emerl and a red virtual tear slides under his visor. He laments at the discardment of Emerl and their possible partnership.
Is it right to simply discard Emerl, an ancient robot with limitless potential at that? Oh how the doctor simply doesn't care since the robot didn't wanted to fight or listen to his master. Despite Eggman reprogramming Metal with a limited AI, he still somehow and somewhat was able to have free will. To a certain extent. It might not be strong like it was before the events of Heroes, but he still manage to have a little bit of freedom.
Metal simply caress the face of his potential "brother" and stares one more time. His eyes turns into rectangle bars, mimicking closed eyes as he turns his away and drops Emerl from the tall cliff. Emerl falls from great heights and splashes into the salty ocean... to never be seen again. Metal looks down at the ocean and feels bad about the potential him and Emerl could've had. Emerl could've been Eggman's answer to Metal Sonic having a sidekick. Tails Doll is too... plushy and Eggman never bothered to make a robotic duplicate of our yellow kitsune. It might've been pure laziness on the doctor's part or he just never thought about making one.
Metal Sonic turns around and walks back to the base, reluctant to return to his creator and master. He enters the base and the door closes as the camera slowly zooms and pans out away from the base. Showing Eggman's fortress and the island he took over overnight.
Meanwhile... the scene shows the ocean currents crashing against the cliffs of the island...
-Downtown Mobotropolis; The Mayor's Office-
Maximilian Acorn, the mayor of Mobotropolis is sitting in his desk as he thinks about the video of Eggman announcing his return. He bury his face into his hands for a couple of seconds, then he slams his fists on his desk.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" he shouted out of frustration. "Sonic and his friends, with the assistance of G.U.N. had destroyed Ivo! How could he still be kicking!"
Maximillian Acorn (or Max for short) is a brown squirrel who is in his 50s. He has white hair, white bushy eyebrows, blue eyes, and a white mustache. He looks exactly like his children, with the only difference is his bushy squirrel tail (Which makes Sally, Elias, and Tuftee squirrel/chipmunk hybrids. But for simplicity's sake they will be called chipmunks since they share more of Alicia's features... even though they all look the same LMAO!). He wears a grey suit with a blue tie with a white button-up shirt underneath along with matching grey pants and black dress shoes with small gold buckles on the side.
Maximillian Acorn comes from a long line royalty and politicians of the Acorn Royal Family. So the whole rich lifestyle and politics is nothing new to him or his brother, Nigel Acorn who is the king of the Acorn Republic (or the Acorn Territory). Maximillian used to be the king, and did it for all his life. But he passed the torch to his brother, rather to lead in a smaller scale by becoming a mayor in a nearby city than having the country on his shoulders. Nigel has been ruler for over 2 decades and is arguably a better king than his brother but nonetheless. him and Max does everything they can for their country and people.
"MEGAN! COME HERE! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.
The door barged open as a female squirrel with brown hair, a purple suit and skirt, with matching purple heels ran inside. "IS SOMETHING WRONG MAYOR?!"
"YES!" he shouted. "Robotnik is back and I need to call the president of the United Federations! ASAP!"
The young female squirrel pulled out her tablet as she sweats. "Yes sir." she taps the screen a couple of times. A small hole opens from the ceiling as a projector camera slides down.
In Central City at the White House, the president's telephone rings. He presses a button as it projects a hologram.
Back to Max and Meg, a hologram projects as it shows a white man with brown hair wearing a blue suit, with a white shirt underneath along with a red tie with white dots.
"Max? I assume that you saw the broadcast as well?" asks the president.
"Indeed." he nods. "Why is he still alive?! I thought G.U.N. killed him! How can someone survive... THAT?!"
The president thinks. "I do not know myself. But the doctor is a smart man. With his genius he can get himself out of any sticky situation. ... If only he stayed with us at G.U.N. ..."
"And if only me and my brother never trusted him and Walter... none of this would happen." the old squirrel clenches his fist and grits his teeth.
"That was the past. But we can make the future better." says the president.
"Here-here." says Max. "But he set up base off the coast of my city and over at the islands. Worst of all, he's trying to become a principal of a school where my daughter goes to! I can't pull her out because Mobotropolis High is the best school in the country!"
"Mobotropolis High is the Harvard of Acorn Republic, but the high school version." the mayor joked.
"And I refuse to hire a private tutor! What if they molest her or worse?!" he grabs his hair and manages to pull some out. "We have a small military that isn't as great as G.U.N.
The president thinks. "Well... I can send out a team there just in case Robotnik might try something funny."
"Very well. I will let Nigel know about the team."
"Ok. Hang tight. They'll be on their way."
The call ends as the mayor rubs his temples.
"Megan, call my brother."
-Central City; United Federations-
The President presses another button on his telephone and the phone trills.
*Phone Trill Sound*
"Yes Mr. President?" a female voice said.
The president held a button down and spoke into the speaker. "I need to speak with the commander of the Paladin Team Sigma-Alpha 2." 'I think I said it right.'
"Right away Mr. President. I will get you in touch with them shortly."
"Oh! One more thing. I need to request a flight to Japan as well." 'I can't miss my game of golf with the Chief Private Secretary of Japan.' "It's... an important meeting."
"Yes sir." she says. She gets off the line and the trills once more.
*Phone Trill Sounds*
Over at the G.U.N. base, a tall African-American man with huge muscles who wore a green camo military outfit along with a mohawk is seen doing push-ups in front of his desk. He resembles Mr. T and he was doing 10,000 push-ups out of 50,000.
"10,001... 10,002..." sweat rolls down his head and his as he exercised. The phone on his desk rings. "10,007... 10,008-" he stops what he's doing and gets up and walks to his desk. "*Huff* This is Commander Hugo Brass speaking."
"Hello Hugo, this is the president speaking."
Hugo wipes the sweat from his forehead. "Mr. President!" he smiles. "How may I serve you?"
"I'm sure you heard of the return of Ivo Robotnik?"
Hugo smile turns into a angry gaze as the veins around his head pumps. "Yes. I've heard that he survived from last night's broadcast." he starts to lift weights with his left hand. "Is there anything you want us to do?"
"I want you and your team to head out to the Acorn Republic and keep an eye on Robotnik. If he tries anything funny. I give you permission to do what you have to do."
Hugo liked the sound of that as he wants nothing but to blow Eggman's brains out and probably even eat them as well.
The president continues to speak. "I want him alive..." Hugo frowns. "But... if he gets all feisty with you and your men or if he harms anyone, then I give you full permission to go all out on him."
Hugo looks at you viewers with a sadistic smile as he drools. "Ooh... I hope the second option doesn't happen..." he laughs.
"You and I both know you enjoy the latter option. But hopefully it doesn't happen."
Hugo snaps out of his blood lust. "Indeed. We'll be over there as soon as we can sir."
"Thank you. Good luck with your mission. And continue to fight the good fight." the president hangs up.
Hugo walks out his office and into another room where the Sigma-Alpha 2 team was in.
"Men. Pack your bags. We're heading to Acorn Republic. The president assigned us a mission to keep an eye out on the doctor." the camera zooms in on his face and you can see his bloodshot eyes and evil grin as he drools. "And I pray that we can end Robotnik's life once and for all. He should've died in that explosion cuz, when I get to him, it's going to get ugly. I pity the fool..." the scene goes black.
-The Prower's Residence-
"What?! How?! WHY?!" cried a certain two-tailed kitsune.
Tails feet is shown standing on the tiles of his bathroom floor.
The scene then shows Tails standing in front of his sink and mirror as he looks up at his forehead which the wound returned but now it was between a bunch of horns sticking out. Two large horns sticking out of Tails' forehead with one being smaller than Tails' hand while the other was as nearly big as his head. Four stuck out at the back of his head that was the same girth of his arms. The horns most likely grew overnight while was sleeping.
'This is worse than the last one.' Tails said as he tried to touch it. The big horn jerked up a bit and throbbed a few times as Tails touched it. "Ah..." Tails groans in pain as he closes one eye. "So sore..." it felt like as if it had a burning sensation to it as well.
Chaos opens the door and walks in with a HUSTLER magazine in his hand as he wears a plain white shirt with plaid pajama bottoms. Tails looks as Chaos gave him a peace sign. He stops and look at Tails, seeing the odd horns on his head. He looks at the yellow kitsune in the eye and points to his own head.
"?" Chaos' brain becomes a question mark.
"I don't know what it is. I can't ask my uncle since he's busy researching in his room. And trust me, just like my dad, once he gets into something, it'll be hard to get his attention."
Chaos gives Tails a thumbs up and pulls down his pajama bottoms as he sits on the toilet and opens the magazine. Seeing all the women in lingerie, skimpy bikinis, and even nude. Chaos blushes as his whole face and body turns red as he melts, causing him to fall through the toilet bowl with only his head, arms, and legs sticking out. With his feet being in the same position as if he was sitting regularly.
Tails looks at the aquatic monster as he raises an eyebrow. "Weird." he continues to focus on these weird horns. "But not as weird as these horns on my head..."
He touched the big horn again as it jerked up and throbbed to his touch. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Cries Tails as he manages to push it down into his head. "I think I got rid of it."
*Sproing!*
The horn pops up. "Damn!" cried the frustrated kitsune. "Ok. Now, let me just..." he grabs a couple of bandages and pushes them down much to his pain. A few attempts later and he manages to get all of the horn-like things to be pushed down, now sporting some bandages wrapped around his head while his three bangs stick out.
Later on Tails is eating breakfast with Tikal and Chaos at the kitchen table. They were eating sunny-side up eggs along with bacon and grits.
Chaos slid the food inside his body as it dissolved into nothing. Tails was eating as he was thinking about the situation about his head and the odd things that were coming out of it lately. While Tikal was simply gobbling all her food like a turkey.
*Intense Chewing Sounds, Slurping And Gulping*
Tails and Chaos looked at Tikal with wide eyes at how sloppy she was eating.
Tikal, vigorously eating her breakfast showed no mercy to it. She finished eating and licked the food off her gloves as she raised her clean plate in the air. "MORE PLEASE!" she told Mrs. Prower.
The mature female vixen laughed with closed eyes. "Ha ha ha! Oh my. You are quite the foodie." she takes her plate to the kitchen. Seconds later she comes back with a large stack of eggs, bacon, and a large pile of grits. "This is your sixth time Tikal. Think this should be your last one until dinner?" she closes her eyes as she laughs while a tear drop slides down her face, anime style.
Tikal stares intensely at her plate as she salivates like a wild animal. "Your cooking is TOO GOOD! No one besides my grandmother cooked THIS GOOD! The cooking in this time period is better than my time!" she stuffs her face into the plate as she eats like she didn't ate in weeks. Pieces of eggs and bacon flew everywhere. A piece of egg landed on Chaos' empty plate. Chaos looked at it and was about to grab it and eat it until Tikal slapped his hand making him flinch and dropping it.
"!" Chaos leaned away from the ferocious eating female echidna as he became scared of her for that short moment.
"*Growls*" she growled like a wolf as her face srunches up and she drooled as her saliva dripped onto the wooden table. "Eat... yooooouuuuur own... fooooood..." she said in a primitive way. She snatched the egg from Chaos' plate and ate the piece as she continued to eat on her own plate.
Tikal's barbaric nature while eating scared even T-Pup away as he was hiding behind Tails' chair trembling in fear.
-In The Garage-
Tails is seen working on his Tornado. Screwing a few bolts in the engine. He finally managed to finish modding it and he plans to test it out in a few hours.
Tikal and Chaos stood by the sidelines as they watched the two-tailed kitsune work on the aircraft.
"Your mother's cooking is the best I've ever had." says Tikal as she closed her eyes, licking her lips. "If only grandmother was around to cook alongside her. The both of them would've made delightful dishes." she looks away as a tear drop slides down the side of her head, anime style as she rubs under her nose. "... Sorry about the way I was eating. I kinda lost sense when I ate food so good." she gives out an awkward laugh.
Tails tried to multitask between working on his plane and conversating with Tikal. "Eh. It's fine." he responds as he is more focused on the Tornado. "Mom's cooking is great." he continues to screw more bolts.
Chaos looks at the aircraft as he recognizes it during the events of Sonic Adventure 1.
Tails tightens a bolt. "Ok... aaaand that should do it." Tails closes the lid on the biplane. "Now..." he walks around to the left side of the Tornado as he dusts his hands off. He hops in the pilot seat. "I hope this is an improvement..." he clicks some levers and pushes a few buttons.
*VRRRRRRR...* the sound of the Tornado's thrusters boots up as it blows wind around the garage.
Tikal and Chaos looks at the Tornado with sparkles in their eyes. "Ooh! So cool!" says the female echidna as her dreads moves along the strong gusts of wind. Back in her time, she never seen anything like this.
The kitsune turns his attention to them. "I'm going to take her for a spin around the skies for a few laps. Y'all wanna hop in?"
"Gah!" Tikal gets startled as her mouth quivers. "Uuuh... I..." she looks at her hands as she presses both her index fingers together. "am afraid of heights..."
Chaos places his hand on her shoulder which makes her look up at him. Chaos gives her a thumbs up of reassurance that everything will be okay.
Tikal smiles at him as she nods and gives him a look in determination. "Very well then. If you're not afraid to go then so am I!"
Tikal hops in the back seat while Chaos chills on the back wing of the biplane.
"Alright!" Tails looks back at the two. "You two ready?"
Tikal nods and Chaos gives him a thumbs up.
"Alright! Let's go!" he pushes a button.
*WHHHHHRRRRRRR...* the thrusters charges up.
*VROOOSH!* the blue aircraft takes off from the garage and into the blue skies as Tikal screams with a mixture of thrill and fear.
-Downtown Mobotropolis-
At the luxury side of Mobotropolis stood a tall penthouse where Rouge, Shadow, and Omega resides. The tallest floor in the building is where they are at. You can see the countless skies of the city along with the tall buildings along with the tiny cars and pedestrians from below. How could they afford such a view? It's all thanks to Rouge and her wealth thanks to the treasure that she stole throughout the years.
Omega and Shadow are at the balcony as they both lean over the baluster. Shadow stares off into the sky as he remembers the events that happened last year. 'How could Eggman survive that?' he wonders to himself after him and the others saw the broadcast from last night. Could it be a deepfake from a troll who thought that it would be funny to do a impersonation of the doctor? That seemed unlikely as Eggman himself had stated that he set up base over at one of the city's islands and there's a tall white building at said islands.
"Shadow." Omega rotates his head to the black hedgehog. "I want to destroy those tiny squishies from below. They are like ants and I want them annihilated." he clenches his fist. "This is my only way to vent frustration for the doctor surviving."
Shadow ignores his robotic companion as he drifts off into his mind. Somewhere back to last year...
-Egg Fleet (Final Fortress); One Year Ago...-
After the events of Sonic Heroes, Dr. Eggman suffered a great defeat. His own creation rebelled against him and locked him away for an unknown amount of time, majority of his army were destroyed thanks to our heroes, and the majority of his Egg Fleet were destroyed, greatly dwindling his battleships all thanks again to our heroes and Metal Overlord. Eggman only had a few hundred battleships in his dispense. But he knew that wouldn't quite be enough if say, G.U.N. tried to start a war with his empire.
The Final Fortress was a giant whale shark-like battle flagship that was located in the heart of Eggman's Egg Fleet. It was in bad shape from the events of Sonic Heroes due to Eggman having self destruct buttons out in the open for our heroes to press. The giant mechanical version of Eggman's head got destroyed, but somehow Eggman's valuable assets were still intact. The files, the computers, the inventions and so on. The doctor had yet to find time to repair the ship and to rebuild his empire due to him being very busy with something. And that something was a red octagonal gem.
This wasn't a Chaos Emerald but a completely different gem. The doctor discovered it at the ruins of a ancient echidna civilization. This gem is called the "Disorder Tourmaline" and according to the ancient writing that Eggman discovered along with it, it is said to be related to another gem called the "Phantom Ruby" and is said to carry tremendous power that can rival even those of the Chaos Emeralds. The text also told that if it has a host, that host has the potential to summon and channel things from their world and other worlds as well, only if they are able to find a way to. Eggman studied the gem for months with his former lackey, Snively. Snively then decides to snitch to G.U.N. about the doctor's discovery of the gem and his plan to use it to take over the world. G.U.N. sends their soldiers and a fleet of ships to Eggman's base without the doctor knowing. A war between G.U.N. soldiers and Eggman's robots broke out while Eggman ran to another Egg Emperor mech and started to fight back along with Metal Sonic.
Eggman sliced and diced through the countless G.U.N. mechs. The Gun Hunters, Shield Hunters, and hundreds of Gun Beetles.
"TAKE THIS! AND TAKE THAT!" shouted the doctor from inside his mech. "I'VE PLAYED TOO MUCH DYNASTY WARRIORS TO NOT LOSE! YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE!" he taunted as he piloted the mech with a video game controller.
Eggman appeared to be having the upper hand surprisingly with his smaller army until he was hit with a homing attack.
"GUH!" the Egg Emperor was knocked back. The emperor robot regained balanced and Eggman saw who it was. "Oh no! Not you!" he cried.
Sonic wagged his finger as his jacket blew in the intense wind. "C'mon doc. You gotta stay on your toes."
Shadow dropped behind Sonic as he wore a brown scarf that also blew in the wind. "Doctor. End this now!" a light green aura formed around his left hand. "Or there will be dire consequences that not even I will have control over."
"Shit!" Eggman swore. "I was having fun destroying these pests!"
Sonic zips on the Egg Emperor's lance. "Smashing bots are fun. Now you know how I feel when I be destroying your badniks!" Sonic zips to it's shield as Eggman tried to swat him off. "And geez doc. Do you even kiss your mother with that mouth?"
"Curses!" Eggman spun the mech around real fast, causing a small tornado. "I'll deal with you two right now!" shouts the doctor. "It's time to meet your maker!" he swats his lance around and shows off his shield.
Sonic looks up at the Egg Emperor with a cocky smirk. "Ready Shadow?"
"Ready when you are." the black hedgehog finishes charging up his Chaos powers.
"GO!" in a blink of a eye, Sonic dashes towards the camera and is already out of sight from the naked eye.
Moments later, the Egg Emperor was badly damaged. The head part of the mech was completely destroyed, exposing the bald doctor as the mech laid face down on the floor.
"Curse you..." Eggman says faintly. "I hate you... Hate... Those... Hedgehogs..."
Sonic kneels down at Eggman with a smirk. "Hey. You played well this time. But I think it's about time you retire that ol' mech."
Shadow walks up to the laid out doctor and looks down at him. "So, have you learned your lesson?"
Eggman's hand slowly raises in the air as he holds a red gem. The two hedgehogs looks at it as it glows.
"What is that thing?" Sonic asks.
"It can't be a Chaos Emerald." Shadow says.
"SONIC! SHADOW!" yells Tails as he piloted the Cyclone.
Eggman struggles to look up. "I'm... n-not done... y-y-ye-e-et..."
"Huh?" the two-tailed kitsune spots the gem in Eggman's hand as it glowed bright red. "What is...-" the gem slips out of Eggman's hand and heads to Tails. "AAAAH!" Tails closes his eyes and flinches. It happened too fast, but unbeknownst to Tails and the two hedgehogs. The gem went into Tails' forehead. But he didn't felt anything since the gem went inside as if a ghost walked through a wall.
Tails looks around. "Where did it go?"
"We'll look for it later." Shadow looks back at Tails. "What's more important is what to do with Eggman."
Sonic looks at the black and red hedgehog. "So... you're not going to try and you know, kill him or any anti-hero thing guys like you do?"
Shadow glares at Sonic and says nothing. A bunch of Gun Beetles surrounds them all.
"Uh-oh!" Sonic says as he looks up at the beetles.
MUSIC: [Sonic X OST - GUN]
"*BZZT!* Sonic! You and your friends get out of here!" commanded Abraham Tower. "Your work here is done." he says from his office as he sees them from a screen. He stares at the surveillance of Shadow for a few seconds. "... And great job with stopping Robotnik. We'll handle things from here."
Sonic gives Abraham the two-fingered salute. "Right on cap! Come on guys let's go!"
Tails transforms the Cyclone into the Tornado. "Ready when you guys are!" Tails gives a thumbs up.
Shadow walks towards the Tornado as he looks back at Eggman. "Hmmp!"
Before Sonic takes off, he salutes Eggman. "Well doc. I'll see ya around. Don't forget to write to me from prison- but I know that you're gonna escape eventually. But until then, I'm looking forward to next time! See ya doc!" Sonic hops on the left side of the wing as Shadow stood on the right side. "Alright bro! Let's head home!"
The Tornado takes off and flies away at the speed of sound. Flying through the rough weather and the unpredictable lightning. They fly above a fleet G.U.N. battleships.
"Those ships are HUGE!" Tails comments. "I bet it could house the inhabitants of South and Westside Island combined!"
Sonic rubs under his nose. "It looks like it little bro. Those things are bigger then the Egg Carrier and some of the Egg Fleet ships."
"..." Shadow doesn't say anything. 'Something about this feels off... Why aren't there any G.U.N. soldiers on foot with the doctor? Shouldn't they be arresting him?'
"Say Sonic..." Tails says. "You wonder what happened to that gem? It just disappeared into thin air."
"I don't know where it went. But I'm sure that it'll turn up somewhere. Until then, let's head on home and eat an unlimited supply of chili dogs!" Sonic licks his lips and imagines him swimming in a pool of chili dogs... even though he doesn't know how to swim.
As they fly further away, a announcement could be heard from G.U.N.'s lead battleship, the Letter of Gabriel.
"ATTENTION ALL BATTLESHIPS! PREPARE TO FIRE AT ROBOTNIK WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT!"shouted Abraham from the speakers. "I REPEAT! FIRE AT ROBOTNIK WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT!"
"!" Sonic, Tails, and Shadow all looked back in unison in shock.
"They're going to WHAT?!" Sonic's heart skipped a beat and he began to sweat.
"EXECUTE?!" says a shocked kitsune.
"They're going to execute him!" Shadow says as he looks below them at the fallen doctor.
Sonic looks down and shouts at Eggman. "YO DOC! YOU GOTTA GET UP AND GET OUTTA THERE!" even though Eggman is an bad guy and caused terror and put the world in danger many times. Sonic still felt that Eggman didn't deserve death. Lifetime in prison, yeah- but not death. Eggman wasn't really the type to kill anyone. The worst thing he could do is enslave you. Killing wasn't in the doctor's nature.
Shadow looks at the palm of his hand. "Even though I don't have a Chaos Emerald. I can still use my Chaos Powers; it might not be as strong but I can still try." Shadow holds his left hand up. "Chaos..." he snaps his fingers. "Control!" he warps in front of the doctor as he kneels and hold his hand out.
From his office, Abraham looks from his screen and sees Shadow attempting to help Eggman. "The hell?!" he slams his fist on his armchair. "Why is that devil trying to help him?!" he grimaces at Shadow. "He could be working with the doctor. I knew he couldn't be trusted..."
Flashbacks of Abraham's past of his youth shows flashbacks when he stayed onboard the Ark. He remembers seeing Gerald talking with an black and red alien creature that wore a dark brown robe with a scarf along with chains and medallions with jewelry in a lab. He remembers seeing a black and red hedgehog in suspended animation as he floated in a tube. The tube props up and Shadow awakens, greatly traumatizing a young Abraham.
'He's the reason why G.U.N. stormed the Ark and killed my family... even my closest friend, Maria. He shall be killed now.' he becomes greatly angered as he tries to calm down by taking deep breaths as he closes his eyes. "*Exhales* ... Ok..." he opens his eyes and speaks into the mic. "Attention all G.U.N. battleships. Prepare to fire!"
Shadow holds his hand out to Eggman. "Doctor. We must go!" no response, he was out cold. "Hmm?" he sees Metal Sonic flying towards them two and stops in front of Eggman. "Metal..." Shadow says. "We need to leave. Come with me." he holds his hand out to him.
Metal Sonic stares at Shadow for a couple of seconds and looks down at his creator. He gets on his metal knees and picks the doctor up over his shoulders. He looks at Shadow and shakes his head.
"..." Shadow simply stares as the blue robot tries to carry Eggman away.
"Prepare to take off. Thrusters 76%. Shield 89%."
Shadow places two fingers on his forehead with his right hand as he holds his left hand up as green aura forms around it. "Metal. We have to-"
"Go. I will try my best to protect the doctor." he says in his deep robotic voice.
"READY! AIM...!" shouts Abraham from the ships speakers.
"... Good luck." Shadow says as he tries to focus on where to teleport to.
"Shadow..."
Shadow looks back while focusing.
"Let my loathsome copy know that he was the best rival I've ever had." he activates his shields as it forms around him and Eggman.
"Will do..." he says as he takes a deep breath. "Chaos Control!" he snaps his fingers and teleports away.
Eggman wakes up. "Eh?" he looks up. "EGAD! I FELL ASLEEP!" he looks and see Metal Sonic carrying him over his shoulder. "Fly Metal! Fly!"
"Thrusters 99%."
Eggman grabs Metal and runs. "I hope you're not afraid of heights because it's our only choice!"
"FIRE!"
The whole fleet of battleships releases a barrage of lasers, missiles, bombs, and so on that would make Omega feel a orgasmic feeling. They kept firing nonstop as the ship broke in half and blew up to smithereens. The Final Fortress and the surrounding Egg Fleet all got blown to bits with nothing in sight.
Sonic stares in horror as everything got destroyed. The feeling he had was a mixture of despair and terror as he saw the destruction that G.U.N. has caused. Those fleet of battleships has the potential of destroying Earth and countless other planets if it falls into the wrong hands.
Tails trembles in fear as he hear the loud booming and felt the intense vibrations from the destruction. "Oh boy... imagine if G.U.N. went this crazy on us back then... I'm sure glad that they aren't our enemies. I hope Shadow made it out okay..."
*BLIP!*
Shadow teleports back on the wing. Sonic and Tails looks at the black hedgehog for answers about Eggman but all Shadow did was look down with his eyes closed as he shook his head "no". Sonic and Tails were bummed out.
"I tried. Metal tried to carry the doctor, but I don't think they made it..."
Sonic felt bad about it. "He might've been a rotten egg. But he sure was a great nemesis of ours. Now who's going to fill in the void? Sure there are other villains... but most of them are lower tiers who's probably drug lords and all that bad stuff." the Tornado flies out of the bad skies and into the blue sunny sky. Sonic looks up into the skies of Earth. "He was a damn good villain that's all I can say."
Tails nods. "Yep. But at least Earth is a bit safer now. I'm sure that a new villain is gonna appear. It's likely that someone will try and take Eggman's place."
Sonic winks and gives his two-tailed brother a thumbs up. "You're right bro. Let's go home!" the Tornado flies off into skies.
[Music Stops]
-Later-
-South Island-
All of Sonic's and Tails' friends were waiting for them at a spot at Green Hill Zone. Knuckles, Julie-Su, Sally, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Rouge, Omega, Vector, Charmy, and Espio were waiting at a specific spot. They were defending the island from Eggman's forces and watched the whole battle from a drone with a holographic screen (Since Tails always conveniently invents things.). The Tornado lands nearby and the three heroes set foot on the bright green grass. Everyone ran to the three of them and surrounded them.
"SONIC!" screams Amy as she runs and hugs up on him. "I've missed you so much!" she says as she was wearing her red dress and red and white boots. Sally folded her arms as she looked at the pink hedgehog sternly.
"Hey now. I'm fine. No need to get all grabby..." says the blue hedgehog as he tries to get the pink female hedgehog off.
Knuckles, who's wearing an open brown vest with white baggy harem pants, and his regular sneakers gives Sonic a dap. "Welcome back Sonic. You took care of Eggman and his robots?" he punches the air. "I wish I was there with you guys. I would've clobbered all them."
Sonic smirks as he finally got Amy to let go. "Yeah, I ate those badniks for breakfast! Your help wasn't needed. Nyeh!" he pulls his eyelid down and sticks his tongue out at him.
Knuckles' face becomes redder and a vein pops out, anime style as he foams out the mouth. "Grrrrr... Why you- get back here!" he chases after Sonic while the blue blur taunts him.
"You gotta be quicker than that Knux! You wouldn't have stood a chance up there!" Sonic blows raspberries at the echidna as he runs around.
Julie-Su laughs as she's wearing a teal colored vest and white shorts with some teal colored boots. "Go get'em Knuckie!"
Tails laughs at his two friends as they horse around. "*Laughs* Some things never change."
"Apparently so." says a female voice who appeared next to him. It was Sally. Her hair stopped at her shoulder as she had large bangs that appears over her forehead. She wore a blue open vest with a light green tank-top underneath, with black pants, and blue boots.
Tails stares at her face as he falls into a trance. 'Oh sweet Gaia she's beautiful...' Tails thinks to himself as his face becomes red.
The older chipmunk looks at him. "You okay Miles? You aren't shaken up by Robotnik's death are you?" she asks.
Tails snaps out of his trance and shakes it off. "Hahahaha!" he laughs it off. "Nah. Just... thinking about the cool G.U.N. ships I saw during the battle that's all."
Sally smiles at him as she slightly bends forward and hugs him with her small breasts pushing against his forehead which makes him feel all kinds of feelings. She breaks the hug and rubs on his bangs. "I'm proud of you Miles. You're brave and smart for your age." she pats him on the head and walks off to look for Sonic. "I'm going to look for Sonic right quick." she gives him a two-fingered wave.
'Sonic is so lucky...' he says as he stares at Sally's tail as it shakes from side to side.
"I see you eyeing her tail you sneaky little fox~" says a certain big breasted bat. She rests her breasts on top of Tails' head. "You like her huh?"
Tails gets a nosebleed and zips away from Rouge. "H-hey! Don't go sneaking up on me like that!" he blushes hard.
Rouge closes her eyes as she shrugs as she tries to play dumb. "Oh I'm sorry." she says as she looks at the fox with a seductive smile. "I need to respect your boundaries~" she bends forward, giving Tails a good look at her ample cleavage as she gives him a wink.
Tails is at a loss of words as he stares at her massive orbs for a bit and he gulps as he looks up at Rouge's face. He looks at her as she seductively smirks at him as he lets out a subtle giggle. Tails steps back a few times and runs away. "I-I'll see you later!" he runs away with his eyes closed.
Rouge giggles as Shadow walks up to her with Omega besides him asking him questions.
"You say that the doctor died in a giant explosion?"
"Correct." Shadow responds.
"And you said that it was large?"
"Correct." Shadow responds again.
"And you said that it has the potential to destroy countless planets including our own?"
"Precisely." Shadow responds.
Omega shakes in joy. "I must become the ultimate weapon and annihilate everything. Including planets."
Shadow looks at Rouge as he pats Omega's arm. "Remember to use your powers for good. Good always wins."
"Smoking that Eggman pack." Omega does a gesture pretending that he's smoking a cigarette while his speakers plays "Laughin' to the Bank" by Chief Keef and proceeds to dance.
Rouge looks over her shoulder. "Oh there you are. Everything's alright?"
Shadow walks past her and stops as he looks straight ahead. "The doctor's gone." he looks over her shoulder to the busty bat. "Him and Metal Sonic are no more."
Rouge gasps as she covers her mouth. "So the good ol' doc actually kicked the bucket that's what you're saying?"
Shadow nods. "G.U.N. destroyed him and his whole fleet. There was nothing left. Once was is no more." he walks away. "Looks like our work here is done." he looks over to Sonic who finally got caught by Knuckles as he endures the red echidna's noogies. "See you around."
"*Grunts* Ow! Heh heh. Don't be a stranger Shadow!" Sonic gives him a peace sign.
As Team Dark walks away a helicopter lands nearby. Everyone stops and looks to see who it is.
"Stand back." Shadow holds his arm out in front of Rouge. "It could be Eggman playing tricks on us."
It wasn't Eggman. It was actually the president of the United Federations. Two of his bodyguards get out of the aircraft and escorts him out. He walks up to Shadow and shakes his hand.
"Shadow. Is that correct?" he looks down at the shorter hedgehog.
"..." Shadow keeps his guard up as he is suspicious of the tall man in a blue suit.
The man looks and sees Sonic getting beat up by Knuckles. "And Sonic?"
Sonic sees the president and kicks Knuckles off him and dashes up to him. "Yeah? 'Sup?"
He shakes the blue hedgehog's hand. "I am the president of the United Federations. I heard that you and your friends have assisted G.U.N. with Robotnik's death. So as a thank you to you guys. We have something to give you all." the rewards for everyone except Tails, Sonic, and Shadow were thousands of Mobiums (a currency that is used in "Mobian" territory such as South Island, Westside Island and so on.) and a lifetime supply of their favorite stuff. Except for jewelry, Rouge only got a lifetime supply of free Bath & Body Works coupons which made her disappointed.
"Really?" says Rouge as she holds the coupons to his face. "This is all I get? Where's the jewelry?"
The president laughs at the bat's reaction. "I thought that it would be appropriate for you."
"I have plenty of perfumes and body wash that will last me a lifetime. That's no way to treat a lady."
The caucasian man smiles at her in a joking manner. "Hey. If you want to be treated like one, then you need to smell like one." he laughs as Rouge squints at him. He wipes a tear from his eye. "But on a serious note. I will contact you for your next mission. In the meantime you can use that money I gave you to open up a business or something in that fashion. Good work agent Rouge."
"Hey, what about us?" Sonic asks.
The president gives him a smile. "Don't feel left out. We've saved the best for last. You three, come with me back to my white house."
Sonic looks back at his friends and then looks at the president. "What about my friends?"
"We'll be fine." says the red echidna. "Go with the president. You three sound important." he says sarcastically.
"Heh. Maybe if you were cool like me, you could hang out with the president as well." bragged Sonic as he brushed his quills with his hands.
Grrrr..." Knuckles steps forward as he shows Sonic his fist. "Hurry up and go before I beat you up again!"
Sally walks up to Sonic and holds his hand. "Be careful." she says as she looks at the blue hedgehog's green eyes.
"Will do Sal." they give each other a quick kiss on the lips which Tails saw and made him salty.
'I hate it when they do that.' he says to himself.
The three of them gets into the helicopter with the president and it flies off.
-Central City; The White House-
"WHAT?!" Sonic looks shocked. "I have a mother and two siblings?!"
A mature female purple hedgehog with purple hair wearing a dress walks up to him along with a female violet hedgehog with pink hair and a male green hedgehog with wild spiky quills on the top of his head. Her name is Aleena. She abandoned Sonic and his siblings at separate locations to hide them from someone or something, and vowed to reunite with her children once the problem was dealt with. Apparently the problem had seemed to be dealt with since she reunited with her children.
The mature female hedgehog looks down at Sonic and rubs his right cheek. "My sweet son. It's heartwarming to see you grow up to be a young handsome hero." she gives him a big hug while Sonic is still shocked. "I'm sorry that I have abandoned you and your siblings." a tear rolls down her cheek. She breaks the hug and looks at her son. "I had to deal with personal matters. But that doesn't matter now that we're together again."
Manic looks at Sonia. "I can't believe that Sonic, the world hero is our frigging brother! How cool is that?!"
Sonia looks at herself with her small compact mirror as she fixes her makeup. "Not now. I'm trying to look good for my brother."
"Well let me tell you something. No matter how good you look. Your voice will always sound weird. You sound like if Steve Urkel tries to sound like a girl."
*CRASH!*
"OW!" shouts Manic as Sonia beats him up.
Tails laughs at their interactions. Then two foxes approaches him. One is a female fox and the other is a male fox who's face was covered by a book he was reading.
"Oh my! Look! It's our son." the female vixen hugs Tails.
"That's nice to hear. Nice to meet you champ." he says while still reading his book as he pets Tails' head. "I'll get back to you in a sec. Lemme finish this chapter." he walks to a sofa.
Tails looks at the vixen with wide eyes. "You-you're my... mom?" she nods as she tries to hold back her tears. Tails mouth quivers as he lets his tears out and hugs her tight. "MOM!" he cries. "I've been searching for you all my life!"
She cries as she rubs the back of her son's head. "Search no more my little fox. We're here for you."
Shadow and the president stands by as they watch Sonic and Tails reunite with their relatives. The president stands with his arms behind his back and he clears his throat. "*Ahem*! Um... Mr. Shadow, I have something for you." he hands him a card that has the G.U.N. logo on it along with his another card that has his contact info.
"..." Shadow stares at it and looks at the tall man.
"I know this isn't much. But if you ever want to reach out to me, I'll be there. That G.U.N. card is for if you ever want to work for G.U.N.. Just use that for whenever you want to work for them." he places his hand on Shadow's shoulder. "I believe that you'll make a great soldier and protector of humanity and Earth."
Shadow places the card in his pocket. "I have a question." he looks the president in the eye. "I need to know. Am I the real Shadow?"
The camera slowly zooms in on the president's face as he looks at Shadow. The scene then changes to Shadow's face as they camera slowly zooms in and he squints at the man.
An hour later. Sonic and Shadow stand in front of the white house as they get their picture taken. Tails opts out since him being reunited with his parents overpowered everything at that moment. They all had a nice dinner and tour of the white house. Before everyone left, the president has made an offer to convince the king of the Acorn Republic to let Sonic and his friends go to Mobotropolis High for free as a small thanks. Sonic was reluctant to go since he never liked school but Aleena, his mother made him accept the offer. Tails wanted to go but he was too young at the time and had to wait until the following year. Shadow declined since he has retained some of Gerald's knowledge and the teaching at school wouldn't do it justice.
Before Shadow left, he shakes the president's hand one last time. "Thank you Mr. President." he manages to crack a smile. "I appreciate you for telling me everything."
"Anytime big guy." the president pats Shadow on his back.
Without further ado the black hedgehog skates into the city as the president looks at the black hedgehog go.
-End of Flashback-
"Shadow? Are you okay? Ms. Rouge? I think Shadow's software needs rebooting."
Shadow snaps out of it as he shakes his head. "I'm fine. I was daydreaming." he turns around to see Rouge talking on a wireless telephone inside the penthouse.
"Yes sir. Me and my bodyguards saw the doctor's aircraft flying through Thunder Plains Zone. I was unable to verify if it was the doctor or someone impersonating him." says Rouge. She was talking to the president while he was in his private jet. "If he do go through with becoming the principal of the school, then me and my bodyguards will find a way to infiltrate the school and keep a close eye on the doctor."
The president was sitting in a comfy chair while his feet was getting massaged. "Alright Rouge. I'm counting on you. If you need backup Paladin Team Sigma-Alpha 2 will be there in case something happens."
"Why yes sir. Hopefully nothing will happen during our time there."
"I'm counting on you Rouge."
"Yes sir. We will do our best. Rouge out." she hangs up.
Shadow and Omega walks in. "Everything's good?" he asks.
Rouge puts her phone back in her case. "Yes. The president wants us to infiltrate the school if Eggman ever goes through with his plan."
Omega raises his hand. "Ooh! Ooh! Will I be able to destroy things?"
"Maybe." she responds as she walks away.
"What do you have planned?" asks the black and red hedgehog.
Rouge is walking out the doorway and stops to look back at the Ultimate Lifeform. "You have to wait and see." she leaves as Shadow and Omega looks at each other.
-Outskirts of Mobotropolis-
Later on while Tails was taking his plane for a spin he got a call from Mina. She told him about the return of Eggman, which is something he already knew about (actually everyone in the world did) but he guessed that she wanted to vent about it. She asked if he wanted to hang out with her friends near her neighborhood. Tails being the kind fox that he is, he accepts and decided to bring Tikal and Chaos as well since they were with him.
Mina's friends came along as well and they all hung out at a beautiful lake near a small industrial bridge as vehicles passed by. The lake is beautiful as it sparkles and is surrounded by tall grass and dirt roads. Even here the tall buildings of Mobotropolis could be seen but this time from a different angle.
Mina and her friends were amazed with Chaos and his cool abilities that he showed off and they dressed him up like an angel, pretending that he is their guardian angel. They were fascinated by Tikal and her aura, but Chaos' coolness grabbed their attention. Tails didn't get the whole "angel" thing but he blushed at the sight of the outfits that Mina and her friends were wearing.
Their outfits were nothing but a crop-top long-sleeved jacket with small angel wings in the back, shorts, tennis shoes, and a large halo that hovered above their heads. The outfits were planned for Mina's next concert; something that is going to be angel themed. They all danced around Chaos as they threw flower petals on him as he stood there, liking the attention he was getting.
Tails got a nosebleed as he stared at Mina and her body. He shook it off and tried to distract himself by looking on his phone but Mina's energy was too hard to ignore. Tikal liked what they were doing and joined in on the fun by grabbing flower petals and throwing them on Chaos as she danced around with them.
Tails couldn't keep his eyes off the female mongoose and her body and he began to blush harder. He could feel his head getting hotter which was a bad sign. He shook it off and tried to walk back to the Tornado to see if he could distract himself by working on it some more. But he got stopped since he felt Mina grabbing his hand.
"Where do you think you're going?" ask the kind-hearted mongoose as she looks Tails in the eye as she blushes at him. "I haven't forgotten about you." she holds a flower crown. "It might not be a halo, but it's just as special since I made it for you~" she leans her face towards his, almost as if she's going to kiss him.
"Oooooh...!" says Mina's friends in unison as they look at what's going to happen next.
Mina places the flower crown on his head and closes her eyes and gives him a kiss on his cheek. "I'm your guardian angel as long as you be mines." she lightly exhales in his ear and slowly pulls back. Tails freezes and looks at the mongoose as he blushes at the sight of her as she looks at him with her hands behind her back.
Tails felt butterflies fluttering in his stomach. The feeling isn't as strong as his feelings for Sally but it was quite there. He places his hand on his cheek at the spot where she kissed him on and gently rubs it. "... I will..."
"Awwww...!" says Mina's friends and Tikal in unison as they all blush. Chaos squishes his cheeks together as he blushes at the sight of them.
Mina gives him a bright smile. "You're so sweet Tails." she says as she blows him a kiss.
Tails stares at her lips. There was something about it. He wanted to get kissed by them again. "..." he tries to say something, but the words doesn't come out.
Mina gives Tails one more smile and she turns around to finish their thing with Chaos. As they continue to dance and spin around Chaos, Tails' wound gets hotter and his horns tries to stick out. He fights the feeling and tries his best to keep those horns down as he participated in the thing with Chaos.
"Chaos is our guardian angel! Chaos will protect us all!" they all chanted. They was doing this for at least 15 minutes and Tikal was getting tired but she tried her best to keep up.
"... Aaaaand... STOP!" shouts Mina. Mina's friends freezes on cue as if they were rehearsing for a show (which they were). Tikal and Tails failed to freeze on time but that's okay since they weren't any of Mina's dancers. The yellow lilac haired mongoose turns around to Chaos. She has a flower necklace in her hands. She stands on her tippy toes and puts it around Chaos and places her arms on his shoulders.
'Is this part of the rehearsal?' Tails asks himself.
"Here comes the best part!" says Katrina as she clasps her hands as her eyes sparkles.
Mina leans forward to Chaos' face, slowly as she has her eyes half-closed. "We're happy to be your angels..." she closes her eyes and puckers her lips to Chaos' nonexistent lips, slowly going in for a kiss.
Tikal and Mina's friends eyes sparkles. Tikal had no idea what was going on but she went along with it while her friends knew that this was a script that they had to rehearse.
'What?! NO!' Tails shouted to himself as he felt jealousy. 'I should be the one getting kissed!'
Mina's lips almost touches Chaos' as he stands there having no clue on what's going on.
'S-S-S-STOP!' the kitsune shouts in his head. He is too shy and embarrassed to admit that he also has feelings for Mina as much as she has feelings for him. He feels too embarrassed to shout no in front of her and everyone else. Their lips almost come into contact. Tails cringes and closes his eyes shut as he trembles. 'NO! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO KISS ME! I LIKE YOU MINA! -YOU AND SALLY!"
The scene flickers between Tails' dilemma and Mina and Chaos' diving to kiss each other. It flickers faster and faster as their face becomes closer and then. They kiss. The scene stops at Mina and Chaos' kiss and the whole scene turns red and cracks as it shatters into a million pieces.
"AAAAAH!" screams Tails in agony and jealousy as he falls to his knees and looks up to the sky as he grabs his head.
"Tails?!" Mina breaks the kiss and looks at the yellow kitsune as her face is covered with Chaos' aquatic liquid.
"!" Chaos becomes alarmed and sees his buddy screaming.
Then...
"GAAAH!" Tails screams as his bandage flies clean off exposing his red hot wound and his horns that's growing out of his head. Tails looks up and sees that his horns have became bigger and oozing out liquid from the top. It begin to jerk at Tails' touch. "I-I-It's s-s-s-so s-s-sensit-ti-tive!" he shakes uncontrollably.
Hearts form in Katrina's eyes as tiny red hearts fly around her head, anime style. She drools at the sight of Tails' horns and the way it looks. "Oh my God! It's sooo big! Look at the liquids it oozes out!" Katrina licks her lips.
Bobbi shakes Katrina. "No way! I wanna go first!"
Meek hops in front of them. "No! I wanna go first!"
Yumi looks at her friends in disgust as she speaks in her native language. "你们太恶心了 (You are so disgusting.)" she shakes her head and sighs as a white puff comes out of her mouth, anime style.
Mina tries to run to Tails but Chaos holds her back. "TAILS! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO YOU?!"
Tails struggles to fight with the excruciating pain and the oddly simultaneously good feeling. "I-I DON'T KNOW! IT'S- AAAUGH!" the horns pushes up from Tails' head and is revealed to be black mechanical fingers and out comes a giant black mechanical hand with a bright red circle in it's palms. The pain is so bad that Tails nearly passed out. But as the strong fox that he is, he kept conscious.
Music: [Star Fox 64 - Boss B]
"*DROOOOIIIID*!" sounds from Tails' wound could be heard. It's hand is so large that it pushes onto the grass and ground to pull itself out. Another large hand pops out as well and does the same as the first hand in pulling itself out. "*DROOOOIIIID*!" the sounds could be heard once again as the two hands push onto the grass and ground.
Tikal uses her power to form a shield around herself and the others as she fears for the worst.
Tails looks up from his forehead as he nearly passes out as his eyes become wide white circles and he drools, anime style from the pain that he's receiving.
"*DROOOOIIIID!* *BLIP BLIP*!" flashing lights could be seen coming from Tails' wound as dark clouds forms in the sky. It looked as if a party was inside Tails' wound. "*BLUH BLIP BLIP BLUH BLIP BLIP*!" a large horizontal cylinder shaped robotic head with a huge glowing red eye slowly emerges from Tails' wound. It pauses from getting itself fully out and observes it's surroundings as it rotates it's head around in a 360° angle. It stops at the sight of Mina and everyone around her. "*UUNH-UUNH-UUNH-UUNH*!" it stops and stares at them for at least 30 seconds.
Mina and the others froze in fear, hoping that this... thing is like a dinosaur and cannot see things that don't move.
"Uuuh..." Mina's eyes tremble out of fear.
"*UUNH-UUNH-UUNH*! DESTROY! DESTROY!" it says in a deep robotic voice. The giant robot pushes against the ground with all it's might and pops out of Tails' head as the part of Tails head that has flown off transforms into gelatin-like liquid and magically reattaches itself back onto Tails' head. The two-tailed kitsune falls out as he twitches.
The giant robot lands in the lake as the ground trembles as the lake's water and fish fly high in the air. The robot has to at least be 7 feet tall with a humanoid body and limbs. The robot stampeded over to Mina and the others and stopped directly in front of them all. It then leaned forward towards them and froze as its giant bright red eye loomed over them. Mina, Tikal, and the others hugged onto Chaos as they shook uncontrollably in fear.
"D-D-Don't worry... th-the shield will protect us." says Tikal as a tear hangs from her eye from fear. "I-I-I don't know how long or how much damage it could take, but hopefully we can escape and get Sonic and the others..."
"*UUNH-UUNH-UUNH-UUNH-UUNH*! TAKE ME TO THE CREATOR! DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY!" the robot was saying random things almost as if it is struggling with itself.
Mina tries to hold in her screams since she was terrified. "Mmm... mmm..." she shakes as she closes her eyes.
"*DROOOOIIID... DROOOOIIIID*!" a bright red light comes out of it's eye as it scans them. "*UUNH-UUNH-UUNH*! PROCESSING*...!" beeping noises and clicking could be heard from inside as it sounded like an actual PC. As it was processing them, it's eye color turned yellow. But shortly, it became red again as it looked at them intensely. "*DESTROY! EXECUTION! IN 3... 2..." it holds it's hands together as a dark ball of energy forms in it.
Mina couldn't hold it in. So she shrieks. "*SHRIEK*!" everyone covered their ears at Mina's loud shrieking. Gold rings projected from her mouth and came hitting the giant robot. The robot's circuits short circuited as it frozed as sparks escaped from it's joints.
"!" Chaos found the opportunity to push the giant machine, knocking it back and causing it to stumble a few times.
"*DROOOOIIIID*! I WILL TERMINATE ALL ENEMIES!" the robot regained it's balanced as it's head spun around a few times. "WHERE IS THE ENEMY?!" it randomly shouted as it stampeded towards Mina.
The terrified mongoose watched in horror as the machine was stomping everything in it's path just to get to her. 'I think I got one more in me to shriek. If I don't be too careful then it's bye-bye to my singing career.' "*Sighs* Here goes." she takes a deep breath and lets out another shriek. "*SHRIEK*!" she shrieked at the top of her lungs.
"*DROOOOIIIID*! WHERE IS THE CREATOR?! UUNH-UUNH-UUNH!" it began to fire laser beams everywhere as Chaos deflected those that came in the way of Mina and the others.
[Music Stops]
Tails gets up groggily as he held his head. "Oooh... my head's spinning..." he shakes it off and gets up to see a giant robot trying to destroy his friends. "Ah!" Tails wipes his eyes to make sure what he sees isn't a dream. He finish wiping his eyes and nope! It wasn't a dream. 'I need to think of something...' he curls into a ball and charges up a spin dash.
*VREE VREE VREE... PSHOOOO!*Tails spin dashes at the robot's right ankle and bounces off.
"OOF!" Tails lands on his bottom, hurting his tails. "Son of a..." he says as he rubs his butt. He looks to see Chaos defending Tikal and the others so he runs over there to them. "Guys! Did that thing came out of my head?" he asks.
"Tails!" shouts Mina. "That weird thing came out of your head and is now randomly attacking us!" she grabs his hands as she looks at him. "We have to do something about it!"
Tails starts to think as he looks down and hold his chin. "Let's see... Maybe that big red eye is it's weak point..." Tails begins to postulate. "... and if one of us can hit it with enough force..." Chaos deflected all of the lasers that the robot shot out. The aquatic creature then stares at our two-tailed protagonist and sniffs him like a dog. "then maybe it's eye can break and..."
Chaos rips his shirt open with his torso as it opens in half like a mouth with sharp canines. It opens wide enough that it could potentially swallow everyone in that range whole. Mina, Tikal, and the others stared in horror.
"AH!" Katrina flinches as she shields herself. "PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" she picks up Meek and holds her out. "EAT MEEK INSTEAD!"
"Hey! Put me down! I heard that dogs are tastier than mouse!" screams the hot pink haired mouse.
Tikal looks at her aquatic companion out of fear. "CHAOS! WHAT ARE YOU-"
"Huh?" Tails turns around to see what the commotion was all about. "Wha-? AAAAH!"
Chaos chomps Tails, chewing a few more times before completely digesting him. "*GULP*! *Sigh*" Chaos sighs out of satisfaction as he swallows Tails.
Inner Mina pops up over her shoulder. "DID HE JUST...? OH NO HE DIDN'T! IF I WAS REAL, I WOULD STOMP THAT BRAIN OF HIS!" Inner Mina poofs away. Mina's horrified look then turned into anger as she scowls at the ancient deity.
"YOU GOD DAMN MONSTER!" she beats his chest. "YOU ATE TAILS! HOW COULD YOU?!" she falls on her knees and sobs as she burries her face in her hands. "*Sobs* First we include you in our rehearsal... *sniffs* then I kiss you... then I *sniff sniff* I-I become your friend... and now you ate Tails and we're all gonna die!" she looks at Chaos as her nose runs and her eyes blurred with tears. "YOU MONSTER!" Mina sobs some more.
"?" Chaos scratches his head as he tries to figure out what he did wrong.
Inside Chaos was nothing but water. Tails was deep inside and was underwater. The only thing is... he can breath. He stayed in one spot as he looks around and sees a bright yellow light.
'What is that?' Tails wonders to himself. 'I've seen and dealt with enough weird things for a lifetime. I don't wanna stick around and- ACK!' the bright light zips into Tails' wound and screws itself in as if it was a screw being screwed like a screwdriver. Tails closes one eye as he fights the pain. 'S-so...- ack! Painful!' the light completely went inside his wound as Tails passed out once again. Everything went white.
Back outside, Mina was still sobbing and hitting on Chaos. "I HATE YOU! YOU HEAR ME?! I HATE YOU!" she cries as the robot continues on his rampage in the background.
Yumi shouts at Chaos. "You monster! You killed him! Do you know what my people do to killers like you back at home?!"
The rest of Mina's friends yells all kinds of things at Chaos, but Chaos isn't fazed. Tikal tries to calm everyone down. "Calm down everyone. We'll figure this out..." she glares a sharp dagger at Chaos. "You better explain yourself Chaos!"
Mina's fist trembles as she raises it in the air and then brings it down with great force at Chaos. But before it could make contact, Chaos transforms.
Music: [Little Busters by The Pillows]
-FWISH!- a bright yellow aura shoots up into the sky, piercing the dark clouds and revealing the blue sky up above.
"Huh?" Mina stops crying as she and the others witness the transformation.
The light fades away and reveals Chaos' transformation. Chaos is now a faint yellow color, he has fox-like ears, his eyes are still green, his body is the same as his normal form with the only difference is he now has two giant tails that resembles Tails'. A faint water tornado spins and surrounds him as he stands there and stares the robot down while it rains. He poses as the name of his new form is revealed:
カオスフォームT (Chaos Form T)
Every looks with their mouths wide open as they see that Chaos can transform into something entirely new. Mina looks at Chaos as tears still stream down her face. The water tornado disappears and Chaos turns around to Mina and caresses her face with his large finger. She looks up, speechless at him as he gives her a thumbs up. As she looks him in the face, she sees a faint image of Tails. Chaos pats her on the head looks in the direction of the robot.
"... Stay here. I must slay this monster." Chaos says in a deep voice that sounds quite like Yami Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. "I will release your friend after this. I promise." he walks away as the water tornado forms around him once again.
"..." Mina simply stares as she tries to process what just happened.
Inner Mina pops up once again. "Did he just... talk? Alright. I'm done for the day. You're on your own queen." she poofs away.
Tikal stares. "Chaos... I didn't know you could do that..."
Music: [Star Fox Assault - Boss 3]
The robot stops it's rampage and observes Chaos. "*DROOOOIIIID*! ARE YOU THE CREATOR?!" it fires a beam at Chaos' direction but he deflects it with his hand.
"I am not the creator of you or this world. I am the God of Destruction, Chaos!" he charges at the robot and punches it in it's torso, knocking it back and making it fall down. Chaos warps and spin around as small water tornadoes come out of his tails.
It successfully hits the robot and the robot's torso gets drenched and it takes damage. "PURPOSE! WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?! *DROOOOIIIID*!" it jumps up and charges at Chaos, hitting him with it's arm.
Chaos catches the arm and manages to not get knocked back, but water splashes out of Chaos and he swings the robot around and flings him up above. Chaos launches the water tornado surrounding him and hits the robot, pushing it further into the air as it produces more rain water. Chaos propels his two tails and flies towards it as he hold his right hand back, stretching it all the way down to the ground. "Take this!" he releases and his fist snaps back like a rubber band and launches high in the air towards the robot and punches it in it's giant red eye.
*KLINK!* it's giant red eye shatters, revealing circuits and a giant hole where the energy beam comes out of. The robot, still in the air, charges up another beam, this time with everything it has.
"THE VIEW IS CLEAR!" shouts the robot. "*DROOOOIIIID*!"
Chaos lands on his feet and looks up to see the robot charging it's attack. Chaos impulsively folds his body and expands his limbs as he transforms into a weapon that resembles a cannon mixed with a sniper rifle.
"OOOH!" says Mina and everyone else as their eyes sparkles with stars.
Chaos in his cannon form aims and locks on to the robot. The robot fires the beam and at the same time, Chaos fires a projectile that looks like a whirlpool at the robot. The robot's beam and Chaos' projectile collides with each other's as Chaos' engulfs the beam. The beam is trapped inside the water as it falls back down towards Chaos. Chaos' rifle transforms into a giant fan as he blows the engulfed beam back at the robot with full force as if a car was going a hundred miles per hour. The beam goes through the robot's head and leaves a giant empty hole as the robot falls.
[Music Stops]
"I AM COMPLETE!" the robot crashes into the lake.
Chaos transforms back into his previous form and sees that the robot is now deactivated. Chaos returns to Mina and looks her in the eyes as her halo is damp from the flying water during the battle. "Here's your friend." Chaos grunts as he squints his eyes. He strains intensely and...
*POOP!*
Chaos lets out a silent giggle as he blushes as Tails slides out of his invisible nonexistent rectum as he's covered in brown, muddy liquid. Tails' eyes becomes swirls, anime style as Mina and everyone else looks in disgust.
"BLEH!" Mina sticks her tongue out and pinches her nose. "You smell bad!"
Tails gets up and shakes everything off. "Chaos what was that?"
Chaos squints as he gives Tails the "okay" symbol. Chaos looks in the direction of the robot. "!" Chaos points as he panics.
"What is it?" he looks in the direction Chaos pointed and sees that the robot's giant hands were heading towards them with it's palms out, ready to grab whatever it could and most likely squeeze them to a pulp. Tails shields Mina while Chaos tries to shield Tikal and the others as they were all hugging on to each other screaming.
But then... the robot's hands fell and slid on the wet muddy ground and stopped in front of Tails and friends. "*BZZT*! *KZZT*! W-WHERE I-I-I-I-I-IS-S-S-S-S THE- CREATOOOOoooooorrrrrrr...?" the robot shuts down and it explodes.
Everyone shields themselves from the explosion and looks to see the sky clears up, revealing the red sky from the sunset. The rain that Chaos caused has cleared all of the things that was on fire that the robot did.
Tikal walks up to Chaos and looks up at him. "So... if you... eat people... you can transform into them, correct?"
Chaos gives Tikal some sign languages. "(It is complicated. I smelled an odd aura from a gem in Tails. So I had to absorb it by eating him.)"
Tikal understood what Chaos was saying through sign language. "Huh. How come I never knew about this until now?" she places her hands on her hips as she smiles at him.
Chaos shrugs and does a "shh" gesture.
"You're so sneaky. You scared us." laughed Tikal.
Katrina and the rest of Mina's friends surrounds Chaos. "Oh my God! Chaos! We didn't know that you could transform!" says the female Afghan hound her eyes sparkles and she gives him a wide grin with her sharp canines.
"That was so cool!" Bobbi squeals in excitement.
"What else can you do?!" Meek asks as her eyes sparkles.
"You could probably flood the whole planet again if you want!" exclaims Yumi. "We should've never doubted you! You really are our guardian angel!"
All of the girls kept bombarding Chaos with questions and suggestions as he blushes from all the attention he's getting from the girls. A few feet away was Tails and Mina as she sat right next to Tails as it gently rained.
She looks at Chaos and her friends and giggles at their fangirling. She looks up at the rain as she smiles and hold her hand out, allowing the rain to fall onto her palm. "You can't stop the rain..." she giggles as she made a reference to a song by "Loose Ends". "I love that song..." she turns her head to see Tails as he stares at the spot the robot was. "You alright?" asks the female mongoose as she places her hand on top of his.
Tails gets out of his deep thought and looks down to see her hand touching his. His face turns red and he looks at Mina to see her looking at him with rosy cheeks. "Sorry... I was thinking about that robot."
"You must have another zone inside your head that makes robots. That must be super cool!" she looks at the crater where the robot blown up at. "It was scary, but aside from the bad stuff, I think you have a pretty cool power." she looks at his forehead where there's a red mark. "Robots coming out of your head... I bet if you try hard enough, you could probably summon a Eva Unit." she winks at him.
Tails thinks about it. "That would be cool. But I wanna get rid of this problem as soon as possible." he looks at Mina as she looks at him with half closed eyes and a smile as she rests her head on his shoulder.
"Tails, you're so cool. You're a cool fox." she casually says. She looks at Chaos and smiles at him. 'Chaos is the perfect guardian angel for us. If he wasn't here I don't know what would've happened to us. He's cool as well.' she rests her head on his shoulder again.
"Thanks... y-you're cool as well..." he thinks to himself. 'Sally is the girl of my dreams. And Mina could be a potentially awesome girlfriend. And Bunnie is well... Bunnie. I like Sally a whole lot. But these other girls are so cool as well... Boy this is out of my element..."
The scene shows the back of Tails and Mina as they sat in front of the lake and the camera pans up to the sunset sky as the sirens of the police cars and firetrucks could be heard from the distance.
Mina could feel Tails' heart beating fast. "Tails, your heart is beating super fast. Are you nervous because I, a beautiful girl is on you?" she teases.
"Heh heh..." Tails' nervous laugh could be heard as the camera stops and shows the beautiful skyline of Mobotropolis.

Author's Note 2: I didn't even know that this chapter was going to be this long. LMAO! Whoops! Well I hope you dawgs enjoyed this chapter. I had a blast writing and fleshing Chaos out even though I'm not really satisfied with how I executed it but I still think it's passable.
Hugo Brass was a character in Archie Sonic who I felt had missed potential. Sure he was a cliche military guy who's trope has been done to death, but I felt that he has gotten the short end of the stick when it came to character development and a fleshed out motive. In the comics his appearance changed throughout the years. First he was a buff black man with a spiky beard with a weird haircut in the letter G which symbolizes G.U.N.. Then he became white and up until the reboot, he had brown skin. Personally I just said "Fxck it" and made him into a buff black guy who looks and talks like Mr. T. I want to give him a personality where he comes off as comedic but at the same time he won't hesitate to show you no mercy. The kind of guy that would literally bite a chunk of your head and chew it and spit it out kind of guy.
I told you guys I be making up things as I go. To me it's better that way and more fun. The robot that comes out of Tails head I based off of the Habarool from The Misadventures of Tron Bonne with a mixture of the Spyborg from Star Fox 64 (most of the quotes are a dead giveaway). The "UUNH!" sounds it makes I based it off of the anime version of the Regi Pokémon with the sounds they make (specifically Regirock) because I thought it was cool.
Even though I pulled things out of my ass I do have to say that the majority of this episode is another homage to FLCL. I just wanted to do one more homage just to get it out of my system (What can I say? That anime got me through some hard times back in my teen years) but trust me on this when I say that I have a lot of original content for this series. I might make future chapters shorter just to keep myself from getting burnt out, but I can't help it. I actually enjoy writing long stories.
I'm going to try my best to get better at writing stories and writing in general and I hope that this story motivates at least one person out there in the world to never give up! Follow your dreams everyone! I'll catch y'all jawns on the flip side! Until then, peace!
