Blue Bloods - Season 12 -10- Danny and Maria
The Reagan Family finds itself wading through the turmoil of times like these that tests everyone's will and their own individual comfort levels. Frank's declaration of war with City Hall takes a new twist in that he places himself in the public view while his officers begin the process of enforcing the laws and arresting the law breakers.
Season 12 -2 has some spoilers that fit the narrative of this story- Frank , Sid and Garrett recapping the news events of Frank Reagan at the scene of a window washer harassing a citizen and being arrested,
Sid: I got to be honest with you boss … When I saw the video of your detail cuffing that squeegee guy….. ear to ear thank you
Garrett : Millions of people watched it, also not all of them grinning
Sid: Long time coming boss….. people are happy…. Somebody's finally standing up and saying enough is enough
Garrett: I wouldn't count the Mayor as one of those people
Sid: What the squeegee guy did was illegal….. What the boss did was completely on the up and up… rank and file is gonna love it too
Garrett: The Mayor however will see it as a personal insult
Frank: So you're saying … I did it intentionally just to piss him off
Garrett: No …. I think you had the guy collard because you legitimately thought it was the right thing to do….. I also think that about halfway through the whole thing …. It occurred to you how this would play with the mayor and decided to go through with it anyway
Sid: Don't be ridiculous….. nobody thinks of that much stuff in the heat of the moment
Garrett: Have it your own way… but probably best to reach out to the Mayor….. before he reaches out to you
Frank: Reach out for what
Garrett: Well to apologize for any imagined slight
Frank: I think we're beyond that….. Like I told him ….. actions speak louder than words… This is a two way street when it comes to videos going viral….. Let's see if he's serious about the PSA's and Policy changes
Sid: You gave a push that he didn't expect
Garrett: This war is gonna get ugly and soon
Frank: Can it get any uglier than what this city is going through right now
Abigail : The Mayor is on the phone…. What should I tell him
Frank: Put him through….. Mr Mayor….. what can I help you with
Mayor: Your really trying to put my balls in a vice…
Frank: Why would I do that ….. you're a man of your word
Mayor: Look ….. your grandstanding and trying to rub my nose in it …now that everyone has seen this video …. you think you have the upper hand
Frank: That's what you think….. You have your options …. I have mine

Frank: I take that as a badge of honor…. Mr Mayor… by the way the video would be a great PSA ….. if your people were smart enough to use it
With the announcement of the pregnancies at Sunday Dinner and that four new Reagans will enter the fold ….. Erin decides that she will no longer be left out of family matters and calls both Eddie and Maria to have a girls night
Erin: As happy as I was hearing that I will be an aunt to four new Reagans…. I'm pissed at both of you….. Why have you shut me out….. I've been the only woman in this family for the past 5 years and I was thrilled that I would have two sisters to counter a house full of men.
Maria: It wasn't intentional….. everything has been happening so quickly ….. I know I'm trying to understand how to deal with it… Without me as his partner Danny is starting to revert to his hot dog ways and I'm frightened for him and me
Eddie: Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have three kids at once… As hard as Jamie tries to keep me calm ….. I'm starting to blame him for everything….. why am I doing this
Erin: It looks like you two need to blow off some steam….. At least I know what your going through with pregnancy… When I had Nikki ….. Linda was around but she was young and had no idea what I was going through… Jack was being Jack and he started to feel offended that I wasn't paying much attention to him. So you start to find yourself alone and then you look at yourself in the mirror and then you become even more insecure
Eddie: I looked at myself at thought am I going to be as wide as I'm tall…. Three babies …. I'm carrying a liter
Erin and Maria both laugh
Eddie: It's not funny …. I guess it is….. isn't it
Erin: Sometimes you need to laugh at yourself….. these remaining months will be difficult but also rewarding….. especially when you begin to feel that life inside you…. I want to help you as much as I can …. If only you let me
Maria: Eddie and I were both wondering if you had thought about having another child…. We didn't know how you would feel
Erin: being a mother and grandmother at the same time …. I think I would need several drinks to even think about it
Maria: Danny told me that Linda was ready to divorce him when she was having Jack….. I got so mad a Danny for talking to Maggie Gibsin
Erin: If you're not careful ….. you can create problems … I've loved Jack , but I can say I was part of the problem with our divorce… Nikki became everything for me and Jack decided that his needs could be met at other places and the rest is history once the Reagan's couldn't forgive his lapse of judgement
Eddie: We expect them to understand what we're going through….. but can they
Erin: not really….. I was both mother and sister for Jamie after Mom died…. Jamie starts getting quite and non talkative when he is troubled
Eddie: it's good that you're talking to us… I've been treating Jamie kind of shitty and he's starting to do what you've said
Erin: be careful…. If Jamie thinks something is happening … he won't stop until he finds out
Maria: I've waited to long to get Danny that my insecurities might push him away
Erin: The Reagan Men love talking about their Reagan women, but they have their own little quirks….. that we Reagan women need to understand about them….. as strong as they are they can be frightened especially when their family is involved. What I've seen they can get jealous and let their minds go to all kind of crazy places
Eddie: Maybe I need to be more open to Jamie….. I just assume Jamie understands me
Erin: Don't assume anything….. take it from me …. You'll make an ass out of yourself…. Can we do this more often….. we are the Reagan Women.
Eddie: When do the Reagan Men cook for us ….
Erin: Well we have a good leverage point now that both of you are pregnant ….. Next Sunday we will inform them that they need to start taking turns cooking
The three women bid each other goodnight and promise that this will be an on going experience since it was helpful to each of them.
Erin goes home with the thought of what Maria asked her
Jack: did you and your sister in laws have a good time
Erin: It was very informative….. Their hormones are all over the place, causing them undue stress…. Jack ….. How would you feel about having another child
Jack: where is this coming from….. is it because Eddie and Maria are both pregnant and you feel left out
Erin: because of my and your stupidity we missed raising a child together… Nikki turned out fine but how much did she miss by us not being together
Jack: I don't know if I want to risk what we have now to go back in time and repeat what we went through…. Erin we are happy right now…. Do we need that stress….. Quite frankly I would get concern for your health… having a child at your age can be complicated
Erin: I got caught up in the moment…. You're right….. four new Reagan babies will be enough for now… Eddie and Maria are all ready showing signs of stress and paranoia
Jack: If Nikki continues to be serious with this Jimmy guy …. We will be grandparents…. We'll be together , spoil them rotten and then give them back to their parents to undo what we did… we'll have the best of both worlds.
Erin: Come on grandpa show grandma what you still have let left in your bag of tricks…. I do love you Jack Boyle
The bedtime conversation that takes place with Maria and Danny is of a different take than what's been the norm. Maria's concerns now that Danny isn't her partner is brought to the forefront
Maria: Danny…. You know that I love you more than anything…. But what you did this week scares the hell out of me
Danny: What did I do…. Are your hormones acting up
Maria: you know very well what you did… Danny… we are living in a different time ….. you can't be doing what you use to…. You can't put yourself out there without back up
Danny: How did you know that
Maria: I'm still a detective…. Silvie was talking with one of her friends and I picked up on it…. Danny Reagan went rogue and busted up a gang crew that's been terrorizing a neighborhood.
Danny: I had no choice …..Everyone is so afraid to speak and identify these punks …. I had to do something
Maria: No choice….. Danny…. Do you love me….. Do you love our daughter… and you have the balls to say you had no choice… Danny…. I'm so afraid that you love this job more than you love us.
Danny: Don't ever say that….. You and the baby are everything to me
Maria: I'm terrified of raising our daughter by myself because you took some unnecessary chances and got yourself killed….. and don't tell me it can't happen.
Danny: You know me….. sometimes I can't help myself… When you were by my side you controlled those tendencies
Maria: I don't want our Danni to grow up never knowing her daddy…. That should be the only thought when those foolish tendencies get in your head… The Reagan's have lost one son … you cannot be the second one
Danny: Your right, I'm sorry …. I won't let it happen again ….. How long will I be in the dog house
Maria: What are you willing to do …. To get out of it
Danny: Whatever… I'll do it
Maria: Let's take a warm bath and see where it leads us….. I need to calm down first
Maria lays back on Danny's chest as he knows he dodge a real bullet… Maria's Mexican temper was evident tonight. He begins to message her breasts which she immediately tells him to be more gentle in that they have become real sensitive and are getting larger.

Erin…. Seeing that Anthony keeps disappearing becomes inquisitive as to what he is up to and not telling her. She goes to his office and begins looking through his desk to see what he has been hiding when Anthony comes walking in
Anthony: Erin…. What are you doing… are you snooping through my stuff
Erin: I wasn't snooping….. I was trying to find a file… but lately you're never around when I need you
Anthony: Erin ….. don't give me that crap…. What are you looking for
Erin: Anthony….. you're hiding something from me… rest assured I will find what it is
Anthony gets the help he needs in Henry who tells him he will make the call to get what he needs
Sunday dinner comes around and the three Reagan women make an announcement
Erin: Everyone in this room is a Reagan, but when Sunday comes around….. the cooking is left up to the Reagan Women…. Now that my two sisters are carrying the next generation of Reagans … this precedent is changing…. The Reagan men need to start learning how to cook
Frank: You make a valid point….. but remember you will get what you asked for….. so no complaints
Eddie: I won't complain…. Jamie is a better cook than I am
Maria: Danny …. You know I will help you … I don't need you going rogue in the kitchen
Danny: I thought you forgave me for that
Maria: I did…. didn't I
Danny: yes you did
Erin: now that we have that settled … has Anthony approached any of you ….. he has been acting real strange this week
Danny and Jamie: don't look at me ….. I told him I wanted nothing to do with it
Erin: What was it … that he's been so secretive
Frank: Look under your placemat and you'll get your answer
Erin lifts up her plate and placemat and sees what Anthony thinks should happen… A Banner….Erin Reagan for DA
Erin: Are you all in agreement
Jack: Though Anthony didn't approach me ….. but you would make an excellent DA….. This also puts to bed the question of us having another baby…. The timing is perfect since the Reagan Name has become the most trusted name in New York City … especially now
Danny: sis your a pain in the ass but your our pain in the ass ….. you'll bring some fresh air into the DA's office….. your boss is to PC for my liking
Frank: each time they overlooked you because you are a Reagan….. Jack is right the timing is right… Jack ….. it's time you get off your ass and marry my daughter so she doesn't have to explain why she's shacking up with you
Jack: Understood
Henry: The mayor will be besides himself having to worry about two Reagan's in leadership positions at the same time
That night Eddie and Jamie have a conversation that Eddie has been avoiding
Eddie: You know how I've been avoiding and I've been kinda of shitty to you… part of it has been me coming to grips with the triplets…. The other has been, that I took a back seat when you took the Sargents exam and I passed on it…. Because we just got married
Jamie: so these meetings and phone calls has been that….. you want to be a sergeant
Eddie: Jamie…. If I don't do it now ….. I won't be able to do it after the babies are born…. I'm sorry I didn't tell you , but I was afraid you would be upset , especially now with the triplets coming
Jamie: aren't you putting a lot on yourself….. I'm worried that you'll wear yourself out
Eddie: I was counting on you to help me with the exam and then I found a support group that is for Triplet Parents and everything we will be up against… I know it will be hard ….. but I want to do it
Jamie: now that you've mentioned what you want….. I've been thinking about the lieutenants exam… we are going to need more money to raise our kids
Eddie: Nothing has been easy for us… but I wouldn't change a thing… Jamie Reagan you have been the best thing that's ever happened to me and I love you with all my heart. These three babies are going to be more than a handful…. But together we will love them, care for them and make them the kind of Reagan's that will make our family proud.
Jamie wraps his arms around Eddie and begins to message her belly that's starting to show slightly.
Eddie: that feels so good… make the rest of me feel just as good while we still can
Jamie picks up Eddie and brings her to their bed and does as she asks.
The next day Anthony waits in Erin's office with coffee in hand
Erin: Anthony … I don't know what I'm going to do with you
Anthony: You're going to make me your campaign manager and we're going to make you the next DA
Erin: do you really think we can win….. This office is already divided….. can you imagine what this place will be like If I announce
Anthony: No different than what your father doing what he did… A Reagan taking control of a bad situation
Erin: Kimberly is going to be pissed and make our lives hell
Anthony: If she does…. That's further proof she doesn't deserve the job…. She's made some poor judgment calls and now she will be held accountable
Erin: You're sure we can do this….. Where do we get the money….. I don't have that kind of money
Anthony: I'll make some inquiries…. You Reagan's have more friends than you realize
Erin: Remember you will have to adhere to campaign finance rules….. I don't want to be derailed before we even get started
Anthony: So does that mean you are in
Erin: we will test the waters and if we garner the support you think we have, then I'm in.
A couple of weeks have passed and it's once again time for Eddie's and Maria prenatal visits. Eddie and Jamie are especially anxious to determine the sex of their triplets.
Nurse : Eddie …. You know the drill ….. are you ready to see these three
Eddie: Am I ever
Nurse: Again this is going to be a little cold at first …. Let's see if they are ready to show themselves… The heartbeats are very good ….. There is one boy…. Clearly visible….. Let's move this a little more….. There is the second boy….. One more move…. Ah….. there is the third boy
Eddie: Can I see my sons… Jamie ….. three boys
Jamie: This gives My Three Sons a whole new meaning
Nurse: They look like they are developing according to schedule… Like I told you the last time ….. we won't be able to tell if they are identical until child birth as to which if they are all in the same placenta.
Eddie: now we know….. we can now start to see which names we are going to call them… Maria and Danny were lucky…. Their daughter told them what was to be her name… Danni
Nurse: You have to explain that one to me
Eddie: I'll let Maria tell you ….. it's a real cute story
Nurse: everything is well I'll see you next month…. Your going to start seeing some changes… your going to become more sensitive and as they grow your going to get a little uncomfortable
Eddie: We've joined a triplets support group … they've been giving some good heads up so I don't go crazy
Jamie: Yeh… they have been pretty good
Nurse: Good your getting good support information
Eddie and Jamie walk into the waiting room and show their big smiles Maria and Danny : Three boys were having three boys
Nurse: Maria it's your turn …. Anything out of the ordinary…. I should know about
Maria: I've been a little more nauseous, but for the most part , I've been good
Danny: she's been a little sensitive to the touch
Nurse: That's normal at especially this first trimester….. Her body is changing and adapting to that growing little girl….. let's take a look….. she's growing at a very good rate….. she looks really good.
Maria: what were the results of those test you took the last time
Nurse: Everything came back normal….. you don't have anything to worry about
Maria: I feel much better …. I didn't want my age to be a problem for her
Danny: if she is as beautiful as her mother….. what problem could there be
Nurse: Eddie was telling me your baby named herself…. You'll have to explain that to me
Maria: She appeared in a dream to me….. She was handed to me by Danny's late wife who told me that she wanted to meet her mommy and daddy and that her name was Danni
Danny: She then appeared in my dream after our honeymoon and I could see her pretty smile, black hair and those big blue eyes
Nurse: Looks like theses dreams may come true
