Blue Bloods Season 12 episode 3 provides spoilers that once again fit the narrative for the pending narrative of the Reagan Family evolution that is occurring. Lenny Ross ….. Frank Reagan's long time partner and closest friend, unexpectedly arrives with an offer that Frank can't refuse
Abigail: Mr Lenny Ross is here to see you
Frank with an curious thought: Lenny… what a surprise ….. what brings you in town this time
Lenny: Frank ….. Can't I invite my closest friend to dinner… without thinking that I'm scheming something
Frank: Lenny we've known each other so long , I instinctively known that you've got something up your sleeve
Lenny: Look …. Let's go to dinner…. which is on me, of course…just for old times sake
Frank: Delmonico's or Gallagher's
Lenny: Your choice
After Frank and Lenny finish their stakes and drinks at Gallagher's, Frank resumes his inquisition
Frank: Lenny….. time to fess up….. why the visit
Lenny: You know my cousin …. With the Miami Dolphins …. He approached me about approaching you
Frank: Miami is out of my jurisdiction ….I can't help you there
Lenny: It's nothing like that… As your friend this is an offer you need to take seriously
Frank: What offer
Lenny: Frank…. The NFL wants you to be their new Chief of Security…. This is a dream job for you…. The timing couldn't be any better… This war you've started with the Mayor and City Council is not going to end well
Frank: Where would I have to move to
Lenny: From what I understand you would remain in the corporate office here….. and the perks …. You can only imagine what those are…. Will you think about it
Frank: What's in it for you….. some huge head hunter fee
Lenny: Frank….. really…. You're my closest friend…when my cousin asked me….. I thought ….Frank would love this
Frank: Your right… I shouldn't of put it that way… I've never been to a Super Bowl

The Reagan family business has a certain allure that just can't be explained. The Reagan Men find themselves drawn to it. Sean Reagan is no different and set's up a narrative to help him understand it. He goes to Jamie
Sean: Uncle Jamie… I've got a school project that you might be able to help me with
Jamie: What is it
Sean: I wanted to write a paper on two female officers working together and have it come from a man's point of view
Jamie: How can I help you
Sean: I was thinking you could let me ride along with two female partners and I could ask them questions pertinent to the article
Jamie: Ride along….. What does your dad say about that
Sean: He's cool with it
Jamie: if you got his permission I'll talk to my captain and set you up to go with Eddie and Rachel
Eddie and Rachel have a little fun with Sean's questions in that women's preparation for the job is different than men's
Rachel: A woman officer can't just throw on a uniform and be ready… our hair and makeup must just be right…. We always have an image to project
Eddie: Trying to be feminine in a police uniform isn't the easiest to accomplish
Sean: You must of done something right to get Uncle Jamie's attention
Rachel: yah….. how did you get Jamie's attention
Eddie giving Rachel a stern look as they answer the dispatcher's call to a crime scene
Eddie informs Sean not to leave the car while they investigate the scene…. Sean ignores the request once he spots the suspect that was described by the Dispatcher. Sean, being a Reagan begins to follow the suspect only to be stopped with a fist to the eye sending him to the hospital and a black eye for his efforts.
When Danny is notified as to what has taken place he looses his temper and scolds Jamie for being so careless with his son's life
Danny: What the hell is wrong with you letting Sean go on a ride along without my permission
Jamie: He told me you said it was alright
Danny: What kind of father are you going to be with your three sons on the way….. if you didn't even give me the curtesy to check with me
Jamie: I never thought Sean would lie to me….. your right I should of called you, but he is 18
Danny: I don't give a crap how old he is he is still my responsibility….. I'm really disappointed in you and Eddie….. what would you have to say to me if that SOB shot him instead of just hitting him
Jamie: We are both sorry…. It won't ever happen again
Frank's morning up date goes off the rails when he notifies Sid, Garrett and Abigail that he has been offered a job
Frank: I've been offered a job as Chief of Security for the NFL
Garrett: You've been offered hundreds of jobs
Sid: Are you considering it
Frank: Maybe my time is up….. I've done this job so long
Abigail: Stop deflecting….. your considering this because of Erin and her decision to run for DA
Sid: Would you be allowed to bring your own people
Frank: It's a very attractive offer, but I'm conflicted…. I haven't finished what I started
Garrett: The Mayor would be very happy
Abigail: your conflicted because of Erin….. If you stay in office… she may have a harder time to get elected because of being your daughter….. If you are out , then she can run on the platform of Family Legacy to Law and Order…. If you remain…. They will paint the Reagan Family as a monopoly with to much power for one city
Frank: your to smart for your own good
Abigail: Have you talked to Erin about it
Sid: Whatever your decision, we're behind you ….. just imagine all the perks of the NFL
Danny is still fuming over Jamie's and Eddie's decision when he returns home to Maria
Danny: I can't believe those two were so irresponsible… How could they let Sean do that with out telling me
Maria: Eddie called me and told me how bad they both feel….. they got played by Sean ….. you need to calm down… mistakes do happen… you of all people should be able to understand that
Danny: Are you taking their side
Maria: It was an honest mistake….. Look at how mad I got at you for your mistake….. going rogue… Sean is your son …. He went rogue and took advantage of his Aunt and Uncle…Please think… Eddie is pregnant she doesn't need undue stress especially from you
Danny: What if something really bad would have happened
Maria: The Reagan Family business puts everyone on the front line of danger… so don't think like that….. let's have some dinner and we can spend the rest of the night relieving each others stress….. my day was just as stressful….. our daughter is starting to get a little active.
Danny: How active…. Are you having any problems that you're not telling me
Maria: I'm not like you…. I tell you everything… like tomorrow we are going to my mothers for dinner ….. she wants to see for herself how her granddaughter is coming along….. so get ready for some Mexican interrogation

That day Frank kept Abigail's words in mind and went to see Erin to feel her out on what she has decided about her DA run.
Erin decides that She and Jack need to start talking about it and how this would effect both of them.
Erin: Dad came into the office today with a fishing expedition…. He got offered a dream job but he is hesitating because of me
Jack: What job did he get offered this time…. Is this the Mayor's doing just to get him out of his hair
Erin: No this is something Dad would really consider… He was offered the job of Chief of Security for the NFL
Jack: Why is he conflicted
Erin: He would consider taking it if I should decide to run ….. to make it easier for my campaign ….. I told him not to put me in that position….. If I'm going to run it has to be on my own merit and not that I'm Frank Reagan's Daughter
Jack: running on Frank Reagan's coattails in this political climate may not be a bad thing… but I understand where your coming from

Erin: As far as the marriage ceremony I want the family to be there, especially Nikki

Jack: I have a few ideas…. He picks Erin up and carries her to their bedroom
Jack Boyle keeps his word and reaches out to Anthony
Anthony: Jack Boyle why are you calling me… have you pissed off Erin already
Jack: I promised Erin ….. She wants us to get along….. Can we meet and have a face to face … I need to talk to you about some things that are about to happen
Anthony: Where and when
Jack: What's you favorite place for lunch
Anthony: Deluca's Deli at 1:00
Lunch time comes around and Erin asks Anthony to get her something since she can't leave the Office
Jack waits as Anthony enters the Deli
Anthony: Mr Boyle… What do you need to talk to me about… but before we talk let's eat….. This place has the best Italian Subs
Jack and Anthony finish their subs and Jack proceeds with the conversation
Anthony: So what's this all about
Jack: Like I told you on the phone….. I promised Erin to resolve this feud between us….. You're very important to her …. I'm willing to do anything to keep her happy
Anthony: If you don't you'll have me to answer to
Jack: Look…. We've decided to get married again and to prove to her that I've reached out to you….. I want you to be our best man at the ceremony
Anthony: You're shitting me….. you want me to be your best man
Jack: Yes…it's going to be a small ceremony just family …. So what do you say ….. seeing you there will make Erin very happy
Anthony: Erin has agreed to marry you again… If she has forgiven you ….. who am I to hold a grudge… unless you fuck up again
Jack: we both have realized our mistakes especially me….. this time it will last….. Erin has been the only woman I've ever loved
Anthony: When is this happening… by the way have the rest of the Reagan's forgiven you
Jack: It was Frank that said the shacking up needed to be taken off the table if Erin want's the DA job… It will be a week from Saturday
Anthony: I need to bring your wife some lunch….. you want to write a little note for her to show you kept your promise
As Anthony returns to the office
Erin: What took you so long… I'm starving
Anthony: So when were you gonna tell me
Erin: Tell you what
Anthony: read the note from your husband… are you really happy this time
Erin smiles
Garrett walks into Frank's office
Garrett: I just got an inquiry from the Mayor's office…. They're wanting to know if this job offer is true and if you're really considering it
Frank: I'm sure the mayor is salivating at the thought….. how did they find out
Garrett: It wasn't me….. I want to come with you …. If you decide to take the job
Frank: keep them guessing…..let's see how bad they want me to leave
Garrett: So you want to play with them some more
Frank: we need to have some fun on this job… Play dumb … tell them you know nothing about it ….since I'm not talking
Garrett: When will you decide
Frank needs to talk with his father first… That night that conversation comes about
Henry: Francis…..Are you still conflicted about this job offer
Frank: Pop…. It would be a great job…. but….. I've got this aching feeling that I'm running away from a fight that I haven't finished yet
Henry: running away….. you've been on this job longer than I did….. you've given everything to this job….. so you can't use that excuse… are you ready to leave or are you not….. if you're not tell yourself that and be done with it… there will come a time when you will know that you no longer want to do this anymore…. Just me….. when that time came to me… I knew… no one had to tell me to leave
Frank: So you knew when it was over
Henry: Walking away was easy for me… I no longer wanted to do that job… you're my son ….. do you still want to do this job….. If you do ….. you have your answer
The next morning Lenny Ross comes to Frank's office
Lenny: So
Frank: So….. I've been going back and forth…. I could be be selfish take the big salary and all the perks ….. bring my people with me ….. go to the Super Bowl
Lenny: Be selfish… you've earned it… but I'm getting the feeling that I'm loosing a bet with myself
Frank: What was the bet
Lenny: that you would be at the Commissioner's box with 33 bosses and the Commissioner, but it's not you
Frank: I haven't had enough of this job ….. Thanks Lenny
Lenny: What can I say….. Partner's for Life
Frank: Partners for life
Lenny leaves Abigail walks in
Abigail: we're back to normal
Frank: we're back to normal….. you knew it ….. didn't you
Abigail smiles and goes back to her desk
Erin gets a call from Eddie
Eddie: Erin…. When were you gonna tell us
Erin: How did you find out so fast
Eddie: I was craving an Italian Sub and Rachel got one from Deluca's when she over heard Anthony and Jack talking and off course she heard about the wedding in a week ….. being my partner… she told me
Erin: we can't have a repeat of the last time…. This has to be quiet and simple…. I can't have any bad headlines
Eddie: I'll call Maria….. It will be simple , but the Reagan women need to have a girl's night….. let's do it at my place….. I'll send Jamie to his dad's.
The Reagan women meets a Eddie's place while Jamie and Danny spend the night with Frank and Henry
