Maria calls Eddie
Maria: Eddie….. Danny is working a double homicide with Anthony….. Can you come with me for Danni's check up … I hate it when I'm alone
Eddie: Of course I will ….. these three have been keeping up at night… I'll have them take a look also…. It's good we have each other….. Jamie has been having some staffing problems with a new cop…. He almost wishes I was still on duty so he could stick him on me and I would take care of his problem. He pisses me off when he says that
Maria: Jamie loves and trusts you more than anyone….
Eddie: but it doesn't give him the right to take advantage of me
Maria: The boys giving you that much trouble
Eddie: I don't think they realize that there isn't that much room in there… when they start moving my stomach takes a beating….. it's all Jamie's fault
Maria: like you didn't having anything to do with it
Eddie: Oh….when is the appointment
The Nurse at the pediatricians office calls Maria and Eddie follows
Nurse: So how have you been….. any concerns that I should be aware of
Maria: No…. Danni has been real good….. she moves a lot….. she takes after her daddy
Nurse: that's normal….. she growing at her normal pace… before we go to the sonogram….. I need to inform you that we now have the ability to see a color photo of your baby… here is a sample
Maria: Eddie look at this….. it's a real baby
Eddie: I want one of those….. I have to see what my three are doing in there
Nurse: There is an extra charge for those
Maria: This is worth it….. I can show Danny what our Danni looks like
At the commissioner's morning briefing Garrett starts ( Spoilers from Season 12 Episode 8 - Reality Check)
Garrett: The organization is called POP….. that's short for Patrons of Police … they have a strong support and surging membership from cops all across the country. Their founder is a former NYPD Detective ….. Kurt Quinn
Frank : I remember him
Garrett: However, their communications make it look like you founded it and you run it… they've harvested footage and audio of you on the record over the past decade….. making it look like you are front and center of their cause
Frank: I take it we're not talking about a haircut here
Garrett: Your face….. your voice…. Their inflammatory context
Abigail: But it's things he's actually said…. Footage of him saying it
Garrett: yes…. But you talking about broken windows policing ….. playing over footage of a mob smashing plate glass windows in Portland Oregon
Frank: That's not right
Garrett: No …. But it is their right… public statements on the record are in the public domain
Abigail: Sounds like identity theft
Garrett: Pretty much….. minus the legal recourse
Sid : We can't sue for defamation or something
Garrett: Everything Frank said is public….. we don't own it
Frank: Shut it down
Garrett: it's not that simple

Garrett: you come out against them….. it's gonna piss off a whole lot of cops across the nation
Abigail: So he's suppose to do what exactly
Garrett: Nothing… let it blow over
Frank : if there's nothing we can do ….. why'd you bring it up in the first place

Frank: Make a statement … I got nothing to do with Quinn or his group
Garrett: we shouldn't engage it's a can of worms

With the excitement of seeing actual images of their babies Maria and Eddie decide to go to lunch and then head to Erin's new campaign headquarters to offer their help. Erin waves them to come in
Erin: what's up with you two… your like a cat that's swallowed a canary
Eddie: you've gotta see these… Eddie and Maria show the color images of the new Reagans that will be entering the world in several months
Erin: look at them… Eddie how are you able to carry them… look at all of Danni's black hair ….. good thing she take's after you Maria
Eddie: how can we help ….. before our big days
Erin: Give me some advise first…. I was talking to our campaign strategist….. she think's I have an image problem….. she actually said I'm like a cold fish… Am I really like that
Eddie: put a few drinks in you and your the life of the party
Maria: You're by the book…. There is no grey matter….. Danny would get so upset at you for being like that….. if people where to see the Erin at Sunday Dinner that image problem wouldn't be a problem
Eddie: Maria , just solved your problem… we are a family…. We laugh together, we fight together…. We stay together… Maria….. we got our new assignment
Erin: What are you going to do
Maria: we are a family of cops ….. Eddie and I need something to distract us
Erin: please I don't want to be embarrassed

Maria waits for Danny so that she can show him Danni's first picture
Maria: Hello sweetheart… how was your day….Do you miss me not being with you on these cases
Danny leans to give his wife a kiss…. : this is the best part of my day…. By the way Anthony is not you…. He is crazier than I am… He about killed his cousin when he heard that he stole money from his grandmother… you always kept me in check….. he and I are like a wrecking ball destroying everything in our way
Maria: I've got something to show you that should make up for your bad day… Danny….. would you like to see your daughter
Danny: you didn't give birth and I wasn't there
Maria: don't be silly….. it's still to early….. Danny look… look at what our daughter looks like…..Maria shows Danny the colored sonogram photo and tears begin to flow from Danny's eyes
Danny: that's really her….. look at all that hair….. she has that same smile … why are her eyes closed… she's alright isn't she
Maria: she's fine and growing according to schedule….. isn't she beautiful
Danny: she is as beautiful as her mother… this was a pleasant surprise… I love you so much
Maria: after dinner ….. you want to relax in the tub….. I miss being next to you….. who knows you might get lucky tonight.
Frank has a conversation with Henry concerning the box that Kurt Quinn put him with this POP narrative
Frank: Pop you've seen these new police adds….. haven't you
Henry: I thought it was part of the campaign to stick it to the Mayor….. When did you get involved in it
Frank: I'm not… This Patrons of Police is the brainchild of a former NYPD detective that using my image to promote his platform
Henry: what are you going to do about it
Frank: what would yo do if it was you
Henry: I don't think you would like my answer… Francis… you've never been one to be set up….. it's time you find out what this character is really up to and why….. your still the top cop
The Reagan's have been making news lately and Kelly Davidson is once again at Abigail's desk asking to see the Commissioner
Abigail: Guess who wants to see you
Frank: Baker….. is this fifty questions to get an answer
Abigail: Miss Davidson is here and wants a response to recent headlines
Frank: Another trying to box me in… Send her in
Kelly: Frank you've been avoiding me… why is that
Frank: I'm not avoiding you….. why should I …. I have no comments
Kelly: Frank…. First you declare war on the Mayor….. Now your daughter announces her run for DA and your involvement in POP …..the people have the right to know what you are doing and why
Frank: Kelly….. Miss Davidson…. Learn to do your homework before jumping to conclusions…. I swear journalist today have lost what they were placed to do today… they run after headlines trying to create a narrative. I don't operate that way
Kelly: Frank… I'm not your enemy….. I'm just trying to do my job… give me a break
Frank: What are you willing to do to get that break
Kelly's face shows her surprise at that question
Frank: let me rephrase that … you've seen these POP adds show me where I was involved in any of it….. you so called journalist discovered this new art form ….. it should be easy for you to convince the public
Kelly: so if I kill that campaign ….. we will have dinner and a one on one interview and you will answer whatever questions I have
Frank: Being a good journalist means reporting the truth….. prove to me that you are that kind of journalist
Kelly: You know that I'm good… I need to regain your trust… you're on… This Kurt Quinn won't know what rolled over him…. You will keep your word

Kelly leaves and Abigail walks in
Abigail: you're playing with fire again are you going to let her burn you
Frank: you're listening again… what is it … what do you think she is going to do to me…. I don't get it… look if it will make you feel better…. You check her out completely….. get to know her better than she knows herself and then let me know what I need to know before we meet…. Does that make you feel better
Abigail: I know what you're doing…. But she's a real snake….. I will find out everything you kneed to know
Frank: when this is all over… we are going to have that talk that you think we shouldn't have… it's long over due
Abigail now worries that she pushed to hard on this subject …. The cats out of the bag
Garrett walks in: Have you decided how we are going to handle Kurt Quinn and this unneeded publicity.
Frank: It's being handled as we speak… OnePP won't be involved … trust me
Garrett: how exactly…. You're not going to tell me are you
Frank: Everyone has been trying to put words in my mouth… Now it's my turn to act without saying a word
Garrett leaves and asks Abigail : Do you know what he is planning
Abigail with that look answers with her eyes: Do you think I would tell you even if I did know
Garrett goes to Sid's office: Frank is planning something and isn't telling us…. Abigail knows but she ain't talking…. We need to find out everything about Kurt Quinn so that we can use it against him if need too
Sid: there has been talk that when he got shot… things didn't go down the way it's been recorded
Garrett: get the exact record….. make sure we have it
Sunday dinner has arrived and the big topic of conversation is the baby pictures
Henry: I never thought I would live long enough to see great grandchildren… these four look like the next generation of Reagan's will be in good hands
Frank: look at them ….. you can see then clear as day… Eddie….. Maria… you've made this family proud
Eddie: I've met my quota… these three are giving me a run for my money
Jamie: all three of them will be mommas's boys
Eddie: after what they've put me through who else would they be
Henry: spoken like a true Reagan woman
Frank: A true Reagan woman… Erin …..how's the campaign going
Erin: Well ….. I don't know….. I was told that I was all work and no play… makes Erin a dull girl …. Am I as dull as what they say
Jack: she's got this stuck in her head ….. I tried to get her to forget about it… but it's logged in.
Henry: I think it's time for some home videos … Erin with three brothers you learned early to not let anyone step all over you….. Danny got the bruises to prove it
Danny: As much as you piss me off …. Your hard line stances have made me a better cop….. don't let anyone make you doubt that….. you've got what it takes, especially after this politically correct dweeb that you presently work for.
As the family watches old home movies Eddie comments
Eddie: This is what I was talking about … Erin we are going to make a montage of who Erin Reagan Boyle really is… Let those silly ass strategist take a lesson.
Erin: I've got a family like no other
Kelly Davidson has completed her task and brings a preview tape to Franks office
Abigail: Miss Davison is here to see you
Frank: Let her in….. Get Sid and Garrett along with yourself….. I want your input on what we are about to see.
Kelly: Let me just say I did't perceive what got assembled on this tape….. I've learned a valuable lesson not only for myself ….. but to those that will see it… Imaging is whatever anyone wants to make of it… The techniques of cut and paste can achieve any desired results….. just like polling data ….. it's all in the questions that are asked and how they asked. Kurt Quinn took the words and looks of Frank Reagan and turned it to his narrative and has gained a great following along with enormous financial gains from those that sympathize with the cause.
Public Officials though they are protected by what they say can be manipulated by their very words taken out of context….. it's a ploy that is often used in political games and political conflict. It takes a real leader to find away in combatting the many mis fabrications of stories and events . People today are no longer able to clarify what is real and what is not. Frank Reagan is such a leader that will not let anyone put words or ideas that are not his into the political arena.
Garrett: I must say Miss Davidson …. You achieved what I thought was an impossibility…. I thought I knew my boss but once again he knows how to get things done
Sid: Does this mean Kurt Quinn will be put on the spot for how he did this.
Kelly: his credibility comes into play and I doubt sponsors will want to throw good money into bad
Abigail: Now if you could do this with all your stories…. Especially the next one on the commissioner

Sid, Garrett and Abigail leave Frank's office
Kelly: Did I deliver… where will you take me to dinner and I will have your undivided attention
Frank: Delmonico's satisfactory for you….. You will have my undivided attention… but I need to ask what are you hoping to achieve…. Our time has past there is no turning back the clock….. especially at my age
Kelly: Dinner and conversation with the one that got away, plus a story that my producer wants bragging rights to
Frank keeps his word and meets Kelly Davidson at Delmonicos.
Kelly arrives dressed with the intention to seduce her former lover
Frank: You made it….. you look fabulous but you always do
Kelly: your still the gentleman that you always were
Waiter comes up and asks what they would like to drink
Frank: Bourbon….. White Chardonnay still your drink of choice
Kelly: You haven't forgotten
Frank: Somethings you never forget
Waiter brings the drinks
Kelly: can we toast to old times and new beginnings….. Frank Simply smiles
Kelly: You know me… I never hold back… Your girl Friday ….. she really doesn't like me … is there something between you two
Frank: Abigail…. Abigail is like a second daughter… she's married and has two boys…. I trust her implicitly and lets be real I'm older than her father
Kelly: Frank Reagan when it comes to women you can't see what is staring you in the face…. Whether she has a daddy fetish , but that girl is into you more than you realize
Frank: why are you bringing this up
Kelly: I'm a investigative journalist….. I see what I see and I have to get background information for the story
Frank: This interview ends now if you even hint at such a speculation
Kelly: sorry… I didn't think that would be a sensitive subject….. you didn't mind having a relation with me even though I'm slightly older

Waiter comes back
Waiter: are you ready to order… Madam what can I get for you
Kelly: I'll have the Salmon…. With mixed vegetables
Waiter: Commissioner….. what would you like….. your usual
Frank: That would be fine….. bring us some more drinks
Kelly: You're still a creature of habit ….. your likes don't change over time
Frank: some people think that change is good….. not all changes are…. Everyone needs a foundation to keep them stable and strong
Kelly: that's what I've always admired about you….. you know yourself and no one can change who you are
Frank: Look at all the things that have changed since we last saw each other….. your profession is un recognizable…. Cops have become the villains and criminals are the victims…. Feelings overrule facts… it's as though we are living in an opposite universe where right is wrong and wrong is right
Kelly: Is that why you started this war with City Hall
Frank: Let's be clear….. I didn't start any war….. when politicians stick their finger to the wind and pass laws accordingly… society cannot survive without law and order…Politicians have started this planned undermining of society. Chaos allows better control of the masses. I'm simply trying to restore common sense which has vacated the halls of City Hall.
Kelly: You blame Mayor Peter Chase for your actions
Frank: Don't put words in my mouth…. Mayor Chase got elected with good intentions to restore law and order… after he got pounded by some misguided council men and women that got elected on this wave of change ….. he decided it was easier to join them than fight them…. He's become a typical politician whose promises mean nothing.
Kelly: What are you hoping to achieve… let's face it your national news because of what you have done
Frank: what have I done other than say the common sense must be restored… the majority of people want a safe city to live in…. Be allowed to work and raise their families the way they want to… yet that isn't what some deem proper… I've been on this earth for three quarters of a century… I've seen many cycles of pandering this is one of those cycles
Kelly: you believe that you will prevail
Waiter brings their meal and the conversation turns more personal
Kelly: I understand you will be a grandfather again
Frank: Some changes that have been good… we got to see actual images of the new Reagans….. Eddie is expecting triplets... three boys and Maria is expecting a little girl
Kelly: Are you ever going to give up this job
Frank: Everything comes to an end ….. My father did this job for ten years….. I've now been at it for fifteen … My time is coming to an end but I promised myself that I wouldn't leave it in the mess that it's in
Kelly: you never remarried Frank: I can ask you the same….. Why haven't you married
Kelly: I actually did marry… twice…. You kind of spoiled all men in my eyes…. There is only one Frank Reagan….. I regret that I made my job more important than you….. I've learned to live with my regrets.
