Seeing is believing …. Maria has wanted to be a mother as long as she can remember… and for Danny to be the father is a dream come true. After seeing Danni's picture, Maria begins to worry that this world she is bringing their daughter into is not what she thought it would. Her doubts and worry is clearly evident and Danny begins questioning his wife
Danny: what's going on with you….. I thought you would be the happiest person in the world like I was after seeing Danni… what's troubling you
Maria: Danny seeing our baby was one of the happiest days of my life…. But then reality set in …. Look at what we are bringing her into…. How will we be able to protect her from all this craziness that has come about… when it was just you and me….. we had each others back
Danny: your experiencing motherhood jitters….. it's normal… Linda went through the same thing when Jack was about to be born…. All the carnage that she would see in the E R affected her… This job has made us see things that most humans will never see…. Yet we deal with it. Look Jack and Sean are men now….. they made it … Our Danni will make it also…. You'll be a great mother… this undue stress isn't good for either of you
Maria: I'm so glad I have you…. What do you think her life will be like

Several days pass Eddie calls Maria and explains what Jamie's concerns about Henry and asks if she would go along with her.
Eddie and Maria enter the Reagan house and find Henry cooking in the Kitchen. They both approach and give Henry a welcome kiss on the cheek
Henry: this is an unexpected surprise… Did your husbands put you up to this
Eddie: Why would you say that….. Maria and I have been talking …..now that we will be bringing four new Reagans into the world… we really don't know that much of the family history…. Who better than you to tell us….. let your great grandchildren hear from you

Henry: Looks like you two have your hands full…. What did you want to know of the family tree….. how far back do you want to go
Maria: I was just telling Danny how worried I am in bringing Danni into a world where everything is so upside down… how was it when you where growing up
Henry: Everyone thinks their time on this earth is different than before….. but that's not the case… I was born and raised during the roaring twenties….. gangs, bootlegging, crime was all around you…. You didn't have the internet or those dam cell phones that show everything in a moments notice, but back then…. Bombs were going off on local streets …. Gangsters weren't afraid to assassinate their rivals in broad daylight….. politicians were as crooked as they come… not much different than today.
Eddie: so nothing has changed…. Except for how we see it
Henry: these little ones that you're carrying will see different versions of the same old thing…. Who can get away without getting caught….. criminals are criminals….. if they break the law they should get punished….. problem today and in the future will be those that make the laws may be the biggest head ache for society….. in my day a little brute force went along way in keeping law and order….. today it's different….. you're not allowed to hurt anyone's feelings.
Maria: When did we become the bad guys… Until I married Danny the only thing I had was the job and I was starting to hate it because of the treatment we received. People today find videoing cops doing their job the new pastime in trying to show police brutality
Henry: Those bellying clubs got more use in my day… a few cracked heads got everyone's attention and respect….. today there is no respect whether for each other and especially for cops. I almost feel sorry for the cops today….. they almost need a degree in psychology to understand the situations they are thrown into every day
Eddie: I lost a partner because she couldn't handle the shit …. Sorry Pops

Frank: It's been a while since we did this…. So what's troubling you
Abigail: I thought Brian was working everything out after that last episode….. he was going to counseling…then I started noticing some subtle changes… he has been coming home later... not talkative...almost distancing himself
Waiter comes up and asks for their drink order… Franks has his bourbon ….. Abigail has a glass of Bordeaux
Frank: Is he coming home later because of work or something else
Abigail: You mean he has found someone else….. I don't know….. My instincts are telling me he is giving up on us
Frank: How do you feel about that….. Have you given up on him
Abigail: I don't know if I can answer that….. we have drifted apart… part of it is me…. I know that
Waiter brings their drinks and asks if they are ready to order
Abigail: I'll have the fillet with mashed potatoes and mushrooms
Frank: Give me the Sirloin strip steak with a baked potato, Green beans and Caesars Salad
Frank: Do you still love him
Abigail: I will always love him… Am I still in love with him as a wife should be….. That I can't give a definitive answer
Frank: I don't want you throwing your drink in my face… but I need to ask this…. Have you found someone else
Abigail: Would I do that… If you are asking am I seeing someone… the answer is no … however I would be lying if I said I didn't think of someone else…. I've said to much…. Let's not continue with this…. I'm not ready to answer ….. So what happened with Miss Davidson
Frank: I'll cut you some slack….. We actually had a very good conversation … I answered her questions as to why I m doing what I'm doing …. Hopefully her editors will write the truth. Her Expose did put a damper on the POP narrative. So all in all it turned out to be a productive meeting
Abigail: How productive….. did you sleep with her again
Frank: That's my Abigail… No I didn't sleep with her …. I made it perfectly clear that ship sailed long ago… Did you know she was married twice since me

Frank: No …. I wanted to be surprised as to how far she was willing to go to get a story

The Waiter brings their meal and Frank begins to notice that look in Abigail's eyes that he has seen so many times before but never understood what was behind it. His thoughts now went to what Kelly Davidson was telling him…. He is the one Abigail is thinking of. After Dinner Frank walks Abigail to her car
Frank: Are you going to be all right
Abigail: I'll be fine… however….. I need you to make me a promise… you won't go talk to Brian again… I don't want you involved with this… it will be bad for both of us … I don't want to admit to what I first need to admit to myself
Frank: Enough said…. Be careful driving home
Abigail drives off as her eyes begin to fill with tears … she finds herself in a no win situation and for the first time in her life she doesn't know what to do next.
Frank arrives home he finds a different Henry sitting and waiting.
Henry: You know Francis... your two sons … my grandsons have married two amazing women… both of them came by today and we had the most pleasant visit…. Those two girls are going to make the next generation of Reagans the best yet
Frank with a smile on his face: What did Maria and Eddie do that got your attention
Henry: They showed interest in our past which hopefully they will pass it on to their children when we are gone… history is always the best teacher
Frank: we have been blessed….. we have all had the right partner by our side during the right times in our lives… Danny has been fortunate to have found two such partners in his life… Maria took his grief and turned into love and hope. Eddie is not only a blessing to Jamie but to all of us she is a surprise a minute…. Pop… I'm glad they help change your mood ….. I was getting worried that you were starting to give up … we still have more to do.
Henry: how was your date
Frank: It wasn't a date….. Abigail is going through a difficult time and I let her talk
Henry: If I was 60 years younger I would have to go after that one….. she is some kind of woman
Frank: she is special….. her dip shit husband can't appreciate what he has

Frank: Normally I would, but Abigail made me promise not to get involved…. Pop did you ever experience someone having a crush on you because of the job

Amy hasn't left Joe's side throughout his recovery…. Joe finally admits to himself that his life requires that Amy be in it … It's time Amy meets Paula Hill his mom
