Anthony and Jack are prepping Erin for the pending debate with Kimberly Crawford
Jack: I've gone back and got the questions that were posed at the last debate….. this will give us a feel as to the types of questions that will be asked…. Anthony you'll be DA Crawford… Erin you be yourself…. I'll be the interviewer
Anthony: You want me to think like her…. And answer like her
Erin: you know how she is going to after me….. my weaknesses
Anthony: this should be fun
Jack: Each of you will have 2 minutes to answer the questions ask and one minute for a rebuttal ….. please keep it within that time frame … DA Crawford….. What is the Cities biggest problem and what do you intend to do about it
Anthony: Let me think how the DA thinks…. I got it… The NYPD under Commissioner Reagan has allowed the city to loose control ….. the minority communities are under assault…. Disadvantage are being subjected to undue harassment….. I will try to have stricter regulations on how our citizens will be treated by the police
Jack: Miss Reagan … you have one minute to respond
Erin: Less policing means less crime….Under DA Crawfords appointed time… The City's murder rate has doubled in the minority communities, that's a policing problem….. less cops is DA Crawfords solution
Anthony: I didn't say that…. We need smarter and better trained police officers to deal with the problems in the minority communities
Jack: Miss Reagan… you have been an Assistant District Attorney for a very long time why were you overlooked and DA Crawford appointed
Erin: That's a question that needs to be asked to the Governor… I just do my job to the best of my abilities
Anthony: This is a good one…. The Reagan's have a monopoly on this city….. too much power is not good for any family
Jack: DA Crawford….. recently you were a witness to a cold case opened by Miss Reagan …. Why didn't you come forward sooner and do you believe justice was prevailed with the innocent verdict
Anthony: Since I was a child when the crime occurred and not the DA ….. the defendant had suffered enough ….. Prosecutor Reagan thought otherwise … sometimes it's better to leave well enough alone
Jack: Miss Reagan you have one minute to respond
Erin: Selective prosecutions of criminals shouldn't be how the DA's office should administer its duties…. That's where the prosecutor's office finds itself today….. Kimberly Crawford whether through her own initiative or her superiors….. criminals have more rights than the victims….. this is the clear distinction between myself and the current District Attorney
Jack: This is a good beginning…..Anthony…. Can you find video tapes of Crawford speaking to the press … Erin you're going to have to understand her mannerism to anticipate what's going to come out of her mouth
Anthony: Beat her at her own game… everyone knows she is going to make the Reagan Name her reason to be elected… you have to show where would the city be without the Reagans
Erin: if anything ….. I'm glad that you two are finally able to work together… for awhile I didn't think that would be possible
Jack: I've come to realize Anthony always has your best interest… I shouldn't have been upset about that
Anthony: as long as you make each other happy ….. I'm happy….. now we have to beat the crap out of this DA…. They should have never skipped over you
With Maria's due date only a couple months away… her thoughts are on preparing the babies room…. She doesn't want to wait till the last minute…. She calls Danny to see if he can meet her to pick out baby furniture
Maria: Danny…. Sweetheart can you break away for lunch so we can see the baby furniture I've been looking at
Danny: Whatever you pick I'm fine with it….
Maria: Danny Reagan… We made this baby together and together we are going to decide what our Danni needs. Is the job or Danni more important
Danny knows he doesn't want to upset Maria: Where do you want to meet….. Forget that…. I'll pick you up ….. your 7 months pregnant
Maria: Let's have lunch first so you won't be so grumpy when we see the furniture
Maria has been very excited about picking the right furniture for their baby
Maria: Danny…. I know your not that interested in picking out this furniture, but I never had that when I was a baby….. I slept in what ever my dad could find ….. Our baby is not going to experience that….. I want every night to be like a fairy tale
Danny: Show me what you had in mind
Maria asks the sells rep to show them the Evolur Aurora Nursery Collection
Maria: Danny…. What do you think…. Isn't it so pretty
Danny: It's very pretty ….. is this what you want
Maria: Yes…. Our Danni will have many sweet dreams in this crib….. with the right accents ….. it will be a dream land for her… Thank you sweetheart
Danny: you're happy…..I'm happy
After Danny drops Maria off... she calls Eddie
Maria: Hi Eddie…I finally got Danny to come with me to pick out the baby furniture….. it's so pretty
Eddie: I was thinking the same thing…..Now you have given me the means to get Jamie to do the same thing….. We have to get three cribs ….. three car seats, and most importantly a SUV…. none of this pregnancy has been simple….. a stroller for three ….. that's going to be something… tell me the store you went … what did you have to do to get Danny to agree
Maria: I told him we made the baby together….. we decide together… He got the message
Eddie: When is it being delivered… Jamie will get the message after seeing it ….. as great as the Reagan Men are they do need that little shove to get what we want.
Before the Morning briefings Sid and Garrett talk
Garrett: Do you know why Frank took Abigail to Dinner and didn't invite us
Sid: Abigail hasn't been her usual self….. something's up … The Boss is maybe trying to get her to open up
Garrett: I hope it isn't Brian again…. She'll be a bear if there's trouble in paradise
Sid: I've been keeping tabs on him… It's not the job …. Maybe when she's ready she'll tell us
Frank asks Abigail to come in before Sid and Garrett to join them
Frank: It's becoming obvious things aren't going well do you need to talk
Abigail: Sir…. Thank you for your concern… but….. Like I told you at dinner I'm not quite ready to say anymore … Brian and I are talking … when the time comes that we are done talking…. Then what needs to be done will be done
Frank: how are the boys taking it
Abigail: We've both been trying not to show anything…. But they are sensing something….. there not small boys anymore
Frank: Like Sid and Garrett
Abigail: You noticed them too… Please don't say anything … I'll try to be better at how I'm appearing
Eddie talks to Jamie concerning the triplets arrival
Eddie: Jamie….. we've done every thing we were suppose to do to get to this point….. but are we ready for what's in front of us
Jamie: what are you worried about… I've been doing research too… I know how hard it's going to be on you physically… but I promise ….. I'll be with you….. the biggest thing is you getting plenty of rest and not trying to over do it
Eddie: I use to think Maria would have her baby first, but because we're having triplets we may have them sooner…. Triplets arrive within 32 - weeks …. Can't put off getting the nursery ready….. did you see the checklist of things we are going to need multiplied by three
Jamie: we don't have to buy everything at once, but we will get those that are needed for when we bring the babies home
Eddie: What will we do if they aren't ready to come home and they have to stay in the hospital
Jamie: we'll cross that bridge when and if that should happen ….. your doctor has said you've done everything you're suppose to so don't stress yourself that something is going to go wrong….. let's make the checklist of things we definitely need and I'll go get them
Eddie: As long as I'm able to walk I'm coming with you ….. I want to pick out the nursery items … the Bassinetts, Cribs , Stroller…. I definitely want to see how I will manage that. Car seats… Jamie both of our cars aren't suitable for triplets….. Let's trade in my convertible for a SUV that can hold three car seats
Jamie: you loved that car….. I'll sell mine….. I don't need a muscle car any longer
Eddie: both of our cars aren't triplet friendly
Jamie: Let's get one first that you like
Eddie: Like a Semi…. Look at all the things we are going to need….. cases of diapers….bouncy seats… baby swings… a diaper bag the size of a suit case
Jamie: Remember what the doctor said… make checklist ….. we are not the first to have triplets … We'll make it work
Eddie: it's easy for you to say…. I've got two huge boobs and three boys ….. how's that going to work
Jamie: your boobs are great
Eddie: don't even think about it ….. but that are great are they….. some women would pay a lot of money to have them
Jamie: I know this is over whelming…. Three boys at once….. think on the bright side …. Being a beat cop prepared you for them
Eddie: very funny… you like being sucked dry…. Having to clean up pee and shit all day or being thrown up on
Jamie: but then seeing those chubby cheeks and those smiling faces makes it all worth while
Eddie: come here play with my boobs and caress my belly so that your sons can feel how much mommy and daddy loved them. We will worry about all the other things we will need starting tomorrow
Joe and Amy visit Father Quinn
Joe: Thank you for seeing us on such a short notice
Father Quinn: your the newest Reagan… how can I help you
Amy: Father….. you made such an impression on us at Danny's and Maria's wedding ….. we were wondering if you can marry us also
Father Quinn: I'm getting up in years… what exactly impressed you
Amy: your Friends with Benefits speech….. that actually brought Joe and I closer together and now we want to get married
Father Quinn: I'll have to remember that one….. When are you planning on this happening
Joe: As soon as possible
Father Quinn: Is their a reason for the sudden rush… have the benefits shown themselves
Joe: no we are not pregnant….. We are kinda living together….. as my Uncle Danny said ….. if your not willing to commit … why are you risking it
Father Quinn: Bad ass Danny Reagan is still one of my favorite choir boys….. I'm going to have to remember that one also…. How soon
Joe: We want to start the year as husband and wife if that's possible
Father Quinn: With New Years day falling on a Saturday this year…. We are all booked up… how about Sunday….. The Reagans haven't missed a Sunday Mass as long as I can remember… I can perform the ceremony right after Mass is over
Joe and Amy look to each other: That works for us
Joe: I'll tell grandpa and he can make sure everyone is their
Amy: My family will like the idea of killing two birds with one stone…. One Mass instead of two
Father Quinn: who is your family Amy
Amy: I'm the daughter of John Sullivan… do you know him
Father Quinn: another cop family….. now I understand the attraction …. Remember you have a short window to get blood tests and a marriage license… with both of your family's connections you shouldn't have any problems. I will pencil you in for January 2, 2022 at 12:30
After leaving Father Quinn Joe and Amy head to the commissioner's office
Abigail: Officer Reagan….. is the Commissioner expecting you
Joe: no….. we have something important to talk to him about….. any chance he could see us
Abigail: Sir… your grandson Joe and guest would like to speak with you…. He says it's important
Frank with a surprise look on his face: Let them in
Frank: This is unexpected….. Amy welcome …. What can I do for you
Joe: Can you make sure everyone is at the Sunday Mass on January 2
Frank: Why…. We are always at that Mass
Joe: Father Quinn has agreed to marry us after Mass
Amy: my family has agreed to be there
Frank: Does your mother know
Joe: we had her over for dinner and she got to meet Amy….. she's ok with it
Frank goes to Amy and gives her a hug and kiss on the cheek: Welcome to the family…. I was waiting till he got around to this….. I knew from the first time I met you that you were right for him
Amy: thank you sir
Frank: call me grandpa…. You're my granddaughter now…. I'll expect both of you at Sunday Dinner to share the good news with everyone….. again congratulations
As Joe and Amy leave Abigail walks in
Abigail: You're smiling… they brought you good news
Frank: My grandson is getting married
Abigail: Amy seems to be a sweet girl … she should fit right in… especially since she comes from a cop family
Frank: that she is….. If only my son Joe could have had the chance to see this
Sunday Dinner
Danny: Nephew… Second time for Amy….. is there something your going to tell us
Maria: Danny… behave….. Amy welcome…
Frank: Joe and Amy came to see me …. Joe …. Amy ….. the floor is yours
Joe: Uncle Danny… your right ….. we have something very important to say
Amy: we don't want anyone to miss Sunday Mass on January 2
Henry: Even if the Giants are playing we still wouldn't miss Mass
Joe: The Giants game will have to wait …. Father Quinn has agreed to marry us after mass
Eddie: It's about time… Amy… another pair of arms will come in handy
Erin: looks like the four babies will all have place holders… Congratulations you two… Amy thank you for all your help at the campaign office
Amy: It's been fun
Erin: Fun isn't the word I would use….. this has been quite a learning experience
Jack: that's why you will be a great DA… your not afraid to learn
Frank: Will Nikki make it back for Christmas
Erin: she says she and Jimmy will be here… I'm thinking they to are going to surprise us …. Jimmy has been her longest boyfriend
Jack: I don't know if I'm ready for this kind of surprise
Danny: It was like yesterday when the kids where running around having a good old time
Maria: soon there will be four more running around… Jack is also bringing Sandy ….. Danny … we may be getting another surprise also
Danny: Did he tell you something I don't know about
Henry: Francis this is going to be a memorable Christmas
