The past six weeks have seen the highs and lows for Abigail Baker after she and Brian officially decided to end their 15 year marriage. Today was no exception Jack Boyle enters One PP and goes to Abigail's desk
Jack: Abbey…. Can we go to a more private area
Abigail: Yes….. let me ask the commissioner first…
Abigail calls Frank: Commissioner….. Can I use your private area… Jack is here

As they enter Frank's private room….Jack smiles at his father - in- law and Frank smiles back knowing what is happening next
Jack: I received the Dissolution of Marriage Certificate this morning…. The judge signed it you are no longer married to Brian Baker…. Jack gives the certificate to Abigail…I can't say congratulations since I know this has been very hard on you… Divorce is hard
Abigail: I never thought that it would have come to this but this is best for both of us… Brian deserves to be happy and I do to … together we were making each other miserable…. Jack ….. thank you for everything….. send me the final bill
Jack: I'm glad I could help… if any irregularities should come up please don't hesitate to call me
Jack leaves and asks Frank what time the christening of the triplets will be this Sunday
Frank: from what I've been told it will be at the end of mass… Father Quinn doesn't want to miss the playoff game… by the way has Erin over come that nonsense on that rag magazine
Jack: Once Garrett explained everything to her... she's fine….. it was good that it happened… it toughened her up… Reagan's always rise to a challenge
Frank smiles: Abigail….. sit for a moment
Frank: Is it over… are you alright
Abigail: I'm officially a single mother… tonight I have to tell the boys
Frank : Is there anything I can do for you… do you want the rest of the afternoon off
Abigail: being alone is the last thing I want
Frank: Is there anything on the calendar the rest of the day… if there isn't I'm taking you to lunch
Abigail: Frank ….. you don't have to worry about me… I'm fine
Frank: no is not an option….. Where would you like to go
Abigail: Since you're insisting there has been a place I've wanted to try… Il Brigante ….. it's not to far from here
Frank: something new will never hurt
Danny has been on pins and needles…. Maria is expected to deliver the baby any day now and his mind is not on his work. The case that Sid gave him at bequest of Frank who was given a tip by Archbishop Kearns is one that should have easily been solved, but Danny is not focused on it.
Maria and Danny have a talk since Danny's action's are driving here crazy also
Maria: Danny….. sweetheart… you can't keep calling every five minutes…. I told you I will let you know when the time comes… there is no way I'm going to deliver this baby without you there… but your getting ridiculous…. You need to get focused on your work
Danny: I can't help it… I keep thinking something bad will happen to you … I wasn't there when Linda died and that's been eating away at me
Maria: Danny… I'm not going to die….. we are having a baby…. She hasn't decided when she wants to come… we just have to wait…. Sometimes I wish I was like Eddie….. she went in ….. they opened her up … three boys.
Danny: I don't want your beautiful body to be cut
Maria: then let's get your mind off of it…. Let me help you with the case

Maria: How many times did we solve cases by just bouncing the information… Since I stopped working your mind hasn't been on the job… whether it was about coming home and getting laid and now Danni's arrival let's face it you've slacked off… tell me I'm wrong
Danny: you're wright…but you did make it hard for me… you found my weakness and exploited it…. That sun dress and wearing nothing underneath it…. Was not fair
Maria: what's your excuse now… I've put on 50 pounds I have to wear moo moo dresses
Danny: what can I say you're still sexy
Maria: You're hopeless... Let's get back to the case… The guy confessed to killing his girlfriend, his prints are on the knife…. What's been troubling you
Danny: Archbishop Kearns told dad….. somebody confessed to killing the girl… but because of the confessional privacy he can't disclose it…. Which means we got two people confessing to it
Maria: so who do you think did it
Danny: The poor bastard that's locked up assumes he did it and if he didn't he blames himself for being out of his mind and blacking out because he was dead drunk. The more I talk to the guy he gives little tidbits that it might not be him. If you were there you would pick up on it
Maria: I'm here now…. What about the guy at the confessional… anything to go on
Danny : The only thing I can put my finger on is the day and time of the confessional….. Archbishop Kearns won't allow us to see the video camera of the church since that's in violation of church policy with confessional privacy.
Maria: how many city camera's are around the cathedral….. can you look at footage during that time. The one that's locked up did say that his girlfriend was afraid of a peeping tom….. you got a general description…. Danny we use to find people with less information…. Just get focused
Danny: you're right… I need to go back to that crime scene and see if I missed something that could tie this together

Abigail cooks dinner for her two sons David and Andrew….. After dinner they have the conversation that she had hoped she would never had to if circumstances were better
Abigail: David….. Andrew… There is no easy way to say this ….. your dad and I are no longer married as of today
David: Mom… what happens now
Abigail: The only thing that changes is that your dad and I won't live together… As far as you two nothing will ever change … we love you very much… you can see him whenever you want
Andrew: Mom why did it come to this… who cheated on who
Abigail: Andrew…. Don't think that… life has a way of changing things… my fondest wish is that when the two of find that special someone is that your love stays with you till you die… that didn't happen with your dad and I….. our love wasn't strong enough to keep us together…. We both decided that before we started resenting each other it was best that we went our separate ways
David: Mom … Andy and I know dad has someone … do you
Abigail: Did your dad tell you or did you find out on your own
Andrew: I heard him talking on the phone and I told David…. Did you know he had a girlfriend
David: You knew….. did that upset you
Abigail: Yes …. I knew but she wasn't the reason for this…. Our marriage was over before this happened…. A simple answer is we became two different people ….. who liked each other, but no longer loved each other… can you understand that… there has to be love for a marriage to work….. if there is no love your better off having a roommate or simply living by yourself….. This is still new….. be patient with us until we start making some ground rules that won't disturb your lives to much…. If something bothers you tell me… but please don't make the mistake of trying to play us against each other
Andrew: you both are cops we know that too well
Abigail: Your dad is going to pick you up tomorrow and you'll stay with him the weekend….. listen to what he has to say … don't judge either of us … alright…. You know how much I love both of you
The next day…Brian picks up his sons and leaves Abigail to herself….. her thoughts go to her luncheon with Frank the day before
Frank: Why did you pick this place
Abigail: You're a creature of habit…it's either Delmonico's or Gallaghers ….. I wanted to see if your habits could change
Frank: Do I need changing
Abigail: Time will tell….. This seafood pasta dish looks appetizing… what do you think are you willing to try it
Frank: What the hell …. I'll try it….. Linguine, clams, mussels , shrimp with lemon butter and cherry tomatoes….. you want some wine since your not going back to the office
Abigail: one glass to calm my nerves
Frank: Abbey… what is going through your head… are you second guessing yourself now that the divorce is over
Abigail: No... getting divorced was right for both of us…. I'm not sorry for it
Frank: what are you nervous about
Abigail: It just dawned on me….. this is the first time I've been with a man as a single woman in over 15 years
Frank: Abbey… we've been to luncheons and dinners before…. What's different now
Abigail: I don't have a husband… you don't have a wife… don't take it that I'm hitting on you… but I could if I wanted to …. That's the difference
Frank: are you nervous about letting go and trying out your new freedom… I had a hard time after Mary Margret passed… but then it happens
Abigail: I remember… I've been your office wife through some of those hard times….. I use to wonder if I was ever single would Frank Reagan take me on a date
Frank: of course I would… you're a very attractive woman
Abigail: It's a date… but I'll let you know when I'm ready for it….. bye the way will you be looking at my ass differently now that I'm single

Sunday morning arrives it's Christening day for the triplets…. Eddie and Jamie have kept the babies at home but it's now time for them to be exposed to the outside world. The boys are dress in white as is the custom for Catholic Baptisms. Jamie places the appropriate color ribbon ….. Red for Justin , Blue for Jeremy and White for Johnathan.
Eddie: Jamie …. Lets make sure we have everything… pacifiers. Diapers, baby bottles, baby wipes,
Jamie: I packed everything last night except the baby formula….. I think we are all set
Eddie: blankets…. I don't want them being cold in church…. There's a big draft in there…. I always get cold
Jamie: I got the colored blankets… stop worrying… we will be fine
The boys are placed in their baby carriers and strapped into the back seat of their SUV. They arrive at the Cathedral where Danny and Maria the boys godparents are waiting. Danny and Jamie carry the boys into the designated pew infant of the alter… Eddie and Maria have their usual talk
Eddie: are you going to be alright…. This is your due date isn't it
Maria: don't mention it to Danny ….. he'll want to take me to the hospital now…. I don't want to miss this… not only am I the boys aunt … I'm their godmother
Eddie: you forgot….. their third milk boob
Maria: Danni will thank them for getting me ready for her
Mass begins with Father Quinn making an announcement
Father Quinn: Today will be introducing Justin, Jeremy and Johnathan Reagan into the Holy Catholic Faith with their Baptism. The Rite of Baptism, the first of the seven sacraments, is steeped in the history, traditions, and rituals of the Catholic Church and Faith. It is intended to cleanse away original sin and symbolizes a rebirth in Christ, recalling his baptism by John the Baptist. The ceremony initiates them into the Catholic faith and membership into the church, the holy body of the people of Christ. …. It should be noted the triplets are identical….. I hope I don't mess up
Eddie: we got you covered father….. their color coded...The congregation laughs
Father Quinn smiles: Thank you Eddie
At the End of Mass Father Quinn asks Eddie and Jamie along with Danny and Maria to bring the boys to the Baptismal Station.
Father Quinn reads John 3:1 - 6 … Unless a man is born of water and the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Father Quinn proceeds with the ceremony as he anoints each of the boys with the sacred oil and then pours the holy water on each of the boys foreheads three times As he says … I baptize you in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
After giving his final blessing he asks the remaining congregation to give a round of applause to the newest members of the Catholic Faith
Eddie: thought for sure they would start crying once that water hit their heads
Maria: They're good boys … the pacifiers kept them busy
Eddie: did you see who came and sat next to Frank
Maria: The boys kept you out of commission…. But I think you're back now
Eddie: Are you going to help me get the scope… Have I missed anything
Maria: You can ask her at the house
Eddie: don't tell me you're not interested
Maria: we'll ask Erin maybe she knows something
Eddie: we Reagan women have to stick together
The Reagan clan gathers at the Reagan house where Thomas Oliver caterers are waiting to serve them their Italian Feast menu
Lena and Armin go to Frank: Frank …. Eddie …marrying Jamie was the best decision she ever made….. where did you find this cater… the food is delicious
Frank: You have to ask Abigail… she did it
Lena: who is Abigail….. your girlfriend
Frank: She is my right hand at the office
Eddie seeing her parents with Frank: It's time the boys have a picture with their grandparents…. Come to the couch….. First the Commissioner and Grandpa Henry …. Then you and dad
Frank asks Henry to join him …. The Reagan patriarchs with their newest Reagans
Sid and his wife, Garrett join Abigail as they look at the picture taking
Sid: are those three babies future NYPD….. can any of you tell them apart
Sid's wife: they are so cute….. Jamie and Eddie certainly have the looks… those boys are going to be lady killers when they grow up
Garrett: Abby…. You're by yourself
Abigail: Garrett…. Thank you for keeping it to yourself… but now there is no reason to hide it… I'm a single mom now
Sid: When did this happen… are you Ok
Abigail: I'm fine the two of you no longer have to walk on eggs shells because of it…. Life goes on
As everyone is enjoying themselves and mingling and looking at the sleeping triplets… Danny takes a plate to Maria who is sitting looking rather uncomfortable.
Danny: Sweetheart are you all right… your turning pale
Maria: Danny … I think you need to call Dr Stephanie….. I started having cramps….. I think my water broke
Danny: Holy crap….. I'm getting you to the hospital
Maria: Danny….. don't say anything….. I don't want to ruin this for Eddie and Jamie… everyone is having a good time….. Go get the car warmed up and I'll meet you there
Danny: are you sure
Maria: once we are at the hospital , then you can let my mother and sister know and let your dad and the rest of the family know
Jamie seeing Danny and Maria realizes that something is happening.
Jamie: Danny…. Maria what's going on
Danny: Maria's water broke…. I'm taking her to the hospital…. Do me a favor call doctor Stephanie… just don't say anything until I call you from the hospital… Maria will be stressed out if this celebration is ruined because of her….. Ok… Let me go warm up the car and you help Maria to it….. Ok
The Reagan's are born with an emergency alarm in their makeup… Frank notices that Jamie and Danny are planning something and goes to them.
Frank: What is it
Jamie: Danny is warming up the car… Maria's water broke
Frank: Maria….. tell me straight are you all right….. do we need an ambulance
Maria: by the time an ambulance would arrive….. we could already be at the hospital…. I trust Danny to getting me there
Frank: fine let's get you in that car
Jamie helps Maria to the car and Danny immediately heads for the hospital
Frank makes an announcement: Today has been a celebration for the next generation Reagans… looks like my grandchildren have their own timeline as to how they do things … the newest Reagan is on her way….. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves… we will be doing this again soon…. For now the Triplets need to be brought to their cribs so their routine is not disturbed….. the rest of us need to be at the hospital to greet our new little girl Danni Reagan
Eddie: Jamie why didn't you tell me….. I need to be with Maria
Jamie: Maria made me promise that we stay with the boys… she will call you after she delivers Danni
Erin hearing Eddie: Jamie is right….. you've got your hands full…. let's get the boys situated so that they can be comfortable in their own cribs…. There are enough of us to be at that hospital when this baby arrives
Lena: Baby…. I'll stay with you … the boys know their grandma now and I know their schedule… everything will be fine
Abigail comes to Frank: Is there anything I can do
Frank : This is my credit card can you settle up with the Caterers …. Bye the way you did good… I'll ask Joe and Amy to stay with Pop
Abigail: I'll make sure they clean up … before I forget congratulations on another one
The Reagan clan once again show that they take care of one another. They assemble at the hospital and wait news from Danny as to when his daughter is born.
Carmen and Anna Baez received Danny's call and came to the hospital as soon as they could. The wait now begins….. Meanwhile at the Reagan house Henry sets up old family videos of the Reagan children growing up …. He thought Joe and Amy would be interested in seeing Joe's father that he never got to know
Amy: Joe you're always struggling as to why you do some of the things you do….. this would be great… everyone says how much like your father you are …. Let's see …. We have nothing better to do… we really can't fool around with your grand pa here
Joe: That last case I worked with Uncle Jamie… I did make an ass out of myself….. because of it … he told me I was nothing like my father…. Maybe I need to know my father to know myself
Amy: look at this family ….. they are amazing….. I thought my family was close… sweetheart … you need to see yourself
Abigail pays the caterers and makes sure everything is in order and put into place
Abigail: Mr Reagan….. do you need anything else before I go
Henry: Mr Reagan… Abbey….. I'm Henry or Grandpa…. Do you have a little time we can chat…. You and I after all these years have never spoken….. I think it's time

Abigail: I don't understand… me and Frank… I hope you don't think their something inappropriate between us
Henry: I already know about his you know ….. what's the word they use today….. hookup's….. if I thought so we wouldn't be having this conversation

Henry: I'm not going to mince words….. How much of your divorce was about your feelings for Francis
Abigail: I don't know how to answer that…. Brian resented my working for Frank…. He assumed I cared for Frank more than him….. But that wasn't the case…. Brian and I are no longer the two people that lusted after each other when we first met… The lust dried up and we no longer knew each other….. we stayed together because of our boys… but that too became unfair to them
Henry: Francis and I have had this conversation about you
Abigail: You have…. But why
Henry: when he told me you were getting a divorce… I asked him if he was going to go after you… he scoffed at the idea because of the age difference…. His answer to me was why would a young beautiful woman like her want to be with an old fart like him….. he didn't say he didn't want to be with you… he is just to old for you… so what's you excuse… because every time I see you looking at him I see the same as him looking at you… so what's your excuse
Abigail: I don't know how to answer that… What I know is Frank is the most amazing man I've ever known….. do I want to know if it could work …. Yes ….. but he still see me as his daughter
Henry: My advise to you then is … when your ready take him and fuck him … while he still can… make him realize your not his daughter… you're the woman that loves him and make him show you how much he loves you… is that clear enough…. Time is running out
Abigail: you're serious aren't you
Henry: one thing about the Reagan men is they are slow to the plate… Maria did that to Danny and now we have a little great granddaughter coming tonight… Instead of being miserable Danny is Happy. Eddie had to show Jamie he couldn't live without her. Take Amy in the other room…. She told Joe Either make her his or leave her alone… after seeing those honeymoon pictures and that little swimsuit he would have been the biggest dumbass if he let her go
Abigail: I never expected a conversation like this…. I'll have to think about it … Will you tell Frank we had this conversation
Henry: He's a grown man he doesn't need a sex talk from his father
At home... alone... while pampering herself in her bubble bath Abigail's mind can't stop thinking about what Henry told her... should she really make the first move and let herself go and just make love to Frank and let the cards fall where they may... She closes her eyes and let her hands touch those places she would like Frank to.
